221  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Nowadays, even ordinary laptops can mine bitcoins. on: July 28, 2018, 10:50:19 AM
Because it requires a lot of power and electrical resources are not small, the process of mining (mining) cryptocurrency is usually done with a special computer. Can be a desktop that is fitted with many graphics cards to server farm.

But lately emerged an alternative form of software that allows users with laptops or regular computers to participate in mining without needing to spend to buy expensive devices.

The Honeyminer startup software runs dynamic mining by combining the user's computer into a pool of thousands of other computers. Each computer contributes power to the cryptocurrency mining process.

The "power" donated comes from the computer GPU. If it is not in use, then the computer GPU will be used to participate in processing the mining process together with GPU kompter-other computers incorporated in the pool Honeyminer.

Thus, while the GPU capability of a computer may be small, the combined power of thousands of GPUs can generate significant resources for this collective mining process.

Do you have links to support this findings that lap top alone can mine heavy duty transactions? As we all knows that mining will need a super computer and a huge energy source to satisfy our earnings therefore if we will just rely on lap top and cellphone about the mining process then don't expect a big income from these devices.
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Again BTC going down? on: July 28, 2018, 02:55:06 AM
Yesterday we saw BTC was pumping. But again it is going down. Any news behind that? I thought it will break 10000$ around coming days. The BTC is the legend and can't think BTC will replace by other coins. What would be hope you guys the BTC price at the end of this year?

This is the reason that i urged everyone that they are too early to celebrate and too early to conclude that the bullish run is already starting. We don't know if the previous spike is just a trap by the big whales to attract more investors that after the pump it will suddenly to crash again. Thefore lets just wait and see more of the development of the market before we conclude so that we will not be disappointed in time like this.
223  Economy / Economics / Re: When bitcoin prices rise up the market also will on: July 28, 2018, 01:26:47 AM
I have noticed it when actually the bitcoin price is rising up the cryptomarket also will. Is that because of bitcoin is directly proportional to the other cryptocurrency? so that when bitcoin dumped the other crypto also will dump? Whats your opinion about it?

Because Bitcoin was commonly accepted and the center of transactions in all local crypto exchanges for easy fiat conversion specially during market crashes in which this is the reason too that even how many Altcoins we keep still it will be traded to Bitcoin for us to earn the fiat earnings specially during price will pump. Maybe if all Altcoins can be accepted directly in all local exchanges then maybe they will not depend to Bitcoin anymore.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coin are bleeding badly on: July 27, 2018, 02:30:10 AM
Recently since Bitcoin are up trends but all most all alt coin are bleeding badly. Really it wasn't expected Angry. On previous record we can see if Bitcoin bump tham alt was bump more. I don't know the exact reason for that. I guess alt are waiting for Bitcoin ETF ( Excahnge Traded Fund) for SEC approval. We expect midle of next month we can see the result. Till that alt coin holder should be pataine. At least Bitcoin on bulls run that is good sign for alt holder. Once a time alt will bump too.

We know that Bitcoin is the center of attraction in talking of bull run in which if this bull run will really going to happen this year then of course Bitcoin will be the overall lead. So i guess the people are selling some of their Altcoins to keep some Bitcoin so that they could be on board with the Bitcoin if the bull run will start.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So Who Agree with me On this picture about ICO projects? on: July 27, 2018, 01:04:45 AM
Indeed, this is the most commonly happening now to most of the ICO but this is due to crypto market is unhealthy right now in which most of the people are afraid to join the crypto currency investments for now but if the market will become healthy again then maybe the picture will be completely beautiful again too.
226  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptocurrency Regulations - Philippines on: July 25, 2018, 04:16:22 AM
Philippines is now becoming a cryptofriendly, and this can help to boost their economy.
Despite of scams (Bitcoin Scam: https://bitpinas.com/news/php-900-million-bitcoin-scam-rocked-the-philippines/) happening around the Philippines they are still open for the possibility of adopting this technology, and the good news is Philippines is now granting a Licenses for the 3 crypto exchanges.

Here's the link: https://cointelegraph.com/news/philippine-special-economic-zone-grants-licenses-to-three-crypto-exchanges

I just hope that they will make a good regulations about this, and no politics involved about this thing. Smiley

I don't know if this is a good news or bad news in this country because currently the Philippine citizens are enjoying earning Bitcoin without tax that once regulation will be successfully created then everyone will possibly required to pay Bitcoin tax on every local exchange transaction. We just hope that the policy that will be created will be the same in Japan and Germany in which anyone that are engage in Bitcoin is free of tax.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too late to invest in bitcoin? Is it a bubble? on: July 25, 2018, 02:48:10 AM
It is always not too late to invest in Bitcoin specially now that the price is starting to rise up. Lets just hope that this is not a big whales trap that after the price will increase it will suddenly to fall. Some peope will not invest due to Bitcoin bubble issue but for me if Bitcoin is a bubble then it should be already burst for a long time ago because there is no bubble that will last long for how many years of existing in the market.
228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who believes in HODLING? on: July 24, 2018, 05:08:40 AM
Hello people!

