221  Economy / Economics / Re: What if Russia economy grows higher after the war on: March 04, 2022, 07:00:33 PM
Russia economy hasn't been tampered with so far. They don't have any casualties except for the ones that died while invading Ukraine. So Russians stand a good chance of improving their economy after the war since they are independent to a very large extent they can actually boost their  economy through subordinate countries through importation  and international deals with them neglecting EU and NATO
222  Other / Politics & Society / Re: One side donations for two country crisis's on: March 04, 2022, 06:54:35 PM
We won't call the conflict between Russia and Ukraine a war. This is a clear invasion because Ukrainians aren't retaliating all the do is secure their territory from distraction of both lives and properties. Russia hasn't had any sort of invasion from Ukraine so there fire if there be any nation amongst the two that deserves donations it should be Ukraine following the losses that have had as a result of Putin's invasion
223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run in Bitcoin on: March 03, 2022, 05:51:15 PM
I sometimes think that bitcoin and crypto market are now matured and we may not see extended bull or bear runs. Bitcoin will reach a hunderd thousand dollars or more but it won't be a parabolic move. What are your thoughts on this ?
Bitcoin will definitely exceed $100k but it won't be a parabolic move it might even taker longer to get there and this where they hodlers play a role to make this achievable. Once the demand exceeds supply there will always be room for inflation just like the Russian and Ukraine adoption lately caused a spike in price. Crypto also obey the laws of economics
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 03, 2022, 05:38:15 PM
As tactically astute as Rangnick is as a coach, I don't think United has enough fire power to go toe to toe against City.  Ronaldo isn't really doing well.  At least not as well as how much the club his paying him a week.  They should drop him imho.  And been hearing that Maguire hasn't been what he was expected to be.  Dunno, seems like there's still some issues that needs some fixing.

From my point of view, City is gonna win, they're going to win without conceding and they'll do it by scoring a goal or two in the second half.  IMHO.
I won't rule out the possibility of Manchester United to defeat City. Let's not forget this is a derby game and derby games are unpredictable. The players know what is at stake here; the bragging right in the city of Manchester is the predominant of them all. So, emotions will be high and expect players to give extra in the game. For sure, Manchester City are the favorite but United can be the spoiler to their title race.
Regardless of the Derby Rangnick can't withstand Pep Guardiola. I think Ronaldo is actually doing his best to see the team atleast maintain a standard but his effort is looking fruitless due to poor management. I am not in any way ruling out united possibility of defeating city but from the statistics and management on ground it's a 20% chance
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be Cautious and take Caution. on: March 03, 2022, 05:26:29 PM
At the moment it's wise to make donations only to a well verified account both for crypto or fiat donations. We live in a society where scammers take advantage of any slight opportunity they get to make dubious wealth. Been cautious about how donation is been made is the only way to avoid funding the wrong address scammers are just opportunist seeking for victims to take advantage of.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you regret when you miss selling at ATH followed by a correction on: March 03, 2022, 04:53:18 PM
Missing out on a sell opportunity is inevitable but i often regret them most times except for a few coin i bought at a very low cost that still keeps me on profit even after a retracement. On such projects i quickly take the available profit then wait for another good entry point to buy more. Most times it's risky because this strategy is somehow similar to gambling
227  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia to make bitcoin a currency on: March 02, 2022, 10:01:02 PM
Can we say it's a positive impact of the war even though it's happening in an awful manner . Since it's officially legal to own and transact crypto just like every other fiat I would rather suggest Russians go completely decentralized to avoid been trapped in any sort of regularization. Where I am not comfortable with the adoption is the declaration of transactions above 600,000 rubies  ($8,000) this is one of the worst cases Bitcoin has encountered in the hands of law makers
228  Economy / Economics / Re: What if Russia economy grows higher after the war on: March 02, 2022, 01:35:55 PM
What will happen if at the end Russia succeed in her conquest against Ukraine and take over the economy of Ukraine. That will extend the economic power of Russia no doubt and that will make Russia more powerful.

