Quite an interesting project! if you consider Monero as an anonymous coin by default. DeepOnion will be at least a younger brother! I can not say that at the moment the market of anonymous coins is saturated. I think that it will be a good year for anonymous crypto currency  Very well said, only time will tell if when Deep Onion will be big like Monero, maybe within a year or so, nobody knows, we can just wait and see. I doubt so, it would be like for some very nice cryptocurrency like Nano to beat Bitcoin in terms of marketcap. It is possible but very unlikely in the foreseeable future. DeepOnion is one of the best privacy coins though and we need to get people to understand that it's much better than Verge and Dash  |

What news about mobile wallet? By roadmap mobile wallet release planned for Q1 this year. But March almost ends  I have the android wallet on my phone. I use it instead of the full node on a desktop. I don't have enough onions to worry about staking. I have Onions on desktop but I don't want to leave the computer running all the time for staking rewards. I prefer to have them on the computer though, even if you don't risk anything if you backup you private key but still...  |

I wouldnt spend a penny on this scamcoin untill the end of the airdrop, thats when the sell walls
are going to go up, and this no use coin is going into the tank.
Come on, this is a great and innovative project. Sure it's not perfect yet, the dev team is not as large as top marketcap coins but it's still much better and cheaper than most privacy coins out there and it's only the beginning. |

Search engines, facebook as well as twitter will certainly decide to suspend the advertizing of cryptocurrency.
DeepOnion never paid large corporations for advertisement, I think it is a waste of money and it run against the idea of decentralization behind blockchain and crypto. Of course we use social medias, but if we could only use decentralized services and stuffs like Steem, that would be even better no ? |

thx, cannot find this conf file, do you know where it is located in the deeponions folder? Go Menu, then type or search %appdata% , then find Deeponion folders  Just copy paste the config file on that folder Good luck I hope your wallet will be fine yes thx, did it, but no results so far. I feel as if my messages keep getting overlooked, somebody replied to one.. but then nobody else replied.. We are advertising OBSF4 and MEEK for our wallets. Can anybody confirm that OBSF4 and or MEEK is properly working in wallet version 1.6.0? When i try to connect through OBSF4 it does not properly read the torrc file, and just uses context "default" rather than "bridges" Is there anybody out there actually using OBSF4? Maybe the community could compensate for proven losses like this, drawing few Onions from the airdrop pool would'nt hurt us so badly I think. I don't know, it sucks as it was unexpected and Kucoin hasn't been so quick to upgrade  the exchange can revert to the main chain where the withdrawal doesn't exist. V 1.6 is no bad ! Nicely done
It's not very different from 1.5.6, but after 460K block will be enabled Stealth Addresses, so it's more important. It's a big difference for me!!! I upgraded from like 1.3 to 1.6 everything is way more smoother now and the stealth addresses are important indeed! We're a privacy coin after all Can I download the new wallet right now without updating all nodes etc? If not I would prefer to wait a little I think you have to update all the nodes for the wallet to function properly and sync with the network. I haven't updated yet either, I will do it tomorrow |

You all should try it. I did it and I really liked how it's working Another level of privacy Syncing. And already created my first stealth address.  Kind reminder: only available on the testnet Test addresses it is very interesting feature. But when you using it need from time to time make backups, because it will create new addresses in wallet.dat Isn't it possible to create different wallets on the same desktop computer for testing purposes ? |

The marketing is not professional but I would say semi-professional as some people create content which is on a professional level and everyone involved in the marketing is conscientious no matter what I think that compared to other crypto projects, yes it's pretty good indeed |

Especially it is dangerous now to hold crypto in exchanges. Agreed, you need to understand that this is a longterm project anyways. So you wouldnt get much profit from holding this coin on an exchange. You can get stake + 4% each week for the coming month or so for free! I recommend downloading the wallet Not recommended to use exchange address for airdrop and but I can't see any actual rules against it. As previously stated, it is much better to download the wallet locally The problem with exchange wallet addresses is that they dont show the true amount of your coins in the wallet. This will get you in trouble if you want to have your airdrop correctly handed out to you, because you could risk to recieve less. Thats why its recomended to use the desktop wallet also its safer to keep the coins from the exchanges. It would be nice if we could have a partnership with Kucoin to airdrop Onions but I am not sure it would really help the project in the long term, of course it would give us some publicity but I am not even sure Kucoin would find it worthing their energy. |

Many wonder why the price of the onion does not rise, I tell them just wait for Binance to enter so they can see the big rise they will have, at that moment the holders will be millionaires ...
IMO it takes time, you cant expect $100 by next week. You will have to wait at least a year for this imo. This is why you have to be patient and not look at the price too much -> look at the tech, community etc It could reach $100 much sooner than a year but that probably would'nt be sustainable, very much like when $Onion reached $20 in january. There are just so many factors influencing crypto prices...mass psychology is one of them but for us as a community financial speculation is not the most important, most of us support DeepOnion because we share a collective will to achieve something meaningful through technological innovation. |

I am looking so forward to the end of the airdrops so that we can be listed on the larger exchange sites. We will then begin to realize the true potential of DeepOnion.
I agree, some big exchanger didn't accept Coins that still on airdrop phase So I could say that the real game will really going to start after the airdrop Exactly! Once the airdrops end we meet the criteria of some of the largest exchanges. Once we are on those the Sky is the limit I didn't realize that was a requirement for larger exchange listings?? What's the deal with that? That's cool though if it'll help DeepOnion get on a bigger exchange though. That's true, I think the airdrop ending will more help the price rather than harm. in some weeks we know it better. But I'm sure in the long run we will win It will be really nice to see the distribution completed and DeepOnion qualifying for listing on bigger exchanges, that's for sure |

Ali Hassan he meant on the airdroped onions, some call them free, but they are earned because we are the hodlers. I wouldn't mind free Onions on top of the airdropped ones |

In 2013, it took over 2 years for the market to recover so don't get your expectations too high. Good news is that we are probably near the bottom so its only up from here!
I just want to say, I'm not going to tell anyone DeepOnion will for sure go up in value in these next 5 weeks. With the end of airdrops coming, I don't know what will happen but I suspect the price of Onion will drop in the short term. Hopefully the drop in value will be offset with the increased amount we receive in weekly airdrops.
I am not super bullish either but there is no reason to be pessimistic, when I look other small marketcap privacy coins they seem doing pretty bad currently and even worse considering they do not even airdrop free coins weekly. All it takes is a bit more bullishness in the market and a bit more trading volume on Kucoin/Cryptopia/Crex24 and the future exchanges like Next/BitIndia and everything should be much better pricewise. |
