221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]🇨 Crypterium - Digital Cryptobank with Credit Token & Open Platform🇨 on: November 14, 2017, 03:37:19 AM
hi new to the forum - wanting to find more about crypterium before i invest . just a simple question - how is crypterium not a scam ? the biggest ponzi scheme ? correct me if i'm wrong , i just read jpmorgan? are they not interested to have their name associated with this project . all the red flags are there but at the same time it looks too good to be true with all the possibles?

I guess no one from crypterium can answer my question above re CREDIBILITY  JP morgan , banking platform etc .. the scam makes many claims but what all investors can hope for is to keep fingers crossed in hopes that they can miraculously back up these wild claims... i'll invest elsewhere .. for those that have thrown their $$ at this GOODLUCK..

You smells like a real newbie in crypto. Are you from Africa where Ponzi scams are very prevalent? You go better read properly the ann, their site, the developer's team, the road map and the white paper. Most devs are active on telegrams so try to talk to them there.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ☑ [ANN] ☰ [ ICO 06|04|2017 ] ☰ Humaniq — Discover the unbanked on: November 12, 2017, 10:43:18 AM
Dear all! For those who have missed our Facebook live streaming on Humaniq Global Challenge announcement!

Here are 3 best-performing teams of Humaniq Global Challenge!

Signstampo, United Kingdom
File signing system that uses blockchain technology to demonstrate file authorship, date and stamp accurately. And let legalize your files without the need for a notary.

MicroAid, Indonesia
MicroAid helps unbanked, small farmers in Indonesia to access local financial services using peer to peer blockchain identity and asset verification.

UnbankedX, Singapore
A blockchain-based remote job platform for Africa's young, educated smart-phone driven workforce.

In a few days, Humaniq Global Challenge team and the people behind best projects are going on a trip to Kenya where they will meet with local unbanked populations to learn about their lives and financial habits.

Sometimes even the most brilliant ideas don’t make it through, and it usually happens at the moment when utopias and idealism clash with harsh reality. That’s why we find it essential to put ourselves into the real circumstances. During this trip, we plan to explore the modalities of how ideas behind the best Humaniq Global Challenge projects might work when they will be turned into practice.

Stay tuned to be with us on this journey! On Humaniq Challenge Telegram channel(https://t.me/humaniqglobalchallenge), you can also follow our Medium blog  (https://goo.gl/ZsK1Fh) and Facebook page (https://goo.gl/xzKT3a) and get updates there!

Good to see Indonesia and Singapore going strong in representing Humaniq despite their governments becoming hostile on crypto currency. Singapore is not accepting bitcoins until now? Also I read just few days ago that Indonesia will ban cryptos starting January 1, 2018.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: November 12, 2017, 07:05:18 AM
Hi Dev, This amazing coin needs to be at Bithumb exchange.
If this was at Bithumb  the price would be 5 times what it is now.

                     Roll Eyes

Bithumb is the largest Korean exchange, if we can be listing there, the huge impact will happen on Stratis, especially the price factor. I hope we can be the largest sidechain and anon project.

There are 3 Korean exchanges out of 6 top crypto exchanges now. Korea taking over the lead? Perhaps, let Korea hosts the 2018 Stratis yearly conference to introduce this technology into their  large market.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP] | BITCOIN BRONZE | Working Persons Bitcoin - Fast and Affordable on: November 09, 2017, 12:11:31 PM
haha 0.01 eth for your useless shittokens, what a great joke.

Thats a ICO, not a airdrop.

Airdrops are completely free so maybe this is considered an ICO. And just out of curiosity. Why named it Bitcoin Bronze when Bitcoin Silver is yet to come this coming December?
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or BCC or BTG on: November 08, 2017, 12:44:49 AM
why we need three different version of bitcoin ??
All these three different versions provide different features, so that's why it's necessary for these 3 versions to exist.
BCC and BTG existance was come when fork happened, seems like political tactic for some miner.
We absolutely sure only need BTC, not necessary need others two.

Maybe we don't really need another versions of BTC. But who knows  one of these versions may become the best version in the long run? Early this year it was Roger Ver that wanted a fork when its blockchain became slower with higher fees. For me I don't really care if there are more and more versions for as long as they get better.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: November 07, 2017, 10:37:52 AM
So it's worthless in USA, might as well buy btc to purchase real estate. Easy...dumped all mine the other day.

I don't know if your timing is just bad or you luckily made it. Real just got pumped to more than 50% up in 24 hours. Bought some of this coin when it dipped weeks ago and see if this could be better than other similar projects like Propy.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TrueFlip - Become a part of the world's largest blockchain lottery +Bounty on: November 06, 2017, 01:24:24 PM
Damn jackpot prize at 400 BTC. That would be near to $3 million. Truly life changing on someone that is lucky to grab this kind of prize.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Dimon is not a man of his words! on: November 06, 2017, 08:18:29 AM

Can I ask? Who's Jamie Dimon?

jamie dimon is just another average joe , like warren buffet and charlie lee and other popular names on the internet that  keeps on bashing the bitcoin because they are anti bitcoin and uses another type of coins or altcoins. they want bitcoin to go down thats why they always keep on making news that bitcoin is a bubble, bitcoin is a tulip, bitcoin will crash, etc.. and sometimes they are quite annoying.

