221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you lost the money that you where supposed to withdraw from online casino? on: June 08, 2024, 08:52:11 PM
so have you experienced a thing like this from any online gamble site that make you to lose the money that you wanted to withdraw?
No, I have never lost money that I was supposed to use for fixed expenses, emergencies or appointments I had already scheduled. I have lost considerable sums of money, but thankfully in none of those occasions it was money I needed on that respective moment. I try to be careful about that, because I know it's really stressing to need money while not having any. I hate to get into debt and to not have money to honor my word with other people.

Gambling is only going to get things worse if you rely on it for collecting funds to pay your debt. If you feel tempted to gamble money you can't afford to lose, just cashout it faster as possible before temptation overcomes you and you end doing mistakes... Don't ever consider gambling as an alternative for your problems in situations like that. There must be another alternatives to solve you problems, even though they take more effort and time from you in order to be achieved.
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Religious leader barred from casinos because of big wins. on: June 08, 2024, 02:36:37 PM
Do you think a religious leader should be involved in gambling? Do also accept his reason for engaging in gambling?  Are these casinos right to ban him from gambling?
I think religious leaders are humans like any other, so they have the same needs every of us have, including to have entertainment moments to relief from stress of the daily life. So as long as they gamble responsively, I don't think it's an issue at all. However, the fact he is claiming to be consistently winning because God is granting it to him through visions it's worrying in my opinion, because it sounds like charlatanism.

It can be propaganda to give this man some notoriety in your country, so many people will go to him asking for predictions so they can also win from their bets. As consequence, he and his church get more popular, gain more devotees, and make more money, not through bets exactly, but through the people who are going to donate to the church and join his group. It's a profitable business which uses gambling as the perfect propaganda to attract other people who are also looking for financial prosperity...

That is the deal of modern churches nowadays.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not play slot machines-Proof inside on: June 08, 2024, 02:22:15 PM
I think you weren't expecting for that result in any hypothesis, so it's still hard to accept the fact you lost 9 times in a row at slots machine, even though you had bonus activated. These things do happen more often than we wish, but it's not enough proof to claim the game is rigged. Maybe it's time to stop buying those bonus rounds or to move yourself to another gambling games, because in fact, slots aren't better when compared to table games which you can have much more flexibility when making you own settings. Personally, slots always leave a bitter taste on my mouth after a while playing. Tongue
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet against the club you support? on: June 06, 2024, 11:02:53 PM
However this brings us back to the question, would you bet against the club you support ?
Personally, I wouldn't, because I don't feel comfortable doing so. If the club I support is playing a match, but I'm pretty confident they can't win, I just don't bet at all, because it doesn't seem right to make profit through the defeat of something I like very much or support. I would feel ashamed if I did so, as it really sounds like someone who is able to do this isn't a supporter at all, but a practical person who changes from side to side accordingly to what looks more benefical to him financially on the present time. I'm not in favour of such mindsets.

Moreover, I guess that is what the ones you support would expect from you: to be together even on the hardest times and during the defeats, isn't it? So that is what I think I should go for.
225  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is getting addicted to gambling right or wrong? on: June 06, 2024, 10:52:32 PM
So, is it wrong to be too addicted to gambling? how can it be control or how can one manage gambling?
Of course it's wrong to be a gambling addicted. It's a dysfunctionality, a noxious practice which will only bring negative consequences for the individual and for those who are around him. Actually, nobody wants to be with an addicted person and nobody in sane conditions want to be an addicted person. There aren't any advantages on it, only prejudices, so you have to do your best in order to not become addicted to anything in your life, as it will compromise all aspects of your self-development and welfare.

You can control and manage your gambling activity by betting only money you can afford to lose and by never chasing losses. It's when people don't respect and follow these simple guidelines that addiction starts being developed inside themselves. So make sure to watch yourself all the time you are gambling, never succumbing to compulsive wishes from your primitive inner being.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling push notifications. on: June 06, 2024, 09:16:37 PM
Does those push notifications mean that Google has linked somehow my  laptop and Gmail account?

What is the best way to protect myself from such "guardianship" (if any)?
Probably the websites where you signed up with your Gmail account have sold or leaked users' data to shady people on the internet, so they keep sending emails of the same kind to you in an attempt to grab you as a customer for services they promote, or in other cases they might be trying to hack you by sending phishing emails that if you click, you are going to infect your device with malicious data which will compromise your safety and privacy.

The best way to protect yourself is to use alternative emails when signing up at websites on the internet. Don't use your personal email in these cases. Keep your personal email only for trustworthy essential websites, services, friends, family, job and real life contacts. Avoid all the rest.

