221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not make curiosity to people around you while you are playing gambling. on: September 05, 2021, 11:10:19 PM
Many of us are started gambling out of curiosity because we have seen it in our parents and friends but since we know now the harmful effects of gambling, we should play discreetly out of the eyes of our kids and those who should not be gambling like jobless people, there will be a right time for them to play but not when they are young, so yes I agree that we should not let our children see us gambling.

Even we don't want out children to saw us playing gambling, in the long run they'll found out that betting would be a form of entertainment while having chance of winning lucky profit. Eventually you'll be the one who used to influence them by means of role model to them. What I suggest here is to minimize those activities and educate them that this type of activity would not give us benefit in long term. Open them the potential effects of gambling, and don't hid what reality is.
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do you watch crypto chart pattern on: September 05, 2021, 10:45:38 PM
The basis of our analysis comes from what has been shown in the past but never think it all be the same as the volatility of the market haven't changed yet. All the things that have to come still at 50/50, we all just be guessing but with the help of the chart, we have some insights into what might happen but still, we have no assurance. Even if was that the case, this remain helpful to the traders.

We should be careful on every analysis made, because it's only our basis on times of uncertainty. Volatility always made it so hard when sudden drop that caused panic, eventually some coins will tend to have downfalls with an unexpected situation.
To help you cope up with worries, don't monitor too much the real time market movements. Just stick at your projections in order to sustain.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is only new to the newbie on: September 05, 2021, 03:22:11 AM
I am still not surprised that many people leaving in this era still don't know about Bitcoin or digital currencies. I was discussing with some one about bitcoin and it's achievements over the years and how this past few years has gained massive ROI for investors and he was so concerned about how people got scammed using online platforms giving negative attributes to Bitcoin to him bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme.

Many still find it difficult to accepting this digital era because of their past experience with internet fraudsters and looters who made many bankrupt when ponzi was introduced. How do you think this stigma can be dealt with and how do we get people out of this so the don't get left out due to their FUD letting them settle on their negative notion about crypto generally would only make them aggressive with crypto investors and would still see the world the way men in the 80s saw it with lots of limitations

I want to clarify things about ponzi, with respect on bitcoin there's a lot of schemes that used btc as their mode of investment without even letting the holders handle their asset. What they only offer to somebody was the promises that they'll earn more than their capital, and through huge expectations many innocent people fell on their traps and lost a lot of money.
Newbies without proper understanding what digital currency is, they're more vulnerable from ponzi scheme offerings.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [WARNING!] For gamblers using coins.ph on: September 05, 2021, 01:15:07 AM
I tried to send XRP to one of the gambling sites I'm using, but I was prompted with this message.

~snip~

Therefore I'm suggesting everyone especially from the Filipino community who are constantly transacting from coins.ph to a gambling site/s or vice versa. The BSP is already monitoring us, and if we submit the information and put a gambling site as a recipient, we might be sanction as gambling is illegal in our country and it's part of the TOS of the coins.ph that sending coins to a gambling platform is prohibited.

you may refer to the complete terms of services of coins.ph.

https://site.coins.ph/user-agreement

Quote
Prohibited Uses include transactions or activities related to:
(c) Gambling: Online gambling, lotteries, casinos and informal gambling, gaming operations, sports betting, and other games of chance and forms of speculation;

That's clear for us here, regulations in coins.ph was really emphasizing a strict rules against gambling, because of an issue of legality.
However, the accusations should be supported with strong evidence if being suspected. For those traders with involvement with illegal gambling activities, better stop or else you'll face charges against them or possible sanctions.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum reach 10k? on: September 04, 2021, 11:57:24 PM
Can Ethereum really reach 10k?
And if yes, when can it reach 10k?
Ethereum is at 4k currently.

We can't further speculate for a fixed price while current price doesn't show any bullish trend. What we're experiencing nowadays was just a normal trend in accordance to bitcoin market, because both of them was really doing an amazing performance with respect to eth and btc trading. Recently price was nearly at $4k and expected to go towards $5k, without specific time depending on how the market behavior changes.
226  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Earnings from Axie Infinity and other NFT games are subject to tax, DOF said. on: September 04, 2021, 11:34:44 PM
So safe parin ang mga small time players dito.
227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your thoughts On the crypto trading simulator? on: September 04, 2021, 11:12:11 PM
Even though there is no 100% working trading signal, there are several platforms that offer a crypto trading simulator, e.g. crypto parrot 🦜 which offers such services to enhance crypto traders’ skills and development that guarantees trading profits. I have not tried it out but will like to hear from users who have used such services in crypto trading.

