221  Economy / Speculation / Re: *POP* Goes the bubble! on: December 22, 2017, 09:48:26 PM
Yep, a nice christmas gift! I sold three bitcoins at monday at $19800 each one of them, for a total of $59,400 USD

Oh boy, this is too great a Christmas gift.

The "experts" with that world, you mean, the "bankers" right? or the ones that you see on Facebook like the grandmothers who say that bitcoin is a bubble?

I've been warning people for months.
All the worlds leading experts in the field have been warning everybody for months.

Yep, biggest bubble, i earned more than $59,000 without investing a single penny, wow! What a bubble! IN-CRE-DI-BLE.

Biggest bubble in recorded history.  I don't even want to know how filthy rich a few have become with this and how millions have lost their savings! Hilarious!

222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The exchanges are of concern during these Bitcoin crashes on: December 22, 2017, 09:36:22 PM
That is the truth.. The exchanges are the only ones who are always manipulating everything. Why dont you think that most exchanges are not using segwit or why the lightning network is not going to be accepted soon?

Because of fees, they are earning BUNCH of money because of fees. Take a look over Localbitcoins; they are charging 0.0017 just for an incoming transaction (Huh We are paying just for something that we were not even aware of that) And 0.0005 for normal fees .

Bitcoin will do what it does but a run on the exchanges can create a major problem

Coinbase is the major problem, they supported all the move that Roger Ver and his friends wanted to do, that is why the price collapsed.

I was already out when coinbase suspended trading. I saw it coming as it wasn't hard to see
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase & Ripple ? on: December 21, 2017, 11:52:01 PM
Nope, it will never happen, and i will just explain you why they are never going to add ripple on their platform:
Coinbase does not allow Centralized coins, and do you really think that they are going to list ripple? It is controlled & manipuled specially from banks.

A LOT of people have been wondering when/if coinbase will add ripple. Any thoughts?

No, they will never do it, and not even monero. They listed ethereum in there because it really needed to be added in there, but it does not means that they will add the top 10 from coinmarketcap in there.

Quote
Eventually they'll add ripple. Then others like Monero. Most likely Q1 2018.

And in the first quarter of the next year? How do you have that information? are you from the NSA or the CIA? Haha, came on.
224  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin dumps down 25% from 20k to 15k whatsup on: December 21, 2017, 11:35:13 PM
That is probably all that i tried to explain to this random newbies out here saying "Oh hell, no, i am going to invest my investment! I bought at $8000 and i am now worried about seeing the price over $16000 because it dropped!" Came on newbies, stop spreading fud.

price is  not important. bitcoin pumping from 10k to 20k in one month it’s easy to back to 10$ and will be normal price.

What do you mean with this? High paing to send? Do you mean Pain? Who is in pain about sending money? haha.

problem with high paing to send

if you meant high fees, then you are absolutely right, i am going to receive a payment on localbitcoins in a few hours because i want to sell some bitcoins, and i need to pay $25 WORTH OF FEES, only to see it on my wallet.

Oh my fucking god, why do i need to pay $25 for an incoming transaction? What the hell..
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't we all using segwit addresses? on: December 21, 2017, 11:20:42 PM
hahaha the fuck?? What are you talking about? do you mean it seriously or you have been smoking weed before creating that shitty post?

DUMB STICKY OF THE DAY > SEGWIT ADDRESSES > LESS DESCENTRALIZATION.

personally i support but when using segwit addresses bitcoin will be  less decentralization.
How the fuck can you say that bitcoin segwit is going to make bitcoin less centralized? They are the same as the ussual addresses, only that you pay less bitcoin for new transactions.

Legacy addresses are paying upto $70 worth of fees right now, while segwit addresses just $45.

And lost it's value? What the fuck? x2.

bitcoin will lost it’s value
226  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hitbtc withdrawal of BTC stuck, average response time from support? on: December 21, 2017, 11:03:44 PM
A response? haha, keep waiting for weeks, maybe months, most exchanges are never replying to support tickets because they are having tons of them per day. Take a look over bittrex, they have an average of more than 100k tickets a day.

They freezed my account with 0.20 BTC inside and they never replied my tickets (this was on November)

Anyone know how long it takes to get a response from hitbtc? I placed a successful transaction on the 18th of

HitBTC has always had problems regarding to withdrawals, there is nothing new with that, and you need to make a little research in the forum because there is a lot of people who had this kind of issue with their money.

Quote
Ive heard of people with same situation waiting 30 days is this true?

Bad desicion, it will never be answered. I will just give you an advice, don't send more than one ticket, because they will ignore all of yours if you keep doing this.

our ticket has been registered with the Ticket ID #82520.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about VERGE in long term? on: December 21, 2017, 10:49:30 PM
I think that you haven't bought anything yet, just ONE month ago the price of each verge was less than $0.005 each, do you really think that it hasn't grew up? It is worth $0,13 right now.