How will EU and NATO countries relate with Russia if that happens ?
I think there are donations going on for both countries so they might likely have reserve after the war to fall back to. But Russians economy might still experience a little set back because i am sure Nato and EU has plans for rebuilding destroyed assets in Ukraine after the war
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 02, 2022, 01:28:02 PM
Although they are still at the bottom of the table, I expected more from Burnley yesterday. They were in a really nice run of results and could have gotten out of the relegation zone if they hadn't lost.

Leicester is a good team when everything clicks for them and it did yesterday - although they scored both goals in the last 10 minutes they deserved the win.
Everton can sleep a bit more peacefully now, although both them and Leeds are in serious trouble.
Maddison and vardy made the match for Leicester city. Burnley's effort wasn't too good they played at home and also were aware if they should lose to Leicester it will be nothing else than occupying the 18th position relegation zone.   Everton is safer i think leeds should rather be in more trouble they all keep having horrible results this season
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 02, 2022, 12:11:01 PM
Bayern Munich are having another comfortable season as always and this is really frustrating to me. I mean that I'm fascinated by their performance of course but it makes things about this league really boring when we see them becoming the champions all the time. There are no team that compete with Bayern Munich till the final week of the season. Leipzig were a candidate to be that team last season but they also gave up earlier in the season. And Dortmund are trying something now but it is in vain also. Dortmund should aim the title without excuses and put up a real fight for it.
The nick of nine successive titles is a very extraordinary achievement, most likely this year Bayern will add to their domestic league title, the total titles that Bayern have collected are 32 titles, while other clubs can only collect 9 titles and 8 titles, it is very boring, we want big changes in the German league, because we want other clubs to be able to compete fiercely for the title, very boring if only Bayern always wins the title every year, hopefully in the future there will be other clubs fighting to get rid of Bayern from the title race.
At the beginning of the league we expected Dortmund would keep up to the challenge but it's glaring and clear Bayern Munich will still add to the total numbers of titles received already in the bundles liga.   I wish Dortmund, Leverkusen, Liepzig  gets new signing ahead of next season in the next transfer window and also improve on their tactics to meet up we i'm tired of seeing bayern take the leagues title year after year
231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 01, 2022, 07:13:35 PM
Almost every day we see changes in the points table. Because, the point difference between the teams is very small. So if a team does not win, their position on the table falls behind.
Now at the top of the table is Werder Bremen. They are playing consistently well. So now they are at the top of the table. However, Schalke and Hamburg are lagging behind. They are now 4 points behind Werder Bremen. Pauli and Darmstadt are now just 1 point behind Werder. So when Werder loses points in a match, these two teams are ready to remove Werder from the top spot.
The second bundles liga is where the competition exist unlike the first bundles liga where they left it all to Bayern, The chances of been replaced is very large so each team at the top will struggle hard to win at every opportunity knowing too well their position on the table is open to replacement. Werder is currently occupying the top but i hope to see Darmastadit do some replacement within the week if Werder loses against Dynamo or gets a draw.
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 01, 2022, 07:04:02 PM
In only an hour, we are going to have a game between Burnley and Leicester in the league. Leicester are the favourite according to bookmakers but only by a slight margin now. Because Burnley have been doing good for three weeks as they have collected 8 points. They succeeded in defeating even Tottenham in the meantime too. Taking this also into account, Burnley can make big difficulties for Leicester in their home game. But I still want to believe in Leicester's great attackers. They are a stronger team normally and they need an immediate win in the league to make their form better too.

Burnley's performance has been good enough in the last few weeks. Today's match is a home match. They definitely don't want to lose points. However I think, Leicester will still be ahead in this match. Because Leicester's forward is strong and Burnley's defense is weak. However, Burnley will try his best to draw the match. And if Burnley can score earlier in this match then it will be difficult for Leicester to win the match.
Burnley are playing home they should grab this three point with ease all Burnley need for the match is to improve on the defense line ahead of the match. Leicester city on the other hand aren't that easy They have a balanced team but all the lack is good management and strategy. Burnley could possibly capitalize on this to gain a full 3 point at home
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto asset prices weaken on: March 01, 2022, 06:51:26 PM
I don't think it's time to say this is a loss.
We are always in a trend that cannot be predicted with certainty.
It is possible that at this time we are only experiencing a correction because there is no definite sign that the market will decline further.
the thing that deserves to be prepared is USDT to buy again at a low price.
my main focus is bitcoin because bitcoin is the mecca of all altcoins.
For you it isn't a loss because maybe you have sold already for a profit and your now waiting for another entry point but to some that haven't sold their coin yet, it can be a loss to them. A correction is when there is a fall in price but you mistakenly define it above. No signs of decline is not what you call a correction but it can be called as stability.

