221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earn and save in Satoshi on: June 19, 2020, 12:08:38 PM
I was late seeing your encouragement, I recently gave up on my bitcoin for the reason of needing money due to this pandemic. It's really a hard decision I made but I know this is the right decision. But still, I will take your advice and bring it until I have bitcoin again or another cryptocurrency.
222  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: XRP Price to $14 - Any thoughts? on: June 18, 2020, 01:45:58 PM

XRP reached more than 3$ mate last 2018 at makikita mo yan mismo sa chart here  https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xrp/

223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: June 18, 2020, 12:30:48 PM
And bounty is the same, if you don't do your research before joining, I believe you will waste a lot of time with it. Research projects carefully before making any decision to participate
Well, it is only because most of the bounty projects today are just made to scam investors and bounty hunters. Especially in airdrops, this is a waste of time because they just collect numerous information of their participants for their own benefit. This has been happening always and the only thing we can do is to avoid it to stop wasting our time.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Mobile Gaming on: June 18, 2020, 11:08:16 AM
I don't imagine bitcoin as a mode of payment to do a transaction for mobile gaming. If you know about Steam, they are accepting bitcoin as payment to do transactions such as buying a game and top-ups for the game money. However, this was stopped immediately due to high fees.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters United we stand on: June 17, 2020, 01:37:11 PM
Nah! Bounty Hunters aren't going to be United on this one, some bounty hunters are so satisfied with the results they are getting from bounties, while you walk away from projects others don't mind joining
Yes because most of the bounty hunters are satisfied already once the bounty campaign paid them, they find it much better than not being paid. Aside from the said reason, I don't think that this will reach anyone. No one is responsible to filter the bounty projects and their allocation for the bounty participants.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the new cryptocurrency worth buying on: June 17, 2020, 12:05:46 PM
Last altcoin I bought coming from ICO was two years ago but  I participated on so many new coin campaigns but unfortunately they are flush out in the competition in the market, and they are nowhere to be found, you are lucky your friend recommended Bitcoin but after Bitcoin  I don't think there would be another coin as great as Bitcoin, there are coin with potential but nothing could get fast Bitcoin.
I just like the new altcoin that has begun to develop after being registered in the market. they will usually fall, but when the update is done like the listing update in the new exchange it can make the move. even though it's not 100% successful, but I like it.
It's not always like what you are saying right now. If altcoin provide a good progress and it can go up again but you should remember there are so many failed coins rather than successful coins. This is making the decision to invest in a new coin is very risky.
Yes and most altcoin who had the same situation is nowhere to be found now. Most of them drop the price to the lowest becase there is no demand at all in the exchange. That's why most investors prefer to invest in the old coins than the new coins, though the risk is still there but it's better than buying the new other coin that suddenly drop the price to the lowest.
227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best advice for Bitcoin ATH investors ?? on: June 17, 2020, 11:14:38 AM
What advice can you give those who buy Bitcoin at 19k in 2018? Because I still have friend who got in at that time, now he doesn't have the mind to sell and take his loss, what is the best advice to pass unto someone in this situation??

First thing is as long as the currency remains in your wallet meaning your investments still the same(only the Value via Fiat change but the volume is the same)

Next thing is If we are not in need of funds then why bother about your Holding?

People here always tells us to HODL then why not follow since the money you vested is willing to risk?
I highly agree to this, his investment will remain the same, nothing but only its value have changed. I know it is still stressful to see your investment to drop its value, we've all been there, but if you don't need the money yet, holding is the only and better choice until the value of it increases again.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India may again ban cryptocurrency on: June 16, 2020, 10:15:08 AM
It will be stupid for the government to ban cryptocurrency, they don't have any idea how it would help their economy grow.

What they are doing is they are blocking the revolutionary technology that would change how people treat money and this will eliminate boundaries because bitcoin and its blockchain knows no boundaries. I hope they will re-evaluate this before making a decision because if other countries allows crypto then why can't they? what would be their reason?

I believe banning is bad and the fines is too harsh, government suppose to serve the people so they should listen to people before making a decision.

The thing is governments don't really agrees on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies because of its decentralization that they no one control it. They also think that bitcoin is only being used for illegal activities like scams and fraud, that is why it is hard for them to accept it as a legal currency. They don't look on the good side of bitcoin that it could really help their economy by giving unemployed people a source of income.
Yes, and since it is decentralized, there is no way for them to have any control over it. They are doing this step to avoid anything like this to get out of their control, this might be a stupidity but this is how their government think and they will do anything to have a control over everything.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies take my advice on: June 16, 2020, 06:49:37 AM
I've seen many people who become a successful business men through loan, let's not pretend as if loan can't help, if you have a good business strategy loan can be the easiest way out of getting help but online business? I'm not so sure, it's more risky than real life business and crypto is volatile, getting loan for such isn't a good move
It's business and that will be very different with what we have been talking about in here. Online business have more chance to make the owner to loss all of his resources instantly especially when it comes to the volatile market that everything is unpredictable
It is true, having a loan and uses it on a business is really different from having a loan to invest. The risk is very high without knowing when and if the investment will be profitable over time. Unlike in business, you are the one who controls the business on how you will market it and make a profit.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted projects ruined me !! on: June 16, 2020, 05:25:43 AM
Late 2017 and early 2018 i was holding lots of coins and tokens from the ico's in that some i really trusted with solution and team (not only me most of crypto community trusted). Now this coins or token became nothing . But some projects i entered  to sell for small margin profit these projects given profit . So holding token or coin for long term is meaningless.
Holding a coin for the long term is really meaningless because there is no guarantee that the project will continue its development and its demand among investors. You should know that in the year 2017-2018, most created coins are just shitcoins, holding those kinds of token will only bring you nothing but regret.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: June 15, 2020, 03:10:54 PM
now many ICOs are fraudulent, therefore investors must be careful in choosing an ICO before investing in it because if they are not careful then the issued capital will drift in vain and a way to punish them, we can advise investors not to join the ICO
I believe that no one will participate in the ICO right now. People will only focus on bitcoin and the top altcoins, and they will also be interested in IEO at major exchanges in this market. But IEO is no longer able to keep the hype as it used to, too few IEO appear at the current stage.

