why would it need to start again and what would that even entail? Makes no sense. Chain works fine and token is being traded across multiple exchanges.
Zoin could benefit from a pool at this point but I can understand there isn't much juice in that squeeze for the operators.
Taking something over is like sport, it generates adrenaline and agitates ur blood stream. Flawlessly working chains have to be taken over from time to time, this helps to refresh the image of the project and boost ur confidence as an investor to unseen levels. |

what is the specifications to PoW and whether this is still a hybrid coin - or just PoS now?

the algo is script, the POW blocks have value 0 and they are only used to move chain, there are about 5000000 POS blocks, so its just POS coin. thank you for asking this question, it helped me find small error in POS amount of blocks, i will push update soon. ok - tanx ... and you are welcome at the same time ... so pushing PoW will be a useless effort for a miner ... we would have to buy ( or otherwise come across ) coins to stake in the wallet ONLY ... pity ... i think this is a great concept - and one we have worked on in a different way for a little while - but just dont see how a PoS only situation could be of benefit to the network in its entirety unless you actually have a huge number of wallets open and a huge number of users on the platform being forced to have their wallets / daemons active all the time ... PoW reward would be much more beneficial to entice miners to come into the network and stabilize it with their hashpower ... ill watch and see how it goes - and if you decide that a PoW reward would be good and change it from 0 to something worthwhile - then we will consider turning thefarm to mine here also ... i appreciate your response ... #crysx the coin is only created as a thank you to everyone that donates and support our web portal development, it will be also usable on the portal and traded on exchanges until all supply is burned. There shouldn't be this option: "Continue until the unclaimed coins are swapped:" because there are people who probably forgotten about 42, lost their wallet due to data corruption and could be used to troll, someone could say "There's one dent left! We can't continue until this dent is swapped!" There would be no moving forward.
That could be a possibility. I would prefer we go with option 1. If you don't like the other options vote your coins to something else so the last option will not win. I would suggest transferring leftovers and unclaimed dust to better place - to chinese cryptsy. Tomorrow is 3y anniversary of 42 coin launch on cryptsy. Trading should be resumed here. |

Their team is not know by anyone I know or talk to and we have seen with the dao what can happen when an eth smart contract is used. This AE spells bad news man, be careful. Name one major token sale that run with an Ethereum smart contract that has used an escrow then come back. Most token sales use multisig addresses with signatures held by multiple parties, and that's a fact. Not sure what Aeternity will use but the team has replied to you several times that they will announce all the terms when things are ready for the public. The voice of reason will speak up pretty soon, revealing to us that one of the main priorities of this project is exactly a quick buck crowdfund campaign programmed into a smart contract.
