yes you are right and i think most investors have done it this way. we can use altcoin for short-term investments and bitcoin for long-term investments. and I think now is the right time to buy the top altcoin because since bitcoin has increased most of the altcoins have also experienced an increase and it's been two weeks the altcoin market has gone green again.
These massive spikes make me think we starting altseason. But you just knewer know what you can expect around corned in crypto. |

For now, I observe the price of bitcoin and I see it continue slowly and that was good sign to invest. I don't believe on altcoins now and I suggest that it is better for now to hold your bitcoin because if everyone do hold we can gain profit soon.
Its really hard to guess what is the right time to invest, was trying to catch moment from march 2019. Finally saw opportunity, hope i got bulls-eye ...ha. Always wanted to get in start in bullmarket, currently so far so good. Its so unpredictable can roll over any minute. |

Finally i have made a decision to do this experiment generating more Bitcoins by buying shitcoins .
Good old saying be greedy when other fearfully.... Ha Based on your list, they are not shitcoin, they are legit altcoins and I am happy that there are still investors who are trusting altcoins to generate profit for them. Let's admit that altcoins investors are slowly dumping their altcoins due to the fact that it dropped 90% or less form its peak price, but the market would certainly rebound and if we are talking about market, it's the market for all, not only bitcoin. |

If this was about generating more dollars I would say this could actually be a great experiment. However I am 90% doubting it will generate more bitcoins.
What you are forgetting is that even tho dollar loses it is value and altcoins gain value in dollar terms, bitcoin also gains value in dollar terms as well so it is harder to make more money in bitcoin valuation. Could it happen? Sure it could, that is why it is an experiment to begin with and we will see the results by the end of 2020 and see if it worked or not, however I would say you should follow up with how much dollars you can make as well, that way we can see that even if it doesn't make profit in bitcoin terms, it could potentially make money in dollar terms and that could be a little hope for the people.

 We are not even in a bull market yet. Usually these things happen when there is a lot of hype. ZigmaBit is scammer company with fake mining rigs to basically scam you. Their selling website is https://zigmabit.com/ , please don't even click the link. We do not want to give them any traffic, just watch the video down below. They have listed 3 miners on their website: ZigBit 2.0 ZigBit 3.0 ZigBit 5.0  Which of course doesn't exist. They recommend that these miners will make some crazy gains, which of course will not happen. As these miners are fake. Seeing the specification makes me think these guys know very little about crypto currency mining. So for example the specification they are advertising on ZigBit 5.0 is : Bitcoin-2000 TH/s Litecoin-300 GH/s Ethereum-75 GH/s Dash-50 TH/s Power Consumption-2400W Power Socket 110V-240V Now you understand what im talking about, seriously 2000 TH/s mining Bitcoin at 2400w (where the latest Antminer S17 is 72Th/s), or mining ETH and the profit is so big that it will cover the miner cost faster then month. And another thing, they using the same hardware to mine multiple currencies which every one of them needs different hardware. Worst thing is that people will loose money, and most likely some of them already did. People think they will get rich after buying this miner, which they will never receive. Their fake products look so bad, their cheapest version ZiBit 2.0 looks like an ATX power supply.  Few things to also note is : They have support chat on their website. I did send them a message and got response after about 20 minutes. So they told me that they only accept crypto currency, and the products are shipped from United Kingdom. My last line of the chat was "im coming for you you'll be in jail soon ". When you google miner name, there is few websites coming up describing how great is their product. This most likely is owned websites for this scammer or this is purchased content posts. Last thing is that i tired to do checkout on one miner, there is btc address which has already received 7btc. 1. Those that have POS
2. Those that most of the coins are still unlocked
3. Those that have no real development in the past months
Looking at the list I can only picked BAT, if the platform continue to grow then it should do well

This is not a good way at the moment, the current market is focused on bitcoin. Investors are currently selling all altcoins to move to bitcoin, and if you buy altcoin at this point, you will definitely lose if you convert it to BTC afterther. This method is only suitable for altcoin season and currently the altcoin season has not yet appeared and every is still going down every day.