I know what I'm talking about, because I used to commit this mistake since a long ago in this crypto environment, so I still receive a lot of garbage emails in a daily basis, including those ones stating they have very intimate and shameful records of mine and that if I don't give the sender some Bitcoins, I'm going to be exposed. Cheesy
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling increases computer education. on: June 06, 2024, 05:22:58 PM
However, the introduction of online betting has forced most gamblers in my country to learn how to use the computer. It is now common to see some elderly people using the mouse and keyboard effectively. Most of them have never attended any computer education class but learned through observation. Others might have gone through some level of training from family or friends. I am sure many of them wouldn't have learned anything about the computer if not for online gambling. What are your thoughts?
I receive this story you told with some surprise, because in a modern world where smartphones are everywhere it doesn't look like people need to learn how to use the computer in order to start gambling virtually. The most obvious alternative would be to just acquire a mobile device and gamble from there through PlayStore's apps of virtual casinos. At least, it's through mobile devices that I see most people gambling, because it's much more accessible and cheaper than a full desktop set.

On the other hand, I'm not sure if it would be easier for elders to dominate computer techniques or smartphone techniques. They have difficulties adopting technologies in every cases, but there must be one which is easier to learn than another.
228  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gambling is a fatal mistake on: June 05, 2024, 11:26:51 PM
What could be the biggest reason behind this person giving complete money loss?
Your brother is a gambling addicted. He is out of control and can't manage his own money properly anymore. The biggest reason behind his conduct is hard to be guessed by random people on an internet forum where nobody knows with details the backgrounds and history of your brother and your family. There can be genetical reasons behind it, or it can be just the influence of the environment where he is inserted which endorsed him to act the way he is doing, or even a mix of both factors.

The point is that he needs to change his behavior immediately in order to not bring further prejudice for his family, especially wife and children. He has to stay away from gambling and seek for treatment. Since he can't take care his own money anymore, it's suggested his wage is paid directly to his wife, so she can manage the funds of the family until your brother pull himself together once again. Otherwise, I fear he is going to be left by everyone and remain alone in life, what would be really sad... So, act while it's still in time!
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you really want from gambling? on: June 05, 2024, 10:42:26 PM
Getting instant wealth was what I wanted most when I decided to enter the world of gambling, considering that the multiplier in gambling can be many times the amount wagered.
Instant richness is what everyone would like to have from gambling, even though we know it's impossible for that to happen for real, since if it were possible, gambling platforms wouldn't exist at all, because they would have already be gone bankrupted since a long time ago... For newbies, the promise of making huge consistent profit may be the reason why they have come to gambling, although the reason to remain as a gambler after a while has to be another one, because at some point they will find themselves in a situation where losses are accumulated and profit just can't overcome all the gone money anymore.

Then they have the alternative of continue gambling for another reasons such as to have fun alone or side by side with friends, or to just quit this activity for their own good, especially if they don't have money they can afford to lose through betting. It's always up to each gambler to decide and discover why they feel attracted to gambling, and all we can hope is that they reach the right conclusion, which must be the one which won't infer negative consequences on their lives.
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can someone take gambling as a source of income to he/she life? on: June 05, 2024, 10:06:14 PM
I said let me express my feelings towards this to forum gambling discussion, if their are people who are living in this kind of lifestyle. And what will be your opinion towards the people living in this kind of lifestyle everyday of their life's?
Do you know anyone for real who is living this kind of lifestyle, or do you only see them boasting their luxurious lives on the internet? You have to be careful on who you trust on the internet, because most of the stories you see around aren't genuine. People are used to fake personal experiences, skills and stories in order to look more attractive to the audience and earn followers, views and sell their products. That is how they make a living from.

The lifestyle is just the propaganda and the tool they use to generate income for themselves. And in most cases, probably the income they make from it wouldn't be enough to pay for the lifestyle they are boasting. I've already seen these people renting luxurious cars, mansions and using fake piles of paper money to record videos to their public. So they give the impression it's everything real, while in fact it's not.

You should be aware about that, especially regards gamblers, since we know the more they play, more money they are going to lose, due to the house edge feature, which proportionates the house to have an advantage over games' results, and that can't be beaten on long run.
231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is a fun activity but it has some potential to be profitable sometimes on: June 05, 2024, 09:53:37 PM
I must say that I'm not among those lucky ones and haven't yet made huge profits in gambling but I want to know that do we have some of those lucky ones on this forum who have made exponential profits in gambling? If yes then kindly share your gambling story to inspire others.
I'm not a lucky gambler, because I've already lost more money than I won from my gambling sessions. By some time ago I was in profit. It wasn't a big profit, but at least it was something I could cheer about. Then I kept gambling pursuing more winnings, until I unfortunatelly hit a long loss streak which gave me a massive loss which prevented me to continue gambling for a long time in order to allow me to recover my funds once again. That is my personal experience, and as you can see it's not something positive or that I can continue proud about...

