Hi,
I am new in this. I want to know how to convert cryptocurrency into the hard cash in US$? I live outside USA but have a bank account in US. Is it possible to put money in my bank account through some exchange or any other mechanism.
Thanking you in anticipation.

If you will mine coins other than ETH go for 1060, as 580 aims only for ETH.
Hi, That's very important information that 580 aims only for ETH. Based on above, I have one question. How do you know if one card is specific for one currency or another card could be used for multiple currencies. Thanks and regards, Rizwan

6x 580s, even after messing with voltage and clock settings, would push a 1000W PSU too far, let alone for 24/7 operation.
6x 1060s would probably be fine, as far as the rating is concerned.
Don't forget to keep an eye on your required connectors. Some 1060s use 8-pin PCIe connectors, others use 6-pin.
Thanks. How about this one? HX1200 — 1200 Watt 80 PLUS Platinum Certified Fully Modular PSU Features: - 80 PLUS® Platinum efficiency, delivering 90% energy efficiency at real world load conditions. - ZeroRPM mode for fanless operation at low loads and outstanding noise reduction. - 135mm thermally controlled, fluid dynamic bearing fan only spins up as needed. - Fully modular cables for easy installation, less clutter, and helps maximize airflow through your computer’s chassis. - Engineered to meet maximum power output at a server-grade 50°C temperature rating. - Over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection, short circuit protection, over power protection, and over temperature protection provide maximum safety to your critical system components. - Safety and Agency Approvals: FCC, ICES, CE, UL / CUL, CSA, C-Tick/RCM, TUV, CB, CU, KC Mark, RoHS, WEEE, RoHS (China), REACHRegards, Rizwan

Hi,
Two quick questions reg. PSU:
1) I have ASROCK H81 PRO BTC 2.0. I am planning to use 6 X GTX-1060 or 6 X RX-580. Please let me know would 1000W fully modular PSU suffice?
2) If above is Yes then please let me know if RMx Series RM1000x — 1000 Watt 80 PLUS Gold Certified Fully Modular PSU (EU). The features are:
- 80 PLUS® Gold efficiency, delivering 90% energy efficiency at real world load conditions. - ZeroRPM mode for fanless operation at low loads and outstanding noise reduction. - 135mm thermally controlled fan spins up as needed. - Safety and Agency Approvals: FCC, ICES, CE, UL / CUL, CSA, C-Tick/RCM, TUV, CB, CU, KC Mark, RoHS, WEEE, RoHS (China), REACH

define "128 bit GPU"
I believe that refers to memory bus width. Yes, memory bus.

Hi,
Very simple question.
Is it possible to mine with 128 Bit GPUs?

Hello,
Thanks for your reply. One related question. Is DAG thing only applies to Ethereum or other/all cryptocurrencies as well?

Riz

Thanks Jdope.
One related question. Is brand a restriction i.e. does for eg. all should be Sapphires or Sapphires can be mixed with XFXs within the same 400 series?

Hi,
I understand that DAG file loads in the VRAM of GPU. The current size of DAG is approx. 2 GB and same cards are useless for mining.
Is it advisable to use 4 GB GPU (specifically RX 470)? Any idea when DAG would reach at 4 GB size?
Thanking you anticipation.

Hi,
I want to know something really crucial for me and would be really thankful if you give our opinion on and share experience with that:
I have decided on board, that is, Asrock H81 Pro BTC R2.0. For the GPU I think RX 470 4GB would be a better option for me. I am short of funds for buying 6 GPUs at once. And 470s are in bit short of supply in market. In case 470s are out of stock then my fallback would be to mix and match RX 470 4GBs with RX 480 8GBs for example three 470s and three 480s.
Before getting into purchase, I want to be 100 percent sure that is it possible to do that with Asrock H81 Pro BTC R2.0? Anyone did that? What were the issues faced? Lessons learned? Advise?
Thanking you in anticipation.
Regards,
Riz

Hi, Saw on video on comparison of RX 470 cards. As per video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYoTrdJ-HNw) RX 470 4GB (Efficiency tuned) is the most effective GPU with 2.3 Watts / Mh/s. The stats are: 1) RX 470 4GB: 90 Watts 28 Mh/s 3.2 Watts / Mh/s 2) RX 470 8GB: 105 Watts 30.5 Mh/s 3.4 Watts / Mh/s 3) RX 470 4GB (Efficiency tuned): 56 Watts 24 Mh/s 2.3 Watts / Mh/s Can someone please compare RX 470 4GB (Efficiency tuned) with RX 480 8GB (excluding price factor). Thanks and regards, Riz

Do not pay attention, this board supports 5 GPU. You can use risers to position cards at required distance. My wish better buy Pro BTC board.
Hi, If it supports 5 GPUs (physically fit) at the same time then its OK By Pro BTC, which one do you mean? a) ARRock H81 Pro BTCb) ARRock H61 Pro BTCc) other, please specifyRegards, Rizwan

Hi,
I am bit confused by the following two statements:
FIRST: ==== Can you physically fit five cards though? Depending on the width of the card I think you could definitely fit three, but I think the size of the GPU would be the main factor. IMO this is just supporting multiple GPU.
SECOND: ====== Are you serious? 5 GPU? IMO this is just supporting multiple GPU.
Please let know the difference between "physically fitting multiple GPUs" and "just supporting multiple GPUs".
Thank you in anticipation.

Hi, Basic question Please let me know how many GPUs (at a time) this motherboard can support: 2 x PCIe 3.0 x16 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 2 x PCIe 2.0 x1Its ASUS P8Z77-V LK - motherboard - ATX - LGA1155 Socket - Z77 Thanks, Riz

Hi,
Can someone please suggest motherboards supporting more than two GPUs, preferably, a board compatible with both AMD and nVIDIA (at the same time).
Thanking you in anticipation.

Not really it only supoort 2 GPU's and CPU is too power hungry and powerful. Besdies you will need new PSU for minning with 2 gpus. Is this rig given to you for free?
Hi Zombijs, Thank you for your reply, It is around 100 US$. Can you please suggest the machine that would support more than 2 GPUs. Regards, Rizwan
