481  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I missed the boat is not new concept.. on: November 17, 2021, 06:41:51 PM
The fun isn't going to be as much as it must have been if we were here a bit earlier. Sad Cry

You could've bought bitcoin at $0.1, but who's to say you weren't going to sell when it 10x'ed to $1? It's easy to have regrets when Bitcoin is already successful. But back then, no one knew for sure how big it would grow.
This is where the saying "Bitcoin is for holders" stands true. While Bitcoin was around $0.1 and grew to $100 many sold, some couldn't sell theirs possibly because the misplaced their seed phrase and when the found it they sold out. No one knew Bitcoin would grow this big even uptil now a few people still see Bitcoin as one of those online scam that would disappear into tin air someday
482  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto for the development of local farmers...can.....? on: November 17, 2021, 06:34:33 PM
Until now, several cryptocurrencies related to the agricultural sector, seem to be less effective for farmers and also there is no progress. because of several projects such as those in my own country, including Hara Token (HART) and Agricoin (AGC & AGCMN).
who try to use the agribusiness sector as an asset for crypto offerings, there is no development and tends to be left behind even though 30% of the world's population is a farmer and the other 10% is related to agriculture. Can cryptocurrencies still be applied to future economic developments in the agricultural sector because it seems difficult?
Every nation depend on agriculture for survival and most agriculturist are still left behind in the era of digital currency and farming. They only way to effect this is to host a world class agricultural crypto submit where farmers get enlightened on  the use of crypto currency and if no education is done then many agriculturist will not see it as an option
483  Economy / Economics / Re: There are many online jobs out there. Crypto Opportunity. on: November 17, 2021, 06:27:50 PM
Online jobs are never scare it's only reserved for the skilled  who have undergone training. Cryptocurrency opens a lot of job offer to as many who understands the process behind the project and those who are skilled in crypto writing and article publication. There are no job scarcity it's just that you need to acquire the skill to meet up they demands
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is burning coins good on: November 17, 2021, 06:21:56 PM
Generally scarcity of commodities give rise to inflation so if developers burn their coin to attain a high value for their coins then it's a nice prospect but recently the process is been overhyped by desperate developers and not all of those coin have attained a reasonable price value. BNB is just one of such projects and this has caused a skyrocket in the price value
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it is safe to buy coins that are only listed on one small exchange? on: November 17, 2021, 06:16:28 PM
Crypto investment be it on big exchange or small exchange is still risky but it could be more secure on bigger exchange. For coins listed on small exchange I think you can still invest but with an affordable amount so you don't feel bad if it turns out negative. Every big exchange started small and every exploded project today had it little beginning so if you can afford the risk then you go ahead
486  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Runaway beginner on: November 15, 2021, 09:22:24 PM
I once felt this way in the past when I first joined the forum persistency and commitment was all I applied.  No one is looking for how good you may appear In making a point provided you can device an easy way to tackle crypto related issues and provide an answer to someone's question it would be way easier to grow without necessarily putting In so much
487  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the role of fiat currency disappear against crypto. on: November 15, 2021, 08:07:13 PM
Both are irreplaceable the both serve their own function differently in as much as we all desire to go anonymous and decentralized. At some point centralization is needed to keep track of financial movement across and within boundaries to help fight against money laundering and cyber attackers
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you deal with your emotions after losing a lot of money on rug pulls? on: November 15, 2021, 08:04:35 PM
I wanna hear from you guys on how you deal with these rug pulls after losing huge amounts? Like how many days can you get back on track after being so emotional? Or what you’ve been doing in order to move on faster after you lost money on these rug pulls?
I have had my share of the rug pulls which comes in so unexpectedly and all I do is close my chat and go to sleep after I have succeeded in taking a calming nap I revisit my chat to see the ATH and ATL then know how long it would take to bounce back the outcome be of my new analysis will decide if I hold on or sell off.
489  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginners risk management on: November 15, 2021, 07:59:43 PM
Well on need not to get greedy and only risk what you can afford to let go, cryptocurrency investment is a high risk investment and once you get greedy you may lose all your money.
You need to be a bit greedy to make it in the crypto currency business but in the course of been greedy you still have to apply risk management. The both walks hand in hand. When I mean been greedy I mean one just have to learn how to take the risk. There is no guarantee in cryptocurrency investment no one can decide how long a market will move in a certain direction this is where greed to make the profit will push investors into taking up a coin
490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't ever quit your job to trade crypto. on: November 14, 2021, 10:07:56 PM
Trading is too risky to quit ones job for with the high volatility. If it can be considered as a side hustle with very minimal risk management and money management principle that would be better. I have had of people who quit their jobs for the sake of crypto trading many made it big while some went bankrupt. I think it would be more preferred if one trades while maintaining their regular jobs
491  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible market crash in the near future? on: November 14, 2021, 10:03:24 PM
It is always a possibility. Remember, time in the markets always beats timing the markets.
Timing the market doesn't appear that easy at all mosti with the high volatility and the level of greed associated with investors. Definitely we would have lots of market crash soon mostly for the irrelevant projects and many will still maintain its value or appreciate. Trading with caution is what investors should adopt at this time
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: November 14, 2021, 09:58:39 PM
With the volume of new projects available in the market I'm been too careful with how I go about investing in them and lately I rely solely on hype or trusted recommendations and with the hype I still do a little more research before ever taking in any risk.
493  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks will die crypto will take over in 5-10 years on: November 13, 2021, 08:33:03 AM
This might not be a reality it would only exist in the dream world because those in authority will always want to be in charge of their citizens funds so they can track what goes around financial sectors. This is why the regulators are trying had impose digital currencies on their citizens and forcing them to believe it's a better investment option than crypto so the can tell who owns which funds
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the meme coin still worth holding on: November 13, 2021, 08:27:59 AM

