221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET on: May 10, 2018, 03:15:57 PM
The list you gave is a very good one and almost everyone that only got their accounts hacked are because of carelessness and rash decisions. Crypto wallets come with instructions on how to use them safely and they got extra security measures that we can add so we can be safer on using it.

yes absolutely that every wallet's has their own security measures but believe it  or not most of he people are not using that wallet features so  in the end most of the users got hacked and got their assets stolen by anonymous people or what so called hackers

I think use Tor is too excessive. Use tor is very slow even with fast internet connection. Beside that, use tor does not guarantee you will avoid hackers.

the use of tor browser here is that not avoiding hackers but avoiding to load up bad scripts in the site you do not trust right? and most of the hacks was injected using a script

Some really great advice there and yes thanks for that!!

With the LINUX versions of operating systems that are free, if you do not want to convert your entire computer on boot up to one of these systems, there is a software application called Oracle Virtual Machine where you can run the OS's in a Window, running alongside your Windows running machine!

That is Ubuntu (with sidebar) with the Windows calculator in front to hide all my secret stuff, sitting on top of my trading platform  Tongue

It is very easy to install too, you just need a disc image file (freely downloadable in an .ISO format, and then run the setup, very easy and there are plenty of guides too. (rememeber to turn on bi-directional clipboard, so you can easily copy info across, such as privkeys and seeds to import crypto addresses. all in all the Ubuntu I use is 100 times more secure than the windows offering - there are many reasons for this and there is a GUI too as in screenshot, if you are not so experienced with command line interfaces.

Great choice with Tor browser too, if you need to or must use another offering on Windows, make sure to turn off all extra communications with hosts for privacy, these can be in the form of tracking cookies, feedback about usage polices (with full scanning of your machine and data...) there is so much more, check https://www.zdnet.com/article/how-to-secure-windows-10-the-paranoids-guide/

Have fun and be safe too!

the problem with using a virtual machine is that is make the computer laggy and a bit slow for other user
224  Other / Beginners & Help / SETUP A SECURITY IN YOUR COMPUTER FOR CRYPTO ACTIVITIES on: May 10, 2018, 08:39:54 AM
so good day to all of you so I am SnowAngel part of SnowAngelDevs as part of involving in crypto world there are lots of demands in security as I discuss methods and different ways of hackers use to hack your crypto wallets and assets so the problem is maybe not in the person it self but also maybe the set up of our computer environment so you may be asking what is a computer environment this means the setup and how you use your computer in your daily transactions etc etc. most of the time we always just install application cracks and other types of program without even thinking.

this is merely a bad idea and a bad practice when you are involving yourself and your computer in different crypto activities ok so today I will teach you how to set up your computer in the most safest way I know but maybe there are some other ways this is just what I suggest.

but before we start I just wanna tell you that this post of mine has a Filipino version
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3477858.0
I just translate this to reach other nationalities and spread the awareness more.

SETUP A COMPUTER ENVIRONMENT FOR CRYPTO ACTIVITIES

1.OS Choice
Mostly people that are crypto enthusiast is always using a simple Windows OS more on like today's update of windows is windows 10 and most of other people use windows 7 but let's admit most or all hacks was done with a windows machine meaning that most often targeted machine is a windows machine why? because it's the most OS use by people and support things but lets face the fact that windows is not merely secure and not giving you the right security and other stuffs regarding with your security and privacy even there is a settings for your privacy and security they are not giving the full control like what most people says bill gates only give you the window.

so my suggestions for better security is yes use a LINUX operating system ok why linux? linux is a free and an opensource Operating System developed by various community and have different distro so suggested linux distro? DEBIAN and UBUNTU this are the most common and popular distro of linux system use by people so linux not just give you the power to control the windows but give you the whole house whahah so this is just for me but I admit it not everyone of us don't know how to use linux ok you can practice it but if you can't get it just go to the second step.

