221  Economy / Speculation / Will BTC break through the $9k resistance line? on: February 13, 2018, 09:31:49 PM
If you know anyone with millions of dollars that are on the fence share with them to invest lol But beyond that we can do something to get those those that are not yet in the game involved. You can start a youtube channel, start a page on facebook, or simply even start making posts about crypto that don't overexaggerate but do more to bring light to this amazing blockchain revolution that we are blessed to take a part in. Let's start sharing more with our friends and family, why and how we got involved in crypto don't underestimate the power of your story.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / What will the winners look like in the next 5 years? on: February 12, 2018, 08:08:05 PM
It's between speed vs. decentralization. Which coin will be adopted by most? Many say it's in the top 20 already we have still decided what we're going to use as THE PROTOCOL coin. Educated opinions welcomed.
223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Chinese New Year boost crypto market cap? on: February 12, 2018, 07:57:41 PM
What is it with the Chinese New Year and Bitcoin's recovery? Why do some spammers, I mean, people believe the Chinese will suddenly pour all their money in Bitcoin on that day?

It does not make sense. Please explain what the Chinese culture is regarding investments and speculation when their "new year" comes.

Spammers? lol even a Legendary member agrees with me... "Historically January has been a month of declining prices only to recover and grow again after Chinese New Year. I expect the same to happen this time, especially with some of the recent good news like the positive notes on crypto in the US."

History repeats itself doesn't it? At the very least in the Chinese crypto economy the traders that took off will be back in the game, so on a micro level, it will go up if not greater on the Macro based on history.

Love not Hate will uplift and fulfill the prophecy of Nakamoto my friend.
224  Economy / Marketplace / Powerhouse T-Mobile entering the blockchain soon? on: February 12, 2018, 02:38:07 PM
https://www.coindesk.com/t-mobiles-stealth-blockchain-work…/

The signs are so obvious when giant companies like tmobile are embracing blockchain technology it makes me wonder why isn't everyone else? Not because it's the in thing to do just bc everyone else is doing it but because this technological innovation is useful and will pave the way for our future's.

Once more big named companies start rolling in that's all we need to form the perfect storm of getting everyone and gov's on board with crypto 100% as a great thing as opposed to a very questionable speculative market...

thoughts? Let's all share more good news instead of FUD, power is in the hands of the people. Question is what are you sharing?
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Chinese New Year boost crypto market cap? on: February 12, 2018, 04:54:43 AM
With Chinese New Year coming up on 2/16 what do you think will happen will the market cap get an influx of new money from China or not? I'm thinking we will and hoping it will boost prices for all coins but of course, this is just speculation, what do you think?

The Chinese New Year will bring a boost to the market, after all China is a big Crypto Market and especially on Chinese New Year
there a lot of money changing hands.

I agree you two, let's send positive vibes into the cryptoverse and believe it will boost the cryptoeconomy! Being they are one of the biggest, if not the biggest players in Crypto, there is def. some kind of serious price action that will take place whether up or down who knows, but I believe the bulls will come out to play on a new year high of adrenaline/dopamine.

Make sure to share more good news coming from the gov. and big public companies instead of FUD to help Crypto scale faster, play your part in this crypto economy that you have more control ov. then you may think.

We can all share more positivity and help crypto get adopted faster.

229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / any opinions regarding MyEtherwallet.com? on: February 09, 2018, 11:29:42 PM
Apparently someone hacked or took over administration uses on their main twitter account and that has some worried about the fact of whether they are a safe intermediary wallet to use for erc 20 based tokens, any opinions or better suggestions?
230  Other / Politics & Society / Valentine's Day Love for BTC from US Gov? on: February 08, 2018, 10:09:46 PM
Good news recently in on Valentines day the US House of Reps. are holding a meeting for the potential applications of the blockchain outside of currency, not sure if this will be livestreamed yet but this is more bullish news that the US is working on ways to utilize the blockchain and not dismantle it.

Any thoughts on how this will turn out?

WalMart and many other big business players will be there...
231  Economy / Economics / Re: Elevator down and stairs up for BTC? on: February 08, 2018, 08:25:45 PM
I think Bitcoin should be as stable as it can be. As it can solve my problems in the market and Bitcoin was not actually designed to be A trading asset, if we see the current price and the price of a year ago you can see the difference in the price. At that time Bitcoin was barely at $1,000 but now it has closed even $9000. I will say it is normal for Bitcoin to go up and down like this .imagine what people have felt when Bitcoin has dropped from $1,000 to $200 with the mtgox exchange crashed.

Very true this bear cycle was not the biggest in terms of % lost was, and that is the important part to remember that we have come back and thrived when worse odds were against us, especially now that the Cftc wants to help us prosper. Let's believe the SEC comes around to believe and be as optimistic.
232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need help transferring Bitcoin bw hard wallets to claim BTC Gold.. on: February 08, 2018, 08:19:15 PM
Sending bitcoins to a new wallet is recommended to avoid exposing private keys with BTC to a third-party software. BTG will remain in the old wallet - transferring BTC does not transfer BTG. I have no experience with Keep Key wallets, but I suppose they are able to export private keys. In general the procedure is the following:

1. Send BTC to a new wallet
2. Export private keys from the old wallet (now they have BTG and maybe other forks)
3. Import these private keys to a wallet supporting BTG (it may be the same Ledger Nano S device you sent BTC to, if it can import private keys)

If the software supporting BTG in Ledger Nano S can be completely trusted, you can probably skip step 1 and import private keys with both BTC and BTG.

