381  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has fallen below 30,000. Is there still room for appreciation in the future on: July 20, 2021, 11:49:19 PM
Since Musk banned BTC from acquiring Tesla, it has plummeted. When will it rebound? Smiley Smiley Smiley Kiss Kiss

There's already some articles stated that Elon Musk said Tesla again accepted btc as payment, then why this statement came out regarding banning. Can you please send us latest link that this was really true? Maybe we're just making it exaggerating, and we don't know the real side of the story yet. There could be another reason which is more serious compared to Musk's statements, we shouldn't be too quick to judge now.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigerian government changing the state of lotteries on: July 19, 2021, 10:43:00 PM

~snip~

So what the government is going to do :
1. Make sure revenues are in order
2. Monitor the lottery system
3. Spread it all across
4. Better management
The reason why the government is doing this is because they want to look for a revenue source which is not only sustainable but unexplored in Nigeria.
There still will be laws and risk factors which the businesses have to adhere to in the upcoming days. Therefore it's not only going to be a profitable business but at the same time it's also going to give government huge revenue from the same.
Let's monitor what happens in Nigeria and let us hope that the revenue, taxation, rules, regulations won't be that harsh.

This issue is seriously undertaking the whole country right now, and if this was totally settled for good I guess it would provide benefit for the entire country. Hopefully it won't be abused and come to a point that corrupt takes place. Every country was facing those challenges, and it's the worst thing that I'm sighting to observe due to greed leaders.
383  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading needs consistent attention and full concentration on: July 18, 2021, 11:50:58 PM
considering the fact that trading is highly profitable and responds majorly to knowledge and skills, this means its needs full attention and concentration consistently. i have  noticed alot of new and upcoming trader gets carried away easily with little profits or loss. this makes many to quit or feel complascent. becoming a good trader is like going to a school, you do all necessary things consistently without any distraction untill you succeed. this is one of the things that i feel is needed to incorporate into trading learning process and lifestyle.

Indeed, that school is within our personal drive towards trading because it can't be done without a capital. If you don't have enough starting capital to use as an entry of a desired coins you're planning to trade with, we can't earn bigger profit. As a good start, make use of the extra saving you had and don't let that money just sit without growing. Studying in trading should need guidance from expert, so seeking mentorship from a companionship is my best advice.
384  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Tips for Trading from Beginner, For Beginners. on: July 18, 2021, 11:30:11 PM
5 Tips for Trading from a Beginner, For Beginners.

1. Check market sentiment
2. Set loss/profit (really important)
3. No emotions, only believe in your analysis.
4. Do not click any button yourself, a trade should over with a stop loss or take profit.
5. Never 100% on one trade, 20% amount with x3.

This is what I learnt in my 30 days of trading and so far, I am doing really good.
If any of you have some tips for me aswell, go ahead.  Wink

Based on my years of experience, that 30 days isn't enough in order to be called successful. Maybe it's effective if you just have bounty coins or tokens came from airdrop, because you just don't earn that money from job or whatsoever. Learning to trade as a beginner, couldn't have a shortcuts, it need dedication and determination to achieve good results. Most probably 1-3 years will certainly give you enough skills.
385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Using BTC only for Trading? on: July 18, 2021, 10:55:46 PM
That's our own personal prerogatives, whether standing btc all alone for trading can be our best choice to prosper with our asset. Before we can do it, lets have a strong foundation until such time it can establish the right momentum. Trading during bear market has a lot of challenges situation, particularly with volatile movement which I think difficult to handle when you don't have proper mindset.
Always study the behavior of the market, and never take the risk when you're not certain because it might put your money on danger of losing.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy some low cap coins on: July 18, 2021, 09:16:08 PM
one of the best low market cap coins 2021

1. Matic Network (MATIC)
2. Zilliqa (ZIL)
3. Blockstack (STX)
4. SiaCoin (SIA)
5. Docademic (MTC)
6. SelfKey (KEY)
7. Basic Attention Token (BAT)
8. Linda

Did you recommend this coins to us? Thanks for this projections, I could take a serious review on each of them so I'll be able to acquire a good choice. Without any study, we can't decide which asset will be best for our holdings and if you failed; you can turn back time. Sometimes, taking low cap coins will just progress within few months so better be careful on that certain aspects.
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anything particular causing these declines? on: July 18, 2021, 07:33:34 AM
Is it our friend Elon Troll Musk again?

