It seems like the market maker(s) is still at it trying to eat all these day traders and suckers lol but he have slowed a bit for the last few days. There is also less coins on the sell side at Poloniex. This sounds good. Btw, I really hope you guys have moved your precious Blackcoins away of exchanges and to your wallet to stake With crypto, there are always ups and downs... those with patience that hold to their coins will get rewarded, big time! Hell, just think about how many alt coins went into a lethargy phase for many months (trading speaking) to suddenly Boom! into space! interesting week for Blackcoin on the exchanges less buy support, combined with day-traders without patience dumping (the buy high/sell low type of traders). Believers will hold tight (staking like mofos) , while MM will increase sell pressure. the pre-pump pattern continue....   |

Strategy to make the weak hands sell has started : that sell wall, the replies made to remove hope ( the "oh its not fud, it's the reality" - style of replies).
It will take patience and nerves of steel during this phase, but sooner or later, this hq tech will get its right valuation.

Polo has quite the sell wall , 75btc at 0.0023900. The price has been going down steadily ever since the release of the pos wallet. I guess it makes it easier for everyone to stake and sell off. I guess not that many people have too much faith in the future and are holding their coins.
...and do you think this 75 btc sell wall (put under 250k sats!) looks "natural" to you? |

I have few questions that I have a hard time to find answers to.
1. what is the current PoS interest % like?
2. what is the minimum-age before staking start?
3. in your experiences, is it better to stake your DCR coins directly in your wallet (like the usual PoS altcoins) or to use a staking pool?
I would say that I'm totally lost when I hear terms like "tickets" associated with PoS. I know that Decred PoS system is different than others alts, but I just want to move my coins out of exchanges and stake them. I find the informations about staking a bit complicated for non-nerds.

You know with a bit of reading you would easily find that the Blackcoin core dev Rat4 is still actively working on the code (last commit just few days ago, check the coin github repo), also there is Janko33 currently developing a staking mobile wallet and he was giving us news about it just few days ago right here in this thread. This place (bct) is filled with day traders, greedy profit suckers and trolls. In less than 2 minutes you can join the Blackcoin Slack channel and get much more information in a friendly environment. I would recommend every one that is seriously interested in Blackcoin, the team, the current development and future projects, to consider using Slack. Cheers! Ok, thanks ! Is BlackCoin used for something other than pumps and dumps? Wasn't the staking wallet supposed to be done years ago? Seems like abandonware at this point. any news about the forthcoming staking mobile wallet ??  The only thing I have heard recently is that it (well, they) will be a side effect of doing something else. Cryptic I know, but I'm sure progress will be announced when the dev is ready. If the development were so certain in these areas, all easy parts are done now the hard ones are left.. where you have to do the good old debug, debug, debug, aha and fix (I have successfully tested: creating a wallet, receiving of BLK, but last step sending is having a hiccup: Error: Wrong signatures.. have to debug why..) run other tests 69 passing (15s) 18 failing (have to fix them, not much ) Awesome job @janko33 ! we can't wait to see that :thumbsup: Do you guys have a Slack channel? btw... nice dump on Poloniex LMFAO Looks like we got rid of one day-trader that lost patience (yeah, 'cuz 3-4 days holding is waaaaay too long, right?) Neos is a great coin with a great team of devs, but that price now? !?! Totally ridiculous and over-pumped. I base this on the fact that nothing have been presented yet, it's yet again a pump and dump but this one got so high I just hope you guys have brain and don't get caught buying at top. After this new ath, brought to you by a p&d team, it will be hard to get that high again and/or it will take reasonable time to reach it again. Just want to say beware to the noobs around... because no worry guys, it will go back down again (how low I don't know) but you will have plenty of time to buy this great coin in the following months. It's never fun holding to coins that you bought too high priced but don't want to sell because you loose $$$$. Don't get blind by your greed.