Not all are a fan of usdt so they can prepare other types of stable coins. They can also buy a crypto even if they don't have a stable coin but as long as they have a fiat, that will work too. BTC is the coin that all of us should focus because as we can see in the explanation of the op, other coins are only following the wave of btc.
The crypto market is gradually going bullish so the panic should not result to a sell. Investors who bought the dip should see some profit at the moment and  it will be wiser the swap to stable coins so they can position for the next move of the market. No can accurately predict the direction of the market so keeping the profit realistic so as to have enough capital to buy more is best. The are always new dips in the  market so it's best to take a little than lose it all
234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers aren't playing around, get serious with your money on: March 01, 2022, 06:44:06 PM
Research is one key part in any investment option. Scammers are bunch of researchers too who make their victim pay for the information the neglected or the research the failed to make.

It's simple if an investor fail to do their research the have no other option than to pay for their ignorance. Scammers aren't playing at all so investors needs to get serious with their fund as op stated to avoid paying for ignorance
235  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NEVER BE IN A HURRY on: February 28, 2022, 10:47:21 AM
Do well to make spaces for new paragraphs so it will be easier for the one to read. Information is one best way to avoid been scammed. One thing about scam is that the victims pay for their ignorance. If one is knowledgeable enough about certain things scammers will find it hard to convience anyone but the society are ignoring their research skills and this scammers spend time making their own research and the present their offers a way many wouldn't resist. Making quality research saves
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Recent events should make everyone withdraw all their coins to their own wallets on: February 28, 2022, 10:36:38 AM
This has been a big issue in this part of the world leaving so many crypto investors stranded. And it came so sudden. The Nigerian government aren't friendly at all. All the do is either use the bank against it's citizens or implement laws that are unfavorable. Now most youths choosed to gain liberty through crypto they channelled their frustrations to using exchanges to wage war on the masses and binance is a key player in this.

You left out the point of "So long as you know what you are doing and practice good security"
First many still don't know the difference between custodial and non custodial wallet and the benefits of owning a non custodial wallet. Many crypto investors just feel all wallets provides equal benefits
237  Economy / Economics / Re: War requires three things on: February 27, 2022, 10:05:21 PM
If it was for financial profit Putin would have devised a more profitable approach but the goal is for territorial dorminance and this is why he has channelled so much wealth to see to it he makes his point clear to NATO and the world that he is ready to go in with any one who dares to interfere in the war. And zelensky is also not willing to give in and  zelensky is willing to stay back to secure this same territory
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: February 27, 2022, 09:59:13 PM
The Carabao Cup was one of its kind after a tough struggle between Chelsea and Liverpool which ended in a goal less draw and resulted to a 10-11 penalty shoot out giving Liverpool a well deserved win. Liverpool made the game an interesting one afterall. No one will deny Liverpool deserve what the got they play for a straight win but luckily the won through penalty shoot out

Your keys are safer offline as you rightly said at op. This song needs to keep going round as a reminder because many still don't see the possibility of cloud hackers penetrating their device from a remote server. Some feel with a well guarded password on their mobile or desktop they are covered. But the reality is the cloud is too risky malicious softwares are been developed daily that can access any device from a remote area. Keeping this keys offline is just the best preventive measures
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope Vs Realty of bitcoin on: February 26, 2022, 08:41:09 AM
It's a common scenario in every trading. Now two set of people move the Market namely the bulls and bears and they both struggle to gain dorminance in the market. Both in up and down trend we find both players actively involved although a trading session but the trend always determine who wins at the end of each session
