221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here is why you shouldn't trade bitcoin based on the CNBC Bitcoin News on: September 09, 2019, 01:06:58 AM
Very often, news creates FUD and such speculation negatively affects the market due to people's trust. You need to learn how to filter the news and not make mistakes because of some media statements.

I still remember when CNBC said it was best to buy XRP when the price was at $ 3 and ended with a loss to investors who followed CNBC's advice. I agree we must filter the analysis from other parties and it is better to use the analysis of the other party as a second opinion and not make it as a main reference
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARE ICOS STILL LEGIT? on: September 09, 2019, 01:02:40 AM
We heard the news of IEO to be in place of ICO in order to curb the high rate of failure and scams in the development of altcoins projects in this year 2019. My surprise is that I still see series of projects claiming to be in ICOs. Doesn't that make them scam as we have seen in the same scenarios in the past?

If it is, I wonder why people still invest whether their time or monies in such projects which have high risk of loss or being scammed.

Some new projects attract many investors because of the potential of their projects in the future. Many projects offer big bonuses for early investors and I think this is an incentive from the developer team. There may be many new projects that end up scamming or detrimental to investors when listing but I don't think all new projects are like that because the cryptocurrency market is still in the developing stage.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot Altcoins on: September 09, 2019, 12:58:07 AM
Besides BTC, there are thousands of altcoins. Everyday there are new currencies.

Other than top 20 currencies, what are hot and profitable currencies you think?

Do you think that fresh new currencies are always profitable?

But I don't have so many accounts in various exchanges to buy these altcoins. To be have verified accounts in many exchanges is difficult for me.

I think coins in the 100 coinmarketcap list are coins that have good potential for investment. Prices are more unique compared to the top 20 CMC. Bitcoin and ETH are currently falling, but there are some coins whose exchange rates have skyrocketed. There are many choices for you, you condition the exchange you have, whether the coin is there.

Agree, coins that are in the top 20 or 100 already have good liquidity and are also transacted in large exchangers. Currently there are many choices in choosing good altcoins at low prices and this is an opportunity to accumulate the coins that we already have and many of them are in the top 100
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No matter what i'm sticking with Altcoins on: September 06, 2019, 08:56:21 AM
I appreciate your decision to keep sticking with altcoins.
You can make altcoins as your source of incomes with trading, investing, or other things.
Investing in altcoins is more risky, especially in new one because you usually we won't know the future of the project.
Peoples nowadays are very careful with new altcoin project, so they won't be scammed later.

I agree that investing in altcoin is higher at risk. If we are good at trading, altcoin has a very volatile price movement and I think it can make a big profit. But if we want to hold altcoin for the long term, I think it's better to choose altcoin which is in the top 10 coinmarketcap
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it safe to exchange big amounts? on: September 06, 2019, 08:52:21 AM
Hey.
Is it safe to exchange big amounts on non-custodial exchangers like changelly or shapeshift, or are they designed for small transactions?
I'm a newbie and I want to know if it's safe. Also, I want to know if it's safe to exchange crypto on classical exchanges like binance.

If you want to trade with a large value, you should use exchangers who already have a good reputation such as Binance or Huobi or other large exchangers. I think the transaction fee that we pay is also small, besides that I think it's safer
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: can exchange services sell my personal data? on: September 06, 2019, 08:48:10 AM
Possible it is yes, there are crypto exchanges not to be trusted. Most especially those crypto exchanges that newly launched and don't have enough trust. Avoid those IEO/CEO projects that required KYC verification because they are not safe if they are going to be successful or not. Nevertheless, as much as you can avoid passing KYC then do it. Unless they had built a good brand name that deserves to be trusted.

It is possible for an exchanger to sell its customer data because many exchangers are established in countries without clear regulations. It's best if we avoid exchangers like this because our documents will be sold but it would be better if many countries regulate exchangers and the cryptocurrency market for the safety of customer funds and documents
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: 2017 vs 2019 on: September 06, 2019, 08:44:15 AM
Very interesting comparison that analyzes holding ETH in 2017 vs holding it today... https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/hodling-ethereum-2017-vs-2019/

Thoughts? I'm super happy to have swaped all of my ETH for BTC to be honest

2017 is certainly different from 2019 both from ethereum prices and market cap values. Overall, market cap value of cryptocurrency market has fallen by more than 60% and this must have an impact on the price of every coin including ethereum. The price of ethereum is currently depressed against bitcoin and certainly affects also the US dollar but ethereum is still the biggest liquidity coin on the market after bitcoin
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone buying Ether ? on: September 05, 2019, 10:45:50 AM
Ether is now on sale. Would like to have opinion of Crypto community about buying Ether. I think the project was promising. But, the way IPO is being made and they have removed their team list from home page, I'm now suspicious.

1BTC = 20k ether 2k ether

Ethereum is still the coin with the biggest market cap value after bitcoin. I think ethereum is still interesting as an investment because many altcoins use the ethereum network. Every investor in the cryptocurrency market must have ethereum in their wallet because ethereum is one of the major currencies in almost all exchangers
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why exchanges most interested to launch IEO? on: September 05, 2019, 10:42:38 AM
Well, it is because exchange will get the fee for listing IEO of the project.
If the project is good, they can attract many new users to sign up on their exchange. That is the reason i guess.