Now I've already recovered from my loss, but I'm not careless regards gambling like I used to be in previous years. I'm pretty aware I can't make a solid and fixed income from gambling, so I just gave up on trying to do that. I don't want to repeat the mistake of the past, even though I was able to recover myself. And to say the truth, I feel more inspired by those who faced similar situations and managed to recover their funds and patrimony than by some jackpot winners, since I know this luck will hit only a minor percentage of the total number of gamblers.
232  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: June 05, 2024, 04:44:46 PM
We're currently in the process of onboarding new team members to enhance our support services. This setup is ongoing, and we aim to improve response time soon.
This is what I was looking to hear for the last few months already. As soon as you have your new support team ready to work side by side with this community things can get clearer, every requests from users can be answered individually and all issues solved. That is the first step you have to take in order to retrieve your trust and reputation with your community of loyal users who have been with you for several years.

Ensure the safety of your platform and make your support work in real time through email and through this forum. Don't let requests from users accumulate, otherwise things are going to get out of control and what you will have is chaos in front of your eyes, as we have been seeing these days here.

Personally, I don't feel confident to keep my funds at freebitco.in at this moment, but if things get right back on track once again, it might be possible to reconsider the idea.
233  Economy / Economics / Re: Labor is really the birth of happiness? on: June 04, 2024, 09:28:36 PM
If a rickshaw driver or a day laborer wants to but cannot become a doctor or an engineer, he has to focus on his profession. What do you say about his change of fate?
I guess these professions you are refeering to should be only temporary in the life of an individual. That is, they should work on this field only until having conditions to move themselves to a better paying career. Rickshaws and day laborers have to save the income they make from their jobs to invest it into further education or to make smart investments, so they will have passive income after a while. Also, through education they can have access to a wider range of activities they can work on and make superior income from it.

Besides that, financial management and focus on long term goals is also necessary. To stay away from bad relationships and friends, addictions and distractions are a must. To be careful to not get a woman pregnant is also something individuals willing to thrive should be aware about. Everything has a right time to happen, and in order to compose a family, a man has to have enough financial conditions to proportionate a decent life to his family.

There isn't a certain recipe after all, but hints and tips like these can help an individual to reach where he wishes in this life, or at least very close to it! The most important aspect is to keep trying, keep working and keep living the pleasures each little moment can proportionate to us!
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can small countries in accepting bitcoin as legal transaction? on: June 04, 2024, 05:18:38 PM
but can other small countries follow in El Salvador's footsteps and what are the country's challenges in this regard?
Yes, every countries can follow El Salvador's footsteps also introducing Bitcoin as legal tender side by side with their local fiat currencies inside their territories. There must be just a desire from regulators regards this matter in first place. And that is already the first big challenge, because most regulators aren't interested in promoting Bitcoin to their local citizens, as it's not interesting for the lobbies, monopolies and oligarchs who run the countries.

A deep change of mindset is demand from individuals in order to make Bitcoin an attractive currency to be adopted as legal tender and used for real by a considerable portion of the citizens from a determined country. It's not an easy task, to say the truth. Lots of personal interests are involved, lack of education and conscience by the masses are another challenges which have to be faced.

Abusive regulations is also an issue when we talk about Bitcoin legal tender, because it's possible governments use this regulation as an excuse to overtax its citizens who make use of the cryptocurrency over their earnings.

There are many challenges ahead as this is still an unknown environment for most people and regulators.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump vs. Biden is almost like Bitcoin vs Fiat on: June 03, 2024, 08:04:33 PM
Its kind of fun to watch, also very funny how when I think about it Biden vs. Trump is sort of similar to Fiat vs. Bitcoin. Thoughts?
That is what the political propaganda wants you to believe. In fact, reality is different than that. There aren't good politicians supporting Bitcoin and going against the evil fiat system. They are all part of the system and will act against independent, autonomous and free individuals as soon as they reach power positions. So, why to waste time supporting one politician or another? It's precious time you have to develop yourself in your personal private life, so use this time at your favour, instead of building stairs for politicians to climb up over you after all.