What are your experiences and recommendations?

My experiences wasn't that good, because there's a trading site which involves stock market that promotes trading simulation for me given $10 as a good start but eventually doesn't work for me. All simulator won't be effective, because it would rather push you more interest with trading but unfortunately in reality you'll be losing.
Much better, buying coins with huge potentials and hold them at trading sites then sell them once promising value will be reached. You can start at binance with a small capital, unlike with simulator you don't have fear of losing.
228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: At what Age will you introduce your child to trading on: September 04, 2021, 10:36:43 PM
Cryptocurrency these days became popular to different age levels whether it's young or old. Trading was the first part that introduced me to this kind of money making, that's why I begun to knew about cryptocurrency, then recently developments continue to grow and crypto games started to venture digital currency.
Right now I educated my child at an age of 14, he had been playing games associated with crypto. Slowly open up his mind towards how the money works while playing his favorite NFT games, as well as trading his earned reward tokens.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are athletes also becoming problem gamblers? on: September 04, 2021, 09:50:05 PM
Wealthy and top earning athletes had the tendency of playing gambling for their lifetime if they had huge amount of money from their career as a sports personally. Mostly, they don't care for the money they used to gamble because of huge quantities but when it comes to addiction it's by case to case basis.
We're dealing with attitude here, addiction will fall to those who can't control themselves and letting the situation made them slaves of gambling.
230  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or altcoins on: September 03, 2021, 11:59:46 PM
Still bitcoin is my biggest choice, and altcoins was just a second options on my holdings. Those old days wouldn't be happening again because that's my way of learning. Maybe I failed many times of not choosing Bitcoin, but now this is my strong foundation of success.
Altcoins did some lucky ways to provide me several benefits, but also have shakin my world due to lost opportunities and wrong decisions. That's why I made a strong motivation to stay stronger with bitcoin in the next future gains I'm going to have.
231  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Give me some investment advice on: September 03, 2021, 11:36:16 PM
I will use about 80%(About $2000 per day.) of my funds every day to invest in cryptocurrencies.

Can you give your suggestions? For example, 20% btc futures, 20% altcoin, 60% btc spot.

And how are your funds allocated?

I advise you to start an allocation at least $100 right now for ethereum, because one day it will reach the top value of $10k in 5 years. Same with other coins like xrp and bnb, those were promising assets that I think having great potentials in the next coming years. Though we've seen some saturations but I am strong in fate that it will go bullish in perfect timing
232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How cryptocurrency trading have helped the youth. on: September 03, 2021, 10:57:14 PM
One thing I am aware about the youth and cryptocurrency in my country right now was their diversion of mindset over fun and profit. Because of that most of them right now was having desires to play crypto games from NFT project like axie infinity, my defi pet and other rising games which soon change the ways mobile gamers compared from their typical games that doesn't give them an income.
Basically these days, provides an opportunity for the youth to play and at the same time earns reward tokens which they'll able to trade then have fiat money for their needs.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB be worth $1,000? on: September 03, 2021, 10:25:46 PM
Will BNB be worth $1,000?
The value of BTC and ETH is determined by consensus.
The value of BNB is determined by the credit of CZ, but it is threatened by regulatory policies. If Binance goes public, the value of BNB will rise or fall, I think the value will fall because the value of BNB will be decoupled from Binance’s profit .what do you think?