2.SECURE YOU WINDOWS

Yes you can't use a linux system so ok there is still a way and hope make one computer setup with the following WINDOWS 10(always up to date and make sure a genuine) but yes we can't afford a clean and genuine but you can just use your normal disk to install windows
next install BITDEFENDER antivirus why for me this is the best antivirus since It can scan so much security flaws and give you internet security and a total security. next Change your DNS Servers I already post a thread about it so you can just navigate to my thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3395101.0 and then you can use the DNS Protections for all users in your network.

3.INSTALL AND CONFIGURE BROWSERS
we use the most common browsers right which is GOOGLE CHROME so before using the chrome is make sure that it don't save passwords or other stuffs just go to it's settings and disable the saving password. You can also use different browser is that brave browser have no background with this but It was said that this is also a secure browser so last one use TOR Browser why?so other might say that this browser was use for diving in deepweb and TOR right?yes but ok let's use it in a bright way use this because this browser can disable all running scripts in the website so some of hacks might be done in scripts I believe that this browser can give you security, privacy and anonymity in the web but never use this with other means just suggesting.

4.SCAN WEBSITE or FILE FIRST

If you get confuse in those websitesyou are navigating mostly came from emails in your account sent by an anonymous sender like so what we will do to be safe is go to this link:
https://www.virustotal.com/
and scan the website this site gives you the scan result of different virus detection company from all over the world and return if the website is a scam or not but this  is not enough think always.

5.BACKUP SAFELY

Saving a backup in your computer is not the genius idea ok maybe you say my hard drive has passwords and I think it safe ok  that is not even safe, what if you are using your computer then suddenly you install a software that is literally an exploit without knowing sorry my friend your computer is not that secure anymore so in backing up important data so what are those data? Privatekeys, Passwords and other accounts. So take a notebook or anything that you can write save and print or either write all those important data in that paper then you can now hide it where you only knows this is more safe.

NOTE: I AM NOT PROMOTING PRODUCTS AND OTHER THINGS HERE.

so that's all for now
until next time as what I always say "Stay safe, stay secure you hold your security"

we can't really say because every time the bitcoin price is fluctuating there is no one can say that bitcoin price will be green or what it was base on the market and the people
226  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Hack free ACCOUNTS on: May 09, 2018, 09:09:20 AM

Medyo noob yung diskarte mo pards.

Bueno, usapang kontra hack ba kamo? para sakin ang best precaution is using a hardwallet like Nano or Ledger HW.

Now when it comes to soc-meds, ang best practice talaga is to not click on free porno links.

For free bitcoin airdrops and big dodo, click here --> http://203.168.0.3:8080/

wahaha ok Nano has a vulnerability too as what I know they have a security flaw that can leak the users key I believe that and as of now the bug or leak is under investigation
there are other methods to secure your wallets lalao na kung wala kang way para mkabili ng hardware wallets kasi mahirap pag wala talgang hardware wallets mas prone ka sa hacking kasi nasa internet lang ung wallet mo at pwede iaccess any time Smiley so most of the time the malware created was in exe form or executable kung tamang OS ang gamit mo pwede ka maligtas sa ganitong software kung di namn kung tamang antivirus ang gamit mo pwede ka maligtas and there is always a way to encrypt your backups Smiley
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET on: May 08, 2018, 08:10:39 AM

Don’t Use Public Wi-Fi
Beware When You Download (Even On Your Phone!)
Use ProtonMail

prevention of hackers is very necessary, we really need to be careful that we also do not lose our property
because I myself have experienced it even though it is already a risk playing the online world

Yes the interner is a big risk when it becomes to money matters

Hello fellow investors, community and promotional teams,

We apologise to have to bring you this announcements and development so late.

We are saddened to inform you that David has stepped down due to serious health complications and will not be continuing his role as CEO and Founder.  We ask you to respect David’s wishes and to give him some privacy as he wishes to be with his family now.

Over the past month we have been working on creating a new management team, while keeping the company and roadmap on a similar track.  We will have full details of this shortly.

We appreciate all the support and commitment everyone has contributed over the past couple of months. The show must go on, we will have exchange listing details coming up soon and have also decided that we will be relaunching the ICO after our new roadmap is finalised.  All tokens owed to promoters and support staff will be paid out shortly and we will release a further update when this has occurred.