The truth is that it's Trump and Biden vs. Bitcoin. Trump and Biden want to use you at their favour, while you can choose being used by them or to use Bitcoin in your own favour. What do you prefer?
236  Economy / Economics / Re: Hunger in a country known for agriculture. on: June 03, 2024, 07:15:13 PM
You have to investigate what could be the reasons behind the scarcity of food in your country. Have the population been increasing considerably in the last decades in a way the supply of food isn't enough to feed everyone anymore on the same intensity of before?

Are the productive and fertile lands too concentrated on the few hands of few local oligarchs? Are these wealthy farmers the only ones who have access to farming tools and equipments to produce in Nigeria?

Isn't the inflation out of control, what means food prices skyrocket every few days, weeks or months?

Maybe the problem isn't lack of food at all, but the costs of acquiring it that are inaccessible for most local citizens. Many of us are also facing similar situations in our native countries. Food is getting expensive, the quality of the food is decreasing, and it doesn't make sense at all, since nowadays we have technology, which in theory should be helping farmers to produce more with less effort.
237  Economy / Reputation / Re: To freebitco.in and their representative, TheQuin on: May 28, 2024, 11:17:48 PM
TheQuin last post was related to the deposit issue of 'jper3009'. He took a few months to solve the issue of that user. TheQuin has rarely replied to any inquiries here in the forum in the last few months. I doubt we will hear from him soon.
Actually, it took from 6 to 7 months for that case to be solved... Since then, freebitco.in has been going downhill. I guess the perfect opportunity to cash out funds from the platform was exactly on the instant the high rollers had a malicious script injected on their accounts, and their funds hacked to unknown addresses. We can't put so much trust in a service which doesn't have active support, as it's a clear sign they completely neglect their userbase's demands.

It's sad to see a long lasting and reputable platform like that, which is part of our nostalgic memories ending like that.

Users have been trying to call the attention of freebitco.in's team for their users for so long without any success. For that reason, I really don't think it's going to happen this time. Maybe there is a tiny hope if the main users of this forum pressure them...
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Rise of Autonomous Car Racing on: May 28, 2024, 10:43:16 PM
When we talk about racing, we talk about the drivers, compare their performances, and all other odds but this is kind of different. It is all about betting on superior tech. Would you bet on an autonomous vehicle? How do you feel about placing your wagers on a race where the competitors are machines rather than humans?
I think it's a gambling category like any other. And it seems really interesting. Even though we are betting on AI and superior technologies, there is still a human developer behind it. So the quality and efficiency of each vehicle will depend on the skills of the human developing those vehicles. It's like an action movie I forgot right now the name where robots were put to battle against themselves, but the robots were controlled by human beings.

So despite them being robots, the unique characteristics of each one (which were given by the humans) made total difference on the outcomes of each match. In my opinion it's just a matter of time until this category of gambling gets more recognization and becomes a hype in the sports betting scene. I'm sure many gamblers will enjoy playing on this concept, with serious chances of even replacing the current popularity traditional sports like soccer have.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understanding the Emergence of Crypto Gambling on: May 28, 2024, 10:13:28 PM
Crypto gambling popularity has been increasing since its introduction on the very early years of Bitcoin due to its decentralized and anonymous nature. This way, many people who didn't have any means to gamble back then due to restrictions on their native countries by authorities found an alternative to gamble virtually without revealing their personal data. From that moment on, this industry just evolved more and more, as gamblers demanded user friendly platforms, without bureaucracy and surveillance by regulators who are always avid to tax money from winners.

It's true there is also the money laundering part which must be a reality in this industry, even though we don't know much about it publicly. I guess it's also a very important factor which has been boosting the popularity of crypto gambling along the years.

Right now, due to heavy regulations, I don't see lots of differences between crypto and traditional gambling anymore. The advantages I mentioned above are slowly disappearing as regulations become more present. Anonymity is already rare, taxes are already a reality and bureaucracy is also increasing. At least at the main casinos of the crypto industry that is how it works...
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did/do you handled a gambling addict story. on: May 28, 2024, 04:58:44 PM
Has anyone gambling addict shared his situation with you and how did you handled it? please come clean about it let's learn from each other.
Even though I read lots of stories about gambling addicted people, I have never met an addicted gambler person to person. It must be hard to handle this situation, because addicted people are stubborn and will tend to not take into consideration any advices you have to give them. They will insist on their addiction, even knowing it's harmful for themselves, because they don't want to get rid that pleasure feeling the addiction proportionates them on short term.

I believe you can only handle addicted gamblers if they have genuine desire for overcoming that addiction. Otherwise, it's just going to be a waste of time from your side to try helping them.

The point might be to trigger that genuine desire on them. Then we could start thinking on strategies on how to do that.