just quoting this so everyone can see what the swap brings price wise according to my calculations the supply is divided by 5 so to match pre-swap price we multiply it by a factor of 5 pre-swap price: 4k sat so the current price should be around 20k sat which would give it a $180,000 USD market cap.. some lucky ones brought for 10k... this could quite easily hit a 1.8mill market cap.... x15 from the current price on bittrex watch out for a poloniex pump I think anything bought below 50k satoshis is a steal and a nice opportunity. I'm moving some btc on bittrex again because I'm not so sure it will be easy to buy for so cheap on Poloniex once they un-freeze the market. |

I've been looking a bit into Martin Repetto's background. According to his LinkedIn profile, he was CEO or Minor Studio (a company of Hasley Minor) from 2008 to 2011, and was in charge of a game project called Atmosphir, which key feature was the ability to design your own 3D worlds. Looking at Youtube videos of Atmosphir back then, when it had 20 or so developers working actively on it (again according to Martin Repetto's LinkedIn), it looks strikingly similar to Voxelus. Search Atmosphir videos on Youtube and Voxelus videos on Vimeo. So same entrepreneur, same CEO, same lead developer, same concept, very very similar engine and game mechanics, very similar texture and objects base... This leads me to the question: is Voxelus an attempt to ROI Atmosphir's intellectual property (that belongs to Minor Studio and therefore Hasley Minor)? What happened to Atmosphir? Could the same happen to Voxelus? According to Atmorsphir's wikia page: During November 2011, Atmosphir's website had been going blank. It is now confirmed that it is abandoned and all of the progress on it has stopped. During February 2012, the site reopened. A new developer, called RohanArin's released a statement a few days after the reopening: "Hi, I began working on the bugs last year. There may be short downtimes to update things. Your levels and accounts are backed up, so no worries. I work on several things at Minor Studios among which now include maintaining atmosphir until more developers are hired. I am aware of most of the bugs, but if you find something new post it so it can be tracked down. Anyway the site should be up for a while Also stay tuned for some cool new stuff. Best, Rohan" Not munch is known except the fact that new developers are slowly being hired. Updates may come in a very slow time due to the bugs and the problems Hayley caused to make him finish in first place. then Atmosphir returned at the hands of its old community as of January 7th 2013 (The game died due to lack of funding in 2012). While the game is currently up and running again, the website is no longer available. This project was made possible by two developers. One user began the driver by de-compiling all of Atmosphir. It was later revealed that another used had been working on a functional Atmosphir server as well.
So basically the project failed due to lack of funding after one or two years of uncertainty where progress seemed to have staled, site was blank, and little information was released in complete disregard of the community... Does that ring a bell? And when the project ultimately died, instead of releasing the code as open source to save the thousands of hours of work the community poured in building games and levels, Minor Studio just pulled the plug and hung them out to dry, and some community users had to reverse engineer the binaries to figure how to recreate an open source version of the engine to salvage everybody's work. Three years later the project is relaunched as Voxelus, still closed source although it's been crowdfunded. And once again, funds dry up, development stales, information release slows down to a trickle. Are we headed for a repeat of the failure of Atmorsphir? Is the project going to agonize another one or two years while every last premine token is being dumped, and then the project will shutdown, and reopen under another name in a few more years? Or was Voxelus just a way to ROI the expenses incurred by Minor on Atmosphir at the minor cost of a simple GUI redesign and a bit of marketing? How to interpret this is very much a question of subjective perception. Under the current circumstances where the leadership of the project can't even be bothered giving updates to the community that crowd funded their project, and yet still actively maintain a wash-trade bot on Bittrex to generate fake volume, the worst should be assumed. Let's give one more week to Voxelus folks to get their shit together, give an update and answer pending questions on this thread. If nothing is done, we should assume this is indeed a scam based on a rehashed and rebranded failed project, and start airing the matter more widely, including contacting Bittrex and Poloniex to ask delisting. Good job here. I think right now there isn't much more to say than that. one of the last nail in the coffin... |

Accumulation on LSK the past few weeks has been picking up pace. Every time the volume drops the price slowly creeps up. The best part about it is you don't hear anything about LSK in polo trade boxes or elsewhere right now. Safe to say a lot of swing traders are taking advantage of the over all bullish momentum building in the crypto space. If you notice alt coins across the board have been increasing in value as they did in the first big bitcoin bull run.
Exciting times ahead indeed.
