221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NET]Netcoin Evolution - NOW WITH GRAVITY WELL! on: March 18, 2014, 04:23:36 AM
The reverse trend has started strong. Jumped from 250 to 266 in a matter of minutes. I dont have mch BTC but if you do this can easily get a lift to 500 in 24 hours.

Anyone know investors who may want to double their BTC in a few days?

BTC2 went from 2500 to 13000 Satoshi in a day.
SPA coin went from 0.004 to 0.001 in a day.
Crazy market! Im watching NET now getting ready to buy some like 0.5BTC if I see movement up.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HKC] [SHA-256] 香港 HongKong Coin - A revolution for the Hong Kong market. on: March 18, 2014, 03:50:07 AM
SHA 256? What is this 2009??? Dude move on with technology, its the NScrypt era, dont you get access to bitcointalk in HongKong? Maybe its censored?
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ASUS 280x coming back from RMA. Sell it or mine? on: March 18, 2014, 03:08:06 AM
You make $3 of one card at 700 kh? What are you mining??

My 2600 rig makes about $4 after 5 electricity.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MultiMiner Remoting & MobileMiner: Your rigs. Your coins. Your pools. Your way. on: March 17, 2014, 12:03:20 AM
This usually happens after the  "The AMD driver has crashed and successfully recovered" note. When I logged in remotely there was a Windows 8.1 message that the program has recovered from a crash and if I want to report it to microsoft. CGMiner runs fine by the way.

Logged in remotely how? Are you using RDP or VNC? GPU mining does not work via RDP and you will end up with very odd results as the full AMD driver will not load.

Edit: Try posting a screenshot or a video of the problem. That may help. The Start button is disabled if you don't have a valid configuration - e.g. no devices or your devices have no selected coin configuration or your configurations have no pools etc.

I log in via tightvnc. This problem is sporadic and there is no way to fix it other than many many reboots and basically it randomly starts again.

It just happened again after I shut the rig down, move the cards a bit to allow for air flow and BAM its gone weird again. Not starting. CGMiner works so this is a software glitch with bfgminer. Again if I knew how to delete the BIN files it would work I bet. CGMiner always works better when the delete *.bin is in the .bat file.

Dont know how the screen shot can be of any clue but here it is:
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese people are crazy to buy NET, netcoin. They think NET is the third coin. on: March 16, 2014, 11:41:45 PM
Seems like an agenda thread. Netcoin is coin is not number three, Dogecoin is, and in the future it looks like Nem will be number three.

Looks like the once 4000 Satoshi atlcoin is now prime to buy, I have been watching and now it has built up great support at 325 Satoshi, this could easily double from this point by the block halving. It was 500 Satoshi just a couple of days ago.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time for me to say goodbye? I have been hacked left right and center on: March 15, 2014, 08:42:17 PM
1. My blockchain got hacked 0.29 stolen

2. Today my Poloniex got hacked 0.12 btc stolen but not the other little coins.

3. I can't login to Cryptsy anymore and tried to get another password but it doesn't come to my email or junkmail so sent a support ticket.

4. Now I have been trying hard hatching coin 7 days a week from faucets, doing giveaways and blogging s am asking myself is it just time t say goodbye and give all this online stuff up? If I do I have no options and no hope ever to see my son again unless I win the lottery and phat chance of that happening. The last few years I have had setback after setback and tried so hard to lift my head up and fight and carry on but now I am getting to the point of just ending it all and give up.
Anyway i realize that there are ruthless people in this business and I don't know if I want to stay the course anymore.
Just hope some  miracle or inspiration comes my way to keep me motivated otherwise I will just quit as there comes a time in your life where you put your hands up and say that's enough.

First of all call suicide hotline.

Second, wipe your computer OS and install a new windows, you definitely have a key logger on your computer. It's not easy to get your password, even if it's password.

You probably clicked on a link and got a virus installed.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Im over it with Altcoins..... on: March 15, 2014, 07:43:37 PM
For me, NXT is the most promising alt out there. As a software developer, I like the idea that a 2nd generation alt has it's own blockchain. Kind of defeats the purpose otherwise.

Secondly, I like the fact that NXT has both a high and low level protocol to choose from when developing a client solution. Not only that, they are smack square in the centre of internet technology standards - http and JSON.

I would never dump NXT at this stage. It's probably at its most undervalued level it will ever be because we are on the verge of a wave of new services and client applications for those services.

