More games and more gambling could attract more users, who themselves would buy more coins to continue gaming.

Most of the users in crypto space are interested in token speculation vs use of underlying technology and product.

Holders should learn to be patient and have hopes in other ventures to have a ground to fall back to incase of disappointment in other ventures, that strikes a balance in ones investment portfolio.

I hope the market will show much higher prices and action than in 2017. And it will not surprise anyone this time.

Even if you are here for the technology, it's necessary to have an exit strategy because not all factors are ever in your control.

The last couple of years have seen the rise and fall of a majority of projects. No surprises here as many startups generally fail within the first three years. Besides, cryptocurrency space is filled with poor execution and scammers.

Personally, I feel the biggest thing we will see in 2019 is a continued erosion of the global economy. The question is whether the money will flow into the crypto?

For technology to really make an impact, it needs to be accepted by the masses. That can take some time.  The best way to look at this is in incremental periods of 5 yeras.

Personally, I'm in it for the long haul so I'll be here until the price reaches zero. I'm buying more crypto. As always, I'll follow my own advice and not spend any more than I can afford to lose.

I wouldn't be shocked if it goes back down to 50$ where it was less than two years ago. If so, I'll buy more then.

If you are investing for the purposes of making a profit, then the time to buy is when the price is low. Of course, predicting what is "low" can be difficult. Everybody has to make their own judgement.

All I know is, ethereum current price is close enough to the bottom for me to load up on a few more coins!

How can people believe something is worth $20,000 in less than a year and then thing it will go below it's current price of $3,800?

Any useless altcoin will die. If development is not fast or good enough, they will die. You just need to be lucky having the right coins.

I have invested quite a bit in cryptos for the long term. I am not really worried about the present downturn. New peaks are still ahead.
