This is just getting ridiculous. Next thing we know, people will be calling kleeck a sock puppet. Just get over the fact that there are genuine investors here who believe in the company... Accepting that would shatter my faith in humankind. I refuse to believe that anything called "Homo Sapien Sapien" could be that stupid. As far as socks go, here: ... Kindly address myself as me and not 'you guys' and do not confuse me with anyone else on this thread...
ORLY? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ... Any chance the reCAPTCHA can be made accessible for humans? What a joke!
#ActiveMining
Don't do what I did though. My God, the reCAPTCHA is unbelievably hard if you are a human! Good luck buddie.
*The word you were looking for is "captcha," "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart" ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Fail! Of course, you're also a bunch of other accounts, but I'll start with the obvious. BTW, do you prefer fannybaws, zumzero or???

... You cannot - especially in this industry - measure someone's potential by what they have achieved in the past. ...
It's slightly better than measuring someone's potential by what they have *not* achieved in the past. Otherwise, Ken, having achieved exactly zilch*, would be the undisputed champ ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) *well, he did get ur monyz...

Discovered his limitations a bit late, huh? About half a year too late, from the looks of it ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) No it's a brand new project - 55nm full custom. no, metal - they are cyborgs. You quoted the wrong part, let me help again: ... Discovered his limitations a bit late, huh? About half a year too late, from the looks of it ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) And ... Did you mean: "proved their mettle"? Or "proved they're metal" ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Just trying to figure out what you're trying to say, since the first would be proven when the chips hash, and the second brings us back to moar Wizard of Oz quotes.

Please. Let's keep one foot in reality. The guy can't open his eyes for a publicity shot, can't write above grade-school level, and you think he'll hit the theoretical process efficiency? ROFL.
Reality is Ken has taken on 2 in-house engineers who have already proven their metal with a taped out 55nm with excellent specs. So get back into your chair. ... 0.2w/GH at 40nm... wow... let's hope Ken can get proportionally efficient chips at 28nm... 0.1w/gh should be possible if friedcat can get 0.2w/gh on a 40nm
It doesn't work like that. Bitfury's 55nm chips aren't half as efficient as today's 28nm chips. They're *more* power-efficient ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Yes because bitfurys chips have been designed better, hence my hope that ken can make the most of the power efficiency benefits of a smaller process and get down to the theoretical level of about 0.1w/gh Please. Let's keep one foot in reality. The guy can't open his eyes for a publicity shot, can't write above grade-school level, and you think he'll hit the theoretical process efficiency? ROFL.

... Orders are not yet being taken. Lets get back to this project once they actually start taking orders. They do not have enough funds from reading between the lines/do not wish to commit to funding production past batch 1. Further batches will arrive May or June - or probably beginning of Q3.
Orders are not yet being taken for the simple reason that friedcat is not willing to scam as hard as Ken. Ken sold pre-orders in his nonexistent 28nm chips like a boss. Not just chips, completed miners, lol.

... So.. How will Ken react to his biggest competitors latest update? What will he announce? We say he holds his cards to his chest due to the competition etc. Now its time to show the Royal flush.. if he has one.

Some hard news 4 Bob: ... Specification Process node: 40nm Package type: QFN64 8mmx8mm (with another option of QFN64 7mmx7mm possible) I/O: Standard SPI protocol with clk, in, out and cs. Rated Hashrate: 12.8GHash/s per chip, with a wide range of overclock/downclock options Rated Voltage: 0.72V, recommended voltage range is 0.55V-1V Power Consumption: 0.2J/GHash low voltage, 0.35J/GHash rated voltage ... Price range 0.49$/G-0.99$/G, depending on order size and delivery speed of choice. ...

re: friedcat 40nm
Thats not hard news - far from it. The opening disclaimer says specs and cost and delivery dates are subject to change. In other words this is a theorhetical chip. It hasn't been taped out and he has no funding to have is produced.
Keep bringing up the 'hard news'. lol Its far less substantial than Kens release from last week but lets ignore that shall we?
Compared to the promises made by Ken, friedcat at least bothers to spice his with numbers & stuff, so his shareholders don't have to constantly pick their sphincters for numbers to plug into their smartiferous maths. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) As i said in my post, "As far as promises go, I like Friedcat's better." The only thing you know about Ken's "theoretical chips" is the ones he has promised you in the past never materialized ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Happy trading!

