Beta 4 was released a few days ago. That was one of the first things I tried. Thank for the thought though. What does everyone else do with quad fire setups?Huh
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just got "account claim rejected" from Mt Gox - anyone else? on: June 24, 2011, 06:31:27 AM
My claim was accepted. I have > $100.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt Gox opens in less that 5 hours. Anyone gotten a "Recovery Success" email? on: June 24, 2011, 01:09:34 AM
18:05PM GMT on 6/21 = no effin emails yet... never been so frustrated

You don't really need it until right before the open:
Between now and tomorrow at 3:00 GMT you should receive an email with instructions on how to access your account, provided you have successfully completed the reclaim process at claim.mtgox.com.
Disagree... I should have never lost access to my funds. They also missed the 48 hour deadline they set.  Apparently once you reclaim you are able to move funds, just not trade.

I think you guys got smoked.  Wait 24 hrs to send the BTC?? also paypal has a pretty strict policy against virtual currency (why mtgox had to stop accepting paypal). I would file a claim with paypal asap!

I think the stats are super broken today.  Hopefully they broke because we hit big back to back to back!!!
227  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTC Guild - 0% Fees, Long polling, SSL, JSON API, and more [~2500 gH/sec] on: June 23, 2011, 03:42:23 PM
Looks like there is a problem with the last block!!!! https://www.btcguild.com/block_inspect.php?block=989

It looks like it doubled everyones shares or split them in half and only the first line is what flows through to the earned column on the pool block history thus it looks like everyone is only going to pay out half.

I kinda like the stats doing this sometimes. It's kinda like Christmas morning, You not real sure what your gonna get when the stats update.
It could be a couple of 3 blocks or a crapload of sub 10 minute blocks  Grin. Kinda ads some excitement to an otherwise boring mining career.

I can see your point here with the xmas morning. Although when I woke up and saw what my 'Generated in the last 24 hours' was, I thought all of my machines when down shortly after I went to bed. Had a minor panic attack until I realized what was going on.

ccc allows you to set a constant speed ?
Pretty sure I was able to set a constant fan %. Could be wrong though. I gave up on CCC pretty quickly.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: (BOUNTY: 1BTC & Dirt3 Game) Get Afterburner or Similar running on quadfire on: June 23, 2011, 01:55:44 PM
I was having problems with it not starting right. So GUIminer would start mining and before I knew it the temps would be through the roof. Maybe I will have to go back to see if I can get CCC to be more reliable since I am striking out with everything else.  Wish someone had a way to get afterburner working, I loved the monitoring functionality and putting the temps in the tray.

Thanks for the heads up and the quick fix, Maybe one morning you'll get to get up to everything running smooth... Wink

Doubtful! Have you seen how fast this thing has grown.  It will be months before he gets a good nights sleep.

ohh fearless leader, can you provide an update to ease everyones mind. It looks like the pool is still mining and has found a few blocks in the last 8 hours eventhough it says out current round time is 8+ hrs. Just hope nothing is lost and you are able to post our coins to our account.

took the 4th card out and Trixx saw the other three...  this fourth card is starting to piss me off...
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: (BOUNTY: 1BTC & Dirt3 Game) Get Afterburner or Similar running on quadfire on: June 23, 2011, 12:37:02 PM
Just tried trixx and everything started fine, no errors. But it looks like trixx is only seeing my 4th card. Can only control the fan on the 4th card and based on my mining speed it is only OCing the 4th one too. I have tried the two latest versions of it. Any ideas?

Does Riva work with ATI cards? Does Trixx work even if I don't have sapphire cards (I have xfx and his)?
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: (BOUNTY: 1BTC & Dirt3 Game) Get Afterburner or Similar running on quadfire on: June 23, 2011, 04:05:01 AM
Still nothing.  Followed your instructions with the driver sweeper in safemode. Installed the caps. still getting the same error. Anyone have any other programs they are using to control overclocking and fan speed for 4 cards? There has to be someone that has done it...
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: (BOUNTY: 1BTC & Dirt3 Game) Get Afterburner or Similar running on quadfire on: June 23, 2011, 03:44:42 AM
What is caps?
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: (BOUNTY: 1BTC & Dirt3 Game) Get Afterburner or Similar running on quadfire on: June 23, 2011, 03:29:59 AM
Same problem happened to me:

1-First check that Device manager show all 4 cards without any messages listed (pretty important, because it confirms whether the hardware is properly installed/if at all and seen correctly by windows)

2.Go to control panel and uninstall all the listings for AMD/ATI. Then:

Search for this 4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318 in reg edit. Delete the the whole folder, it will fail but instead delete all the listings underneath, which is what we want.

3. Reboot. The system might/fail loading windows while it installs the default drivers. Once you're running the default drivers install 11.5b or 11.6, reboot. Instal caps 5.

This should get rid of your problem. If this solves your problem i really hope you send me the bounty  Grin

I tried this based on the forum post at overclock.net.  Just made windows hang on the reboot... If you can eleaborate a bit more on these instructions, maybe that would help.

If anyone can get MSI Afterburner running with 4 cards, I will send 1 BTC & code for download of Dirt3 game I got bundled with one of my cards...

Three cards works just fine. Afterburner starts right up. Once I put the 4th card in, I get "Failed to initilize display driver wrapper!" All 4 cards show up in device manager and GUIMiner. Just need Afterburner to control the speed and fans now.

MSI 890FXA-GD70
Sempron
2GB Ram
4x xfx6870

Once I have a solution that works, I will promptly send over a BTC and PM you with the download code for Dirt3.

Let me know if you need any more details from me.
Thanks,
Mike