I bought it months ago and price hasnt increased that much

I have no faith on Verge, their dev's are always censoring what other people thinks about the project; If other people thinks different than the dev's, they are going to ban you from the slack, or from the subbreddit.

I have faith in this coin as it has good features. Waiting for it to increase too. Maybe 2-3years more.

And + we do not even know who are the real developers at all, everybody has been struggling about them because there is no "real" data about them.

Maybe 2-3years more.

You seem to be very optimist at all.
228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A Strong Fork will happen again on: December 21, 2017, 10:34:14 PM
You are wrong with this, how many times are people going to try to compare old charts with the actual ones?
One year ago the total marketcap of bitcoin was not even a ten percent of what it is today (probably less than 30B, i do not know if was the exact amount.

Last year i remember at DEC. market made some reactions then a big drop happened then with JUN and FEB a big movement happened

Wrong again, just like i said, there is much more marketcap right now > it means that there is more people > more people/different decisions and patterns on the movement of the price.

it's the same reaction and maybe wider is happening , be careful enter buy only at the bottoms, so analyze your chart before start trading or investing

Yeah, but if it keeps going on by this way.. It will make a huge break, but with this kind of fees that we have to pay, i think that it can take more than months or even years to reach that price.

i think BTC price will hit 30k - 40k in next two months . what is your opinion ?
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why rich people with a lot of Bitcoin don't try to improve it? on: December 21, 2017, 10:10:03 PM
You are wrong. Almost all the millionaires and billionaires that you see everyday are never going to be satisfied with the money that they already have. First laws of ambicius.

I mean, they are so rich, they can start to mine Bitcoin, even if they lose some money they shouldn't care, they are ok with all those money they already have.

About what dream life are you talking about? It seems that you are another guy who wants to get rich by using bitcoin for a few weeks and then became rich just for doing some bullshit task or just by investing five bucks.

If you became rich and you are doing the dream life that everyone wants is thanks to Bitcoin, don't let him die.

And no, do you see Mark Zuckerberg or just Warren Buffet trying to improve bitcoin? Of course not.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And heeeere is the correction! on: December 21, 2017, 09:45:11 PM
Yep, i lost more than $10,000 on my whole portfolio, it is really hitting me. I am just waiting for a stable price so i can sell all my btc's during that time.

Phew, lost about 20% of my investments today and i am pretty spread. Luckily im a believer in newer tech and in holding on. In fact, this might make me buy a bit more!

Those are just hopes.. everyone in here is just blaming theirselves only for have being purchasing bitcoins on the past, only because it dropped a few in the last few days.

Hope not everyone is sad.

Dont you see that it touched more than $20k a few days ago? This is only a take-profit situation. I dont know if this is really happening, but at least i am 100% sure of that.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES about to go up on: December 20, 2017, 11:45:19 PM
Waves has been a dead coin for a long time... I dont know why it suddenly came from three dollars each to more than eight, and it suddenly touched more than $13 because of FOMO, nothing more than that.

Why is that exactly? Waves price seems like a rollercoaster ride - every time it steadily goes up and reaches certain peak it goes full speed down.

The price is going up because people has understood that this is probably one of those projects who really have their project being working, i mean, their dex works smoothly, and the price is going up, what else could it need to be a succesfull coin?

I might be wrong, so I would appreciate your input on the initial statement (why should it go up after the 10K waves handout)?

I shame myself about blaming all those who said "buy waves at $2, you will not regret about that"

I feel like i am a stupid when i think that i dumped more than 1000 waves at $3 each.
232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Make Money From The Bitcoin Crash on: December 20, 2017, 11:30:09 PM
Are you aware of that bitcoin is the only crypto that will always make other depend from itself?

If bitcoin crashes, most altcoins will crash too, you should know that the incredible FUD that there is going to be if Bitcoin crashes would be massive, it will make people panic sell and almost all the other coins will die too.

I am not interested in trying to guess when BTC crashes, everyone knows it will one day, I want to figure out how to make money from the crash.

Yes, the only idea that i can think about is just drain all your bank account and buy much more bitcoins when the price crashes, we all know that sooner or later it will go back to the top again.

Any ideas?

But i have never been thinking about that, seriously.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most ICOs are scams these days. How do you find a good project?? on: December 20, 2017, 10:58:01 PM
The only projects that are not a 100% scam are those who have a high level of transparency, and there aren't many of those projects nowadays.

Most ICOs are scams these days. How do you distinguish a promising project from a scam?

I have been investing a lot in ICO's, the last one in where i invested a lot of money was in Envion, i really trust in that project.

Also, what should you expect once you send ETH/BTC? Do you get tokens right away? Huh Huh

Tokens are always distributed once that you send the desired amount of ethereum to their contract adress. It is an automatic process on a transaction basis.

But there are some ico's that are usually sending the tokens once that the ico is over, but personally i dont like those kind of projects.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin owners, you need to do these two things right now on: December 20, 2017, 10:44:21 PM
Legacy wallets are still paying upto 0.004 worth of fees for a single transaction, that is insane enough to keep holding until our last days of life .. Who is going to send money with a fee of $80 - $100?

