221  Economy / Speculation / Re: What does this mean for BTC is stock market is entering recession again? on: December 23, 2019, 11:21:30 AM
Despite a serious stock market recession will mean that people will have less money to spend in general, it depends on the speed of the recession. If it is slow, then people will shift to cryptocurrency for better gains. If it is fast, then every asset will initially suffer. I think cryptocurrency falls into the speculative side of investing at the moment and in an economic downturn money usually moves to more stable conservative investments like gold, bonds, etc. thereby, I'd predict a downturn in cryptocurrency price if the stock market crashes quickly.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Trend Reversal in Progress? on: December 23, 2019, 10:45:47 AM
On Sunday Bitcoin (BTC) price revved up to rally from $7,115 to $7,642, providing a 7% gain and an unexpectedly strong weekly close, which now has some analysts suggesting that a trend reversal is in the making.

I don't have a cow.
After all it's Bitcoin.
I think, to understand if you are in an actual trend reversal you have to look at the structure, do some technical analysis, and find where resistance and support lines should be. In my own opinion, It's a bear market, then short the jumps. usually if it is an upward trend you will know a dip will still bounce back. It is all about price action. If you have a minor upward movement but in the bigger picture the market is still on a down trend then you shouldn't buy in. You just have to do your analysis first.
223  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is the perfect time to sell BTC? on: December 23, 2019, 10:14:44 AM
It depends on your investment strategy and investment risk profile. if long term and medium to high risk then hold and use dollar cost averaging to increase. If short term, low risk then why would you invest in crypto? sell now and choose cash or bonds. Investment for the future is all about knowing what you want to accomplish and choosing the appropriate financial vehicle to achieve it. I'm 34 and crypto is only a small part of the vehicles I've chosen. However I'm also looking long term maybe 5-10 years or more in investment terms, and have a high risk investment profile. Crypto fits nicely and I won't be selling any time soon.
224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: December 22, 2019, 11:56:19 AM
I am prepared myself for trading. But i need some suggetions from here. There are many way for trading in cryptocurrency. But i need correct one which is profitabe. I am prepared myself for day trading. Is it profitabe?
The potential is pretty high for get a lot profit, probably higher than most people make if you’re good enough. the reality is that most people aren’t successful. for one, Focus on consistent profitability, then figure out how to maximize your gains from that without taking on too much risk. However, If you want to become a professional trader then don’t limit your options. You can trade without hemming yourself in to day-trades. There are any number of option strategies where you can make 40% to 50%+ annually and more reliably, but that may take days, weeks or even months to develop.
225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Psychological Mistake of the Beginners Traders on: December 22, 2019, 11:09:42 AM
In my own opinion the more doubts you have about your edge and strategy, the more heavily psychology comes into play. If you know with fully confidence your signals, your take profit and stop loss, your risk and your expected draw down, then it's easier to have the correct psychology to execute your trades as planned. That's why I have a problem with over emphasizing psychology, because even a perfect psychology won't help you at all if you don't have an edge and a super reliable strategy.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: December 22, 2019, 10:52:07 AM
Don't worry with your investment. I think there’s a global acceptance that cryptocurrencies are the future even by governments, but they might not openly say it. some governments are quite transparent, are created and controlled cryptocurrency. this deviates from the Bitcoin type of model, but it’s an acknowledgement by some governments that crypto is the future. However, the current scenario is that huge sections of communities in the world especially US, Japan, South Korea, etc are in favor of bitcoin, and the price will get large momentum very soon.
227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: to be able to get a large profit in today's trading is very difficult! on: December 22, 2019, 09:30:34 AM
I know it’s very hard and difficult, although I believe that, with proper risk-management, proper strategy, and adequate knowledge of technical analysis, one can profit in the crypto market. Rules and guidelines for any plan or set up is as easy as A,B,C,D. but we lack control and carry zero patience. That’s why simple trading becomes hard. Risk management is all it is. I go through this everyday and I know how hard it is for me to hold myself back. I find it really difficult to keep the money. Making money seems easy at times keeping it and walking away is very hard.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: xrp to 28$ on: December 21, 2019, 10:43:13 AM
hello everyone I see that much of traders company and wheels speak about xrp that could hit 28$ I would like to know what do you think about is this possible ?
I honestly cannot understand how people think it may hit $28. Let's be realistic. $28 x 43 Billion XRP would give it a market cap of 1.2 trillion. however, If this currency survives I do not see how can it remain at such price as of today in the long run. I heard many experts saying a number of $5-$10 per XRP in the future and also something very important, they said also that Ripple will be a mean to store value in the future. that means not to pay attention to ups and downs too much but rather stay firm in your decision and keep faith in it and the role it will play someday until we reach that point
229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying bitcoin and several altcoins on: December 21, 2019, 10:10:29 AM
It is good time to buy top 20 cryptocurrencies, especially bitcoin for the long term. It was also a good time at $13,500. Bitcoin is shit for short term taking and jaw droppingly incredible over the long term. HODL and don't trade, and learn everything you can about this revolutionary technology. for a long term, looking at either crypto in general or Bitcoin specifically, I strongly feel there are only two possible options: Either it fails to take off and value goes to nothing or it becomes acceptable outside of the narrow and highly technical niche community it is currently in and value is several orders of magnitude more than it is now. I think the latter one is likely to happen.
230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Candlestick patterns on: December 21, 2019, 08:44:55 AM
I think reading candle sticks aka price action is a great primary way to be a successful trader, but the best traders don't learn every pattern and don't need all of them. they just find two or three patterns or techniques that work consistently and simply implement them over and over again. I would recommend a tick chart instead of a time based chart and look into a strategy with a deep understanding of trend lines and even market geometry. It is my opinion that anybody who uses any indicator besides the EMA is just using an imaginary clutch that does not help.
