621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for Holders! on: March 12, 2021, 11:59:29 PM
The pandemic is not blessing for us but we have seen a huge change of Bitcoin price and broke all the records before. In this time of a year ago with compared to the present time, we can see a huge change and Bitcoin is up almost 1400%. Isn't it huge?

The next short term target is $60000. For now, next target is new ATH.

BITCOIN is for Hodlers
Not for weak hands
(I had read it somewhere, can't remember right now)

We can't judge a person in his actual standing for finances, because on my personal experiences I was weak too. But if there's a better chance for us to acquire small portions of btc in the next chapter of bearish market, then do it. This isn't about for holders but for everyone who wanted to do trading and investment.
622  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your exit price(s) on this bull run? on: March 12, 2021, 11:35:34 PM
Seeing quite a few predictions here based on log charts that BTC is going to 150k, 200k, 400k, etc. by EOY then crashing 50-90% in '22. If you think the markets are going to follow this pattern a la 2017, then what are your exit points and reentry points? These could always change but I'm interested in what your medium/long-term strategy is to capture most of the anticipated highs of the bull run.

I would be having a goal of $70k then I'll sell my 30% holdings and take my profit. I won't sell all of it and do an exit, because there might be another chance that the price would rapidly increase in the next few years. That's a good assurance instead of dumping everything or being greedy.
623  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC/USD Price Analysis - $72,000 will be the first target on: March 12, 2021, 12:59:44 PM
It's too early to celebrate, just think of $60k at first place before moving towards $72k. This gonna be much awaited, and I guess it's not taking an easy steps reaching another ATH. Our analysis may fit on that range, sometimes failure on expectations matters when there's an emotional involvement.
We don't know how traders and investors managed themselves, because this about our future and finances.
624  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: need help plesae for receive bitcoins on: March 12, 2021, 11:56:48 AM
hello, I have a problem.
I wanted to receive bitcoin from a poker site specializing in bitcoins.
I gave my address to receive the bitcoins and cash.
on the poker site the transaction has been carried out, I no longer see the amount displayed.
now i have been waiting for the transaction on my electrum 4.0.9 wallet for 23 hours.
I have an hour left before the transaction expires.
here is my transaction address: bc1qjd8azcmpp2v3kp94zfp3lj9pdm4rtwrt9jta5m
when I go on the blockchain the amount of the transaction does not appear, we will say a phantom transaction.
what should i do, my bitcoins are lost after expiration?
have I lost my bitcoins?
Thank you for answering me.
cordially

Wait until such time the confirmation will be finished, network congestions happened during peak hours. It doesn't mean you couldn't receive the funds that you need to send, because we need to be patient on this situation. Eventually, you'll be able to see your btc within 24 hours or lesser, I myself experienced that situation and most probably everybody in this forum went through that.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site for esport? on: March 12, 2021, 09:48:52 AM
Hello, which crypto betting site is the best for betting esport?
I have played esport on ggbet (limited now), vulkan (the same) and 1xbit (scammed me).
I'm looking for website with such markets like 1xbet/bit has but with crypto.
I play leagues like ESEA Advanced, mostly lower tier tournaments.

You can check those advertised through signature campaigns here in bitcointalk forum, they're more reliable than mentioned sites. Be careful in choosing who's best among them, because scammers took advantage of our desires. Selecting the prospect in betting with eSports should be done carefully, you should be a fan of that game you wanted to bet with.
626  Economy / Speculation / Re: If this $64 billion ETF approved, Bitcoin could surpass above $60,000 on: March 11, 2021, 11:46:26 PM
I'm still waiting for that outcome of ETF approval but I'm so happy to see that price is heading towards to $60k. As we expect to surpass on that level, I think we need more months or even years to go further. Possibly it's now happening that another etf is currently striving harder just to make everything to success without any hindrance. Bullrun is performing sustainably and building stronger momentum to achieve another higher targets.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people care who Satoshi is/was? on: March 11, 2021, 11:17:09 PM
Why do people care who Satoshi Nakamoto is/was? It's like wondering the name of the person that created the wheel. Sure, I suppose I would be curious about the name of the inventor of the wheel, if nothing else to raise a beer to them from time to time, but ultimately the wheel is the important part of the story.

As an investor of certain business it's very important to know who's the person running the system of a business you've part of. But with bitcoin's anonymous identity of its creator, there's no way for to determine that discreet information regarding that very significant matter towards confidentiality. People don't literally care in way that there's nobody reveals a certain things, they're just ignoring it by virtue of no choice.
628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How way you choose way to saving Bitcoin ? on: March 11, 2021, 10:19:45 PM
Hello Everyone,

I just curious, How way you choose to saving Bitcoin ?

Example case, You have 0.01 BTC on your wallet now, will you saving on 1 address or you will splits the Bitcoin be 10 address 0.001 Bitcoin each.

