We probably have one week before Gox is officially dead, considering current price fall rate on other exchanges they will be in a week probably somewhere at $450. After that, Gox will be dead and BTC will have some negative media attention, so I guess price will continue to decline, but at slower rate. It will last probably around 2-3 months. Question is where it will end it's decline, well probably somewhere around $200-$250 after that we will have 2 months of slow increase and then new rally, just as nothing happened |

Gox @112 less then hour before double-digits. This will influence confidence of traders on other exchanges, at least I think so... 100 is a significant number

What will be the BTC price on other exchanges if mtgox price goes to 0 ?
MtGox doesn't sell BTC, BTC you can't withdraw is not BTC, USD you can't withdraw is not USD, so it's actually irrelevant, because other exchanges sell actual BTC. Also, MtGox did so much harm to the BTC community in the past, so it gives me impression that price of BTC will actually go up if MtGox stops to exist, BTC will say... FINALLY! |

This whole forum is in a state of denial right now. The chart is in the "denial channel" as someone called it. "we've found bottom", "it's not going below 580", "look at the news", "this is just because of gox", "gox is going to cause a huge rally when news comes out", "$1000 in a couple weeks", "youll be sorry you didnt buy those cheap coins", etc. It sort of tells me that this ISN'T bottom, and when I look at the chart all I see is down down down.
You are wrong, look at the technical indicators and you will see divergence. |
