221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should continue to stay in a low price? on: March 02, 2018, 03:04:03 AM
Which do you prefer?
Bitcoin should stay low, market cap not overly huge, few people talk about it, and then we earn small to revcover our loses or
Bitcoin should get the hype, price hits record high, people start to invest huge amounts, banks, media and governments get alarmed again, and then more bans, FUD, and strong regulations. Let's share ideas

This is not how bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies should work. This is naturally an unstable market and pumps and dumps are not just some peculiar phenomena happening, these are natural occurences in digital world. The decrease in bitcoin price are meant for investors' time to buy and the increase is meant for selling. We don't wait for the rise to recover losses. That is not the primary goal, but to gain and multiply money.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines is starting to accept bitcoin. on: March 01, 2018, 12:14:31 PM
Our country just recently held a seminar introducing bitcoin in our country. The said seminar were facilitated
by bitcoin experts and government officials in pursuit of using bitcoin as another form of payment and regulation of it as well.

http://www.wheninmanila.com/5-things-i-learned-about-bitcoin-and-cryptocurrency/

Recently, a seminar was conducted in our university about introduction to bitcoin. Several students in that seminar, including me, were interested since a lot have already entered the world of crypto. It is a good opportunity for students to be aware of this as early as now for them not to just stick with their vowed professions. This will open new doors for opportunities and will make them globally competitive.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SAFEST BITCOIN WALLET? on: March 01, 2018, 11:49:26 AM
You can use a hardware wallet if you want complete security but I myself just use a mobile-based wallet. It is called "coins.ph" and it is a popular online wallet in my country. I can store bitcoins there without worrying about my security as long as I don't let anyone touch my phone or get access to my pin. It is also accesible in web but I prefer mobile app to avoid getting phished. One good feature of this wallet is that it allows users to pay bills and get rebates from doing so.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin As a subject in school on: March 01, 2018, 07:20:54 AM
How about if there's a subject added in school
For crypto trading?

It will be of great advantage to students in programs related to business and enterpreneurship. This will impose competitiveness in the country especially now that the world is advancing and many countries are already adopting to digital currency and blockchains. This may build potential and skills to interested students which in turn may help the country's economy.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Global Crisis, CRYPTOCURRENCY is in danger. on: February 28, 2018, 02:04:00 PM
There has recently been an issue predicting a 10-year global crisis, people are advised not to save a lot of money in the bank, and better to saving money in gold. Then the issue says that the value of the dollar will decrease significantly because the world exchange currency will partly switch to the yuan. If this is true, it will certainly affect the cryptocurrency that has been using the dollar as the main benchmark.

This is unlikely in this growing population of cryptocurrency supporters. These type of issues and assumptions are just brought about by fears, uncertainties and doubts on crypto currencies. Keep in mind that this is not a steady market. There will be time for dumps and pumps. People who don't know much are more likely to be fooled by this happenings. Do not. Stay calm and wait for the market to calibrate.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is posting earning? on: February 28, 2018, 02:00:35 PM
Do I earn in posting even if i'm not in campaign?

Nope. Only those included in signature campaigns will be able to earn money. If you post for nothing, no one will give you credit or any reward because you are not carrying any company's name. You need to apply for a signature campaign first.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you trading ALTs? on: February 25, 2018, 12:53:40 PM
From early Jan to till now I would like to know how is your crypto currency trading going on? To me, market is not stable. I bought lot's of ALTs and all of them are down. Some of them are even over 70% down. How are things going on with you too?

Appreciate sharing your experience.

Thanks

In my case, I am still not trading my coins. The coins I am holding are extremely low right now and is far from their ICO prices. The market is currently recalibrating and this is normal for the first few months of the year. The market is anticipated to be normal during mid year like March, April or May. I will be patient and I will wait for the peak prices.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: encourage others to crypto on: February 25, 2018, 12:41:49 PM
I would encourage friends to understand blockchain and encryption currency, but it is not a good investment opportunity, because the bear market has come, I would suggest they learn more knowledge, so when the bull market comes, everyone will make money.

It is actually a good opportunity to invest in crypto during bear market. It is when coins are lowest and when the bull market hits, profit can be acquired. The golden rule in investing is buy low and sell high.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin affects students' performance in school on: February 25, 2018, 12:36:17 PM
As far as I can observe being a teacher, I am definitely happy that my students are involve in cryptocurrencies and they earn for themselves and help their families. But, their school perfomance is getting worse. Please give your thoughts how will you help students to earn and at the same time it won't affect their school works?

