Ya know, this coin is actually amazing... But it needs to be dumbed down for ordinary people... With dead simple Default Modes... and I mean ONE-CLICK to IRC, etc... +10000000000 This is the actual wall to a better adoption I think, this coin is pretty good and undervalue, but its alot complicate, and Im a geek ! I have to agree with that one. It would be good that on the long run a "simple" 1 click UI would be designed. But I am not sure if thats possible, running TOR, VPN, i2p or other is not for the non tech ppl.

server=1 wallets can be hacked
1) Was removed 2) Not if rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 Correct option should be : server=1 Accept command line and JSON-RPC commands. server=0 Disables command line and JSON-RPC commands. Most users should use "server=0" but for some reason in many qt wallets/projects ppl keep adding server=1. Very bad habbit and I have no clue why it's done, especially by various devs since they should know better. Or am I missing something ?

Our temporary IRC server start, please edit IrcCh.ini file, add:[2] s = irc.bitnet.wang p = 6667
These lines are not needed anymore in the latest wallet. Works just fine without these.

@iGotSpots Is there a minimum value of stack size were it does not get split after staking ? What happens if multiple stacks are created on 1 address and 1 stack staked ? Are the other stacks left alone ?
Each stack is separately calculated. They only split if you stake at or near the 24 hour mark. If it takes 2 days to stake, it won't split. Splitting doesn't affect the total amount of coins. Instead of getting 1 stake for 2 coins, you would get 2 stakes for 1 coin each So lets see if I got it correct : Just like other POS coins a stack gets split in 50/50 but only when age is around 24 hrs, but not when age is 2 days or more. If user does not re-combine then you would end up with "dust". As is common, small stacks take more time to gain weight and because of that more time to stake. This applies for both, MMXIV and BALLS. Am I correct ? Is there any max reward or capping ?

I have reported it to the vpnteam but they can't resolve it. -Use check wallet followed by repair wallet, debug > console. -Issue command "vpncoin-qt.exe -rescan" -Try to export private keys old wallet and import back into new wallet. ALWAYS use copy of original wallet ! ALWAYS check that you are on the right fork !

Hi guys I'm on the IRC channel, how can i get IRC reward?
Below is your answer: Our temporary IRC server start, please edit IrcCh.ini file, add: [2] s=irc.bitnet.wang p=6667
IRC reward continue... Cheers... I tried everything but no reward from last 48 hours........... Whats wrong? My wallet start getting Reward Coins...... Thank you very much. Not working for me now. The IRCCH.ini consist the following lines now: [1] #BitNet+=1 #VpnTalk=1 [2] s=irc.bitnet.wang p=6667 Is this correct? "irc error 10060" error means that irc can not connect. Had it once myself, was related to blocked port for outgoing traffic.

Hi guys I'm on the IRC channel, how can i get IRC reward?
you need to be running the qt i believe. that acts as a node for the irc ? Yes, ONLY with wallet you will get reward. Check bitnet > irc , if you are connected. You can also choose to "auto login" in irc settings.

Problem with MOST Charities is they are a Scam. Only 10-25% at most goes to help the people. The rest is squandered in management costs.
+1000 Absolutly true ! Thats why I NEVER donate to any charity here in the Netherlands. Our Dutch government has no problems waisting billions of ppls tax money on prestige objects like jet fighters and other crap, but ZERO dollars on helping ppl here in the Netherlands. Every dollar donated by Dutch ppl is one dollar that our "great" = corrupt government can use/waist. FUCK you Dutch CORRUPT politicians ! Crypto rules, VPN rules !!

We hope to fast distribution vpncoin to community, and let vpncoin have value, so we select charity ICO, Our plan it's very easy, we send 600M vpncoins to some exchanges, Then our ICO job is over, we hope these exchanges take all incomes to do charity.
And we hope that through Irc gift to the community, by free gift to accumulate popularity, At now maybe you think it's need long time, because our community is small, With more and more people join us, our community will growing, Gift amount will be more and more, the time required is getting shorter.
We look forward to more and more people to take these gifts, come on.
I think this will simply crash the price, meaning those of us who supported vpncoin by buying over the last few weeks are the losers. If you are going to crash the price, you should at least use some of the coin to compensate holders who will see their investments shrink. Just my opinion, but I would propose... 250 million for bounties - Get some good people in to help with development, language translations, user instructions, news articles, social media marketing etc - This will improve wallet & usability, plus help with exposure & reaching a wider audience 150 million free distribution - Free 1 vpncoin for every 2 vpncoin already in a wallet. 200 million charity ico Thanks for your advice, very good. About Charity ICO, is our proposal, have not made a decision. Before the formal decision, we will continue free for community. you can set a vote for the left 700 m, and you also need to select a trustful exchange to do the ICO. Yes, we all need a credible exchange. We contact some exchanges, they are not willing to do charity, very strange. About vote, i don't know how to do and where to do Most importantly do NOT rush ! Exchanges are what they are, making money is their business NOT charity. Screw / fuck exchanges when it comes to that. -collect ideas from various members/users of VPN. -organise a poll on various VPN channels about these ideas. -repeat polls if needed until VPN team has a clear answer.

When a stack has staked, do I end up with 2 stacks of (50% + 50% reward) each or will it stay 1 stack ?
|

Thats not bad. Such a market cap is fiction. Undistributed coins held by the devs should not be considered. The real market cap is much smaller at this moment. I think in the end traders are just looking for volume and don't care at all about marketcap. Just as most don't care about whatever great ideas a project promises.

I have noticed that none of my stacks has staked for quite a while now. Anyone else having that problem ?
Are you seeing them staking but then getting orphaned? Or just not staking at all? If the former, sync your system clock then restart the wallet. If the latter, it may just be a sign that the difficulty has increased. I estimate that you need about 150 CLAMs now if you want to stake once per day on average. I made some charts showing how difficulty has risen over time: ... Not staking at all, still have small stacks of some 5-6 clams. I guess I better create 1 stack and sacrifice coin age. Also I have noticed that often clam wallet show high cpu load. Especially compared to other wallets. CoinAge is not taken into account when your staking. So, feel free to sacrifice it! Just created a fresh wallet and coins moved. I know the answer is in the forum, but having a bit of a brainfart, what does make a stack stake ?

The recent hardfork made it about 100 million times easier to stake a block, so the difficulty shot up to compensate: This one shows the difficulty since the recent hardfork: Not staking at all, still have small stacks of some 5-6 clams. Been holding M for awhile, so exited to see what happends when high pos kicks in You're excited for the price plummet? Well, mostly interested to see how it goes longterm. longterm is when profesional investors and wall street starts trading cryptos, that could be interesting for sure Happy staking! You know, I'm totally on board with your coins... But without coin control these will always be at a disadvantage... and less fun. Also, if you ever run out of vowels... I could invent a 6th vowel you. MMXIV had coin control in 1.0.3, but the client performed like shit so we pulled it. I'll be putting a far more advanced version of coin control back into MMXIV than we had before The wallet is real slow in syncing, almost done after a couple of days, hopefully tomorrow. Is this normal ? close the wallet and open again..i did it 3 times and it synced Problem solved, downloaded old version, 1.0.3. Deleted dat folder and sync is going fast. 1.0.8 is the current version Sorry for the confusion, I had problems with 1.0.3, not sure where I downloaded it... 1.0.8 solved my problems.
