Your method to include the images seems to work just fine.
222  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Time to clear SEPA transfer at Mt.Gox on: July 08, 2012, 09:05:51 AM
Mine was released yesterday, so June 26 -> July 7, that is a whole 11 days instead of the expected 1 day for a SEPA transfer (the money arrived on their bank account in Poland on June 27).

I don't buy the "AML checks" argument, which seems to be used as an excuse, as my account was marked as "verified" already. I smell something fishy, but I can't tell what for sure.

In my experience bitcoin-central isn't very fast, but decently reliable. At bitmarket.eu you'll have to be lucky with the seller. If you had mentioned it 2 days earlier I could've told you which offer was mine (the Dutch one) and I could have insured speedy delivery (SEPA = max 2 days, so you'd have had the coins today). Mtgox is Slow, very slow. Anyway, none of that really matters now I guess. Good you managed to get some in last week Smiley

Mmm, if you sold 55€ on Jul. 3, then I was the buyer. I did three buys from bitmarket.eu, and all of them cleared in two days max.

Note that bitcoin-central just updated their fees page a few hours ago: now, a SEPA transfer from them is correctly listed at a 0,99€ flat fee, instead of the previously stated 15,00€ fee.

Quote from: FAQ Instawallet
Q: I sent Bitcoins from my Instawallet and they have not arrived yet. What happened?

A: Please be patient. Instawallet currently includes no fees in transactions (this feature is planned however) and as such they can sometimes take a very long time to confirm.

If you have any reputation you can temporarily borrow the coins.

I don't. And I understand why I wouldn't get a reasonably priced loan without it. Which is why I didn't even try Smiley

Given how lengthy this is to convert fiat into btc, I undestand the need for having some BTC piled up into an offline account for when you need them. Right now, the fastest for me (starting with EUR) have been bitmarket.eu and bitcoin-central.com, although their EUR/BTC price is higher than on Mt.Gox. I'm also currently evaluating bitcoin-24.com, SEPA transfer has been done today and should arrive on Monday (next business day).

Fortunately, I could get some BTC into the GBF last week, and I'm eager to see how it performs.

Because of Mt.Gox currently holding on my incoming SEPA transfer for 10 days now, I won't be able to increase my participation to your fund.

I'm really happy with the diversification and the reduced pirate exposure that went on this week.
232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: SEPA to MtGox takes very long on: July 06, 2012, 08:46:25 AM
I just received this reply from Mt.Gox:

Quote
Due to more stringent requirements, SEPA deposits are now being checked for AML and therefore, it is taking a slightly longer time to credit them until the checkup is done.  We thank you for your kind understanding and patience in this matter.

I don't know what to think about it, given that they asked me for more information about my payment when I first inquired about where the money was, as if they couldn't find it in their books. Now, it is supposedly because it is "checked for AML" (note that I had sent Mt.Gox my ID and proof of residency before since they want them before accepting a SEPA transfer), but they don't give any timeframe estimation about when I will be able to use the money that I trusted them with (one hour, half a day, 24 hours?).
233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: SEPA to MtGox takes very long on: July 06, 2012, 06:32:15 AM
You're more lucky than I am. My SEPA transfer was initiated on June 26, and my request (ticket #31225) has not been resolved since it was opened on June 30. My transaction message started with M81, but I already told them all that.

Did you provide useful information related to your transfer that could help them find it for you? Like, your IBAN, BIC, Bank, Name, Amount sent, date sent, destination IBAN and BIC (MtGox' account details, because they have many accounts in different countries).

I provided with everything they asked me to, that is the bank, the account name, the date sent, the destination BIC+IBAN, the amount, the label, and even the transaction id as shown on my bank statement. They haven't asked from my IBAN and BIC.

What is troubling is that they haven't told me once that they didn't receive the money, only that they're "investigating". Although I use bitcoins in small amounts almost since day one, this was the first time I sent money to an exchange (two of them actually, and the other exchange received the money the day after and credited my BTC balance), and I never imagined it would be such a hassle when it was sold as a pretty simple and fast operation.

My ticket number is at Mt.Gox support is #31225, which is open since June 30. I even got the transaction number from my bank.

Some software can import wallets from other software (Armory can import wallets from older versions of bitcoind). In the future, wallets could even be made compatible by implementing the same new address generation algorithm.

Mt.Gox seems to be having issues handling SEPA transfers right now.
238  Other / Beginners & Help / Time to clear SEPA transfer at Mt.Gox on: July 04, 2012, 11:28:34 AM
Hi.

I've initiated a SEPA transfer from France to Mt.Gox account (in Poland), and 8 days later this has not been credited into my Mt.Gox account (nor cancelled by my bank). I contacted Mt.Gox support which asked me to confirm the bank and label used in the transaction, but I can't seem to get an answer from them for the last two days.

A SEPA transfer done early on day X should be credited no later than day X+1. Not having any news of this money in 8 days is worrisome. Is it common for Mt.Gox to take so many days to process an incoming transaction?
