I'd like to see an official statement from them, I consider this coin too shady to invest atm. You're years outdated at this point. Check out twitter.com/Viacoin. This is FUD. If you claim there's a 98% premine, back this up with evidence. And I didn't reply because most were just speculating about the Viacoin price. Groestlcoin is the most undervalued coin on Bittrex. I'm sure volume will pick up. I like their work. Bought 2 BTC as gamble ($2.x K) at 0.000016 saying to the GRS dev "Yeah pretty sure you guys are gonna make me $10k" with 0.00005 in mind. Not sure but it hit 0.0000498 or something if I remember. Well Bitcoin pumped too. But in all seriousness, I can see it go above 0.00005. Their work will be noticed. I also met 1 of the devs in real life couple monhts ago. I trust them. (Yeah I'm the Viacoin developer) jackielove4u is gonna call me crazy but maybe 0.0001 is a nice target and I would still think it's undervalued  It's a bit above 0.00005 now  |

You might have to mention that it's still a beta wallet. Only install it if you are a skilled MacOS user. |

It's syncing! Help, debug, command line. type in getinfo that should give you the right block count. The new wallet will be released soon. In other words, yes your wallet is syncing. It's a coin of 2014 so it has a lot of blocks. If you use Mac OSx, less people are able to help you with that meme OS. |

The hardest part of all this I've found is still the link between digital currency Exchanges and the legacy banking system, three banks have arbitrarily closed down my accounts in the last year, one that I'd been banking with for over forty years, though I never did any virtual currency stuff through some of them so I don't know for sure why that was, but I finally found a way to safely move funds to fiat that was also acceptable to the system in place currently, at least so far, touch wood.

I messaged Wang Chung (F2Pool) on Monday, tuesday and today. He still didn't reply to me. Got some help from Wheelz to setup a merged mining pool ourself (for now no bug.) If F2pool doesn't reply back I hope to get help from another pool to test with to be extra sure. Last resort will be UASF if F2pool doesn't reply back. I can imagine he is busy lately with Bitcoin UASF. |

Hi, I am new to VIA and very much interested in this coin. Infact I am new to the Cryptoworld. So I am sorry for asking this lame question. After I generate a paper wallet from https://viacoin.github.io/address-generator/where can I check the balance. I could not find an answer from google. And if possible could someone please explain how to load VIA coins from paper wallet to an exchange wallet or an online wallet? Appreciate your help, Thank you... You should use the Viacoin Core wallet or Electrum. I do recommend the Core wallet always over Electrum. Since the core wallet is truly decentralized. |
