221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: March 13, 2018, 11:53:32 AM
Well, I will not be able to mention all what impress me about Bitcoin, but the thing that impresses me most is who bitcoin is gaining trust so fast that the number of its users is getting multiplied every day, also you can compare the price of 1BTC two years or three years ago and the price now, I think the most optimistic person in the world will be impressed by such evolution.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: March 13, 2018, 09:13:27 AM

If you don't have a lot of bitcoins, i think it is quite safe to keep them in online wallet. Of course if you have more, you should keep them in cold storage. It is not that hard to make one, and it's probably safest way to keep your bitcoins, as long as you don't lose/destroy it.

I really wouldn't recommend you to keep bitcoins in exchange, you probably haven't think of it, but if you did then don't. It's very risky to keep your bitcoins there.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: March 13, 2018, 07:14:13 AM
The worst case scenario that can happen is bitcoin will going to die since nobody is using it. It will be just there hanging on nothing and it will not go on it's cycle anymore that's why it might disappear when that happens. But let's hope that this thing will never happen because it is really a not good idea that bitcoin will be not going to use by everyone here. It is really impossible, bitcoin is really popular for that kind of thing to happen.
224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: March 13, 2018, 06:28:31 AM
Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p

Despite the fact that you split your money into different crypto currency it is the same thing as you didn't diversify your investment capital into different investment opportunities because if any thing negative should happen to crypto currency generally all your investment will be gone. So, I will advise you to invest some portion into some real sectors in the economy to reduce the risk of losing your capital. You can further seek experts advise before you invest all your money into crypto currency.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: March 13, 2018, 06:07:08 AM
Maybe because the man or male they have more knowledge in technology they are more active in finding new through internet. And more on female they are more busy in household and they rest or sleep in their free time while the boys thier relaxing way is to play with their gadget for online gaming  or like read news or stories about bitcoin. How they can fine extra income for their family.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: March 12, 2018, 12:57:53 PM
I too disagree on bitcoin eliminating unemployment and making people rich because its a hard job to do and you need to constantly keep on tracking on news and information regarding bitcoin. For me unemployment is not just because of lack of job but its more because of wrong person choosing wrong job and failing in it.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: March 12, 2018, 07:50:47 AM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?

Well 100 years is a very long period, we will not be here to see if Bitcoin will survive after this period or not. We can only predict and that's still not sure. In my opinion, if everything is ok in the world for the next coming 100 years, most likely Bitcoin and the crypto currencies will survive. But if something happened forcing connection to cut for example it would be impossible for Bitcoin to survive as it is dependent to Internet.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: March 12, 2018, 06:34:24 AM
Yes, I truly believe in the concept and future of cryptocurrency. It is an alternative way of spending money through this thing. For now, cash basis upon spending is more reliable way of spending than cryptocurrency. It has a potential of being more reliable than cash because it can transfer wirelessly and with no money to trade with. It is such a good idea that will be a thing in the future. I hope that more and more people will believe in this project.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: March 12, 2018, 06:18:41 AM
I do not rule out that bitcoin can be overcome by other cryptomonets in the future but this will not happen in the next few years. People who have nothing to do with cryptovalues know only bitcoin and for this reason the general adoption phase will happen first with bitcoin than with other coins. When then the average user will be able to join this technology we may see overtaking by other cryptovalutes that can be technologically more advanced
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: March 11, 2018, 04:41:39 PM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