What people actually don't know this? I switched to a Segwit account in August because if you read any articles basically all of them mention you will have lower fees on Segwit than a legacy account.

And yes, i can not understand that kind of people who are still using legacy ones, if your wallet provider allows segwit ones, then why the hell are you using legacy?

I have zero clue why people are still running legacy accounts, unless it is through an exchange which okay that makes sense.

And no, exchanges are using segwit, if they were using legacy, the fees could be more than $50 for withdrawing a few satoshis.
235  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ShapeShift.io Scam? on: December 20, 2017, 10:32:57 PM
BTC is saturated, and the same goes to ethereum.. In wich network can we trust right now to send fast payments? None of them is working smoothly right now.

Both the Bitcoin/ETH network is currently congested, due to the recent price surge.

Around 12 hours? are you serious? A few days ago i exchanged PIVX > Ethereum and it took more than 15 hours to receive ethereum in my wallet.
Give it around 12 hours, and then contact their support.

You need one confirmation to make your transactions go through.

I believe that they wait for at least 1 confirmation before processing the order so it might just be the case of waiting for it to confirm if it hasn't already.
236  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase - next coins to be added on: December 20, 2017, 10:01:38 PM
They are probably going to add Cardano by the next time.

Forget about Ripple, they do not accept centralized coins, they wrote that on their ToS.

I'm pretty sure Coinbase is going to add coins by marketcap. So Coinbase is most likely going to go with Ripple, Cardano, or Dash.

Because IOTA is a real shit, it does not deserves to have iota on their platform.

Why not IOTA, you say? I think development-wise IOTA is the hardest to impement, as it doesn't use blockchain. Hope it gets added though.

And you are missing that, just like you said, IOTA is not using a blockchain, they are using another blockchain system but i do not remember the name of that chain at the moment, so no, they will never be added.
237  Economy / Speculation / Re: inside trading at coinbase? on: December 20, 2017, 09:52:48 PM
The problem in here is that no one has enough stomach to see their balance going down, that is because they bought a few days ago /weeks, and they are afraid of losing a few bucks.

That's not why or what happened. Let me explain.

They are the only ones who doesn't care a fuck about bitcoin cash, they only want money, they got those bitcoins cash probably for free and they want to push the price to the top, that is money raised from the air, why wouldn't they want to see each one of their bcash worth more than $10000? You would probably do the same.

BCash is very very thinly traded, and traded on very few exchanges. Bithumb being the biggest exchange by volume. That's because the float there is really thin and tightly controlled by the Bitmain/Ver/Wu whale cartel.

This.. They will have the control forever, they are mass adopters, they have hashpower, they have volume, they have "supporters" they have everything that they need to manipulate any market.

So what happened on GDAX is that whale traders knew that buy rushing in and buying up all available BCash , they could gain control of the extremely thin, meager float that exists on GDAX. And with control of the float
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Cardano (ADA) and Stellar Lumens (XLM) on: December 15, 2017, 11:48:55 PM
You are "thinking" by the right way, because this coin will be a giant one during the next year.

I think Stellar Lumen will moon.

Wow, but at which rate did you bought them? A lot of people were able to buy stellar at $0,02 each one of them, it has increased very fast.

I was holding lots of them sold them for 2x not knowing it will moon more.

At least you cut-off your losses, if this coin drops, you are not going to be in a loss if it drops by more than 40 - 50 percent (and i dont think that it will happen)

I've regretted selling at 2x, i wish i could hold longer.

By the way, stellar has a nice project, a perfect team, i really like the real vision that their team is having right now.
239  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will hit the value of 1 Million USD? on: December 15, 2017, 11:34:30 PM
Wow, you are really saying that the price will increase fifty more times? are you sure? do you have an idea of how much will the marketcap be worth if the price reaches one million dollars?

It started in penies and now is 17k. That's a return of much more then 50.000 times. To come to 1 million USD it need only 50 times of that what we is the value right now.  Shocked

The price is purely determined by speculation, it can not went from $17,000 to $1,000,000 in just a few days because someone wanted to push it to the top.

There are a lot of facts over the pumps on the price, only that we do not know them at all.

If you are just one of those newbies who are expecting to get rich just by investing a few dollars today, then get away from here, because they are like a plague.

240  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I am so dumb! Localbitcoins on: December 15, 2017, 11:21:13 PM
But it was not the seller's fault, it was your fault, how could you be so dumb to buy $224 worth of bitcoin for almost $900?

I made my first purchase through localbitcoins today. I bought $224.00 worth of bitcoin for $875.00 Angry

Are you aware that you bought them all at aproximately x4 of the actual price? It is more than $50,000 per bitcoin.

He scammed you, aren't you able to start a dispute in there?

Maybe the support will not consider it because you "agreed" to buy, but it is unfair mate, try to find a solution.

Good luck with this... shit..
