221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big prize for 1 participant in a signature campaign? on: November 06, 2019, 12:20:04 PM
for example: prize allocation for a campaign (signature) is around 2,000,000 tokens and if the project only has 1 participant in the campaign (signature) and when the project has been completed or not scammed, is it true that the participant will get the sum of all tokens (signatures)?
or maybe not at all,  for other reasons?
If we suppose there is a signature campaign with only 1 person participating in it, I think the project cannot run and what happens is that the project will fail because the promotion is only done by one person, of course many investors are of the opinion that the project is not good. But in reality, I never saw that there was a signature campaign with only 1 person participating.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC defeats the purpose of Crypto. Thoughts anyone? on: November 06, 2019, 07:58:17 AM
The KYC process annoys the hell out of me. I remember a time when you could trade coins freely and without owning up to your identity at all. Not that I'm hiding anything, I just don't like every man and his dog having a copy of my government ID - I feel that's very intrusive. I mean the whole idea of cryptocurrency was anonymous peer-to-peer trading without government intervention. Now it seems you can't fart in the wrong direction without someone breathing down your neck.

I mean I get it, exchanges, ICO's, etc, want to be on the safe side -- although what I really object to is these places accepting my crypto first and then telling me that I need to give them a mugshot if I want to use it, or withdraw it again. It's a nightmare.

Anyone else a bit miffed with all this identity craziness we're in right now?

Or am I just being a grumpy old man?
I agree with you that giving our personal identity to certain conditions in cryptocurrency is not a natural thing because we have privacy that we cannot easily give to others, and I further agree that trading and anything that is in cryptocurrency can be done without giving a personal identity we tell some people who of course we don't know whether they will abuse it or not.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite project these days? on: November 05, 2019, 08:04:31 PM
What is your favorite project these days?

I think Ethereum it's the best project. haha

There will be projects in various fields,
1. Please tell me your favorite project.
2. Recently, let me know what you think is the best project and what the area of the project is.
Everyone has their own choices and for me personally, I prefer bitcoin and ethereum. Yes we know that bitcoin is a very good coin to invest in the long term and many people will wait for the moment when the price of bitcoin starts to weaken and buy it to invest to get a profit that is arguably big.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: there are still many who invest in cryptocurrency? on: November 05, 2019, 02:52:35 PM
as we know that in 2017 many ICO were successful (at least reached softcap) and of course the market cap was also very high at the time, so it proves that many people are interested to investing in cryptocurrency, but now where do these investors go? because now the market cap is down and many ICO or IEO are failing (not reaching softcap), are investors no longer interested to investing in cryptocurrency? if yes, where are they investing now? or is there a more profitable investment than investing in cryptocurrency for now?
If we compare with 2017 it is indeed very different and for now it can be said that investors do not want to rush to take steps because maybe they have observed market movements and have not found the right point or time to start investing in a coin and maybe also many investors who are not investing now because many projects fail because they decide not to invest. For me personally, I still invest in cryptocurrency and invest in real things like gold.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: November 04, 2019, 01:25:47 PM
To all bounty hunters on this wonderful forum i want to know if its advisable to continue with the bounty you have been promoting for 12weeks that got extra 8weeks added more, have you promote projects this long that ends up with good end results? Thank you
It depends on the project that you are taking part in, if the project extends its bounty campaign for a purpose so that success in the project can be achieved, I don't think it's a bad thing to continue participating in it. So for me personally, it's better for you to observe every update made by the project and ask a few things that you want to know in the telegram and see how the team responds behind them.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why my day job is making me depressed on: November 04, 2019, 11:15:54 AM
I have a full-time day job which makes me so depressed every day.  I just cannot handle 1 more day in my job.  The way that my day job makes me feel has forced me to look for alternative investment streams.  I really love investing in crypto.  I am an introverted person working in a highly extroverted roll, each day I am at work I am dying under the weight of extroverted people.  The noise and chaos that extroverted people spew out into the world makes introverted people highly stressed.

Trading cryptocurrency is a highly introverted job and that is what I love about it, you can do it from home, without the noise of extroverted people filling your mind with their toxic rubbish.

I am holding a significant amount of the altcoin called - HST decision token.  They are about to announce a significant client partnership on Monday 06.17.19

If HST goes to the moon and explodes in value, then I am resigning from my day job.

