221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt market today on: March 16, 2022, 02:15:07 PM
BTC is back at 40k and some alts like BnB and ETH are slowly rising again is this another bear trap or bull trap? What are we looking at here? To me it looks like the market keeps going down.

Mate don't just be fooled by numbers just look around and you see most of all markets and trading globally has been affected by the war on Ukraine and Russia so I think that's premature to think that it was a bull trap the market is always working like that and its normal.

Petrol prices are rising globally and because of that it can also affect the prime commodities too like foods and other utilities and the crypto market is not insulated to that negative impact of that said war thats why be careful and don't be fooled by those indicators.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where is SHIB coin going? on: March 14, 2022, 02:21:51 PM
SHIB has been stable lately. Are you expecting a pumping about this crypto soon? What are your expectations about SHIB in the near future? Will this project meet expectations? Its current value is $0.00002. How many dollars do you think it would be? Is it a crypto to be expected for investment? The market cap of $11 Billion and the amount of circulating supply is insane. Is it normal for it to be so low under these conditions?

As you said the circulating supply is insane, Based on that reality I think you are on the track and already know about it so why did you ask? Anyway it's just sarcasm moving on I believe Shiba Inu was already pumped hard in the previous months and because of that it was already saturated IMO, and I believe it will go down sideways if the market will experience another harsh condition just like before so think about it.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTT (new) Vs BTT (old) on: March 14, 2022, 02:11:56 PM
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bittorrent-new/

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bittorrent/

Is there any relationship between these two BTT?

Is the new one potential?

IMO, the BTT is a BitTorrent token, other than that I believe there's nothing more special about it, Anyway I think the team has tried to fish in the market because they were inspired by the meme coins like Shiba Inu's success that's why there's nothing new and special about it. just like others, it was bound to remain as it is just like the same old BTT with increased token supply status nothing more nothing less! just saying.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: UTRUST is in a position to dominate the payments space. on: March 13, 2022, 04:15:56 PM
1 low fees per transaction
2 All transaction risk is assumed by UTRUST, not the customer
3 Instant purchasing power for things like travel, sports cars and everything else using a wide variety of coins
4 Elrond  is now at the helm and I see greatness ahead. I hope a variety of commodities like grain, gold, silver, oil just to name a few can also become seamlessly integrated into the party then we can spend like there is no end.

IMO, I think Utrust has already proven its existence in the crypto market and it survived in the challenging times in this industry during 2018 the longest bearish period in the crypto industry so that makes sense to me that Utrust has its own capacity to remain competitive despite the unfriendly situation in the crypto market, but as I said always in crypto everything can happen and no platform or coins that can guarantee everything even Bitcoin has subjected to that so just hold and keep believing.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: REASON WHY ALTCOIN MARKET HARD TO SPECULATE on: March 13, 2022, 03:59:40 PM
IMO, the crypto industry has a lot of tricks and speculation is one of them, and thats a normal thing in crypto, since the value of coins come from the speculation of the investors, that's why it's not that hard to speculate the hard part was how to maintain that positivity of speculatory value for a particular Altcoin because most of the time crypto prices will fall sharply without warning and for me that one is hard to predict base on the market movement. thats why we must be aware of it.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming tokens to invest in on: March 12, 2022, 08:27:09 AM
IMO, I think it's a good list but I'm sure many gaming tokens will be introduced later from the big gaming names in the industry, and for me, It's not surprising because it was part of the crypto trend nowadays the introduction of NFT's Metaverse and Web.3.0 has gained more popularity as expected and it was part of the big Metaverse development prospect in the future that's why Im sure that many will be launch soon just like the Sproutie project.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does SafeMoon have a future?? on: March 12, 2022, 08:11:15 AM
Since it's creation in March 2021 by John Karony, the SafeMoon has been trending for the wrong reasons; since the launch of a class action lawsuit accusing it of operating a pump and dump scheme. They were further charged with misleading naive investors with shoddy promotions, disguising their control over SafeMoon and having a significant percent of the SafeMoon tokens.
SFM has dropped by 6% at $0.0011 in price as at yesterday, 10th March and has lost 40% of its value since it's creation in March 2021. Does this bode well for SafeMoon investors or it still has a fighting chance? 🤷🤷

IMO, I believe Safemoon is one of those long lists of useless meme coins/tokens it's understandable that not all meme tokens have a future and only a few have made it to the top like Dogecoin and Shiba but without any use cases, even those top listed meme coins are in danger to fall down and back to zero, Dogecoin without getting shilled by Elon it will remain the same as before same as Shiba Inu it was driven by hype and shilled heavily by some influential crypto people so just be aware before investing in it. just make sure you are ready for the outcome later.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & California on: March 11, 2022, 02:05:31 PM
Bitcoin enthusiasts in California are attempting to make their state the first to recognize cryptocurrency as legal tender A state legislator in California has introduced legislation that would make bitcoin legal money in the state. The action would be in violation of the US Constitution, which provides that Congress has the exclusive authority to declare what is and isn't legal money. According to the Constitution, however, state officials are responsible for defining "legal tender."

