228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a disadvantage in the publicity of cryptocurrency? on: August 31, 2018, 09:03:47 AM
There are many benefits not highlighted anywhere either in newspapers or the internet. Some of them gain importance because of local problems not discussed in public (though governments do it clandestinely, denying its citizens to gain in similar ways). some main benefits are:-
1.Better than the infamous Hawala Deals
2.An Exemplary Investment Tool like a SIP- Systematic Investment Plan
3.Decentralized means you are safe from any organization's poor show
 4.Safe International Transactions
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung is going to accept Bitcoin on: August 24, 2018, 04:52:59 AM
Aren’t they making a mining specific gpu? Samsung is leading the way ! Plus all Samsung phones since the Galaxy SIII have an ARM TEE processor. They installed them with the intention of providing a secure chip on smartphones to be used with banking services, only it never caught on with the banks. So instead, Ledger is developing the Trustlet app which uses this processor to turn your Samsung smart phone into a hardware wallet Wink
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF, what is it really? on: August 22, 2018, 10:49:41 AM
ETF’s and Bitcoin are a very useful tool to anyone’s portfolio. It allows people to enter market sectors that they see fit, but who also do not want to take the time to research a particular company within that sector.
Bitcoin is also invested in, but I would tend to think large banks and investment funds are not as interested in Bitcoin as they might be with ETF’s. Bitcoin is a reliable investment, but that does not mean it isn’t volatile, which some people stay away from. Bitcoin is invested by retail traders, which are people who trade for themselves.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when the price of Bitcoin falls below the cost of mining? on: August 15, 2018, 07:14:19 AM
Even if price keeps dropping, I'll keep buying because I think price will eventually rise again and see new highs. I'm prepared to wait years for the big turnaround. But for miners, aren't most of them about immediate gains?
Speaking in economic terms, why would someone (not motivated by the ideals of crypto-currency) mine something if its value is less than the cost to mine it. In the real world, be it real gold or drilling for oil, or other, if cost is greater than reward, a business does not invest in such things.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies on: July 31, 2018, 10:29:06 AM
I think it’s possible that the day will come when it is legitimately recognized as a store of value and can be used almost universally as a currency. Currency is nothing but a convenient way to store value/wealth And a convenient way to transfer it. You buy a pizza and you part with some of your currency/money in return. Some of that is used to pay rent, buy pizza dough, pay employees and produce a profit. Crytocurrency has not reach that point. That’s why the term “investing” in any cryptocurrency today is erroneous. You’re buying a mirage, a hope, just some hype. A time may come where cryptocurrency can legitimately be used as a trusted way to conduct business but that day hasn’t arrived. Trying to pick the winner is a crap shoot but the ultimate winner is usually not the first into the game. Witness Netscape and Google. With cryptocurrency you gambling. There will be some winners and a lot of losers.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people treat BTC as ponzi scheme? on: July 29, 2018, 11:51:04 AM
No, its not a ponzi scheme. Well,it matters from where you buy the bitcoins and whom you sell them to. Don’t forget bitcoins made millionaire overnight but those who believed in it. If you want to make profit from bitcoin then buy and forget it at least for 1 year. Buy when its low and sell when it go high. Remember one thing you should invest as much as you afford to loose.

You should have faith and patience then it’s not a big deal to make profit from bitcoins.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cannot be a global currency on: July 29, 2018, 11:27:07 AM
Bitcoin is quite often seen as an outsider in the world of finance, simply because it’s not issued nor controlled by a bank or government. But there are several downsides to the traditional monetary system as well, which was clear for everyone to see during the recent Greece debacle. Will the future lie in traditional finance, or is Bitcoin the solution everyone has been waiting for?
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we make bitcoin transaction refundable? on: July 29, 2018, 10:45:44 AM
No, once Bitcoin reaches 2-3 confirmations, this transaction can no way be reversed. It is settled. You can only get refunds if both parties agree and send a new transaction.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN = FUTURE on: July 29, 2018, 09:57:10 AM
 No body knows.

Don’t look for advice, investing its like life, every body has a different view and opinion. Learn more about trading. There’s a lot of videos in youtube that can help get out of the “buy and hold” mentality(You can only take advantage when the market is going up). Once you learn how to trade you will see every thing as oportunity, it doesn’t matter if its bitcoin, forex, stock, etc.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen if miners stop mining bitcoin? on: July 29, 2018, 09:07:07 AM
  Hello !
Theoretically, they could, yes ! But it’s not in there interest. When you mine Bitcoin, you create it for the Network, which means that you don’t have to pay for them. So, it’s a pretty sweet deal! And miners are part of the bitcoin community, they want it to prosper, so they will keep doing it.
There’s a limited of bitcoins that can be mined (21 millions over the years), but until this number is reached, miners will mine.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Mainstream In The Next 10 Years? on: July 29, 2018, 08:29:36 AM
I see the replacement of Bitcoin as inevitable.
The current market price is a reflection of BTC adopters who aren’t using the coin for anything but trading. Investors are inflating the price and a lot of common men and women are jumping on board seeing this as an opportunity to invest in the future of banking and wealth management. What I see happening with BTC when researching their internal politics, the state of the blockchain, and the upcoming proposals of hard-forks, soft-forks, and forced-forks, I’m not just betting on BTC crashing. I’m anticipating the evaporation of the crypto-giant entirely.
239  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin technology has been obsolete, why bitcoin prices still expensive? on: July 29, 2018, 07:29:20 AM
If you think a replacement coin can come along for Bitcoin then why can't that coin itself be replaced?
Some things will probably be replaced but other things will be long lived standards. I hope development of Bitcoin focuses on becoming a standard and less on features that can be replaced
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to make bitcoin a popular payment method? on: July 29, 2018, 06:23:18 AM
Bitcoin is the brand, the name, the future. It will always be a store of value, very limited supply and it tradable against all other coins on exchanges. So it will continue to grow in value.

Bitcoin Cash on the other hand, has faster transactions, lower fees and is more likely to be adopted for day to day use. As it is partnered officially with Bitcoin it will continue to grow in popularity.