Was looking at CMC and was wondering few years down the line what we will be able to see in this list and how long it will be?

Reality is we are very early in this industry and the pace at which projects are coming up and the technology is changing does anyone believe in HODLING cryptos anything other than Bitcoin and Ethereum?

I feel it's a buzz word used to create a FOMO effect

It easy for the others to say HODL but in reality its is very tough decision to make specially on this current market performance in which i think bearish is not over yet. HODL is only good if the market is healthy in which most of the coins are stable and strong so for now i just sell high and buy low strategy.
229  Economy / Speculation / Re: RECENT BITCOIN BULL RUN GOOD BAD OR UGLY on: July 24, 2018, 03:14:39 AM
Well as everyone can see btc has made somewhat of a recovery in the last couple days i was interested in some opinions  if people really think this is the run that will take us to a new high or will it be short lived and will we see a even lower low in the coming weeks,   please feel free to to give your opinions.

This is good but this is not enough in which this is not what we are looking for because the increase movement is so slow compared to the last year performance. If Bitcoin price will reach $10,000 then that will be the time that i could say finally that the bull run is really happening but for now i just considered this as normal market movement in which it might fall anytime.
230  Economy / Economics / Re: Government Exchanges on: July 24, 2018, 02:05:13 AM
If the government still doesn't know how to put down all cryptocurrencies(or maybe they're still figuring how to tax users), why wouldn't they create an exchange and get some profit from it?

We know how B.S some exchanges are, they needed KYC but in the end, you won't be able to withdraw your funds.

Instead of spreading FUD, I hope government from all over the world knows that running an exchange can add funds for their country, and their pockets! Grin

I know it will be making cryptos centralized but look at those exchanges asking for our pretty faces and names just for their KYC/AML purposes.

It is more difficult for the government to run a government own corporations because some of the government employees are not honest enough to serve the people that they are mostly engage or be tempted in doing some corrupt activities. Therefore the best way is to just empose taxes to these establishments then just collect and the taxation department will do the rest.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS or ETH, which one is preferable?? on: July 24, 2018, 12:39:28 AM
In the current situation of better growth of crypto industry I want to make some investment.
But I really got confused when I am going to make the final decision. My mind is supporting ETH but my study suggesting to go for EOS.
I am just freaking puzzled to make the final decision.

Could you plesae suggest me one or both with percentage to make a fruitful investment??

Regards.

Although EOS cyber security product is proven feasible to the masses in which it could really attract some investors but still i will stick to Ethereum in which the platform is most commonly used by most of the ICOs because of ERC20 standards in which it will make the transactions and trading are more convenience to all people. Vitalik also continue improve the ETH transactions by increasing it up to 1 Million per seconds so if this will become a success then maybe it will may equal the Bitcoin market performance in the future.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: July 23, 2018, 10:50:14 PM
i see the future. ether will be 1k$ in 2018.  Cool

update: stoppp ittt. i didn't buy Sad

Do not put all of your eggs in one basket this is one of the golden rule in investing. Except if you are 100% that the price will go up before this year would end then go on and buy a lot of Ethereum. Anyway, this coin is 2nd to Bitcoin so at least your investment is at low risk but better if you split your investment to other coin like Bitcoin and for sure you have minimize more the risk.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is possible to buy sell high amount of btc? Ex. Whales? on: July 23, 2018, 08:58:05 AM
I am interested to understand where whales or big players do buy or sell high quantities of btc, for values of millions usd. As far as I know coinbase or general exchanges allow rather small amounts per week, compared to the millions the above move. Where do this kind of exchanges happen? Please helpe understand. Thanks

I think the big whales will need many sources in which they need it to spread their operations to different exchanges so that they could not be easily trace specially that KYC is now strictly required. If they will just to buy a bulk of Bitcoin in a single exchanges then i think they will be easily to be discover and may accuse of money laundering but sometimes i think most of the exchanges are also in conspiracy with these big whales like MT.Gox but they were just discovered.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can ruin a Country? on: July 23, 2018, 07:25:51 AM
Well, i just thought, if bitcoin become a currency of one Country, maybe it can destroy that country? Think of it, Bitcoins do not have a tax, and tax are used by the government to make that country a good one, without tax, what will be used to spend and make that country a good one?

What do you think?