I pray that on Monday 17.06.19 that I can tell my boss where to shove her job.

This is my escape plan from my depressing day job buy purchasing HST tokens here: https://horizonstate.com/hst/

It is true that sometimes the full day's work that we do will become very boring and make us uncomfortable with what we do because of the pressure and targets that must be achieved and we will prefer to do something we can do at any time and can provide advantages, of course in cryptocurrency you can get that. But, not everything you do in cryptocurrency will benefit you, sometimes you will experience a period where you are confused to take the next step and slowly fail, but if you feel you can do your best and continue to make a profit from trading then do it.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS GONE? on: November 03, 2019, 08:39:40 PM
I have been gone for so long due to my hectic schedule at the university, but since I have graduated already and I have taken my board exam I am now back here! Finally.

I have noticed how altcoins I own before depreciate so bad. I even have two or more kind which up to now have no value. Is the market tthat bad already? I mean, I can actually read threads here but ofcourse getting direct feedbacks from all of you who stayed all through out the time I was not around would be very helpful. Please help me learn about the new environment of cryptos now. Thanks.
If you leave before 2017, you can say that you missed the bullrun that occurred that year, and when compared to now it is very different, many coins fall and have no value. And also many bounty hunters and investors also feel disappointed because of the many scam projects that make what they do in vain and suffer losses because the projects only deceive them for their own benefit.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investors are more excited on exchanges than product developments? on: November 03, 2019, 01:26:46 PM
This is the reality nowadays, but I don't know if you agree or not.

As what I have observed since last year, lots of ICO investors are more excited and making some noise when a crypto startup announced that they will be listed in some exchanges.

I have browsed a lot of Telegram groups coming from various ICOs, IEOs and other forms of token sales. When they announce their partnership with a "XXX" company or they have launched their v2.0 of their product, it seems that the community are kind of less impressed and not excited about that.

Last year, there's an ICO where until now, they haven't listed in an exchange as they focused more on product development. It's like almost 2 years and they haven't listed their token yet in exchanges but they only give us a quarterly report on what they're doing with the product. It results for most investors to become impatient and demand their money back or getting listed to exchanges at least.

This is what I've been observing for now, the behavior of most investors who are expecting their returns or gains after the ICO is complete. What do you say guys? Agree with this or not?

I personally also have the same opinion with you, that indeed most investors invest to be able to get a quick return of the money they have invested so they do not care too much about the product and the development of the project. Investors do not care too much and are impatient because they only want a greater return than the amount of money they have invested, even though it requires a process so that all can be equally benefited, both the team behind the project and the investors who provide funds to develop the project.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Harsh Reality About The Current ICO Project on: November 03, 2019, 10:32:48 AM
I feel cheated ... but the fact that every project that promises or claims tokens will eventually increase at a very high price is just nonsense ...
in a statement on the road map they promised to use project funds for further product development, but they were only trying to take advantage of the investors' black money ...
what they have to do is develop their product further, not just start doing it or say all the sweet promises ...

maybe it's one of the things they have to reconsider, if their project wants to be successful and the project product can be sold out in the market ...
I hope I'm not mistaken about this.
I think many people experience the same thing as you when what was promised was just a lie or it could be said that it was only a sweet promise. And from this it will make many investors begin to hesitate to invest in a project because of this. But not all projects are like this, we must be more careful and ask for advice from the people closest to us before participating in a project.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto advice needed on: November 02, 2019, 11:56:05 AM
Hi cryptonias I have a friend who is very worried about his portfolio because since 2017 he haven't been able to make huge profit out of crypto cos he has no money to invest and i told him to joined airdrop and bounties ,his worries now is all his coins and tokens are not popular ones  this is his list
1)Apollo currency
2)electroneum
3)senno
4)slate currency
5)avinoc
6)snapparrazi
Etc all this are make from airdrops and bounties and the highest ones are around 50$ presently the rest are 30$ down ,what kinda advice should I pass onto him?
To get profit is not fast, we need experience, learning and hard work to be able to collect little by little the benefits of cryptocurrency. Maybe for now the results of doing a bounty are less profitable or arguably most worthless, so I don't think it's the right time yet. It may take some time for your friends to get the most from cryptocurrency.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption growing or decreasing? on: November 02, 2019, 08:25:39 AM
Following 10 years of presence, the subject of whether the mass reception of digital currency has been begun is still bantered in the space. I would like to ask specialists in the crypto and blockchain businesses is there or have there be any huge crypto mass adoption compare to 10years ago?
If we compare with ten years ago, in my opinion cryptocurrency is growing because we can see that many people are getting to know and know about cryptocurrency and the increasing number of people participating in cryptocurrency, even though cryptocurrency is very volatile. But, many people can benefit from cryptocurrency.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ALTSEASON? are we waiting for nothing? on: November 01, 2019, 09:40:14 AM
We can only estimate the possibilities that can occur but what happens later can be different from what we expect. So, I personally focus for now on how I can make a profit even in small amounts and for coins that I have bought for my investment in the long run maybe I will choose to keep holding it and wait for the right moment to sell it, even though we don't know when the right moment will happen.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: November 01, 2019, 04:05:37 AM
Note: This is not about how to identify good coins to HODL
This is about how you can be a good long term holder

