222  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment advice? on: June 15, 2014, 03:50:28 PM
Why not invests in a UNIQUE idea you have, which is about bitcoin also ?

Or, you can buy bitcoins now, hold them, and then sell them for high price.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction Info on: June 15, 2014, 03:48:24 PM
Thank you very much, I had a feeling this was a change address thing.

I dont use the core client for wallets, these are old wallets on a distance computer which i was planning on moving, so thought i'd do some small stuff first just to see how the wallets work.

I had a slight worry that there was a virus adding other transactions in every time i made a pay which i dont want when i'm about to send all the money out of there.

So in the core client, how do i see these change addresses??

If you are using a version of 0.9.0 or above, you won't be able to see it.
224  Economy / Economics / Re: $50k to Invest - Convince Me! on: June 15, 2014, 03:30:46 PM
Because simply, the price is going up again, you can read more in the speculation forum.

Or, you can come with a solid UNIQUE idea which is bitcoin-oriented and make profit from it.
225  Other / Meta / Why not open a new market for domain selling and such under the digital goods ? on: June 15, 2014, 03:25:56 PM
When I enter the digital goods forum, I see many people trying to sell domains.

Why not organize that and make a sub-forum for the selling of the domains.
226  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Cheap keys on: June 15, 2014, 03:22:36 PM
What if the buyer wants to use Escrow, you will tell him no ?

With what you wrote in your thread, you are saying "I'm scammer and I admit it"

I send you the key and you test it. If everything works ok, then you pay. I can't see your problem.

Don't act smart on me, you've edited your thread.

I would advice anyone who wants to deal with this user, take caution and use Escrow.
Use CaptainBeck post as a reference, the post above me.

It's not sale trashing, but you raised my inner flags.

Quote
Why would you say that?
It makes absolutely no sense.

It is not Russia who will be the aggressor , they know they don't have anything to gain even if victorious (very slim chances). If indeed a war starts in Ukraine it will most likely engulf Bielorussia first and then spread into Russia , probably with a few fights in the Tiraspol area.

A false flag operation, in order to make Russia seem the aggressor.  A lot of attention has been on the US lately: dragnet surveillance, guatanamo, snowden, financial crisis etc..  The US wants to improve its image abroad, so after the Olympic games suddenly Russia was the bad guy with anti-gays, pussyriot etc.

They don't need to let russia strike first , they are already labeled as the bad guys.

And honesty , both sides have scored so many bad points in the past few years that it would make both of them look bad even if they were invading hell.

+1.

I can't find any reason for starting a war, only innocent people who pays the war bill.

Why can't we leave in peace ? Why all what we seek is money and power ?
228  Other / Meta / Re: Section for Ad space selling on: June 15, 2014, 03:08:48 PM
I think yes, you can ask at the Service section, or the general marketplace section.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Merchants accepting BTC on: June 15, 2014, 02:48:59 PM
I see there are new websites for selling digital products, accepting BTC like sellfy and sellan.

And as the news were circulating, now PayPal is surveying about bitcoin, so don't worry, bitcoin will go wild soon.

Try also buying some bitcoins now and hold them then sell them for high.

Or try forex trading for example.

I advise you to ask a Mod. to move your thread to the digital goods section.

It will get better views and maybe buyers as well.

233  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: what promotion should we select for our new security crypto related app? on: June 15, 2014, 02:11:28 PM
Hi! With couple friends(we have small company) we have been working on special security software especially for bitcoin (it helps you to protect your bitcoins against thefts) and now its finally finished! We´re working on our websites now, but would like to promote the app to as many people as possible through various sites and channels(FB, Twitter...) by banners, articles, maybe video.. Could you please help us to determine the best possible ways and placement of promotion so it can reach the most potential buyers? What would appeal to you and where?

note: we do not have thousands dollars for that, but you probably concluded Smiley

Thank you very much for your opinion!

Social media is one way to reach people, but there are others. You could do a competition or survey, or attend a bitcoin conference and give a presentation;

Maybe also he can host a google hangout or a Skype conversation with a well-reputed guest which work in the security field.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction Info on: June 15, 2014, 02:09:20 PM
As shorena said, if the problem still exist, used the "-rescan" command line.

It will help you to sort that thing out.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Town Podcast on: June 15, 2014, 02:05:42 PM
I'm here not to suggest a guest, but to tell you, the idea is brilliant.

Why you try to host an online radio as a future move ?

You can also record that hangout or Skype conversation, and make YouTube channel and post it there.

You can reach the world, make it spread Smiley
236  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I start earning Bitcoin ? on: June 15, 2014, 02:01:22 PM
You are right, try buying btc now as they are low and hold them, or sell them when the price is high.

or invest in a project that is bitcoin-oriented, and it's better you have your own idea, which you can work on it.
237  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are u mining directly? on: June 15, 2014, 01:56:09 PM
Try and test, you will never know the answer, unless you try and test and calculate the profit.

I always have the best answers when I try, go on and give it a try.
238  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is BitCoin faucets really worth the time? on: June 15, 2014, 01:48:23 PM
For me, no.

It's only a way to earn one or two dollars, if you are in a need.
239  Other / Meta / Re: How to gain that green trust score ? on: June 15, 2014, 01:45:29 PM
You can only get put on the trusted list if an existing user ads you to theirs. Do lots of successful trades and be active in the community in various ways and you might get put on there eventually.

I think this is the answer, you were looking for CaptainBeck
240  Other / Meta / Re: What are constructive posts? on: June 15, 2014, 12:51:02 PM
Constructive posts are the "useful" posts.

No spam posts, like "I agree with you".

Trolling or making fun about someone/thing.

Copying and Pasting posts.

In the end, it's the post you feel it added something new and you made effort it it.
