NODE aka NXTL is written from Scratch using Node.JS - Not a FORK of NXT - Brand new Coin!
THIS IS THE PUPPET REMOVAL COMPLAIN THREAD This is the place where:○ You can submit a complaint! ○ Your complaint will be examined by the NODE COMMITTEE ○ You Will get a decision, about the associated accounts!
To speed things up, the committee will have access to a google Spreadsheet & Document! The spreadsheet will be available to the community for everyone to view the results! And the document will be available only to the committee, to protect the integrity and privacy of our members. The Document will contain all the proof and comments regarding the associated accounts! After verifying the provided info, the committee members will: Sustain or Reject the accusation! The votes will be counted and the majority and the decision will be marked by the majority!
The process ○ A complaint can be submitted either by posting in this thread your explanation of why you were wrong accused, the giving situation that made you create more accounts, or intention that was misunderstood! Also don't mind to attach useful info, that the Committee can find useful in the decisional process! ○ Also if you prefer you can pm us, if you wan't to keep your situation private! ○ The Complaint will be registered under a CASE #! Which will be included in to the spreadsheet, for the committee to examine! ○ You will be able to verify the outcome of your case in the public spreadsheet link - Committee interaction with the case: ○ The members will have access to a document that will contain: Proof of association mainly by IP, your case request, and access to the Log Server to verify and validate the proof. Also they will access this thread and any other information, that will prove your value to the community, like interaction, activity, etc. ○ They will form an opinion and vote according to it! It is not secret anymore that our team used the IP Log in order to spot the puppets! But as we stated this method isn't 100% sure to identify them! It will highlight the associated accounts by IP, but not the relationship between them! It is the same thing as sending a payment from one wallet! But at the same time it spotted a multitude of associated accounts by IP! As an example there was a Chinese user that created 45 puppets, using the same IP address! But until we showed him that, he stated that the accusation was a lie! Situation witch the committee will decide: - The Common Tor Idea - Even if you used tor to hide your presence, don't forget about the LOG! If you have multiple accounts and you logged into all of them consecutively, you will be treated as a puppet master! Just one situation for example, the same things refers to VPN! - Relationship between accounts - declaring that this or those accounts were made for my friends/colleagues/family will be decided by the committee depending of your value to the committee. But as a reference i think that the community will give favor for those that have 1,2 associated accounts! That will be it for the moment! If you guys have any ideas on how to make this method better, or to add your 2 cents, don't hesitate to post it in the thread! Most of the detected socks will simply accept their fate especially if they are blatant socks and the evidence is against them. If there are exceptions where a user can show they are not a sock, they just have to present their case and the community can decide.
What else can we do that is both fair and protects the integrity of Node? This is the best approach to take.
I'm very much for eliminating socks but the problem here is that sometimes there is no real evidence. "experimental calculation", "the secret method". That for me doesn't count as real evidence unless it's abundantly clear how it was generated. Some socks are obvious, others aren't. How is anyone to argue against a secret method ? It is secret! The thing is that we know! And can proof it! But we won't go out loud on the forum! Cause it contains sensitive information! Thus why we will push the committee build up! We will show the proof only to them and they will convey the final word! If only that will be necessary! At the moment there is no arguing necessary, especially for those that are in the safe zone! The thing is that the more we are arguing on this behalf the more time we loose! Time that could be spend for more important issues! If someone has anything to hide, they will make everything possible that it remains hidden! But what i desire, is that those that have puppets, to pm us and confess! I don't want as much as you, to argue in vain and try to point out the obvious! We know the reason why you made a puppet! May I ask what exactly that method is and how you come to such exact percentages ? As a bystander, the NODE team is short of profession and making a self-traping! Anyway, you should respect your investors, otherwise no one trust you! I don't agree! And we do respect our Members! If we din't we wouldn't make it this far!

May I ask what exactly that method is and how you come to such exact percentages ? Trough experimental calculation, more precisely we made fake accounts mimicking the behavior of a puppet master. We created a total amount of 20 puppets, and identified 19 solo trough the secret method! That is 95%! Added an additional 3% chance of finding an associated account trough subjective ways of identification & access to the NEM puppet identification thread xD! |

3) I donot think koop4u's screening way is good: you cannot make a judge just with your intuition or vague indications(like similar name) and without any directive proof!
4) koop4u: What you are doing is hurting the NODE communities' faith in your executive ability and reputation.

I really didn't want to get into this whole thing, but seriously? Rockhill used " donot" twice in his last few posts. I remember, because I found it unusual. He wanted to report to " BTT monitor", he was worried about his reputation, and wanted his stake returned. That is pointless. I use "donot" too! @koop4u Can I buy some NODE puppet stakes? Sorry, but we are only identifying the puppets! The community will decide what we should do with them after the elimination! |

We stated that our method of identification is 98% accurate leaving for an error margin of 2%! The highlighted members are those that are considered puppets with 98% accuracy! If you by chance got into those 2%! Don't panic, and don't be offended! Our goal is to clear the coin of potential usurpers that will eventually drag the coin down, if not eliminated!
But there is also the thing with relatives/friends/family! This kinda situations will be handled by the committee! If for example you have one puppet, the committee will decide if you will be useful for the community, a if that extra stake will harm the coin! But if it was identified that you are associated with 3-5-7 puppets, the answer might be not to your favor. It will be totally up to the committee members!

If you guys have any other proposals who will be a good judge, or if someone is willing don't hesitate to post it in the thread!
How this will work out your asking:
The devs will act as the offenders
The Committee as judges
And you as the defensive side!
The process:
A thread for complains will be created: where you will be able to point out your complain!
1) The devs will provide proof to the committee, that the accused is guilty!
2) The member will have the right to defend himself, and to bring proof that he is not guilty!
3) The committee will decide trough open vote, if the accused is guilty!
Just like in a real trial!
If you ask why is the committee even necessary! Because they will review sensitive information provided by the dev team, which doesn't belong on the public!
Also there is another way to deal with the matter peacefully! Pm us and we will get by this situation without making a fuss!
We don't have a black list, and you will loose only the puppets, your main account will be kept! And we will have no grudges agains you!