I think that's good news for the California Bitcoin users, but as the author said it might violate the US constitution, well that's an interesting development about crypto adoption in the US particularly in California but the big question is how they can implement that proposal if it can violate the US constitution? It looks uncertain to me. so only time can tell if it was implemented or not!
229  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin ATMs forced to shutdown in the UK on: March 11, 2022, 01:47:41 PM
Well if that was the requirements of the Government regulators then I believe everyone should have followed it to remain legal because in reality there's nothing we can do about it they must comply to stay operational and legitimate. Anyway, I think there's no reason to be alarmed about it because it's just a simple Government law enforcement and anyone can buy and use Bitcoin without ATM'so just relax.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: smal USDT balances ?? what to do ?? on: March 10, 2022, 03:49:13 PM
i started accepting crypto payments for my online business, a client paid me 110 USDT, i was unable to convert to BTC sadly using my wallet, and sendindg to kraken will take like 20$ fees (maybe more), what on earth am i supposed to do with those USDT to convert to fiat (as am paying my bills) without losing much of its value ?!?...

thanks,

I think its a complicated problem since your so-called wallet has no function that instantly converts it into fiat, Based on the OP, I presume that those $110 USDT is an erc20 tokens base on your estimate it can cost you $20 dollars if you send it to Kraken, Im sorry to tell you that because it was an erc20 token and the fees on Ethereum Network still cost you money, and there's nothing you can do about it without cost you some dollars for transaction fees.

But still, you can correct it next time by using a wallet that has crypto to fiat conversion functions that are available in your country I tried it too because I have a mini-store for prime commodities, telecom prepaid loads, and some merchandise, I have tried to accept crypto payments through QR code, and only accept XRP for an instant transaction and cheaper fees. avoid accepting those crypto coins that have expensive fees. it can affect your profit. I like the Matic network for payment because almost it has no fees in terms of USD value, but sadly it was not supported with my wallet only XRP was supported so I have no choose
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart Move... on: March 10, 2022, 03:24:55 PM
Do you think converting my XRP holdings to Solana for long term hold is a smart move?

IMO, I think XRP has been there for a long time already and many ups and downs have been through, but still, XRP has survived all of those tests, but the most recent was the SEC drama and until now it's not been clear how it will end, and for Solana, I believe it's just a new blockchain with large community supports but if we base the Solana achievement so far I can say that its not that yet convincing. so I guess if you want to convert your XRP you must convert it on some tested coins in the market other than Solana preferably Bitcoin or Eth. but still, it is your decision to make that's why think twice and good luck!
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any way stop receiving BSC airdrop tokens? on: March 10, 2022, 03:10:58 PM
Hello friends

please is there any possible way to stop receiving some BSC based token after performing a transaction or initiating swap.
i recently noticed that each time i perform any of these i m being sent some free token to my wallet and i began to wonder how come about those free coin and it can not be converted for any reasons, usually with high values and fake volume.

i m sure you understand what i meant as many of us here uses BSC for transactions and to receive payments, any solution Undecided?

I believe there's no way to halt those incoming token transactions in your wallet address because it was free to send in the blockchain network to any address so I guess its better to let those tokens stay there in your wallet and just let them remain idle, I dont think it will pose some danger in your other tokens if you will not interact with those tokens address and smart contracts for me thats the better solution just dont bother with those spam tokens let it be there and rot.

233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Alts Follows Bitcoin's Fall? on: March 07, 2022, 01:56:48 PM
When bitcoin rises, the altcoins keep the price and if when the bitcoin falls the altcoins fall even more. Why do altcoins usually follow bitcoin?

I think it is because Bitcoin has a strong impact of influence in the crypto market, because of its marketcap dominance, just look at the total Market capitalization of Bitcoin its marketcap share a very big pie of the total marketcap so I think that was the main reason and second is the trading pair as we observe most altcoins has a trading pair with BTC so I think that was a strong compelling reason why altcoins also drag to the Bitcoin price.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to sell? on: March 07, 2022, 01:52:50 PM
Hey guys,

I own these 6 coins and I'm planning to sell 2 of them.

