Ran the pixelpatcher again, rebooted. No change, 2nd card still shows as standard VGA adapter with a code 10 error.

Sapphire radeon 570 nitro+ 8gb (2 fans).

Just checked by my friend. The air comes out in the back and in the rear.
|
|
|
How is the airflow on 570 and 580? Do the hot air flow out on the front (where the connectors are) or the back?

Radeon 570 nitro+ 8gb
Micron and hynix the same 30.x mh/s ETH and about 900mh/s DCR dual mining.
Strapping done
1300 / 2250 clocks -100mv Fan speed 50%
Good results?

Keccak (sgminer), Daggerhashimoto (sgminer) and decred (sgminer) won´t get benchmarked even if I do a "precise" benchmark. Using 1 amd radeon 570 8gb nitro+. I am testing the rig before connecting all cards.
How to benchmark these 3?

Borrowing your thread. I have 2 new rigs setup. (1x rx 570 micron nitro+ 8gb and 1x rx 570 nitr+ hynix 8gb). I will connect 13x gpu to each motherboard. Here are my numbers after 1 hour of mining. Pbe "one time click" + some undervolt, underclock and overclock. How are your numbers compared? Using nicehash. Micron: Hynix:

I set mine to auto. But temp is 72C and fan speed 30%.
Using trixx. Strange

Why do we need to benchmark?
Do I need to do a new benchmark everytime I try new OC settings for my card?

Samsung is the best
Micron is the worst.
It definitely matters, but not a ton. 1 or 2 Mh/s if you bios mod them correctly for ETH.
Samsung cards are way better for Cryptonite, at least in my experience.
Got a bunch of 570b gb micron. Lol. Will get them up and running soon. Hope they will do gopd.

I may have to consider building a rack myself, not sure how it's supposed to look like or what the best design would be to keep it compact but easy to cool though. I´m building one myself in wood. 13 gpu in one row. Interesting, didn't even consider wood. How far are you already and can you share any pics? Its all in my head. I´ve seen other made riggs out of wood. Will be buying parts in a few days.

If I had it to do again, I would just buy those wire racks. They make a 24"x36" one that is perfect to build an enclosure around and have room for ducting, plus they make 8"x36" half shelves that just sit on the back two poles and can easily mount cards or fans on. If I had it to do over, I'd just build it myself or make it using wire racks. The kit I bought was a PIA and is not easily changeable after being built and cabling is a nightmare with it.
Which wire racks? Do you have a specific recommendation? I may have to consider building a rack myself, not sure how it's supposed to look like or what the best design would be to keep it compact but easy to cool though. I´m building one myself in wood. 13 gpu in one row.

I am currently setting up my rig with nicehash. Currently the rig is offline a few more days.
Using amd radeon rx 570 8gb.
I downloaded nicehash legacy 1.8.1.8 together with binaries. When launching nicehash I get "AMDOpenCLDeviceDetection.exe - the program couldnt launch correct 0xc000007b. Click to close the program" Nicehash starts and all I can see is the pentium cpu.
The reason I would like to start it even if the rigg is offline is to do a benchmark.
SOLVED: Missing some ME drivers. And it doesn´t work to do benchmark offline.

Can we trust "one click timing patch" ? I have sapphire 570 8gb micron. And I saw it copied the strap from 1750 and applied it to 1500 and above to 2000.

What is the bios switch on the card for? Is it 2 identical bios?

I see this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvbqkv2SgHcfrom the video it seems like Nvidia GTX 1060 is same as 106 cards and you can use 8*gtx 1060 + 11*AMD cards to get this motherboard going with 19 GPUs. Any one got it working like this? I have 7 GTX 1060 and would like to use this motherboard. 106 cards are pretty hard to find. I only see 11 nvidia cards ?

Use DDU to uninstall drivers, install the newest. Set the timings yourself or download a BIOS already done. https://anorak.tech/c/downloads/asusUnderclock gpu clock, undervolt, overclock memory clock. Voila.

Please stay on topic. no random rants as these tend to happen with these power/riser threads. IF YOU CAN - please answer back with number indication. Ex 1. ect. 2. ect 3. ect ect ect..
1. dual 8 pin adapter off gpu. how many watts ? 150 or more. no one has a clear answer. i know that 150 watts per single 8pin is standard and it's well below it's max. but does the dual adapters that psu's come with just hanging on that same 150 watts (however it can go more because it's just the specification?)?
8-pin from PSU (standard terminals) can handle 288W. From my PSU (EVGA G2 1600W) I have 8-pin cable that splits into 8-pin (powers radeon 570 GPU) + 6-pin (powers riser). (Each PSU handle 6-7 GPU + risers. The one handling 6GPU+risers is also handling motherboard, cpu and ssd.) Eek @ the guy with 39 RX570s and no boards to run them on.
Why didn't you build smaller rigs? That's ridiculous :O
Can I ask what brand you went for?
Hehe. There are no other boards to get. Got 53 cards (returning or selling the rest), 6x evga g2 1600w, ram cpu etc Just missing the boards and risers, arriving in 2 weeks. Building 13gpu rigs. Who knows, maybe there will come an update in the future allowing us to use all 19 pcie to regular cards. Sapphire radeon 570 nitro+ (half is 4gb, the rest 8gb).
