221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Partnership with JAXX and ZelCore! on: February 11, 2019, 06:52:56 PM

My current BTX entrance price is about 5.5-5.8 $ and now current level of 20-25 cents looks interesting fo buying
Hold my beer!  Cheesy
You have great price comparing to my enter.
I consider my current holding of BTX worth zero, so basicaly I'm waiting for bullrun in next few years and will dump it and forgot about it.

People paid $40 for this coin last year. I bet $5 price tag looked great to him.  Grin

Well if they paid $40 for BTX then they bought BTX in Feb'2018. After that there were about 10 weeks of BTX airdrop and they at least doubled their BTX. So the average price is about 20$
I bought my BTX in later December of 2017 for 18-20$ and my amount was multiplied in 3.5 times. So 19 / 3.5 ~ 5.5$
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / ☛ Signature Bounty & Merit System on: February 11, 2019, 06:41:49 PM
More than a year ago Merit System was integrated to Bitcointalk forum to make forum messages more informative and quality (or should make it)
That is the question\idea: Why Bounty campaign starters/managers don't use that?
For example it would be an additional bonus for Signature Bounty participants if their message will be merited. It will confirm (in ideal) that the message will be detaily read and estimated and signature will be noticed for sure.

Capitulation  Roll Eyes

"Exitscamation" is properly.

At the moment BTX is my worst investment ever. And now there is dilema: to forget about BTX or try to average my BTX position. Now I need spend only 1k $ to reduce my entrance price by 4 times. But is it perspectivelly?

Sounds like you invested more than you could afford to lose buddy.

Take this as an expensive lesson and don't invest too much in shitcoins again.

Now the good news:

Even people like you will make outrageous returns if you keep holding your position for another 2 years.

My BTX position already lost more than 95% of it's initial cost. So fix the loss now is meaningless.
My current BTX entrance price is about 5.5-5.8 $ and now current level of 20-25 cents looks interesting fo buying

What has happened with AZUR faucet?
I like that game for free AZUR coins but now it doesn't work.
What is the further plan of AZUR ?
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you have to take risks. on: February 10, 2019, 07:44:32 PM
It's better to aim minimze risks and maximize the profit. But it's true that without a risk you can't get some profit. And it's very important to make own desicions by own analysis in cryptoinvestments
226  Other / Archival / Re: What's your all time favorite cryptocoin? on: February 10, 2019, 07:39:35 PM
Interesting question. And I don't know the answer. The most often used coin for me is Bitcoin. Most profitable was ETH and ZEC when I started to mine them. Most profitable trading I've with Feathercoin.
But what is the favorite? Need to think
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy on rumour and sell on news. on: February 10, 2019, 07:22:41 PM
You as an investor can also make the mistake if buying on rumour which might be FUD and shilling and end up paying the price of wrong purchasing decision

It also can happened. But it should remember that only rumour without other signals to buy\sell can't be enough trustable. But is one of the factors that need to take into account
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CMC still safe at all ?? on: February 10, 2019, 07:17:58 PM
CMC is not an exchange. It's just an information resourse. With good functionality. I use CMC api for periodical estimation of my cryptoportfolio. And it works practically without issues.

In Friday the rumour of Bitcoin ETF has appeared. Somebody told that maybe next week some decision will be taken in. And BTC price rapidly grown up to 10%.
It confirms that tesisis about buing on rumours. In few days we will see would the second part come true

232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Partnership with JAXX and ZelCore! on: February 09, 2019, 08:40:35 PM
I've found interesting dependence: Bitcore price is pracrtically equal BitcoinInterest price. Is that projects associated?
Maybe we don't see full picture with BTX
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | SUQA | New X22i Algo | SWIFFTX | No ICO | No Pre-mine | %5 Apr Interest on: February 09, 2019, 08:20:33 PM
I hate to say it, but if the reason for the reband is to get away "sucka" in English, using "sin" is not a whole lot better.

I know...late for feedback on this.

i think SIN is much better then sucka

Because word "sin" can have positive connotation. Like something good but forbidden.

SIN is never 'good' ...

Especially in the English language. It is NEVER a good thing to SIN, unless Evil is what you consider as being 'good'. The SIN title is a very bad thing in all english speaking (and most non-english) languages which is one of the reasons that the title SIN is not going to go down well. NEVER in the history of any marketable business has something like this ever succeeded based on the name only, unless you are in Porn or the Occult.

Very bad choice of title, especially coming from some of those developers who actually have a religious background like Catholicism or Christianity of any sort.

It is what it is either way, so as much as anyone can say about SIN itself, time will tell how bad the decision was.

#crysx

I do not agree with Chrysophylax
SIN is definitely better than suqa)

I think if we begin to search carefully we can found that any coin has not good enough meaning in some language. For russians for example SUQA is funny enough fonetically.
And for SIN project the transcription can be used: [es ai en]. Because it's an abbrevitation Secure Infinty Nodes
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VOT]: VoteCoin - a new era of anonymous crypto democracy on: February 09, 2019, 08:10:55 PM
IMPORTANT: Zcash Counterfeiting Vulnerability Successfully Remediated
original post: https://z.cash/blog/zcash-counterfeiting-vulnerability-successfully-remediated/

VoteCoin is based on zcash, so it had the same vulnerability in its code as well.

Since VoteCoin is following zcash development closely and our team is backporting all news and improvements from zcash, especially the Sapling upgrade, the vulnerability has been fixed in the same manner as it was in ZCash, on the same day when ZCash fixed it (by activating Sapling upgrade in VoteCoin network on 28th of October, 2018).

We have found no evidence that the vulnerability was discovered by anyone else or that counterfeiting occurred.

It is possible to verify the total amounts of coins held in sprout addresses (i.e., the Sprout shielded pool) in the output of following command:
Code:
votecoin-cli getblockchaininfo
As long as the value in the shielded pools are greater than zero, no counterfeiting has been detected.

-Tom

Is it mean that if I didn't use shielded addresses for transactions from pool/exchange then I've nothing to worry about? And my VOTs safe aren't?
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors in 2019? on: February 08, 2019, 07:59:03 PM
People will always invest into a project where there is possibilities of making money, the recent Bittorent ICO is a good example, another thing here is that market move in circle, I could remember when I joined the space and people usually refer to those that bought BTC around $200, $100 range, now is another opportunity to buy the dip and people are scared doing so.

It's typical when the price falls down. And the bottom is invisible. Although there are some signals that bear market will finish soon.

When Signature bounty spreadsheet will be updated?
There are many people who sent a request for participation in the bounty during last two days. But now only 4 participants are registered
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Announcement of New Token DigiIndiaToken [DIT] on: February 07, 2019, 06:52:52 PM

Signature Bounty

25000DIT for best signature design for all level members.

More updates soon

Is it a joke? You reserved 100M DIT tokens for bounties. But you want full signature pack only for 25k DIT = 50k sats = 1.7 usd Huh
or you missed additional zero?
500k DIT will be adequate price
Sorry, fixed now 250k,
I believe 250k DIT good amount, price will not be 2 sat forever.

It's much more interest Smiley I'm in
Volumes in DIT/BTC pair look promisive.
As soon as DIT website will launch and main social media links will be created I will make signature pack for DIT

I have already said, even though now very low prices and the temptation to buy as many coins very large, it is better to wait for the beginning of market growth and then buy
Well now of course don't need to buy all coins , I think you can certainly purchase but 5% percent , because I think we're in for another drop !

It depends on what is your goal. It's very unlikely that Bitcoin drops below 3k. The support is strong. Though top altcoins could drop to 30-40% from current levels. So now is enough good time to buy BTC