As a result of the above problem our ICO couldn't be completed properly but we have every confidence the new team with their high tech brilliance will deliver at and above the original vision.

David wanted DRIVR Network to succeed and we will see his hard working dream become reality.

DRIVR NETWORK TEAM.

231  Local / Pilipinas / CRYPTO MINER HAS EXPLOITED YOU WITHOUT YOU KNOWING! on: May 07, 2018, 08:04:43 AM
Magandang umaga mga kababayan ako nanaman po ay nagbabalik with another security lesson sa inyu wahahah ok sa mga nakakadaan sa thread ko maraming salamat sa sa mga walang pake sa mga threads ko wahahah I am just teaching for your good and safety and most of all for your security mahirap mawalan ng pera lalo na ung pinaghirapan mo ok so ang taopic ko nung nakaraan ay about sa pagsetup ng secure computer Smiley sa mga di nagbasa itu po
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3477858.0
ung before that is about ETH PRIVATE KEY GENERATOR bellow is the link
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3427504.0

so ung topic for today is about the thing called MINER VIRUS but I called MINER EXPLOIT

so before ko simulan lahat ng tinuturo ko is ginagawa ko for good and before posting I test it so walang dahilan para sabihing nonsense ung mga thread ko ok Smiley so let's start.

CRYPTO MINER EXPLOITED YOUR COMPUTER WITHOUT YOU EVEN KNOWING!!!

So una para maintindihan niong mabuti anu ba ang crypto mining so un ung way to get bitcoins or cryptos using hardware power like GPU or CPU power so not go so much about that so
Everyone familiar with monero right? so Monero is a crypto currency used online so in trading and monero has this great security features kaya tinatangkilik sia so may way to mine Monero there are like this  GPU mining which is common and then the JS or Javascript miner so in short this java script use your computer CPU power to mine monero Smiley the problem is that this script has been use by hackers to mine monero without damaging thieir computer so how they do it?

1. EMBED THE SCRIPT IN THEIR OWN WEB SERVER

una gumagawa sila ng website nila which is a dummy website with that script uploaded so once i run sa browser ung script is magmine na itu ng monero Smiley so the bad things here is that you can't even tell if the website was affected or use with this script Smiley so the thing is that to track this is OPEN TASK MANAGER and look if your process runs almost 100% this is bad thing if you stay 24-7 with this very high usage of computer una mataas sa kuryente pangalawa maaring makasira ng computer.

2. USE A MAN IN THE MIDDLE ATTACK TO USE MULTIPLE HOST

so I already explained the MITM so the process are the same so what if the attacker don't found useful victim in the network? ang ginagawa nila is ginagamit nalng nila ung mga host na nakaconnect sa network para gawing mga minero wahahaha so that's real po ok kumita sila easy diba so walang alam ung mga tao kasi di kila nagclick ng malicious links and other stuffs how come? the attacker just inject the the javascript on how to do that di ko na eexplain.

3. EXPLOIT WORM

ok ditu sa method na ito pinagsama ung 1 and 2 ok how ok un na nga na mitm ka na directed ka sa site nila bigla may script n nagrurun sa website na un na mag download ng browser extension sa browser mo then mag rurun bigla ng another script to hiddenly install the application that will be running hidden so un then after  nun every time you boot up your computer then it  will run the application mining the monero for the attacker and he/she is sitting pretty earning crypto easy Smiley ok now how youu see this?? ganun padin track mo sa  task manager mo ung task na ang laki ng kain sa memory at process then end mo Smiley

IMPORTAN REMINDERS!!
1.install an up-to-date antivirus
2.use a secure DNS
3.always track of frequently  track your process
4.the risk of this virus or exploit is actually this can destroy your computer if you don't take action fast
5.trust the site you are navigating and then use a browser that actually has a capability to run, block and check javascript I use TOR browser since it has this NoScript

so un palang ung way ko para ma prevent sia then ok

as what I always say "Stay safe, stay secure you hold your security"