1. You must have another source of income
Either in crypto space or outside crypto space you must have other source of income, there was a time when i used to rely on coins i hold for monthly income but most time they failed me because some altcoins takes more than a month to add value. You can learn trading or find a better job to get constant income for your daily needs.

2. Not all altcoins are good for long term holding
Some altcoins are too weak to have better value overtime, these coins only add value to price once in a blue moon,WHY?because the power of demand is too low and they have no working product,i belief that working product is what makes a coin have many more investors

3.HODL Only Altcoins With Real Use Case
There are different categories of coins with use cases, many use case are weak use case, for example using fashion  designer to back a token is a weak use case to me because it means you can only use the token to buy the designer wears and many will call this a real use case? no it wont do very well.
Make sure that the real use case of every altcoins you hold will be very reasonable, the products backing them up must be something that is different and will catch the eye of investors, the usefulness  must be outstanding .

4. Stay Updated Always
Opportunity comes but once as many know it,so always stay updated about crypto, read crypto news online and keep tracks on your altcoins so that you wont miss future updated or even token swaps, some altcoins i hold have already switched to MainNet and im glad i dont missed the opportunity, you can use blockfolio app to track your altcoins.

Altcoin season is what many are waiting for, even new projects are waiting for altcoin season to return before they get listed on exchanges,im sure of one thing and that is good things dont come easily, today is bitcoin turn to reign and one day altcoins will have its day as well.

This is good information for people who want to hold in the long run. I have also experienced the same thing, when I make the coins that I hold as a monthly income, but what I get is sometimes disappointing or not in accordance with what I want, so it is important for us not to depend on the coins we hold and we must have other income, maybe by trading small amounts. And don't forget to keep updating information about cryptocurrency and observe the movements of the coins you hold to take the next step to keep holding or not to avoid failure.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: October 31, 2019, 10:09:17 AM
i have got around $1500 to invest in coins which coins do you guys suggest to invest in for quick money ? a year ago I have invested in STRAT and Sia and I lost big amounts and regret investing in those coins.

I'm thinking of investing $1k into BTC as its low risk but I would like to risk the the other $500 with a coin that I can make quick money with it
I think investing $ 1,000 into bitcoin and $ 500 into other coins is a good decision, of course you already know or have learned about the failures you made before that will make you more careful in observing each coin before investing in it and I only suggest analyzing what you will you invest before investing into it.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when a project fails you as abounty hunter or investor on: October 31, 2019, 06:59:15 AM
As an investor or bounty hunter, you have dedicated either your funds or time for a pjoject and it turns out to be a fail project, what next?

Many at times we have come across this situations and I see a lot of negative posts from different bodies about this projects, y? Because people are hurt and have lost precious time and capital.

I suggest that whenever this situations arise, rather than telling the whole world how you messed up, tell yourself never again and pick up your pieces, go back to the drawing board and never repeat 🔂 that same action that lead you to following and supporting a failed / scam project in the first place.

Beware guys!
When we have dedicated our time and money to a project and then the project fails, of course we will feel very disappointed because what we do ends up in vain and maybe many people who share the experience to provide information to people so as not to experience things the same with him. And I think when we get that, we will be more careful in choosing each project so that it does not experience the same thing again.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: less interest of investors to buy ICO on: October 30, 2019, 01:23:19 PM
now i see how many days ico appears and the result is a kind of war between ico to attract investors.
whereas I see that pre-sales to the public, ico are hardly in accordance with their targets, even to touch soft caps, it's very difficult.