I do not have a hardware wallet, but I claimed BTG in a similar way - by sending BTC to another wallet, exporting private keys and then importing them to a wallet supporting BTG (in my case it was Coinomi).

Thank you for your response however I am confused on how to execute steps 2 and 3. I can easily send my btc ov to new wallet. How do I go about exporting the private keys from the old wallet? Then once I hae exported the private keys how do I import the private keys to my new wallet without deleting or erasing somehow the BTC I just transferred ov?
233  Economy / Economics / Elevator down and stairs up for BTC? on: February 08, 2018, 05:33:41 PM
I loved Dec. but now the bear cycle came down on us so fast like an elevator. So what does that mean for the near future are we taking the slower stairs back up for BTC?

I'm glad we had double-digit growth couple days ago, but now it's like so slow and not just busting through $9-$10k.. what the heck BTC.

What are your thoughts, elevator down and stairs up or not?
234  Economy / Speculation / Are we out of this bear cycle yet? on: February 08, 2018, 12:03:18 AM
Some ppl.  believe that we aren't out of the woods just yet and many ppl. believe we have cleared this bear cycle after getting good feedback from the SEC hearing, volume has spiked. However, I am not convinced that we won't go down a little further or even have sideways price action before we start the next bull ascent.

What are your thoughts?
235  Economy / Marketplace / When will USA follow suit and create an ETF like Canada just did? on: February 05, 2018, 05:33:42 AM
https://www.coindesk.com/canada-approves-countrys-first-blockchain-etf/

When will USA create an ETF? Maybe after they regulate on the 6th? Will this push the price of the actual coins higher if people don't put money into the coins rather into an ETF?
236  Other / Beginners & Help / Need help transferring Bitcoin bw hard wallets to claim BTC Gold.. on: February 05, 2018, 02:09:01 AM
So I have a keep key wallet which does not support btc gold. I recently bought a ledger nano s which does support it.

How do I safely and successfully access my btc gold once I send my btc over to the Nano s? Is it as simple as sending it from keep key wallet to nano s? And then the coin that was on there before the fork would appear in the btc gold holding or do I have to do something special to have gold  appear once I send it over?

Anyone that's ever done this before from one wallet that didn't support gold to another wallet that did plz comment only if you have experience w this problem thnx
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Finally getting some upward movement, will are finally out of the bearish cycle? on: February 03, 2018, 10:48:59 PM
So as we made it down all the way to high $7k we are finally bouncing back to $9,100 right now. Are we in the clear to continue upward to a new all-time high or are we still going to see more downward action after the SEC's meeting in USA on Feb. 6?

Not spreading FUD, I believe that it may go down briefly again before it goes up on the next bull run. Not sure if we're out of the bloodbath quite yet. Obviously, it is healthy for a market to have fluctuation to continue upward but will we go upward sooner or later, and how low will it come down?
238  Other / Politics & Society / USA citizens who care about the future of Crypto in the states read this!!! on: February 03, 2018, 05:59:17 AM
On Tuesday, Feb. the 6th there will be a meeting taking place in Washington DC with all the important lawmakers, regulators and jurisdiction entities such as the SEC, etc. They will be conducting a meeting on how to regulate Crypto in the USA.

This is a good thing because it will attract many more investors in the space knowing it's regulated by someone, stateside.

However it all depends on how they regulate it. So do your part in the Cryptoverse and call your senators and congressman and women this Monday following the Super Bowl.

DO NOT FORGET, MARK IT ON YOUR CALENDAR TO CALL.

Let them know how you want it to be regulated. Only if we the people voice are opinions regarding this matter will they be heard. We must educate them to make informed regulation on Crypto for the sake of our own benefit as well as theirs, many do not understand the technology and have poor misinformation.
239  Economy / Speculation / How low will this bear trend go? on: February 03, 2018, 05:05:31 AM
At what price do yal think will be bottom before we turn back up? I'm thinking $4,900 not to spread any FUD, however, they say when it rains it poors, and we have still yet seen people's response to this upcoming Tuesday on the 6th when all American policymakers meet, SEC and everyone else and we see what kind of regulation is made. The price will go down until the millionaires and wall street tycoons are happy to buy what they're going to buy and then we'll see it soar up to $13-$20k post regulations.
240  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you know if your cold storage wallet is secure when bought on Amazon? on: January 31, 2018, 02:27:39 AM
I might be a little paranoid right now that's why I'm asking for educated opinions only. If it makes any difference I own 2 keep key wallets and one Ledger nano s.

You know it's secure based on the reputation and history of the Keep Key and Ledger Nano S wallets.

The device is set up once you receive it. At that time you select the PIN, you receive the 24 word pass key, you open/create your wallets within the device. Technically the device is an encryption tool. If it were previously used you wouldn't be able to set up the accounts. You'd know long before you were about to transact any Bitcoin to it.

Awesome this settles my concern, the very fact that I was able to configure it from scratch myself and create my own pin shows the fact that it was new and untampered with.