I can relate because I am also a student. It is hard to study and work here simultaneously because this is time-consuming and there are deadlines to be met, same with school works. Time management is extremely important here.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Im afraid of Hackers/Scammers! on: February 25, 2018, 06:00:21 AM
Hey guys.Im a newbie on crypto world. However i started doing my first money 1 year ago using e personal method. However i have improved and now i have like 4-5k worth of alt which i keep on exchange wallets. Are they safe?Or should i get anther wallet?

And yes,I have 100 % secured with email, number ,long password and 2FA but im still afraid

Keeping your funds and coins in an exchange wallet too long is not advised. This is okay if you are a day or week trader because money recirculates in your wallet but if you are going to hold your coins for a long time in an exchange wallet, I suggest that you use hardware wallet.
231  Economy / Speculation / Re: Decrease in price? on: February 25, 2018, 05:31:42 AM
What's currently going on with Bitcoin, and the alts? They've all been dropping, and seemed to raise before slowly decreasing now. I'm not worried honestly, because I know it'll spike in time.

It is still recalibrating. This is normal for the beginning of the year. After the huge increase on the latter months of the year, it will dump so hard on the beginning of the following year. Everything will be back to normal by midyear. Just keep your patience with you because this is how the crypto market goes. It is not always ATH. Fluctuations are perfectly normal.

3. Roadmap
4. White paper
5. Expert's critics and reviews (There are sites for this.)

233  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for someone to manipulate the virtual currency market? on: February 24, 2018, 10:54:32 AM
If an entity is large and powerful enough, is it possible for it to gain a monopoly advantage and manipulate the rises and falls of the virtual currency market?

It is possible to people with funds. In the hierarchy of traders and investors, the richest are on the top and have great potential to manipulate the crypto market. They have the power to create changes in the market because they financially confident. The people on the low part of the hierarchy jus go with the flow and they are the reactors to changes brought about by these top-most people.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will ICOs die? on: February 22, 2018, 11:31:59 AM
Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?

It won't die. The modernization may force it to adopt to the new world, adjust a bit and apply a fee changes and improvement, but the concept where it all started will remain. ICOs are good investments and their numbers are increasing, as well as people investing in it. As long as there are patronizers, it won't be extinct.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check if ICO is scam or not? on: February 20, 2018, 06:29:08 AM
Hey guys, I'm new to the whole ICO world, and BTCtalk as well. I've been reading about a lot of scammy ICOs that take people's money and run away. I'm looking to invest in a couple of ICOs but have no way of knowing if they are good or not. Can anyone tell me how I can go about doing this without losing any money?

Been seeing the same question over and over again. Check the whitepaper, their working product, the team behind it, their roadmap and reviews of critics. Research about that company. That's pretty much all of it in plain terms.
236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my ether wallet can be hacked??/ on: February 20, 2018, 04:07:29 AM
Which kind of ether wallet do you use? There are varieties of them. If you mean MEW, yes, you can be hacked if you enter a phishing site. Misspelled urls are usually phishing sites so make sure that you double check before entering the url. Aside from this, you can be hacked if someone have access to your private keys. That is pretty much all.
237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining SCAM - Possible to steal BTC from my wallet? on: February 20, 2018, 04:04:56 AM
That was sad to hear. I have read that most of the cloud mining are scams which is why extreme cautious is a must. Scammers are good hackers and manipulators, even if you gave your private key without fund, they can still find ways of stealing your money because on the first place, you gave them something you should not. Next time do not trust cloud mining immediately. Hope this serves as a lesson to everyone reading this.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what if altcoin or bitcoin crash? on: February 19, 2018, 07:58:36 AM
Prices usually recover from a crash. You just need to wait for its price to increase again. Unfortunately, some shitcoins dies. You can no longer recover your money from dead shitcoins.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose your bounty hunt? on: February 19, 2018, 06:36:24 AM
I usually choose ICOs handled by trusted managers. This is by far the fastest and most convenient way. Next thing I do is check ratings and critic reviews in websites and social media. I am not fond of reading the whitepaper because it is time-consuming, but if you are industrious enough, you can. I usually choose ICOs that are related to trading sites and/or real estates.
240  Other / Off-topic / Re: All CryptoCurrencies are scam? on: February 17, 2018, 03:46:10 PM
Not all cryptocurrencies are scam. Some just turns out to be not that successful. Not all coins are for long term, some dies sooner than expected. But yed there are some that are intentionally created by scammers to trick people. This is why it is very important to know which coin to invest to avoid being fooled.