Which one of them has the lowest potential in your opinion and why?

Thanks in advance for your replies!

I'll go for ADA and DOT because, in my opinion, these two coins are not performing well in the recent period, But I didn't say that they are nothing, all of those in the list has strong fundamentals in short they are all worth to hold but since you want to sell two of them that's why I pick ADA and DOT for you to choose!
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where should I invest money? on: March 06, 2022, 12:18:23 PM
In these challenging times, we need some critical thinking with a calculated response to the current situation around, especially that there's a threat of war around us, that's why if you want to invest in cryptocurrency just make sure that the coins you want to invest in reliable and investment-grade coins like Bitcoin, Eth, etc. while the other option is the gold-backed cryptocurrency like Gold Token( Gold Storage) as we know that gold prices nowadays are moving up because of the huge demand globally.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did Ukraine successfully rug us? on: March 06, 2022, 12:10:35 PM
IMO, I think this is a sort of misunderstanding, As we all know that Ukraine is under attack by Putin and it has a war happening in the country, Do you think Ukraine has time to do an airdrop? there's a war happening in Ukraine grounds that's why they need a donation to buy weapons and other war materials so it's clear that it's not a rug Ukraine needs help now so those who can help do it now without any precondition.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin announced that it can be used for payments in IOS. on: March 05, 2022, 12:28:12 PM
Users can run the app on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices with iOS 12.0 or later. It also boots on Macs with an Apple M1 chip using macOS 11.0 or later.
https://finbold.com/dogecoin-wallet-for-ios-goes-live-meme-coins-co-founder-reveals/
Would you pay with Dogecoin if it was allowed in your country?
But in my opinion I may not use it to pay for anything for a while, I still prefer to invest in Dogecoin.

I think there's nothing so special about it! because there are a lot of Apps in IOS that already supported Dogecoin and it's normal that's why it's nothing new? or Maybe because it is a none custodial wallet who knows they will treat it as a special but for me, it's just ordinary information and there's nothing special about it. I have not any against Dogecoin? Im just pointed out that there's nothing new about it. Anyway, it's a positive development for Dogecoin to its credit.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is refusing to block Russian customer's crypto wallets. on: March 05, 2022, 12:05:32 PM
Source: https://www.cnbc.com/2022/02/28/binance-will-not-block-russian-accounts-after-ukraine-request.html

Binance is refusing to lock account belonging to Russian customer's, what is your take on this? I believe that this might be a better move due to Russian Citizens that don't desire war still being able to move their Roubles to crypto for safe storage.

IMO, I believe that Binance doing is right because those Russian crypto users are not part or involved in the invasion and I also believe that they don't want the war only Putin wants it, and because of this many innocent people in Russia has suffering now with the mistake committed by Putin those sanctions are designed to make people suffer by destabilizing their economy to force its leader to do something but Putin has not done it so far. to be exact both Binance and Coinbase are also declining the Ukraine request.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be Cautious and take Caution. on: March 05, 2022, 11:52:33 AM
With the recent Russia/Ukraine invasion, the Ukrainians asked for help accepting bitcoin and other form of donations.
Having know, Scammers are taking chance of this moment to invade as well, it's best someone we all be guided and not fall as victims to this.
Five minutes of your time can lead to an hour, please be guided in this times.
You could share to your pals, I felt I should share this. People are lossing funds!! I'm no expert at privacy of coins buh take caution and be Cautious.
Thanks X

Thanks for these reminders Mate, I agree that we should take some measures if we want to send donations, its better to give them to the proper channels, to avoid enriching those BS scammers that always lurking around and take some advantage in the current situation involving Ukraine and Russia so just make sure that you give your donation to the right people via the right channels.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real life utility question on: March 04, 2022, 02:36:53 PM
Is crypto now more than a speculative asset or just the same old thing based on hypes only because it seems like real life use case is far from crypto, we want it to happen for real but it's really not happening, what is stopping this from happening already.

I think because of the crypto volatility, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin can be used as an investment asset, rather than for payment in the real world, aside from volatility issues the second reason might be this, as we know that we cant send crypto without transaction fees, and that was an additional burden to many users while using fiat there were no fees for transferring payments and that could be the reasons why the massive adoption was not happening yet in the real world. anyway, it's just only my opinion.
