221  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: March 20, 2014, 06:55:07 PM
i am using your API to receive bitcoin
but from 03/18/2014 to now it get error
when my customer send bitcoin to new address bitcoin created by API , they don't send bitcoin to my account and it can't run file callback .

check it , only have 1 Transactions , it need to make 2 Transactions , one receive bitcoin from my customer and one send bitcoin to my address bitcoin and call file callback .

https://blockchain.info/address/1DufSyUhYfaAw1iG51RGmTgSizkDukguWq
https://blockchain.info/address/1Gg31ETUSnEkddUx6JUHkQNpQEewEw2sv2
https://blockchain.info/address/17kvK4QUJCctocbBLnGip8yHbQTEP3biGb
and so much ,
my customer angry with me , but you don't send bitcoin to my address , and it don't call file callback , fix it please
Same problem here:

https://blockchain.info/address/1G5hfHPzd9MTwMdAvJoHu6i35csmHi8vmU
https://blockchain.info/address/1AVuusT9P11wmWyj3TzJRVp5zmsKi3dgxQ
And many more...

Same with me...

Got a response from support saying: "We are still fixing a few issues with the API. The funds are not lost. They will either get to the destination or be returned. Please wait for a bit. Sorry about the inconvenience."

Key part of that being "or be returned". If funds are returned to the customer I'll not be especially happy, considering some emailed rather angrily, forcing my hand into processing their orders.
222  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] VisitBit Advertising w/ Geotargeting - From 0.000001 BTC per UNIQUE visit on: March 20, 2014, 11:18:16 AM
One of new advertisements makes problems. It redirects to adf.ly URL shortener, which jumps out of Visitbit frame with JavaScript. Then it goes to the shortened address, but Visitbit does not pay for the site, what is worse Visitbit keeps serving this advertisement again and again, so one cannot skip it. I would say such malicious advertisements should be rejected. Seems that adf.ly redirection is a kind of rotator and redirects to some scams like "enter your phone number to download a file", which in fact subscribe to premium SMS services.

Yeh I've had a few emails about that site and it has since been taken down.
223  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] VisitBit Advertising w/ Geotargeting - From 0.000001 BTC per UNIQUE visit on: March 20, 2014, 12:40:56 AM
is your site only for dedicated countries? i get very little ads, always get we're all out

Some of the ads are restricted to certain countries yes. We probably get on average, about 4 or 5 new advertisers per day. The difference with us is that once you view an ad, you can NEVER view it again. A lot of PTC sites operate on a 24hour unique basis, whereas we're 100% uniques.

I may however, build in a pricing model for people who would prefer to place ads (at a lower cost), for 24 hour uniques. This might help things along more for certain users.
224  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [CoinPayments.net] Shutdown Information on: March 13, 2014, 11:00:03 PM
There's an announcement on the site saying they've been bought over. It doesn't however, explain if there's any downtime as a result. Which, as a merchant, is rather unnerving.

From my experience they're the most readable captchas around, Solve Media. Can you screenshot it in a PM for me?

People *were* getting payoffs. Up until the very, very end.

That's how a ponzi works. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme

Jesus Christ people, ponzi schemes have been around forever and they always, always, always implode and end badly for the people involved.  How can you possibly be involved with a scam that tells you up front that it's a scam?  Oh, you thought you were smart enough to get out before people started getting scammed?

That's the whole mechanism of a scam.  Find people who think they're smarter than the scam.

My friend keeps telling me that bitcoin is a ponzi scheme and I argue otherwise, but if it were a ponzi scheme, apparently there are plenty of people involved that would still be happy to buy in.

sheesh.

+1

Clue's in the name folks.

This surely doesn't belong in the Project Development board......

I say this, because it's sole purpose is to make you ad and referral earnings. Surely weusecoins is a better resource?

be prepared for foreigners trying to contact you trying to get you to fall for their scams.

Xenophobic much?

238  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: freebitco.in is a BIG scam on: March 10, 2014, 12:05:59 AM
The bastard SOB running the website freebitco.in should be shot and fed to Kim's dogs in North Korea.  Dont waste your time with this piece of shit.

What an absolutely pointless thread. Why is it a "BIG scam" exactly?
239  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [CoinPayments.net] Shutdown Information on: March 09, 2014, 10:01:42 PM
I don't know the details, but I have heard that they've been bought out. Hopefully this means that they will make the necessary changes and continue on.

I hope so. I rely on it for their litecoin merchant tools. Haven't found another service as good as this. If they don't reopen, I'll be forced to stop accepting litecoin. Pretty gutted actually.

Basically multiplayer hangman?

I notice the guesses are quite long in between, and only 1 letter at a time. Is there no way to guess the entire phrase in one go?