No it's him but those fud around us which kept playing and manipulating the market situation. Whales is now taking over with the current price volatility, and as they pushed towards their target; small investors suffered the most with emotional side when market got red days. Market recovery has no proper and accurate projections which couldn't coincide on our perspectives.
388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to do a defensive trading strategy? on: July 17, 2021, 11:17:13 PM
Defensive trading strategies are strategies wherein you take less risks and less profits.  It doesn't really equate to much in the long term but if you are quite unsure on the investment that you are taking, then probably taking less risks and less possible profits is the way to go while you're still learning the ropes of the investment that you're taking. You can also consider stop-losses as defensive trading strategy, as you are trying to limit the losses on your capital and trying to save something for your next ventures.
^ I also think the same as yous, the defensive trading strategy is that having a stop-loss which is you can minimize your losses and another way is also on spot trading or even the basic one, the buy low and sell high no matter what the time frame. This defensive trading as I understand is that when you trade that is less risk and to ensure that your capital was not easily wipe out. Nevertheless, there are still guarantees that you can do this thing since the crypto market price is being unpredictable.
The unpredictable market give us more hope for our asset, but someday we will realize it's importance. To prevent losing, we should keep holding and don't just dump you coins for non sense. Know you limitations, keep and eye of the market and monitor every fluctuations so you won't miss every updates.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: July 16, 2021, 10:58:45 PM
I kind o like feeling in control of my finances and that means controlling my spending and being very aware of what goes in and what goes out. I normally check my accounts every month and may make a few decisions on what to spend next month if things are not looking correct. One of the things I do is to set aside 10% of my income for things that I really do not need - expensive clothing, gadgets and electronics, books, games,... and part of that is gambling. For me, a reasonable gambling budget is 3 to 5% of my income, although I may allow more if I have some extraordinary income that month. How do you plan your gambling or fun budget?

I can't plan to bet a money that's out of my main job's earning, that feels so bad to loss a hard earned money compared to a money from bounties or airdrop. Budgeting is needed for us to prevent sudden loss of funds, you don't know one day you'll be suffering from financial struggles if you treat gambling so serious. This shouldn't be a priority, but rather consider it as a second options in life.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or playing? on: July 16, 2021, 08:48:03 PM
I am sure most of you have played videogames of one short or another and many have noticed that may offer gambling in-game options - I am thinking mostly of Role Games and MMPORGs -  like implementing a casino or some short of fortune game. As an old example, Fallout New Vegas has an in-built game called Caravans, but you can play blackjack, roulette, etc... Newer games that are free to play or cheap to play offer lotteries that award prices such as unique or rare in-game items...

There is currently quite an effort on using these techniques in games that should not be about gambling or chances playing and some people may find undesirable. Is this going too far? What type of effect may this game on underaged players?

Most probably, there's chances of addiction, particularly young people is capable of drowning themselves on mobile games. How much more when there's a gambling platform that used this type of betting, and yet when you're playing at least there's earning a winning profit in the long run.
391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be too desperate to make earning on: July 15, 2021, 11:12:20 PM
I hope that it can be realized by those fainted hearts and to think that trading is not a tool to make us rich instantly, but sometimes this could bring us losses very quickly. Because we are too positive with the results but still we can never expect that it went so well, losses will certainly be happening to all of us as a part of trading. If we can understand the situation, it is for sure we know that profit can't be obtained without sacrifices and patience.

Learning will takes time, and so the profit will follow next. So it means that if you start trading now, you can probably make decent rewards a few months later, not by tomorrow.