Altcoins are good for old projects and are in Coinmarketcap Top Rank. Yet I still doubt a lot of new altcoins are garbage dah does not mean all rubbish only partially become shitcoins. For short-term may be suitable if we stick to the altcoin according to their season. But for the long haul, I feel more at risk if at the time the project dies without cause.
To invest in the long run it is better to invest in the highest altcoin or in bitcoin than in new coins which can be said for now many new coins that slowly have no value and disappear and eventually only become junk in the wallet. At the moment I personally have less interest in investing in new coins, although there may be some good coins, but I prefer to invest in the top coins. Bitcoin is the daddy. |

For new people it is better to start with the amount they can afford to lose. Actually this also applies to people who are not new even to continue to invest with the amount they feel they can bear the losses and can cover these losses slowly. And it is true that for the current project choice, we should pay more attention to how the developer updates and activates the project that is delivered.
Yes this research has to be long-term, and only use what you do not need in next few moth/years. As Crypto is still very speculative/volatile even for working products. one day it could be 20% up next day 30% down. In long term i see a lot of use in many projects. You only loose money when you sell at loos. But history has proven when BTC bubble, alts bubble twice as big. |

Litecoin has surged in prices at over 18% in 14 days,
It was 38$ around January 1st, 2020

You are right, lookalike the crypto market is still dependent on Bitcoin. If this increase all other altcoins loud their sounds, if BTC drops they massively fall down. I personally feel that Tron will be a good investment for 2020.

This method will work in bull market, but not in the market where we are now. When Bitcoin falls, altcoin fall more. When Bitcoin grows, altcoin grow more. And this is the reason why this strategy could work and will cumulate you more Bitcoins.

The problem is, the vast majority of cryptocurrency investors have little to no understanding of market dynamics, nor what constitutes a good versus a bad investment.
Because of this, inexperienced investors could easily be lulled into investing in a low-cap sh*tcoin just because it apparently has a good concept, despite there being no development or spine to the project.
As such, I would actually recommend that newbie investors don't take their financial matters into their own hands. If you're not experienced, don't enter a game where experience is key—it's as simple as that.
With that said, I recommend that new, inexperienced or trigger-happy traders look for an experience crypto finance manager, who can help grow your portfolio without doing the work.

So basically my plan was to buy some alt-coins with Bitcoin and in that way generate more Bitcoins. I have made this decision because most of the alt-coins has reached lowest points against BTC in my opinion. And proving by history they usually bounce of it. Another big reason is that Bitcoin halving is due in May 2020. This could spike up Bitcoin price and alt-coins could possible dragged with it. I cannot guarantee i will succeed but i will do an update every month or quarter on YouTube channel how am im doing with this chosen portfolio. I have a good feeling i will succeed, as i am not Bitcoin maximal and shit-coin minimalist. I am quite good at recognizing innovation. Few of my purchased coins potentially could do much better then Bitcoin price in nearest future.  So the plan is to spend 2 BTC and buy 10 alt-coins. 0.2 Bitcoin each alt-coin. Basic attention token ( BAT) - is solving Advertisers and Content creators as myself problem ,what we have currently. For example Google collects about 40-50% add revenue from YouTube adds. Basic attention token ( BAT) solves this issue with their Brave browser. Brave browser allows you to tip your favorite content creators and block companies which collects your privacy data. So how does it work , Advertiser purchases advertisement with BAT tokens which goes to users and content creators. You actually are getting paid to watch adds. So it disables the middle man like google in this case who is taking 50% cut. Technically if Brave browser platform grows, price should increase. Monero - Monero is a privacy coin. I do believe that privacy coins will be very demanded in future. As block-chains are getting bigger and bigger adoption, eventually governments will crack down on them. And will develop software which will allow them to trace and get user privacy data. This could happen already this year, as recent statements from EU leaders are they need more regulation on Crypto and block-chain. Monero is one of the oldest privacy coin out there. And these events around possibly could spike up Monero price. I don't want to hype it to much, but privacy was one of the main feature why Bitcoin was invented. Neo - neo is 3rd generation blockchain similar as Ethereum. Neo comes out of China, which is one of the main reasons why im choosing this smart contract platform. Recent statement from Chinese president Xi Jinping that they have to adopt block-chain technology in their country. This statement made me very bullish on NEO. 3rd generation block-chain platforms really will kick of in 2020, just because the possibilities can be developed on them. I don't really think yet we have figured out what can be deployed on these platforms. We can see that as time goes by, new things are been figured out like DeFi, games, fundraising and many more. Also the price on NEO has drooped about 20x since all time high. And recent volume has been growing on NEO platform. So fingers cross, Neo going to bring us honey. GitHub, is there any active development on their platform. Also is there any fundamentals and working product behind it. These are the main reasons i have picked these coins for my challenge. Cards are Radeon VII, those makes around 88-90MH when stock and more than 95-96MH with OC, could be pushed around 100MH, but I think safe and stable are at 1100MHz Mem and 1900MHz GPU, for 95 to 97MH for 260-290Watts consumption. https://postimg.cc/HjkmpkbtMore efficient are Radeon 5700XT with under 100Watts consumption for around 51MH, but more cards needed.