Who cares about Jamie Dimon though. They're just jealous that they cannot take a hand and control Bitcoin. I don't think Charlie Lee is also bashing Bitcoin. I even think he is part of the so called Satoshi Nakamoto people. Litecoin is like a testing ground for future Bitcoin developments so it is really possible Charlie Lee is part of Bitcoin Core.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: November 05, 2017, 05:39:32 AM
Why can not I see the result of ICO? how many% of the coins sold, unlike the initial ICO we can see the percentage of sales ..
I think it's better
Does "Tokens to be distributed" isn't visible from your side? It's the result of ICO. Currently more than 416million tokens have been distributed to all investors from 1billion supply (850million is the max total of ICO offering).

Edit : they had used % as ICO result, but they changed it to total tokens which have been sold.

They should also show how many days are left for the token sale on the front page. Because I remember it was really short and people might not know it.

UTrust already collected 50% of its maximum target cap is excellent already imo since many cryptosiasts are expected to participate on this coming bitcoin forks. There's still many days left before crowdfund ends so all is great so far.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Blockchain? on: November 03, 2017, 02:22:18 AM
5 to 10 years from now we can see rich governments and top business companies to utillize blockchain technology. Maybe they won't be using most of these current crypto we have since these groups and governments have capabilities on developing their own.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO][ANN] ZrCoin [11|05—09|06]Commodity-backed blockchain on: November 01, 2017, 05:03:13 AM
This coin is a mess. This thread is haunted and their official twitter is also inactive since their successful ICO. This is disappointing on the investors part. I wonder if they really started building their so called factory.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Numerousity of ICOs and Coins: A Blessing or Curse? on: November 01, 2017, 04:08:18 AM
I think it has both negative and positive effects. But numerous ICO is never a curse since they cannot be taken seriously on top legit exchanges. As what we observed, these new ICOs are becoming more popular and are even toppling some of the old solid coins. Many of these newer coins offer innovations in our advancing world.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cash Poker Pro ICO- decentralized poker room on: October 31, 2017, 07:00:26 AM
What's this ---> https://etherdelta.com/#CASH-ETH ?  If the tokens aren't distributed yet then how are they being traded on etherDelta way under ICO price?  I traced the contract back so I know that they came from the project's token contract, but how and why?
That would be nice to know, I mean the price is half of the ICO price. So why would anybody sell there

Right now the price is around 1/3 of the ICO Price....So why would I want to buy from the ICO

Hmm, bad distribution strategy by the devs. This is the reason why most ICOs will only distribute tokens only after ICO is finished. Especially that crypto market nowadays is a bit unpredictable.
234  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: October 31, 2017, 04:08:47 AM
the truth is, technology has done more positively to our generation than the negative. if this is truth, be it known that there is nothing that doesn't have a side effect.

Correct. As always everything can have side effects. Those that are left behind by technological advancements are mostly the victims. But all in all, technology is futuristic and beneficial on our future generations.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: October 30, 2017, 04:03:54 AM
Of course many altcoins will have good future. Even the newer coins now are already trying to enter the top 10 and replace the older ones. Because many newer coins offer better tech and platforms. Change is constant and those coins that aren't have much capability will be live behind.

I bought this coin because a friend told me this will shift to POS soon. So when will it be? I cannot find it is mentioned here but I haven't scanned the whole 700+ pages. Anyway, if POS gets activated then mining stops?
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: October 28, 2017, 01:51:51 PM
If I remember correctly Doge was just created out of nothing. Not that this doesn't have any chances in future since devs can still develop and enhance it while supported with huge community. Even at this current time we still have exchanges that offers separate market on Doge vs other crypto.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | EDO |EIDOO Wallet - Hybrid Exchange - Marketplace| OVER 80k ETH RAISED | on: October 26, 2017, 11:30:53 AM
Where they burned tokens? I see another picture. Tokens was not burned.  Huh
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/eidoo/

If I'm not wrong, the crowdsale was for 20 million tokens. 10.7m have been sold, 9.3m have been burned. 80m are not yet in circulation, so the data on coinmarketcap is correct.

80m in founders? Its epic fail  Sad

Not that fast mate. With Eidoo collecting large amount of fund. I doubt they will touch their tokens assigned to them. Some part were burned. I think Eidoo team will lock it for a period of time.

I cannot wait on Digibyte to be bullish again. It's been many months already since there was rumor that this will be added on the Korean markets which was probably Bithumb. I trust on Digibyte because it is a working product. It's fast and cheap. This should be the coffee money that Roger Ver wanted.
240  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: October 26, 2017, 10:08:34 AM
Just an hour ago I met my aunt in a hotel. She told me about handling my investments well and taking care of my assets. One thing that struck me most is when she told me to make sure I am not placing some of my funds on bitcoin. Seems like people in business industry were told that bitcoin is a fraud and should avoid using and buying it.