I do not think so, I guess they are not aware of what bitcoin is and how it works. It is hard to believe at first even I do not accept it as first and I thought this will be a waste of time. I think they are thinking that bitcoin is fake because the currency is just circulating only in online world, they can not touch it or something that they can spend it directly from their pockets. They also have no idea how you earn money from this. They have no clue how you will get paid and where do they get the money that they will pay to you. even I do not know how but I know that I can earn money through this.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: March 11, 2018, 04:02:28 PM
I don't know if it is possible that bitcoin will die in the next few years, but i think when bitcoin dies it would also affect the other alternate coins, because mostly those were based on bitcoin itself and just the difference are just the uses and their purposes, but still as what like others said, it depends to what is the reason on the bitcoin's extermination.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: March 11, 2018, 11:26:35 AM
It's true that day by day the most of the people are getting worried about the future of the Bitcoin, I think the rising price is the main responsible for this happening. the price of Bitcoin is becoming higher and higher. people are becoming afraid of the future of Bitcoin.
On the other hand, Bitcoin is getting accepted in many countries and online platform, so that the use of Bitcoin is increasing day by day. if you look at this perspective then you may find a consistency in creating the platform.
That's why you have to take a careful step regarding joining in this system. After my calculation, I think Bitcoin will survive a long period of time.
233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: March 11, 2018, 10:26:22 AM
The risk of holding Bitcoin is dependent on the owner, if the owner doesn't know how to protect their wallet, if their wallet is not encrypted or if they give out their private keys, hackers can get hold of their bitcoin, I think that would be the riskiest part of holding bitcoins. If we don't protect our wallets and hold our Bitcoin, we are risking it to be hacked, however if our wallets are protected, we have lessen the risk, and the next risk is the value of Bitcoin that we hold, still we can further lessen the risk by investing on education, so we can handle how we can profit on both bearish and bullish market.  Cheesy
234  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: March 11, 2018, 10:19:16 AM
I try to have a day trading sustainable stack. I also try to diversify my protfolio when doing long position trading.

I usualy only use 20% of my stack for trading stack!

Using the usual trading strategy. I buy low and sell High. If the price goes down I try to average buying more at even loewr prices. as soon the price goes up I sell. If the price goes up to a certain % (depending on the volatility of the trading asset I set a profit\loss %) I sell and wait for a new retracement to buy another position. Of course there are other nuances to it but this is mainly my strategy.  Smiley
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: March 11, 2018, 09:43:55 AM
The people are against bitcoin because they can't believe the potential of the bitcoin, they will imagine that it is not possible that anything can give this much of profits. And the another reason is maybe it sound like a scam when they hear about it is is in digital form so they can't able to touch the crypto so they will always say bitcoin is not true. But in future everyone will understand what is the bitcoin but now it is hard to them to understand about bitcoin.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: March 11, 2018, 06:03:20 AM
I'm still very young, so i don't have a though to have children yet, near in the future.
For me, now i'm investing bitcoin for myself. So after i graduated from college, i already had enough assets and can live my life well.
But maybe after i have a proper job and many bitcoin savings, i'll spare some for my children in the future. So they will have a nice life and doesn't need to worry about anything anymore.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: March 11, 2018, 03:27:01 AM
There is always this possibility that someone will  take the seat of bitcoin as the number one cryptocurrency but no one can replace bitcoin in terms of what it has done to the financial and investment world.   Pioneer will always get the credit even if it become obsolete.  But the demise of bitcoin depends on the decision of those who have the authority over the changes and implementations of bitcoin
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: March 11, 2018, 02:39:05 AM
This is a good thing if we advsrtise it thru television since it is on public and possible to see by many even internationally. But then there were pros cons with this move which may affect bitcoin totally, those who really do not want bitcoin they will turn to bushers and bush bitcoin publicly which is not good on the image of it. And also who will make the movement of advertising bitcoin? It is so expensive to advertise on television it takes thousands just for few seconds. Also the government will make this thing first if they will approve if bitcoin will appear on tv or not.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: March 10, 2018, 06:16:50 PM
Bitcoin is most popular cryptocurrency because it was mother of cryptocurrency or the first cryptocurrency ever made, Thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto. Also some coin just copying the algorithm, etc or just develop what's already in the bitcoin and make his own coin. But some cryptocurrency actually have really good features which is bitcoin don't have.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: March 10, 2018, 01:49:47 PM
I think that the government is not really afraid of bitcoin, what they are afraid of is people waking up from the ugly truth hat they are just mere slaves of fiat for over 300 years now and they would lose a lot of control to the people of their jurisdictions. If they started to use bitcoin regularly over fiat, that means they are slowlh losing grip of their people for their own personal gains, which they absolutely don't want to happen.