I would prefer making my bitcoin holdings to be split by two because it's hard to do in multiple. I might lose some of them unknowingly because that's too many. Though we may secure some back up, but that doesn't guarantee it's safety, so it's always important to do it optimally.
629  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin could win the currency war on: March 11, 2021, 08:49:23 PM
What's my entire assessment here is only the exaggerating information that came from mainstream media, but the reality between China and US was really in a cool behavior. All the rich people is behind the dominance they're arguing with, just depends on their financial power. But it doesn't mean all over war, because what we're combating right now is the inflation of fiat currency in every country.
Bitcoin has no price regulation, and it's price increases according to the demand coming from investors. There's no competition between bitcoin and fiat currency, they're classification is entirely different with each other.
630  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade + study = great combination on: March 11, 2021, 02:29:59 PM
I came across this article and definately want to share it with you: https://techbullion.com/best-5-crypto-social-trading-platforms/

It's worth reading if you would like to start crypto trading and don’t know from what and where to start.

Just imagine, “you simply let someone else develop the trading strategy for you by directly copying the exact same trades they make”. In addition, you can analyze and study the crypto market and strategies you followed, and interact with the traders.

I agree with the author's choice. Those platforms are interesting in their own way, and traders of different levels and with different goals can find the right platform.

Coinmatics is a new and fast-growing platform that will be good for beginners since it has a user-friendly UI and intuitive tools. I think almost everyone knows about eToro, and it is the best match for advanced users (just check their multi-functional platform). Zulutrade has a huge education base in addition to forex and copy trading. The fans of cloud-based systems will like Zagnaly and Shrimpy. I am fascinated by this discovery in our crypto world. What do you think about such crypto copy trading platforms? If you ised some of them I want to hear your experince.

I haven't experienced anyone of them that has mentioned, just sounded unfamiliar to me, yet those exchanges isn't popular. I need to review their background before I'm going to develop certain confidence about their trading operations. Maybe that's good for beginners as a part of their stepping stones as a trader, but I do recommend well established exchange sites that's stable with their trading volume.
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: March 11, 2021, 12:06:55 PM
So I bought BTC at £9000, made a nice amount. Is it a good idea to now sell this and move that money into alt coins? or should I  sell half BTC and buy back in after alt season is finished?

What do you think?

Don't sell if it's not really for rush, just choose to hold it longer instead of quickly dumping for good. Day trading can be better when you see market has an ongoing pumps, buy when it goes down slightly then sell when it goes up. That's how you do it, but always have the 50% portion of asset remains in your wallet for long term investments.
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Declares War on Bitcoin (?) on: March 10, 2021, 11:59:17 PM
Its just trying to make those reasoning to be on concern with pollution or saving up the environment and the planet is just a bullshit thing that they say.

They arent banning just for that sole reason, they are against or banning it just simply its uncontrollable. For a country does have this kind of government then its no surprise that
they would really be hating anything that cant be controlled nor traced.

They can ban all the want and try to derail the true reason behind. They are just trying to push that Digital Yuan. Am i right?

It's a huge conflict if they try to impose that kind of actions regarding banning bitcoin. Communist country is very problematic on this matter because they can't control digital currency. Their people prefers to use bitcoin for earning passive income instead of their own currency, which I think they're about to lose control over it.
633  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin eventually crash? on: March 10, 2021, 11:17:11 PM
Bitcoin's rapid price development from 2020 to 2021 makes people feel a little crazy. From 6000 US dollars to the current 54000 US dollars, huge profits and capitalists attracted us. Overthrow the dollar hegemony? World currency? Block chain? Decentralized? , There is no substantive thing as a guarantee for this. To be honest, I also have investment, but only for profit.
If you're afraid it would crash, then don't do long term holdings because you may be frustrated when it drop so bloody. The rapid development was indeed a historical past which everyone of us didn't expect to happen. Hopefully we'll able to experience bearish market once again to have another opportunity for those who didn't able to grab their sustainable profit.
634  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk and BTC on: March 10, 2021, 07:56:36 PM
After announcement that Elon Musk invested billions in btc, the price that was already high, skyrocketed just in a couple of days. A lot of rumors about huge wall street investors started to appear. But I have a very short question. Which "Wall street" or other professional investor with clear mind would invest in THE MOST VOLATILE COMMODITY IN THE WORLD   after it reached $57 000

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/

I know that I will be attacked by BTC supporters, but you are welcome.

In my own perspectives about that massive pumps after Elon's investments, I am grateful that the outcome is good. Despite of the volatility of the market, it doesn't fail with our expectations because many people who've been patiently waiting took their profit. Regarding the amount invested by Elon Musk, I don't think declination of price would tend to occur badly because it now became a strong pillars of btc which I believed this guy choose to trust.
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can government shutdown Bitcoin on: March 10, 2021, 07:05:43 PM
That won't happen, bitcoin has its own freedom as currency and it circulated within internet blockchain network. Government can only regulate what's within the jurisdiction of law, which particularly involves fiat money because the economy was control by the system within a specific country law implementation.
It would only be shutdown if internet communication will be banned for use in each individuals, but that's not possible if you're in a democratic country. But, for those communist type possibility of banning bitcoin as part of regulations can be implemented.
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a gift cards on: March 10, 2021, 02:06:26 PM
It is just another use case of bitcoin to make the no coiners use it easily. But it is no different from the way we spend it for purchasing things, online or physically.