There are still joining in the ico mate, but not as that many who joined in the IEO I guess.
Because, whether we believe it or not there are still have legit ico that We can find it here in the forum.
But as long as you know how to determine on which project are legit or not you are safe from the scam
project for sure.

Determining the legit project is something that is impossible. We all know that all projects are showing that they are all legit and we can only determine their real intent once they made even the slightest mistake or some people finds a suspiscious information about the project.
Also, I disagree with your statement that there are still some legit ico, as far as I know, ico is already dead and no one is interested on it.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any use for failed cryptos? on: June 15, 2020, 01:29:54 PM
Any use for coins/tokens of defunct projects like Synereo/Hyperspace (AMP) and others?
Unfortunately, there is no more use for that kind of token. That will remain in your wallet and there is nothing to do with it because there is no such project that was able to recover after it fails, what developers do was actually to build a new project and forget about the previous failure project.

234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters and Investors, Who values Cryptocurrencies More? on: May 17, 2020, 09:56:51 AM
Well, what I think is both of them. Because both of them are after of making money. It's just depends on a person how he value his cryptocurrency. For bounty hunters, crypto is important because of the reward that they can get, this is the product of their hard work. While for investors, they risk their money to earn profit in a certain period of time.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Does Bitcoin Have Value? on: May 16, 2020, 06:21:51 AM
Everything will have a value but it is depend on the community itself. Before money launched the human used a barter system instead of money even in some place use the stone as mean of payment because they are thinking that the stone have a value. This is same with bitcoin, the people look bitcoin have a value because its system which similar with money moreover with the need of digital currency that need by most people then bitcoin is deserve to be called as mean of payment.
To make it simple, bitcoin has value because people can use it to buying or exchanging goods. It is a digital currency that we can use and we value as a means of payment, we can buy things that we need in life and it is also convertible to fiat that's why it has a value.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market does not respect anyone on: May 16, 2020, 03:38:31 AM
While trading, you need to understand that the market does not respect any one either you are a whale or you trade with little capital.

Always look at the bigger chunks of the market and maintain a balance in trade.
I don't understand what your point is we are already know that market would not care for us, so? We are responsible for our own money because market don't trade for us we trade on the market any win or lose it was part of our journey as a trader and no one will care about it, so stop making a nonsense thread.
Indeed, I don't find the point of including the respect that OP was talking about because even if we lose our money while trading, no one cares about that. The only responsible and the one who knows about our trade is only ourselves.
237  Economy / Speculation / Re: All Time High:: 2020 or 2021 ? on: May 15, 2020, 11:31:18 AM
Who knows when this ath will happen but we should not expect it to happen, because it is too soon yet. We should know that even if halving was done already, it will take time before we can feel its effect. I bet 2021 to 2022 before we can see the ath.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people compare betting and investing in bitcoin (in terms of risk)? on: May 15, 2020, 11:01:23 AM
Investing in bitcoin is different from betting. People most likely to compare it maybe because it's just the same thing when it comes to risking your money. It is just their easiest way to at least explain how risky to do both. But yes, they are really different, if you are investing in bitcoin, you are expecting a return in a certain period of time, while in betting, there is no guarantee of return because it all depends on your luck whether you will win or not.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: May 15, 2020, 05:34:32 AM
rank isn't main reason for encouraging everyone to join, it all depends on the quality of the project. even if the cooper member account rank can also bring projects with very good concepts
Yes, it is true. Rank is not a matter of fact about the success of the project. It still depends on how good the project is. Also, there are times that the project will just use, rent, or buy a higher rank just to handle a certain project to gather more participants, but it shouldn't be the basis when finding a good project.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: May 15, 2020, 04:06:20 AM
Cheating or NOT Cheating?

Coming from altcoinstalk forum I've experience few projects going against their own rules like saying on promotion page that no KYC will be required and after promotion ends they tell promoters to go and open account on an exchange and pass KYC, what can this be called? Cheating? Any consequences for such projects on this forum? Thank you.

Cheating it is in my opinion because already it was stated that there won't be any kyc but at the end of the campaign they now request kyc just to spite hunters, if you look at it, many hunters only join campaigns that don't require kyc (maybe because they don't have the required kyc document) and they can receive their reward without any problem,
But when you decide to introduce kyc after saying there is no kyc is clear cheating hunters of their reward which is bad.
I disagree with you. As I understand, the project said that they don't require KYC for bounty hunters to receive their reward. However, for some reason, their chosen exchange requires every user to undergo KYC. It is not part of their rules that they don't need to do KYC under the exchange, therefore, it is not cheating but a misunderstanding in bounty hunter's part.