Of course we can achieve our goals when good coins was accumulated on our holdings, but thinking about decent rewards after months can't be certainly meet. Sometimes it might take about years before you really feel the benefits of your investment, because market usually recover slowly. Maybe during bullrun months, but in reality hype was only a trending situation which people believed we're already experiencing bullrun.
392  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you aren't reading you shouldn't be trading on: July 15, 2021, 10:01:34 PM
What else do I do with my time if I can't devote atleast 8hours every week to refresh my memories on what it takes to keep the profit flowing knowing fully well that different approach works on different market conditions. Some times scalping might be the best and in some cases positional trading might be the best. But in all the sole aim is to make profit I total agree with you @Op we need to read and re-read to gain full mastery

Indeed, reading too much can cause us more stress on our trading desires. Much better if we just ride on with the system and take it easy for good to avoid more pressures. Making profit will be an easy goals, but if we apply our knowledge based how the reality of the market works, that's beyond theoretical aspects.
393  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin price not in a good Hight. ano masasabi niyo ang dahilan si Elon ba...? on: July 15, 2021, 03:08:42 AM

~snip~

394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: July 14, 2021, 10:37:15 PM
What do you think of sexy casinos? Do you think it's a good thing? Have you ever tried any? What is your favorite one?

I haven't tried any of those, but if there's a chance that I can experience this kind of thing with sexy casino's why not? As long as entertainment will be worth it, and I don't really matter on how much I'll be getting on winning amount as long as fun is concerned. Pleasures and gambling is most exciting, so I expect this gonna be wonderful ways to attract more customers to play casino.
395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strategic tips experts use to trade Bitcoin on: July 14, 2021, 08:32:12 PM
Patience and emotion management should take place before anything else, because being an expert on trading you became overconfident if you just look on predictions. Have a quicker thinking when you see a profit that's going to come out and don't let more expectations to hinder your potentials.
Trading bitcoin sometimes, give us difficult times to handle specially when FOMO happens. That's why we need knowledge, so my tips for this; always use cost averaging method in buying or even selling.
396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Manipulation Logic? on: July 14, 2021, 07:30:19 PM
Greeting BT Users,

As I am involved in the crypto world for the past 3-5 years and closely watching BTC when its price was around $400 - $700. When the BTC first pumped in 2017/2018 than it creates chaos in the whole world and more and more users are attracted because of the profit they see, but when the price suddenly down and BTC dumped to $5000 from $20k then a lot of new as well as experience users lost their money and also trust from Cryptocurrency.

Recently BTC again pumped and the price reached $60k and was predicted to touch the target of $100k but again the BTC price dumped around $35k - $38k. From all this pump and dumped I did not yet UNDERSTAND that why and how this happens and the difference is huge. BTC is considered the king of the crypto world and it causes the price Pump and Dumped of all the coins. Also Crypto market is untrustable as any person having a status/huge bank balance can easily manipulate the market as Elon Musk did.

Any expert can explain the reason behind those huge pump and dumped of BTC?
Just look at the chart, same pattern applies on the previous history of pump and dump of btc price. It's really surprising to see, and I believed we're about to see more opportunities coming. That's sounds unpredictable, but we need to be determined in order to become successful within the long periods of time.
397  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Tungkol sa encryption application sa dekstop on: July 14, 2021, 04:01:37 AM
Hello guys,

Which can lead to more fud and more price dump.

399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 13, 2021, 01:41:04 PM

23 July - 08 August  TOKYO 2020

This is a place to discuss all about the Olympics 2021, Discussion & Predictions.

I'm just curious how this going to be like the previous years same with no pandemic? How this could be possible to come back to normal olympics without any hesitations despite of the continuous coronavirus threat to people. Gambling bets this time might not be too good, since limited participation and audience should observe health safety protocols.
400  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why can a piece of news from the Chinese government affect the price of Bitcoin? on: July 13, 2021, 09:53:25 AM
On July 6, the Central Bank of China closed down a Beijing-based company that provides software services for virtual currency transactions, and reiterated that no institution within its jurisdiction should engage in such transactions.
After the People's Bank of China reiterated its long-standing anti-crypto stance and warned institutions not to provide services to crypto-related companies, Bitcoin cut its earlier gains.
Why does the negative news from China always affect the price of Bitcoin? When does Bitcoin become less sensitive to negative news?

That doesn't affect so bad at all, and what I see right now is the stabilized price of bitcoin which is currently building a strong momentum. My perspective of the situation of btc even though there's an ongoing negative news, potential market spikes will tend to occur someday. Unstoppable market will cause a panic buying, once there's a trigger point that might arise.