Wasnt NXT just another scam coin, heavily premined by the Chinese??
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Im over it with Altcoins..... on: March 15, 2014, 07:40:52 PM

I just cant get over the amount of crapcoins being introduced every day, its enough to make me loose interest in the whole thing altogether.

Its actually the opposite. There is not enough coins to cover the new hash power coming into the mining market. Imagine you have 100 mines (altcoins), and 100x100 workers, so its ok each mine has 100 workers and they are doing fine.

Then you get bus loads of cheap labor coming in daily, buses full of cheap workers (ASIC) and new workers (all the 280x that is in stock everywhere now).

What happens? You have overcrowding at mines. The mine owners can star paying you less and less. They used to have to pay a worker 0.015 BTC/MH/Day now they can get away with HALF of that or even less at 0.006 BTC/MH/Day.

So whats next?

We need more mines (aka coins).

The biggest devistation was the DOGE bock halfing that poured thousands of workers out which atacked the rest of the coins and made them way less profitable.

My RIG used to make 0.033 BTC that was worth $33/day. Now its making 0.013 BTC worth barely $9 - $5 power = $4 So I am at the verge of shutting it down.

But good news is this. Summer time. Many people, including myself, cant afford the heat in the house.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Netcoin | Scrypt | **No Premine** on: March 14, 2014, 11:29:38 PM
What's happening with this coin. There are no ppl on forum, such low price. Are there any projects or some marketing stuff?

The coin is quietly and heavily being accumulated. The whales sold their way down and are not keeping the price low by buying all sell orders that come in and sell to those who bid higher and keep the price down. I see lots of buy orders go through so someone has been accumulating a lot of NET. I think the main reason is the block halving that is coming up in a few days.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The big VTC Vertcoin settings thread on: March 14, 2014, 10:00:15 PM
Hello Everyone!

Can someone please help me with the settings for a DUAL-X Sapphire 7970? I get 725 stable on Scrypt. On VTC I have not been able to go over 290. I suppose I should be able ot get at least 350kh/s right?

BTW, I also have a 6970 MSI Afterburner which gets a nice 500kh/s on Scrypt but only 30~40 on VTC is that because of the 2GB memory instead of 3GB?

One last question, have the gridseed devices been able to hash NScrypt yet? It seems like they have proliferated the regular Scrypt pushing the profitability to almost zero when electricity is considered so I am thinking about switching to NSCrypt. Hopefully there will be more coins out there soon.

Thanks!
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MultiMiner Remoting & MobileMiner: Your rigs. Your coins. Your pools. Your way. on: March 14, 2014, 07:14:05 PM
Hi nwoolls,

My Multiminer does not start. It takes so many restarts and reboots to finally get it going. The program opens but it wont start mining, any solutions? I see STOP and RESTART but Start is greyed out. Well, thats the button I need because it WONT START lol. IT reminds me of FORCE START on utorrent.

This usually happens after the  "The AMD driver has crashed and successfully recovered" note. When I logged in remotely there was a Windows 8.1 message that the program has recovered from a crash and if I want to report it to microsoft. CGMiner runs fine by the way.

I actually forgot how I got it going last time. Maybe shut down completely then reboot. Which is something I cant doo right now as I am not near the RIG Im connecting remotely. I cant believe there is a difference between cold boot and reboot. Why?

Thanks!!

P.S. In my cgminer days, I had a command in the .,bat file to delete all the BIN files before cgminer starts. This eliminated lots and lots of my issues that would carry over to the next time I would run CGMINER, ,for example CGMINER wouldnt recognize a card or call it sick, with BIN deleted it would start full force from scratch without remembering what happened before. I think your program (or bfgminer) needs something like that to "forget" all the issues from the previous run and start from scratch.

So frustrating to find out the RIG has done NOTHING in the past 4 hours and I cant even reboot it in the next 8 hours.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is up for an Altcoin Manipulation? on: March 14, 2014, 08:37:06 AM
This is a pump and dump, plain and simple. Don't be a idiot. brooklynite is going to buy coins before he announces, and then sell to all the stupid greedy sheeple that drive the price up when he says go. He is the only one that is going to make any money. Everyone else will lose.
This is probably the intention, but you are overestimating brooklynite's ability to keep a pump-and-dump cartel in line.

brooklynite is no fontas. Wink

OP: WWWD? (what would wolong do?)