231  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good time to buy BTC or Gold? on: December 20, 2019, 01:16:57 PM
Both are excellent investments. gold is free from all taxes and value-added tax. It's your number one anonymous asset that can help you during periods of money printing on steroids. Bitcoin is also amazing, it is an easy way to store wealth but it can do so much more. However, it needs to prove itself during the next financial crisis. I think around 2021-2022 is when we are for the next recession, and we never had bitcoin during a any recessions. Thereby if your portfolio is big enough don't put all eggs in one bag. Just put 60% in bitcoin and 40% in Gold.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which are your recommendations for best coins to invest in 2020? on: December 20, 2019, 12:16:37 PM
There is no such thing as best crypto at the moment. only crypto with real world adoption will dominate this space in near future. most of the coins are only speculations at the moment. Bubble will burst like with dot com bubble and only projects with real use case will survive this purge. I agree with BTC and ETH hence don't mess with anything else until you are more comfortable with crypto. there is a lot of shit and a lot of cool things but BTC and ETH are lowest probably to go to zero. BTC still rules the market and it and ETH are very liquid too for trading. ETH also has a chance to blow up big with it's changes coming in 2020.
233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin a Good Investment? Does Hodl Work? on: December 20, 2019, 10:59:35 AM
Yes, Of course. according to PlanB, stock to flow model has a 95 percent accuracy when it comes to predicting the price of Bitcoin. the price prediction is based upon how much stock there is and based on how much flow which would be the amount of mining each year. after each having the monetary reward gets cut in half so the stock to flow ratio drastically changes. Utilizing the stock to flow methodology you can predict an upwards of over $120,000 at the peak and then it should settle back down at a true value of $40,000 until the next halving in 2024.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altseason Has Almost Arrived For Altcoins. on: December 20, 2019, 10:46:51 AM
In my opinion, you shouldn't fall into these delusions that Altcoins season has arrived or that anything else has to happen. just trade that thing and take advantage of the volatility. It doesn't matter if BTC dominance is 60% or 70% next. you can make profit anyways. trade instead of holding and keeping your fingers crossed that someday we will go to the moon. the moon boy mentality ain't good. It makes people blindly jump in on moves like the one when bitcoin jumped from $7,000 to $11,000 in 24h in October cause they FOMO in again and again believing that This Time we have to go to the moon. They want you to FOMO in and buy at the moment.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Venezuela & The Bitcoin on: December 20, 2019, 08:42:04 AM
The Venezuelan situation is by far the most meaningful example in Bitcoins 10 years of it being used by to protect themselves in a hyper inflationary economy. this is why we do what we do. Bitcoin is directly helping people escape the worst possible financial situation a person can experience. Before Bitcoin, there was more even more misery for people with crap governments. The people switching to Bitcoin have no reason to trust government currencies again. they will use Bitcoin for the rest of their lives. this is part of how the different layers of adoption globally takes root.
236  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs stock markets on: December 19, 2019, 01:49:16 PM
Definitely it depends on the level of risk you are willing to take. without doubt investing in cryptocurrency is a risky activity, as we got not enough historical data and the charts in my opinion are mainly moved based on sentiment, emotions and whales activity. But of course, as we have seen, the percent of profit you could potentially make is much higher. However, on stocks investments, some stocks are volatile while others are not. I personally started taking cryptocurrency as an investment opportunity much more seriously, but I am taking it slow.
237  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we heading towards Recession? on: December 19, 2019, 01:14:28 PM
Anyone who tells you they can predict the timing of a future recession is lying. It's typically hard to even figure out if you are in a recession until it's well underway. But a good indicator is bond interest rates. If interest rates for government one year bonds are more than a government 10 year bond, get ready for a recession. However, never rely on predictions about the future to make investment decisions, you can only make good investment decisions based on your personal financial needs, risk tolerance, and time horizon.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 9 of the best altcoin exchanges on: December 19, 2019, 12:51:06 PM
I am a personally using Kucoin and Binance. however KuCoin might be good for a lot of coins and tokens you want to trading. Just like it's competitor Binance, they also offer a fully functional mobile app for Android and iOS, and also have their own native token called as KCS , holders of this token get a share of KuCoin trading fee revenue. KuCoin’s fee structure of trading is one of the cheapest with only 0.1% as the trading fees. But for first time users I would recommend Binance, as they have a learning platform as well, and having biggest real volume.
239  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Arbitrage Trading - GUIDE on: December 19, 2019, 12:22:45 PM
It looks great, But the biggest issue with arbitrage between exchanges is the ability to withdraw. for example. I tried to take advantage by buying cheap Icon coin on HitBTC only to find out that I could not withdraw it and sell on a different exchange. I guarantee that the majority of arbitrage opportunities are there because of a deposit or withdrawal issue on the exchanges. there needs to be a way to filter out exchanges with wallets under maintenance.
240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss, A life saver or a evil? on: December 19, 2019, 12:11:06 PM
In my opinion, if you're trading long term or investing, it's unnecessary. If you're trading something that could cost you money from a bad news article or some stupid analytics that's might be purposeful manipulation, definitely put a stop. if you're in a short term on a very volatile stock. for instance, buy a stock for $100. And you only think it'll go to $150. And it goes to $200 instead. You can put a stop/loss at $150 since that is what you expected anyways. really, it all depends on how much risk you're willing to take on.