I am holding meme coins and waiting for a Bull Run in Alts which I am sure will happen before the year ends. Shiba Inu is also branded as meme coin but I think it is more than a meme coin as its team is working hard to strengthen its use case which certainly the right way to stimulate growth of project and eventually increases price.
This is one of the major hypes we find with most of this meme coin where we are forced to believe that the meme coin is been strengthen by it's developers so it wouldn't just be a mere meme coin . But to be realistic is it serving any reasonable purpose? I know most investors just like the meme coin because of its ROI lately but one has to be careful because it's more like gambling
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: advantages in the cryptocurrency industry on: November 13, 2021, 08:20:56 AM
let's say that trading with crypto is easier because there is no regulation and no market limits, for investments i don't know they are really high risk i prefer traditional ones, gambling is more or less the same as traditional, maybe there is a little more anonymity / privacy using crypto
It's more riskier trading than investing in a particular coin. In trading ones trading account can be blown down to $0 in just a blink of an eye mostly for very highly volatile coins but for investment you can only get a depreciation and rarely will you invest get blown down so it's more easier with investing than trading
496  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Mintlayer | Sig. Campaign | Sr./Hero/Leg up to 130$/wk in BTC+MLT tokens on: November 12, 2021, 11:59:10 PM
....
I try to sign up but the site has not finished maintenance. I'm still waiting for that, thanks.

It's not a problem ! As you read - the entire site (and possibly some Mintlayer services) is currently being updated. This happens when the functionality of the site is updated, new functions are installed, maintenance is carried out after changes on the site. I am sure - tomorrow or in the near future everything will return to working condition!
The maintenance should come with more advanced futures so it's worth the wait. It might not be long enough anymore the whole Maintainance process would be done then you can go ahead with the sign up
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is the meme coin still worth holding on: November 12, 2021, 11:51:52 PM
What's your reason for still holding the meme coin in your wallet, and when do you intend selling it all off to buy a more purposeful coin or token. Are you holding just because of the hype, or do you have any analysis be it technical or fundamental technique that is giving you a go ahead signal to hold more or the hype is doing the work for you.

498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best ways to invest money? on: November 12, 2021, 11:23:10 PM
Becoming rich is just the goal and it's realistic to some extent but if you want a more specific answer I would simple say becoming $10million richer by mid 2022 although at the moment it sounds a bit scary to me. But if my dreams don't scare me I might not give my full energy  to make much profit
499  Economy / Economics / Re: Will we see new ATH this year? on: November 12, 2021, 11:18:29 PM
Third ATH might be from $71k to $73k in few weeks. We can see a stable move between $60k to $68k in last few days and this is the sign of moving uptrend usually. If this happens so, the next near stop would be $71k. Hope to see other crypto currencies grow along with Bitcoin. I am sure, seeing Bitcoin's growth, we might see more number of investors getting into it.
a few weeks ago I thought that at the end of the year, precisely in December, bitcoin would create a new ath because I saw the movement and many speculations thought the same thing.
on the other hand it turns out that from now on they have made a surprise and the end of the year is still a few months away and this makes me happy with the achievements now.
I think many people will regret about the panic sell due to fud some time ago.
Once it gets to $75k I would gladly withdraw so I can get a new entry point. The market is becoming more scary now the price has skyrocketed and the volatility is making the price movement more and more unpredictable. Lately some simple technical indicators failed to obey the movement of price. To save my self the stress of dip retracement I would just sell then wait to buy again once the price falls again
500  Economy / Speculation / What if $70k was Bitcoin ATH for the year? on: November 12, 2021, 11:12:29 PM
Will you be satisfied if 2021  ends with an ATH of $70k for Bitcoin. Will it make you more richer or it wouldn't add any value to your intial capital.
Will you regret you joined the trend late or  would you be glad you bought when the  market did a retracement? Or you are still staring at Bitcoin with some sentiment