Agree, besides getting profit from listing fees, exchangers get new customers. A good new project will attract many investors and this will increase the transaction volume on the exchanger. Exchangers in organizing IEO will certainly very careful because it concerns their reputation in the cryptocurrency market, if the project is bad, their reputation will be affected
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need regulation pretty bad on: September 05, 2019, 10:38:57 AM
Apart from scam artists in crypto space we have too many unprofessional developers that falsely act like they are really good in a particular field and try to build blockchain based projects but failed in the end,if there is really any way to make blockchain available to only professionals that are qualified it would have been a different story for crypto, even scammers wont have a chance, this is why i think we need REGULATIONS pretty bad.

Regulations are needed but in my opinion regulations are limited in collecting funds or selling tokens. There is no guarantee that a project can produce a good product and be used by many people and I think it is difficult to manage the developer team must produce a good product in a regulation.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Ether become an Independent currency like Bitcoin? on: September 04, 2019, 12:28:30 AM
it sounds like the mystical dream of an ethereum holder. this will never happen. Ethereum will not be accepted as a payment tool in any territory. Ethereum was not created for this.

Ethereum was created as a business platform and therefore there is a smart contract. In my opinion ethereum is different from bitcoin which functions as a digital currency or digital assets. Ethereum with its smart contract can be a business platform that can be used to make business efficient by making tokens.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: artificial intelligence can be dangerous on: September 04, 2019, 12:23:24 AM
It is obvious that there are numerous conceivable use cases for Artificial Intelligence. Especially when joined with voice innovation, a great deal of fascinating things should be possible. Lamentably, these innovations will likewise stand out from culprits everywhere throughout the world. For whatever length of time that cash can be produced using manhandling innovation, the world will remain generally risky, what do you say?

I don't think artificial intelligence is intended to be destructive as in the film. Artificial Intelligence is made to assist humans in increasing productivity and facilitating jobs that are difficult for humans to do. Technology continues to evolve and we should not need to be afraid but adapt to new technology
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: September 04, 2019, 12:18:39 AM
The more new coins that are present in the crypto market, will certainly enliven the crypto world. My question is how do you look at the future of the altcoin, with fairly tight competition. Will it affect the price of old altcoins, such as Ethereum, XRP and others.

New coins have the potential to compete with old coins. But new coins still have to show good performance and products because competition in altcoin is very tight, besides that new coins continue to appear in the market with newer products and features.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Happened with ETH ? on: September 04, 2019, 12:13:44 AM
Ethereum is the best partner of bitcoin, during 2017 ethereum prices were around 5% of the price of bitcoin. when the bitcoin price is $ 5600 then the ethereum price is $ 280
But why since 2018 until now when bitcoin has reached $ 11 707, ethereum is still $ 227. The ethereum price should be $ 585.
What happened Huh if bitcoin price is $ 20 000 then ethereum price is only $ 600 Roll Eyes

I think this is because ethereum prices are weakening against bitcoin. This is what makes the current dominance of bitcoin in the market reach more than 70%. But if we hold ethereum for the long term, I think we don't need to worry because ethereum is still a coin with great liquidity and is in no. 2 coinmarket

236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Believes Dogecoin “Will Go To The Moon” on: July 27, 2019, 06:45:10 AM
Well!!

We all are aware that Elon Musk has publicly stated that Dogecoin is one of his favorite cryptocurrencies. At present Dogecoin found a new fan,
John McAfee, the most popular public figures in the crypto industry. John has agreed that Dogecoin is cryptocurrency gearing up for a big price rally.

What's your take on this, will dogecoin price surge up?

After Dogecoin started trading at binance, I thought Dogecoin price would go up high was not as expected. Sometimes the market is hard to predict but I think dogecoin is a pretty good investment because of the large liquidity factor
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is much effective than ICO nowadays. on: July 27, 2019, 06:37:36 AM
People tend to follow the trend and so everyone is joining or participating in Initial Exchange Offering this was given birth to after series of scam during the ICO days, also it is preferred because the exchanges do research before accepting any project, so it is likely that IEO is safer and listing is also fast.

And the trend in selling tokens now is the IEO. I think the IEO is indeed better than the ICO because after the sales period is complete, the exchanger can trade tokens. Investors get certainty and the developer team does not need to create a complicated marketing scheme
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges are not recommended. on: July 27, 2019, 06:35:21 AM
I have heard that there are some exchange platforms that deceive traders and even owners of new coins, Tell us your story with a bad exchange  platforms that you do not recommend.

Help others to avoid this exchanges that cheat traders

During this time I had not had a bad experience with an exchanger except cryptopia. The cryptopia was closed because the exchanger was hacked by hackers and currently in the process of liquidation, but besides cryptopia, I think there is no problem. Choosing an exchanger must be careful so as not to occur like cryptopia
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful of alts you hodl on: July 26, 2019, 09:04:51 AM
I agreed with you , i also know some coins that was started at good price but now they are not well or removed from exchanges or swaped to other token or coins, so should not buy or hold any unkonwn coin or token.

Altcoin is indeed high risk and many factors cause it. One factor is that the project does not work according to the roadmap and the developer team starts leaving the ongoing project so that the project fails. This makes investors start selling at any price
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't doubt the power of Staking coins on: July 26, 2019, 09:01:47 AM
Staking coins is way better than mining ,hassle free and no generating of heats ,I'm luck to come across miracle telecom project that offers token holders rewards every two weeks from the projects 40% net profits and so far so good ,the reward is not fixed but its way better that other staking coins too ,with 100 tele tokens you can easily make 1.2-2euro based on their net profit every two weeks.

Do you guys have any other staking coins as good as this?
Share your comments below.

Ethereum starts to become staking coins in the future. Maybe there will be a lot of coins that follow ethereum but in my opinion the investment for the long term is mined coins because there are usually halving and hardfork
