I've used btcquick and they were good, but with coinbase giving instant deposits, once you have reached the limit, is btcquick going to lose business?

What is to stop anyone who has a coinbase account, starting up the same sort of business and selling for less than the 7% margin?

Phil

We accept customer from around the world, coinbase does not, We offer truly instant transactions(payment clears and you get your coin), coinbase varies from "instant" to a couple of hours.
We do not have a 30 day waiting period for our members to purchase bitcoin instantly. We will be adding bank account integration with competitive rates.

Thanks,
-Ascension

Hey Ascension,

I'm looking at an order that's taken a little more than an hour now to fund the private key...anything you can do to speed things up?

My order is #8205.

Thanks!

The private key was funded not to long ago. In the future please post in our support thread, it is in my sig.

Thanks,
-Ascension

MAC, are bank deposits as fast as CC?

Bank deposits will be just about as fast. The delivery will be dependent upon the age of your account and other factors. The maximum processing time should be < 24hours.

Googlecheckout will no longer supported on Nov 20, 2013, is the business going to be affected? what is your plan?

Google Checkout is shutting down but not Google Wallet. We will transition to Google Wallet when google checkout is no longer available.

Do you anticipate zipmark to be online and functioning well before this transition period?

We are working closely with Zipmark to launch this feature ASAP. We do not expect there to there to be a transition period as Google simply flips a switch. We are also looking into other options for processing payments in order to ensure redundancy and continuity of service.

Thanks,
-Ascension

Btcquick stock price hit 0.0002. Almost double in a week. Thanks for the effort in growing payment method. May I ask how many members are there in your team?

Ascension and MAC are the only two people involved with btcQuick Cheesy, keeping it lean

Alrighty, well I'm currently waiting for authentication now so we'll see what happens.

Also, I was sent a code via text to verify my phone number...but there's no place for the code....

Simply reply to the text with the code or click the short link Cheesy

Reheheallyyy? That is quick.

And the Bitcoin deliveries themselves are on that same pace I presume?

As for the coinbase bullshit I was referring to...What I said was a misnomer, the coinbase SITUATION is simply not "Bitcoin". Bitcoin is a highly speculative commodity ruled by fickleness. Buying with coinbase presents an obstacle to overcome as it's hard to sometimes predict how a market will act in a week and after the first few minutes you can't rescind a payment. I find their business model slightly advantageous if one is buying buying bulk for long term, due to coinbase's convenient pricing. But as for the rest of us that need BTC...well quick, it doesn't offer the same benefit.

Bitcoins are delivered as soon as we receive payment confirmation. Typically that is 5-15minutes as well but sometimes a bank will flag the transaction and you have to call them and authorize it.
228  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: High risk to Coinbase- wtf on: July 12, 2013, 05:43:55 PM
I know this has been covered over and over again but I too am now part of the club that coinbase has cancelled on.  I received my notice today despite my funds clearing my bank account two days ago.   When I asked why, they would not give me a reason other than to tell me I'm now white listed and it wont happen again.  I'm guessing they're hedging or trading reserves despite what they say.  I bet this would not have happened of the value of btc went down.

What's ironic is that even before this first transaction I got a notice that they increased my transaction limit.

You can a give us a try. 5-15min verification. After that nearly instant delivery of bitcoins!

That was actually my next plan of attack.

Your post comes at a great time because I was actually wondering how long the verification process would take.

I've been trying to get my hands on some BTC since it hit 60 and have getting all the more frantic as the price has started to come back up. I'd do local transactions but there's no one nearby me.

We have a dedicated rep for processing memberships so typically 5-15 minutes.
230  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: So I Just Created My New Bitinstant Account... on: July 12, 2013, 05:13:26 PM
you're lucky, it was nearly impossible to create my account.

finally i was successful and even had to call my mother to ask what she paid for a house almost 20 years ago in order to merely in, not to transact any money or add an account.

now i have an account but get only errors when trying to buy BTC.

bitinstant doesn't like money. i have been trying to give them some for almost a month but gave up

bitinstant = bitnever (as i saw someone else post)

You can always give us a try. We are hoping to have bank account integration soon.

Ive been keeping an eye on these guys for a bit, and before buying stocks, I was curious how this system works with the end user .

I just bought a membership, after paying the $1.99 and sending a copy of my ID, I was verified.

Unfortunately, they appear to be out of stock of Bitcoins right now. To me, a business that is constantly out of stock, will never turn a profit. These guys definitely have a great business model, but they have some kinks to work out. So it really depends if you have faith in the people running it.

i would look more positive to it like a shareholder. Company, which is out of stock is better than company with full stock with negative cashflow... it means growth to me. but surely, it is management failure in some way, so we need to see an improvement in near future

Its doesnt need to be failure in any way, I think they just got blown away with their estimates because of the last days buys of BTC. Iam pretty sure stock of BTC was higher.

surely it could happen that way, but personally i would take it like my failure if it would happen in my company  Wink

We ran out of stock because we did double out daily average... All I can say is that people seem to love us and they are sharing us with all their friends which is a good thing.

Just wanted to post a review of btcquick.

I got verified very quickly (with great communication from the staff/owners about needing specific documents) over the weekend. Placed my first order and got it funded within an hour. Also got a subsequent order (after getting bumped up in the membership level) funded quickly.

Overall the turnaround was very quick, painless, and almost "instant" (comparing it with BitInstant).

The fees are high, but nevertheless you get to use your credit card and probably not have to worry about PayPal and the crazy eBay markups (or sellers never delivering the bitcoins).

I would highly recommend this to anyone just starting out to buy or having trouble at various exchanges. This was a great service for me over this past long weekend here in the US.

Looking forward to their bank withdrawl support as well as lower fees.

Glad to hear! We are still awaiting word from Zipmark about when we can launch.