It may seem easy to hear as you can receive or give bitcoins as a gift card for the receiver has to spend it or can simply do the same as we do and that is to hold too.

That depends on the end user for how they wanted to utilize the gift they have received. I would like to suggest, that having gift like digital currency should be cherished and don't spend it at glance. Take it as most valuable, because bitcoin nowadays became so expensive and we don't know we might see that the price would go beyond limitations. Profit would certainly become more efficient as time gets older.
637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin price is so volatile? What are the major factors that drive it? on: March 09, 2021, 11:38:18 PM
I am wondering why Bitcoin price is much more volatile than the stock market?

Let's just stick with Bitcoin only.  Bitcoin have a market cap close to $1T as we speak and, yet, its price is still so volatile.  Is it because the availability of bitcoins in the market is low as most people (especially the new institutional investors) are hodling?

Is it fair to compare Bitcoin (or crypto market as a whole) to a stock market like SP 500 (which currently has $31.61 trillion market cap)?  If so, Bitcoin cap is only 3% of the SP500.  Is it because of its relatively lower market cap which make it easier for its price to be manipulated (i.e., by a pump-and-dump)?

What do you think?

Price volatility hasn't changed for Bitcoin and also with other following coins, that continue to change everytime fluctuations happened. Manipulation? I don't think so because whales is now a part of its progressive growth. Even though we've seen some corrections but it doesn't hinder the pumps happening these days, and the community contributes on worldwide demand which is a big factor for continuing increase for its potential profit.
638  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t Panic III on: March 09, 2021, 11:10:16 PM
but toke, if people don't panic, how am I going to get my 20k BTC again? *whine whine* My last two sells coincided with the dumps too, unfortunately haven't sold anything above 50k (don't be mad bro, just my bills and stuff).

Judging from journalist queries waiting for responses now, editors are also keen to see if the "bear is here" story's got legs left.
*I dream every night that I can buy Bitcoin at the price of $ 10k/coin again 'lol'...
right now the Bitcoin price will be very difficult to get below $ 30k. which panic at this time is the small traders and miners who sell their mines. I still hodl a few satoshis for long term investment.
It's not impossible for our dreams, let's hope we will able to buy cheaper bitcoin in the future and get enough profit. For now bullrun was still presently performing an amazing record. Time comes for a reversal and I had a visionary that when bearish market happens again, more traders will accumulate their asset and purchase bitcoin quickly. Because if that opportunity will provide more chances to late investors, bitcoin will pump 10x of its present value.
639  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is over $54,000, hold or sell? on: March 09, 2021, 10:05:24 PM
All of us are talking about this bull run is encouraged by institutions.
Suppose as an individual, will you sell your bitcoins at a good price or just hold them?

I will only sell what I need to spend for my personal consumption, and I wouldn't dump everything I have right now. Regrets will only stress us out during the time of opportunity which you don't care all about, so for now I've learned that lesson. Bitcoin is really surprising, we don't know tommorow we'll see $60k or even $70k price will be achieved.
640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking a loan to buy Bitcoin? on: March 07, 2021, 11:29:56 PM
I think what we are seeing right now is a rocket that is launching. I want to get on this rocket and I think any minute it could be too late as there is already all kind of heat shooting out of the rocket. It is hard to get on at this time. So I am considering to take out a loan of say 20.000 Euros. It wouldn't kill me if it fails but I don't think it will fail. Even if it crashes it will come back 2 or 3 years later. And yes we might eventually end up seeing prices of $100M per Bitcoin or maybe $1B. I am saying this not so much because I think Bitcoin is a great invention. I am saying it because I think the Euro and the USD are currently collapsing. Now since Elon has gotten on others will get on. And eventually the government can not make Bitcoin illegal anymore because too many people are heavily invested.

Do you think taking out a loan makes any sense? The problem is that right now I can not do it because due to the lockdown my income is too low. I would have to wait for the lockdown to end. Then I can work night and day for a month so that I end up making like $7000 within a single month. With that I will easily get a loan of 20K maybe even 50K who knows?

Do you think it is worth it? This might be a once in a lifetime chance.

I don't recommend this idea of taking loans my friend, on my personal experience I did an attempt to loan just for that purpose but I was declined by banking agent. They never trusted the purpose for cryptocurrency investments, but partly they're right in the first place. There's no assurance when you're going to risk in trading, however if there's an opportunity to buy bitcoin at much lower cost from it's price as of today I would love to take chances using my savings.
Using that money for long term holdings could potentially gain 100% profit in the future.
