221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is Facebook coin going on: October 30, 2019, 11:09:05 PM
The government is pushing hard against the Libra token and I think it's because if that project is successful, it would put too much power in the hands of someone who has proven not to be reliable in the past where money and information is concerned, who remembered when Zuckerberg was fighting hard against crypto? Suddenly he has seen the earning potential and wants to milk it for all it's worth, I sincerely hope it doesn't come to fruition.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: October 30, 2019, 11:06:34 PM
I don't think scam projects are killing the crypto space because the die hard crypto enthusiasts are going for the already established projects, for them it's about the tech and not about the price, I think the scam and price just serves to chase those who just wants to make a quick buck.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can make more profit ? on: October 30, 2019, 10:43:12 PM
Since the beginning of IEOs, very few of the projects has done well long-term after the IEO was conducted while many of them has seen their highest ROI immediately after the IEO so if you wanna get in after the IEO, be very careful to avoid being rekt, instead of spending money on an IEO, why don't you invest in bitcoin instead?
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will China start Altcoin Season on: October 29, 2019, 09:39:51 PM
Definitely looks like it, Chinese project did very well in the last pump and that pump was triggered when the Chinese President made an announcement about how Blockchain technology was the future, so it's possible that the Chinese has triggered the altszn, let's wait and see how it goes.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: October 28, 2019, 10:48:27 PM
The answer to that is very easy.... FOMO and Greed.
Unfortunately some people still fall into the trap when they hear random people shilling the same project over and over again and after a while, the pressure builds and they feel they can make a fast buck with itt and sometimes it ends up badly, to avoid it, you have to DYOR and avoid greed.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoins have a future? on: October 28, 2019, 10:43:11 PM
It's quite easy, projects that seems to have a lot of hype but little or no actual product to show for it after a period of time tends to.just die off, this has been recurring trend and if we are to judge by past events, I think this would continue to be the case.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lowest Deposit/Withdrawal Fee Exchange? on: October 23, 2019, 09:19:14 PM
I prefer withdrawing ethereum from exchanges because ilthe fee is generally lower and withdrawals are faster, one exchange with the lowest fee is Mercatox, no deposit fee and just 0.002ETH withdrawal fee, another exchange with a similar fee is gate dot io which charges just about 0.003 ETH withdrawal fee as well.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO becomes successful = ETH will moon? on: October 23, 2019, 09:15:56 PM
It seems many people still don't understand the concept of IEOs, IEOs is unlike ICOs where contributions are done on the ethereum blockchain and one has to purchase ethereum to participate, the days of gas wars and the fastest fingers and highest gas gets to win the price, IEOs are conducted in centralised exchanges which has nothing to do with ethereum blockchain and the contribution token is not ethereum, it's usually the exchange's own native token. So I see no link between IEOs and ethereum price mooning.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be used in Money laundering and Terrorism? on: October 23, 2019, 09:11:48 PM
The fact is that with every new innovation, there would be those characters that would be seeking to use it for something nefarious, if we should follow the logic that Cryptocurrencies would be used for something illegal, then we have to admit to ourselves that money has been used for illegal activities since the dawn of time and we are still yet to outlaw the use of traditional currency.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: October 23, 2019, 09:09:19 PM
Thankfully I learnt this lesson very early and even when I want to hold any token long term, I keep day trading it and increasing the amount of tokens j hold instead of keeping it dormant in a wallet somewhere which is the surest way to be rekt if the price turns out to be useless in the long run, it has always worked best for me.that way.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Old good airdrops on: October 23, 2019, 09:06:03 PM
Since all months of participating in airdrop, I have never done any airdrop that required me to just comment my wallet address and that airdrop turned out great in the future, they mostly turn out to be shitcoins that were basically useless sitting in my wallet, the good Airdrops like Hydro, Polymath, Rebellious, Enu and others require more than just commenting your wallet address.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: October 23, 2019, 09:02:35 PM
Centralised exchanges get more users and would continue to get more users, infact the highest decentralized exchange(Idex) is now asking for KYC before users can trade, so I seriously doubt that decentralised exchanges would start making an impact in 2020, I see no signs of it at all, Centralised exchange are presently the kings and would likely remain so next year.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend in cryptocurrency? on: October 22, 2019, 09:14:12 PM
I have given loans to several if my friends in the past but I always insisted on giving out the loans in stablecoin because that is the only one where the value of my funds remain the same no matter the timeframe is when it is returned, imagine giving 0.2 BTC loan to someone when BTC was worth $10,000 and getting back the loan when BTC is worth $8,100.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your crypto before death? on: October 22, 2019, 09:10:22 PM
It's quite easy actually, you can add it in your will with the neccessary details stored in a safe location and that location would be added to your will, I know it's easier said than done but if you think it through and execute it well, your crypto wouldn't have to go to waste because it would work well in the end.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Important question to Investors!! on: October 22, 2019, 09:06:13 PM
The Cryptocurrency space is a space that is constantly evolving, there was a time when presales was the shit, if you managed to get in on the presale level of a good project, you are made but those glory days are long gone, infact during the IEO era, if you managed to get into a presale, it is guaranteed that you would lose and lose big because IEO price would be lower with no lockup period. We just have to learn to adapt as things change
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid mistake newbies still do till date on: October 21, 2019, 09:13:46 PM
Even when I got into Cryptocurrencies newly, I knew the importance of private keys but the sad fact is that even people who are not newbies are still making that mistake until today, I have a friend who has been a crypto enthusiast for years and still lost a huge amount of crypto recently because he forgot to back up his new wallet.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO exchanges not required KYC on: October 21, 2019, 08:59:15 PM
I don't think it would be possible to participate in an IEO without doing the KYC because if they do it that way, many criminals would abuse it and money laundering is still an issue, all these things are why exchanges insist on the KYC and also to meet regulations.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quickest Way to Deploy a Blockchain on: October 21, 2019, 08:53:54 PM
Has anybody tried the NULS blockchain yet? I have been hearing a lot about it but I have not really tried it.
The prospect of building a blockchain platform without much work is attractive but it would be abused just like the ETH ERC-20 token has been abused.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bullrun time is the best time to trade on: August 25, 2019, 06:12:59 PM
Not really, in a time of bullrun you don't even need to trade, all you need to do is to identify a good coin that you are certain would do well and you buy it and hodl, I remember the 2017 bullrun, all coins were doing well and as long as you are holding a good coin, you would be making your steady profit, I remember the day I doubled my money in 2 days just by holding during the bullrun.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gigantic max supply is bad on: August 25, 2019, 06:06:41 PM
I love coins with large max supplies, I definitely prefer it to those with little max supplies especially in a bear market, when those with max supply wants to.dip, they do not go too far because their price is low to begin with but those with little supply whose price are high tend to disappoint so.much in the long run, anyways that's my personal opinion.