D00d, using majestic plural to fleece suckers is fine - every pickpocket in this MMRPG does that. I'm not here to judge. I'm here to show you a handy trick -- the tilde test -- to help you cut down on typing.
It goes like this: If negating a term makes your statement nonsensical or absurd, the original term is unenlightening (redundant). I'll show you:
"Our prospectus was created over a long drawn out process that took many months of thoughtful consideration."
1. a long drawn-out process negated becomes: a short drawn-out process - nonsense. Scratch.
2. thoughtful consideration negated becomes: Thoughtless consideration - nonsense. Scratch.
We're already down to something more manageable, without losing any information:
"Our prospectus was created over a drawn out process that took many months of consideration."
Wait. That reads funny. Did we delete too much? No. We simply exposed another fuckup -- another shitpile of words to delete. Without losing a rat's fart of content. Observe:
"The prospectus took us months to write."
See? The meaning intact, less typing.
Some might argue the statement itself is bull -- the "we" stands for an out-of-work d00d from Florida, the "prospectus" is a forum post that was typed up over a slice and a can of Bud, etc., etc., but that doesn't bother me.

... The underwriting part was interesting, guess it means expanding into security exchange business, which they've already hinted here a few times. They might become the first fully legit Bitcoin stock exchange. If you recall during the Max Keiser show, the CFO of University of Cyprus talked about creating a Bitcoin security exchange in Cyprus, one that would be fully compliant. Cyprus as the Bitcoin financial center of the world or of Europe at least. Could be big. ... "We also made it known that we are actively working towards acquiring an active stake in a traditional licensed bank to reduce counter party [sic] risk." -Danny, reddit.
"...And, in order not to be victimized by meat packers, he bought controlling interest in an Indianapolis slaughterhouse. In order not to be victimized by steel suppliers, he bought controlling interest in a steel company in Pittsburgh. In order not to be victimized by coal suppliers, he bought controlling interest in several mines. In order not to be victimized by money lenders, he founded a bank.
And his paranoid reluctance to be a victim caused him to deal more and more in valuable papers, in stocks and bonds, and less and less in swords and pork. Small experiments with worthless papers convinced him that such papers could be sold effortlessly." -Eliot Rosewater

Are you ready to buy, or just typing inanities?

Yeah, when crumbs has opined that Ken is unlikely to do time, the situation was a bit rosier. I'm certain he would't make that ridiculous assertion now.

Sure, the bankers are criminals just like your d00d. They're simply better at what they do, and don't get pwnt. Crime, like everything else in life, must be done right to be successful. Your d00d was doing it wrong. Doesn't make him innocent, simply bad at what he does. Not sure what all the commotion is about.
The commotion is who decides what is a crime. I gather you miss the point, though i will accept yours as a matter of pragmatism. He was stupid, silk road was stupid, we would all be better off if the laws were changed and a large segment of the population of the world was decriminalized. Those who have the power to make laws get to decide what is a crime. Unsurprisingly, laws are skewed to benefit those in power.

There are many shareholders who want to have sensible discussions on here about their investment. So why don't you people make space for that?
I have faith that abovementioned benches belong to Ken. Everything else is pure conjecture and empty promises.
|
|
|
But the three benches are surely worth something? If the benches could be sold at a profit, the outlook becomes much more promising.
|
|

Why has Ken given us shareholders (for no outlay) the added potential of the custom 55nm chip when he had no obligation to do so under the terms of the IPO?
So, he needs to try his damnest to get you guys something because if this is declared a scam, he needed to report and pay taxes on $6-10M Largely absurd, speculative and incoherent. Not a convincing answer. ^^Self-referential statements aren't funny.