A certain country that will adapt Bitcoin and declared it legal can fully benefit of Bitcoin tax thru regulations in which all of their local exchanges could apply tax on every transaction of Bitcoin to fiat conversion and i strongly believed that with the power of regulation then Bitcoin cannot ruin a country because it will forbid any illegal person to use Bitcoin with the help of KYC.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest into Bitcoin or bank on: July 23, 2018, 04:31:23 AM
I have worked to get $2000 worth of money and I am planning of investing in bitcoin but my uncle is pressuring me to save the money at bank. I have done everything to convince him but he is not comprehending to my point. Please what do i tell him again to convince him?

I will also suggest that you invest your money in Bitcoin because it has a chance to grow in multiple folds specially now that we are currently expecting of a bullish run as we are already half of the year. I think you don't need to convice your uncle because it is your money anyway in which you have all the rights on how to spend it. Anyway, after you prove that your money will grow in Bitcoin then that will be the time you can convince him to believe.
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 60,000$ by the end of 2018? on: July 22, 2018, 11:40:16 PM
Julien Hosp, the co-founder and president of TenX, believes that the price of Bitcoin will possibly reach 60,000$ by the end of this year.

By being an investor for over a year, I have observed the pricing circle of BTC.

Last year, the price evolution started strongly from 12 August 2017 from ~ 2000$ and reached 20,000$ by the end of the year.

Will the history come back again this year?

My prediction is yes. How's about you?

For me it will be impossible except if he have many friends that are big whales in which actively engage in manipulating the market movement then $60K will be possible but if he will just rely on real demand of Bitcoin then that will be impossible to reach.Simply because if the Bitcoin will become more expensive in the market it will become more expensive to purchase too in which if that will happen then possibly most of the small time investor will be force to shift to Altcoins investments which is much cheaper to purchase.
237  Economy / Economics / Re: Beliefs about money and wealth on: July 22, 2018, 10:13:01 PM
Everyones hasn diferent beliefs about money and wealth. See for example 35 different ways of thinking about it here:
https://daringtolivefully.com/powerful-beliefs-about-money

One famous author, not my favourite, yet an influential one is Robert Kyosaki. In his book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", he examines two different beliefs and states that those believes will shape your success.

What of these do you agree with? What other beliefs do you have about money?

1 - Millionaires are greedy, that is why they become millionaires.
2 - Company managers just want to use the workers to make themselves rich and others poor.
3 - Having money is a question of luck, if not of "gods grace".
4 - Debt is always bad.
5 - To make money, you just need to have a great idea nobody thought off.
6 - Cryptos are the way to make money and be successful without having to put effort into it.
7 - To become rich I just have to believe in Bitcoin because many people have become rich doing that.
8 - To become rich I just have to be more clever and streetwise than everyone around to get my share of the cake.

Your turn to think ...

(EDIT: These are NOT my beliefs, at least not necessarily, is just a list to think. Is not the list by Robert K. either.)

Given examples are all fine except for number 6 and 7. This is because for me Bitcoin and crypto currency did not really guarantee that we could be a rich in this investments due to it was more risky than any other non crypto investments. Perhaps as other source of income would be an assurance but if luckily become rich then it will be just fine too.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best altcoin on: July 22, 2018, 12:39:14 PM
For me it will be Ethereum. Simply because Ethereum is the currently number 1 ranked as the most trusted Altcoins for an investment and in talking of commodity, its Ethereum platform was most commonly used by most of the Altcoins to support their projects. In fact, Vitalik Buterin is still in process to make Ethereum transactions to speed up up to 1 million transactions per second. Just imagine if this will become success then it might be equal the Bitcoin someday. Here is the link https://www.ccn.com/vitalik-buterin-ethereum-will-eventually-achieve-1-million-transactions-per-second/.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any chance to pump eth value? on: July 22, 2018, 07:36:39 AM
I am holding some eth to sell. But the eth price is still very low compare to my expectation price. Is there any chance to increase the price of eth. Please share your opinions which will be highly appreciated. Smiley

Ethereum is the strongest among altcoins which means it was the most trusted with the highest potential among Altcoins for an investment and Ethereum also was commonly used by most ICOs for their project tokens so therefore it will surely bounce back once the crypto market will start to become healthy again. So lets keep buying on holding Ethereum as it will surely to reach the ATH again very soon.
240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you sell all your coins in Bull market? on: July 22, 2018, 12:19:00 AM
Many people are waiting for the market recovery to sell their coins but I bet you,as soon as market recovers ,they will feel reluctant to sell.

Will i lose enough during the last market fall down performance in which i lose much of my investments but still i keep on holding and waiting for the Bullish market to come. If ever that Bull market will really come then maybe i will sell all of my coins to recover my investments because with my past experiences, i'm afraid that history will repeat itself so like the others we should grab the opportunity or we will loose it again.