232  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Paraan para iwas HACK on: May 07, 2018, 07:12:45 AM
2FA?? wahihih ok ok so maganda nga itu guys but what if I tell you that there is a software use by hackers to generate 2FA keys Smiley yes there is one Smiley  but as of the moment the tool was killed ok there is a scenario where a friend of mine got a Hitbtc account Smiley all set up email nia may 2FA then Hibtc account nia may 2FA so this make him feel secure but as days past:) all of his account was hack!! might think how?? hmmm ok

una there is an exploit as what I explain  in my threads Smiley sa mga napadaan dun alam nio n un so then
there is an extractor like ung mga nakasave sa device ay nareretrieve nia so data ng app nakukuha nia so example si
the problem is his device was exploited so the attacker can start the process of that app and get the feedback so
ok bye bye sa account Smiley

so ok there are ways to better protect your device not just using these 2FA

una antivirus the trusted one wag ung kung anu anu
pangalawa iwasan ang paggamit ng VPN application na hindi trusted ung mga modded mostly have a virus
pangatlo wag mag save ng password or any sensitive information sa isang device better to have multi
pangapat always know how to encrypt your data Smiley

235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this true that GOOGLE will ban the ICO and crypto related ads? on: May 05, 2018, 11:03:16 AM
it looks like it's just a conspiracy because honestly I still see some ads that are on the google platform and some other media and ads from google, so in my opinion it's just a conspiracy to make the price of bitcoin collapsed.
may be it's a fud as what  user Tiktik says for me I agree with him but maybe there is a possibility
After reading this article, for me its just another FUD but its only my opinion, So better to ignore it for the meantime because for sure google will make a official statement on that if they truly want to ban crypto currency ads, beside google get a lot of profit on crypto ads maybe this kind of conspiracy will not gonna happen.

Safety first before doing anything para makaiwas sa kapahamakan.

HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET
Protect yourself from cyber criminals

Good day to all of you guys I am EdsnowAngel a programmer and a bit security tester in different platforms. Now I heard to my friends a lot of concerns saying "please help me my bitcoin wallet was hacked!!"
Ok ok first thing first when your bitcoin wallet gets compromised then your funds was send in different wallet then it is irreversible meaning no return of funds!! so I wanna tell everyone how to protect your bitcoin wallet from such kind of situation.

1st: Protect your GMAIL or EMAIL ACCOUNT

We all know we use GMAIL as our email provider for such accounts like blockchain then we can recover and approve login with email in some wallets, now when your email account was targeted and get compromised then say goodbye to your bitcoin. To secure your bitcoin wallet(ex: blockchain or other) go to your google account settings. and then turn on the 2FA(2nd factor authentication) here is the guide on how to do it: STEP BY STEP GUIDE

2nd: Use your own DEVICE or COMPUTER/PHONE

It's a very bad idea to use someones device(ex:from friend) to make a transaction in your bitcoin wallet why? because first you don't know what is the capability of that person regarding that matters and you don't know if that phone has a lot of malwares and spywares. So we cannot say that you are safe using someones device to make transactions.

3rd: Always backup you PK's or PRIVATE KEYS

This is the most important thing to remember for everyone using your ETH or BTC wallet without backing up your Private keys then you can't recover you wallet in case you forgot your wallet.PK's are very important but there are thing you should do first. Make sure you store your PK backup somewhere that you only know and not from your computer because there are some spyware that might inside of your computer that can steal that file so make sure you back it up print in a paper and hide it to the place where you only know.

4th: Don't open links from malicious emails

This method was called email phishing where an attacker will send the same email in thousands of random users once the victim will click the link in that email then his or her device was compromised to avoid this please do not click the links included in the email immediately please always have time to check who is the sender of that email and if that email is came from the site where it supposed to came from.

5th: Do not trust PUBLIC WIFI

It's quite good to have access with free wifi's but have you think this: IS THIS A SAFE NETWORK? without you knowing maybe some of the people connected to that same network may have idea and skill on how to sniff passwords and credentials this method was so called DNS SPOOFING or SNIFFING if you want to use public wifi then use it not just with your bitcoin transactions.

6th: Do not login on Suspicious links

This method is called PHISHING where an attacker  will send you a link to login with your bitcoin wallet luring you with the legitimate site example is:
the real site is: https://www.blockchain.info/
