Relax. This is a real deal project of massive complexity, with large amounts of legal and regulatory red tape to wade through. It could be another year before this thing properly launches. Pretty sure it will all be worth the wait. Thanks Sock, Yes we are the real deal and it will be worth the wait however it won't be another year. The crypto space is heating up. It has recently jumped from 100 to 600 bitcoin gaming sites so we need to strike while the iron is hot. And no, we are not just another bitcoin site. http://www.perkinscoie.com/en/index.htmlhas joined the Breakout team targeting additional funding meanwhile we are in high gear in development moving towards launch! Can I get an Amen?

Unofficial Timeline (from Nov 24th email, info may be very stale): Jan 4 - Demo Game Preview for CES Show Jan 21 - Launch Demo and preview open to public Feb 21 - March 21 - Second Coin Sale March 21 - Launch of First Product (Fantasy Sports) April 25 - Launch Poker and Casino Products Cheers Are you actually planing to have a booth at the CES Show in Las Vegas ? IMO, that will be a waste of resources, given the huge number of other exhibitors... I just don't want your efforts to go unnoticed. Unless there's a dedicated area at the Vegas CES Show to Fantasy Sports or Poker where Breakout Gaming would really stick out and be noticed among other gaming companies, then exhibiting would make perfect sense. I 100% agree. We won't have a booth at CES. There's going to be a lot of media there and we're trying to get a demo ready to show some print publications with the help of Michael Terpin's and his PR company ( http://transform.pr/) who is working with us. With developers taking time off over the holidays, it's going to be tight but hopefully we'll be able to at least have poker and casino products to show to publication representatives.

Breakout Gaming will be be accepting BROs and fiat
Can you deposit BRO and withdraw FIAT? I hope not. I don't want to see BreakoutGaming turn into an exchange. They should leave Fiat withdraw headaches to exchanges like Coinbase & Circle. There are 3rd party payment processors that will accept credit cards, neteller, skrill, or whatever the player prefers. A player that knows nothing about cryptocurrency can buy in like any other real money gaming site and not even care that the chips he purchased are denominated in BRO (100 BRO chips = 1 BRO). We will then take that cash and buy BRO at the market price so that all chips in play are always backed by BRO 100%. No fractional reserve here. Other than withdrawing into a credit card being capped at what you deposited, how you withdraw your balance will only be limited by the payment processors. For the most part, withdrawing into your skrill, wire, or neteller should be fine. (Complete payment processor list yet to be finalized).

Hey BRO community, I'd like to get some feedback on the Pro poker table designs. This table is geared for those that aren't interested in frills but play long sessions or multi-tables. Here they are for the instant and downloadable: For mobile: We've also updated the table at the pool to replace the opaque felt and improved the fantasy sports interface: Mobile:

Hello BRO community, After the close of the 1st phase of the coin sale, I realize that there has been a lack of updates. I think most of us wanted to wait until we can show you something solid but after catching up on the thread, I think that was a mistake and we need to keep everyone informed regularly. Our first priority is to prepare a preview demo of the gaming software that media representatives and early BRO adopters can test first hand. The team is in high gear to make this happen in a short timeline. We will soon after make this available to the general public to beta test before we open the BRO coin sale part deux. Now that's probably where I should stop but I'm going to add a quick bullet point synopsis of what the Breakout Gaming team is working on. I should insert a disclaimer here saying that none of the following items are promises but simply works in progress... but the lawyers are on holiday so here we go. - Finishing up poker table designs for mobile, desktop client, and flash based instant play. Specifically improving the design of our PRO table for multi-tabling and making it easy on the eyes for long grinding sessions. - Talking to 3rd party companies to potentially increase our casino gaming offerings up to 200 games. Looking at the feasibility of adding lottery, bingo, scratch offs, jackpot slots, live dealer games - Working with our PR company to get into major print publications and present our gaming demo for them to test - Setting up server hosting and setup for launch - Setting up affiliate and mlm infrastructure - Meeting with interested VC investors - Setting up Agent codes for 2nd wave of Pro Player brand ambassadors - Eliminating various display and user flow issues from internal testing More specific updates with screenshots and naming names to come!

That's the man Panda. We are so lucky to have him on board. He amazes me every day with the depth of his knowledge about gaming. On top of that he's very easy going and outright humble. If he wasn't Canadian he'd be perfect lol For those you are adverse to vimeo, here's the youtube version of the poker demo: http://youtu.be/40ljV33adSoKeep in mind that this is a rough functional demo and the final will be much more polished looking.

That title is just an attention grabber. Appropriate choice of words is "rollercoaster ride"... Hopefully the next ride will be on a bullet train... -tb- Very true Techbytes. It's common for writer's to submit an article and the editor tags on an attention grabbing headline.

The members of this community will get the first chance to beta test any product when available.
That's awesome, I think you'll be able to get some very valuable feedback from the community and it's always good to do some testing before you release something like this to the wolves. BRO is growing into a great community that I'm proud to be a part of and it will be even better when we are testing/playing together on the gaming platforms during beta testing phases. When do we actually get the coins??
All BRO coins will be released once the remaining are sold at the 2nd phase of the coin sale. As stated before, the price of BRO will be higher and games will be available for live testing.

I will probably still be a customer but at current rates i wont be an investor.
You can make some of the people happy all the time, but you can never make all the people happy. I bought in as early as possible, so I'm happy. You didn't buy in early, so you aren't happy. The early bird gets the worm and the same goes for investments. That's the way the world works. You knew about this structure when you posted on October 30th, when you could have bought in at 6k. Jake always calls it as he sees it

Imho, Barabbas came on a bit strong in his inimitable style as he first joined our community but quickly became a big supporter. As we value constructive criticism and we made what I view as huge improvements to the Coin Sale based on community input, I view Barabbas as an ally that wishes the best for the BRO project even if we don't always agree on the best course of action. The concept, the fundamentals, the TEAM, are amazing. Let's light this baby up!

WARNING: Do not purchase BRO if you are not an expert in crypto tokens or currency and blockchain technology.
I don't consider myself an expert in any of those subjects but I went ahead and purchased anyway. I hope I'll be ok. It's all relative. I would consider you an expert and the same for anyone else that's been on this forum since last year. You may or may not be a coder, but I don't think that's a requirement to be considered an expert. I'm sure you have downloaded your fair share of stand-alone wallets and maybe even had to do your own trouble shooting to get it syncing. I'm sure you mined or purchased many different crypto coins/tokens, ICOs on many different exchanges. You probably have a strong understanding of what a blockchain is and how to read a block explorer. You are familiar with github, algos, and features that differentiate coins from one another. You clearly understand many things about crypto and it's technology that people that don't frequent these forums would ever understand. You may not be an expert compared to Vitalik Buterin, Dan Larimer, or Jay Berg , but from an investors perspective, you certainly are. Just my 2 BROs Brah. Idea for a charity fund raiser poker tournament: Breast Cancer. "BROs for Bras". I'm not making joke as I would never do that about something so serious. Just like they have "Save the Tatas". Breast Cancer is a great cause and tournaments with a portion going to charity is a great idea. I wonder why we don't see more of this online.