WTF is woolong or fantos? a twitter account for a fat-a$$ internet junkie?
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is up for an Altcoin Manipulation? on: March 14, 2014, 08:36:22 AM
what you guys dont understand is if one person tries to cheat and load up ahead of time it wont work for two reasons: 1) The coin could change last minute, 2) while he is loading the coin price will go up as he is taking down the sell orders so that coin is no longer rip for manipulation.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is up for an Altcoin Manipulation? on: March 14, 2014, 07:16:01 AM
This is a pump and dump, plain and simple. Don't be a idiot and fall for it. brooklynite is going to buy the coins before he announces and then sell to all the stupid greedy sheeple that start buying when he says go. He is the only one that is going to make any money. Everyone else will lose.

spot on and its why I block pumpers.

I am replying to one this time so they don't sucker fools in, none of its good for the market, if you understand trading any pump without fundamentals always returns to normal.

There is no pump and no dump. Dump happens when someone is holding a ton of coins that is larger than the pumped up crowd. There is no such thing here and no one to dump large quantities. The coin will be selected from an old alt that is thinly traded. When the price starts rising rapidly, then you will see how the market swings and investors pour in. The selling of original investors will do little to sway this momentum.

The selected altcoin will remain high, and yes WITHOUT fundamentals, just like ALL ALTCOINS are based on what we pay for electricity and nothing else. THERE IS NO FUNDAMENTAL with alts.

I remember when DOGE went up to 35 Satoshi there were hundreds if not thousands like you who sold and called everyone an idiot to pay at these INFLATED prices. That was not a manipulation. When the altcoin is announces and bought you can stand on the sidelines and watch.

If you think there will be thousands of people losing money and I will be the only one making money, if you really think such a thing is even possible in an open market trade you are a complete idiot. But I dont think you think that way so you probably are not an idiot, just a negative soul and clueless of how stock trading works. So enjoy watching your DOGE's drop to 90 Satoshi in a week. The game on that is over.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is up for an Altcoin Manipulation? on: March 14, 2014, 06:26:36 AM
I own a significant percentage of over 40 different alts

Not sure what you mean by PERCENTAGE. Coins are sold by pieces not percentage.

And so  sorry to hear you have been losing a ton of money lately, most coins have lost over 50% of their value in one month alone. You should've converted to BTC a while back.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is up for an Altcoin Manipulation? on: March 14, 2014, 06:19:07 AM
Those who've watch me trade, know I never pump only dump on pumps. I've blocked alot of pumpers, if you pick a coin I hold (and I hold a few), your pump will fail.

Any decent trader monitors the market automatically and doesn't get caught off guard.

You can dump your coins at 10% profit, we will take it and sell it for 100% profit. You will RUN out of that coin to sell. Because you DONT KNOW what the coin is to accumulate it ahead of time. You CANT STOP it. Unless you own 10 BTC worth  of every single altcoin which Im sure you don't.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is up for an Altcoin Manipulation? on: March 14, 2014, 06:15:02 AM
I know of one such coin which everyone forgot but not yet dead - BBQCoin

The coin will be a secret until the time noted. There are many coins. The PATH up in BTC will be carefully selected based on those interested in the profit group.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is up for an Altcoin Manipulation? on: March 14, 2014, 06:14:10 AM
lol thats not how it works, the whales don't jump in on coins that are rising., they already own the coins and dump them on the rises.

Yeah whales are clever enough and they are not the vulnerable ones but you are.

You dont get it, WE ARE THE WHALES as a group.

Just like you get in a pool and split the profits. We are FORMING our own WHALE and moving a certain secret coin up and doubling its value in a flash and splitting our profits. The whales will be left out.

Once the coin gains 50% the whales WONT buy it thinking its already over valued. We know where its going and we all know when the selling starts. The whales dont. WE ARE THE WHALE. THIS WILL BE THE FIRST ORGANIZED GROUP MANIPULATION.

The coin selected will also be shed out of all its premined coins so nothing new. It will be an old coin.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is up for an Altcoin Manipulation? on: March 14, 2014, 06:11:12 AM
lol thats not how it works, the whales don't jump in on coins that are rising., they already own the coins and dump them on the rises.

The coins are carefully selected. These are coins that whales have forgotten about. The time spent on buying and rising the coins is so short they are caught offguard. They have NOTHING to DUMP.

I am an active stock market trader since 1999 (thats 15 years already? wow) so I know market manipulation. You can stay offline and just watch. Don regret not getting in.

The coin we pick wont be DOGE for example, that needs massive BTC to move. IT will be a coin that can double based on the number of people getting in our group.