There's no concrete answers for that at this moment, it could be a rumors circulating against binance. We should observe what reality will be in the future, and as binance continue to prosper and many projects consolidate with them news like this begun to burst out badly.
If holders would catch this idea, there could be a fall of bnb which gives hungry buyers the opportunity to buy cheaper bnb that gives them more brighter future before $1k will be achieved.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining is not profitable enough! on: September 03, 2021, 09:39:10 PM
Maybe it wouldn't be profitable enough when you can't even build a rig that couldn't mine transactions efficiently, particular with the energy consumption. That's the a huge factor that affects our ROI, because some other mining farm used energy efficient mining equipments that competes with the evolution of cryptocurrency.
For those who mined transactions using less efficient than rigs, I guess they're struggling on overheads instead of earning much higher profit.
235  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fees? on: September 02, 2021, 11:59:31 PM
So, I made my first 'day trade' today. I thought I'd done well to get ~ $5 margin from it, but when I went to check the actual profit it, it was only ~ $1. What gives?

I'm using binance and I think it said the fee for spot trading was 0.075%? I checked the order history and it said it had taken around 0.00001120 BTC in fees. Okay, fine but where has the other $3.60 got to?  Angry forgive me if I'm being dumb somehow but that sort of fee seems awfully high for one spot trade.

When you trade with small amount don't expect too much gain, and of course fees remained fixed there's nothing we can do about it. That's the implemented standards of binance, also with other exchanges it could be much expensive or higher depending on their current status.
However, don't get upset but rather pursue and continue trading as well.
236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The joy of trading the spot market on: September 02, 2021, 11:36:24 PM
The chances of losing in spot trading isn't big compared with other like futures, because you had a freedom on your holdings. It's up to us when to do the trading and you can actually set your target price based on your goals. Once it will hit the bids, then successfully you're going to take your profit.

Cost averaging is what I am applying on every actions I did, because that's very important on your buying and selling. Without that certain skills, you won't sustain because sometimes when it drops you already sold or even bought an asset without remaining buffer. That's why we needed skills in order to continue trading with minimal losses.
237  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit $100,000 before the end of the year? on: September 02, 2021, 11:16:06 PM
Hello.
Can this really become true and if it possible i will be come rich and lambo because to me my life is going to change if it reach this level.
Most of my investment is in Bitcoin.

If this current pump we're experiencing today will continue to soar next month I am confident that $100k btc will be reached. However, if new comers will took the risk then other will dump when there's opportunity to sell and their gains I guess price will saturate. There could be a tendency we will see $100k in year 2022.
238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investors their mind on: September 01, 2021, 11:57:38 PM
It's joyous to make gains in trading. The problem is how does one control his mind when there is a huge lose

A huge lose was a disgusting feeling, some people even committed suicide when stress and depression went at worst case. When trading has been managed like gambling, there could be situations that you become uncontrollable risking all over funds for no assurance assets. Most often when there's profit, you won't be satisfied then look for another coins to trade without knowing you're losing much higher instead of gaining sustainable profit.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Warrington vs Lara II -Sept 4 on: September 01, 2021, 11:15:37 PM

~snip~

For sure, Warrington went into hell but it seems that he can recovered mentally as he requested a rematch and wants redemption. On Lara's part he wanted to proved that it was no fluke.

You can watch the highlights of the first fight here.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUKdjN9OUxg

And here is the betting odds, Lara is no longer a huge underdog, but Warrington is still the slight favourite.

~snip~

I think Josh will box his way through a decision win here. He can't go brawl with Lara this time as the Mexican has the power and a tough chin as well.

Here's the explanation of Sean O'Hagan towards Lara that he's been overlooked.
https://youtu.be/A-062GWxxOs
Based on his statements Josh will be fighting differently on this match, compared from previous fights he had with Lara. Somehow going into brawl with Lara, definitely he can't beat the power of this guy unless he's lack of training. But as of now, I'm confidently seeing him having higher advantage compared to Josh even though there's commendable praises came out from Sean.
240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dont get sad over what could have been on: August 31, 2021, 11:20:33 PM
Hey guys! I wanted to compile a post from past and current information given to me by others and advice given to me by others.

If you had cryptos in the past and could have made lots, to kick yourself over it. If you get caught up over what could have been, you will go insane. So focus on the current time. Good luck!

It such a very disgraceful experience if I would like to remember the days wasted and I could have $40k usd, if I choose to hold those previous btc's I've made. Those were times of abundant days, but it could have been so rewarding when I'm able to use patience on my trading.
Many times I used to advice other friends to have patience, but myself I couldn't do it so I have to move on and focus on present times.