Do you think that mastah caused ico not to be expected?
It is true that there will always be competition between ICOs to attract investors to want to invest in the project, but at this time I think it is true that it is difficult to attract investors or you could say a project is difficult to achieve its softcap because maybe investors are more careful in taking decision because they never get a scam project so they don't want to rush in deciding to invest in an ICO project.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why will you invest in something you know nothing about? on: October 30, 2019, 09:31:38 AM
Please stop your whining here if your friend dont know nothing about blockchain and crypto then teach him so he can be independent

Don't let them invest in what they don't know about

how can you invest into somthing if you have no clue about what are you investing in at first place or is just about 21st century beg??
Yes it is true, most people invest without knowing more about the project they are going to participate in and they are just following what others have said without observing themselves or analyzing the project. And maybe the person is just a beginner in cryptocurrency so I think his close friend can provide more knowledge about his friend so they don't get disadvantaged or at least to better understand about cryptocurrency.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TAKE A BREAK! on: October 29, 2019, 07:05:03 AM
You have tried so hard investing in different ICO and IEO without any success, you have lost at every investment you made, it is time to take a break. You have participated in hundreds of bounty campaigns without anything to show for it, it is time to take a break. You have been a bounty manager for years now buy every campaign that you have managed has ended up a scam or shit, it is time for you to take a break. Though some may advise you to try harder but i put it to you take a break, you cannot live all your life trying harder. Maybe you need to enjoy the forum for some times making necessary research and reading through every quality post to learn necessary things. You can also try your hands on other things. Get things straight, no matter how hard we try, we cannot all succeed in the crypto sphere. As an investor, stop loss. As a bountyhunter save your time for something reasonable. As a bounty manager, i know your integrity is important to you.

          Take a break!

Sometimes it is true that we need time to take a break from our routine when what we do continues to fail and we need time to rest and study or at least read quality posts to increase our knowledge. For me personally, resting is reducing the amount we do or arguably reducing the amount of work we do and I will choose to trade with a small amount.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: don't rely on gift tokens, balance your time with other things. on: October 28, 2019, 01:13:06 PM
don't rely on gift tokens because that will only bore you and not to mention you have to wait for them to be listed on the exchange or at least until they have a sale price to make up for your hard work.
I suggest balancing your time with other things you can do in this market and I think there are many ways to make a profit besides a prize campaign. I say this because I also feel bored with them and what I produce from gift tokens does not produce sweet fruit.
at this time I balance with trading, how about you?
Yes it is true what you say that do not just depend on the prize of running a bounty campaign, because sometimes the tokens that we get do not have value and sometimes the tokens that we have are not listed on the exchange so we cannot sell them. So, it's better for us to do other things that can give us profit, maybe trade in small amounts.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good project to invest. on: October 28, 2019, 04:51:28 AM
How to choose a good investment project
I understand that many of us do not suggest investing in ICO but I have to say not every ICO scam, invest in IEO no matter  the  exchange is, it is better than investing in ICO.
However, these steps help to judge the project.
1.   The team behind the project, it is extremely important to see who guides the project, experiments, are they able to implement the road map.
2.   The idea of the project, what the project solve, is the project can change something or introduce something new.
3.   What has been done and are there any steps the team is taking to prove credibility.
4.   Is the project is ICO or IEO, IEO will be better.
5.   How many exchanges the project listing.
6.   The type of the exchanges(however this is not issues as some project cannot go with top exchanges, top exchanges required a lot money).
7-     check (twitter, facebook, telegram, website metrics).
8-     It will be good if the project has ann on bitcointalk forum.
9-     Pay attention to what the team promised, it should not be far from reality or promises to enrich or quick profit (such as 200% profit).
10-   Look for old project in the market at least 3 month old.

Some of the points you mentioned are indeed needed in choosing a good project, but I think for the moment it's a little difficult to find a good ICO project. And in choosing a good ICO project, I consider the activeness of the team behind it in responding and updating every update about the project to me to make an assessment of whether the project is really active in developing the project.
