222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Mining on: March 27, 2015, 10:37:13 AM
I cannot comment on dwarfpool, as I have never mined there.

But, I have mined at monero.crypto-pool.fr for many months. Good pool with good devs.

As a side note, I just bought a GTX970 and I can hardly wait for it to arrive so I can mine (& game) with it.

Thanks for the comment!
Congratulations on the new acquisition and to use her good health!  Cheesy

Please recommend me which of the two pools is more productive and reliable? Teeter between http://monero.crypto-pool.fr and http://dwarfpool.com
Thanks for your cooperation!

That kind of thing will get better answers on the mining thread

Thanks a lot!

226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KARM] Karma / ₭ / X11 on: March 23, 2015, 05:47:11 PM
Article mentioning Karma with a link to givekarma.net...

"Karma, another cryptocurrency, issues digital money based upon people’s good deeds."

http://thenextweb.com/insider/2015/03/23/get-ripped-or-die-mining-how-fitcoin-can-make-you-a-bitcoin-fortune-at-the-gym/

whoa. that awesome. Karma is really a great coin. good will always prevail. As long as we focus on the doing good and not so much of being rich from it. It's one of those coin of giving and sharing, not hoarding it.

Speaking of giving. That is something i should start doing...

While you focus on doing good ...... other coins evolve !!! You may find it sad but a fact. Reference Monero, Dark, etc .....
And before you call me a troll ... I will say that unless fudge, here in the topic has nothing in particular, how, when and how developed coin developers! Too bad ......

What would you advise me? I have several hundred LTC and I do not know what to do with them. Will lift you LTC to keep it or to exchange it for DARK?
Thanks!

Do you really need advice? GetintotheDRK before LTC drops anymore Wink You will be onboard when we wave bye to LTC in the rear view mirror.

You even have a direct LTC/DRK market in CEX.IO. Time to switch horses. Welcome!

Thanks Guys!  Wink

Thank you.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] sgminer v5 - optimized X11/X13/NeoScrypt/etc. kernel switching miner on: December 19, 2014, 07:36:10 AM

(it should work with metallicjames is you use in lyra2RE.cl the blake256 code of metallicjames version.

Um i don't get it, if i want to use the metallicjames version with your kernel, which kernel files do i need to replace exactly?
Cause if i'm not mistaken, simply replacing all metallicjames' lyra2re related kernel files with your kernel files won't work..
thanks.
no it won't work directly, the first kernel has been rewritten.

You need to replace the first kernel in the new lyra2RE.cl which is starting with "search(" actually lines 152 to 225) by the old one. Then it should work.

Didn't work, replaced the codes mentioned with the old one, produce the same error as before being replaced:
Error: clSetKernelArg of all params failed.
GPU 0 failure, disabling!

try gpu-platform -1 in config or bat

Proper recording is not this: --gpu-platform 1
Could you give a more detailed explanation of what exactly makes this line, what it means.
Thank you.

235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] sgminer v5 - new unified multi-algorithm on-the-fly kernel switching miner on: November 11, 2014, 12:28:25 PM
Wolf0, thanks for your great kernel!!!

Improve 60% in my rig with 14.6 drive - 14.9 don't go.

Well done!

I would be very happy if soon these 60% are achieved in the new kernel for X11!
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] sgminer v5 - new unified multi-algorithm on-the-fly kernel switching miner on: November 10, 2014, 01:07:03 AM
Thanks to ystarnaud the sgminer-develop branch has been updated with badman74's optimizations: https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer/tree/develop. And thanks to elbandi&nicehash you can already download new sgminer-5.1-develop binaries (neoscrypt algo, whirlcoin, diamond v2 and the arebyp scrypt kernel, badman74 optimizations): https://www.nicehash.com/software/#sgminer

Need "badman74" binaries plz
ok my master branch is updated with neoscrypt changes, and new binaries are up
not sure if it will help....
mine is throwing HW errors on diamond, groestlcoin, and scrypt/nscrypt kernels with 14.6
was only doing this with scrypt/nscrypt
on the other hand Xn algos, and neoscrypt seem fine

nice one badman74,,,,,,,,,, is it your "modded for extra hashes" binaries that you have updated ?

cheers

In my new sgminer-5.1-dev minning algorithm X11 gives many hardware errors !!! With 14.6 drivers under Windovs! What can I do to stop hardware errors? * .bat file for me

del *.bin
set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
sgminer.exe --algorithm x11 -o stratum+tcp://pool.xhash.net:3412 -u XXX -p XXX --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8193 --intensity 18 --worksize 256 -g 2 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-reorder
pause

still with sgminer-4.2.2 works perfectly!
Thanks!
