hi, all , i have read may topics on this and i still dont understant. what i understand is there are 2 pair of addresses for each private key aka sha256 hex i.e. compressed pair and uncompressed pair. e.g. ref: https://brainwalletx.github.io/passphrase : hello gives 2 pairs compressed WIF : Kxj5ejwPg2s2ejZHW7N1zAydD4fkmFi9j19QRmgeVK9mXL3wFMmp compressed Address : 1MmqjDhakEfJd9r5BoDhPApCpA75Em17GA and Uncompressed WIF : 5JA5gN4G78DhFSW4jr28vjb8JEX5UhVMZB16Jr6MjDGaeguJEvm Uncompressed Address : 1HoSFymoqteYrmmr7s3jDDqmggoxacbk37 so i have few questions. 1) are these 2 different wallets ? 2) if someone sends funds to compressed Address, will it show up in Uncompressed Address ? 3) do i have import both of these WIF keys in by bitcoind to receive funds in them , i guess they act like 2 differnt wallets. 4) can i spend funds from Uncompressed Address by using compressed WIF
5)can i spend btc from compressed wallet address by using uncompressed WIF key ? this is quite confusing. thanks for your time. sorry if i posted this in wrong section, idk if this is technical or not.

best case is, the guy who threw his old hdd in trash while upgrading the laptop or cleaning the room., he had 1000 bitcoins.,
You have a better chance finding back the old hdd than randomly guessing the private key. This guy threw away 1400 BTC. This guy threw out 7500 BTC. It's the treasure hunt of the future, instead more diving for old ships filled with gold and silver, digging in landfills. where are their wallet addresses ? thanks

thank you captain., i appreciate it.
ill be careful next time. i was looking in google.
Next time dont just search in google. Use bitcointalk also since most of the information about bitcoin can be found here after all, bitcointalk is the official forum dedicated for bitcoin and the place where satoshi nakamoto posted in bitcoin's early days. Now I wonder if you want to add satoshi nakamoto's address to your research because there is a possibility that he forgot his private key or had it destroyed and lost the bitcoins he got in the process. fuck me. now i want to see satoshi nakamoto's posts/threads dang, i didnt even knew satoshi was bitcintalk's member, thanks, it would be great if you could direct me to his profile.

It's outdated thread, but you can see not only lost bitcoin, but also Bitcoin Heists, Thefts, Hacks and Scams at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=576337Next time you better do quick search because i find it less than a minute It is indeed outdated but somehow a good reference if you are really serious on compiling up on this kind of thing but generally speaking about list of lost bitcoin wallet address I guess it would really be a tough job since knowing that there are things that do happen without the notice of community specially on smaller scale of lost bitcoin but if we are talking about big stolen funds then we would really be able to aware on that one. This is why its somehow hard to pile a list on this one. actually i am looking for addressess/accounts which holds more than 100 btc and have not moveed btc out of the account., so i can focus on them., and not have to worry about if i accidentally find the private of that address then i dont want to find the wallet empty. best case is, the guy who threw his old hdd in trash while upgrading the laptop or cleaning the room., he had 1000 bitcoins., i hope you get what i am talking about., sorry for my bad english

indeed it can go up., i have been told, it will reach 1 btc = 1 million usd. idk how long it will take., but imho at the end of the year it will reach 5k at least. and till next year end, it will reach 10k.
hope this helps.,

what the actual fuck., i already bought few k coins .. damn i feel llike fool now. idk why they are offering to buy plexcoins with credit cards. people can withdraw coins and do chargeback.
something is not right/
|
|
|
idk much about it., but they are marketing heavily. so far 18.51 mil plexcoins has been sold. and few of my relatives already bought some. so i jumped in and bought few for mysqlf too.
but i would like to point out that in the initial stage of bitcoin people also said , bitcoin is one big ponzi scheme.

|
|
not any more, current price is above 4k, so you will need money to make money.
you can turn few millions in billions.,
but not few k into millions real soon.

this is the fastest bitcoin address generator., i mean 1mil+ per second.
is it possible to modify the code to create address pair from string ? i mean passphrase -> private key and private key -> bitcoin address
thanks
i know there are tools out there , but nothing matches speed of vanitygen.

i guess you are on testnet mode .
because you cant just make coins out of nowhere, i mean such coins only come from mining.
and only inputs can be outputs.
send 1000 bitcoins to my wallet 14jp1tXiXbWJE8pxXR9oPhv7kQZqMWZddK and PM me your paypal address.

looks like it got confirmed already.,
idk why it took so long even though Fee per byte 110.489 sat/B

sorry for bumping old thread.
but icame from google search.
is it possible to run this code in linux command line ?

Technically, yes, if your nodes have a conflicting transaction. If you broadcast too many invalid transactions/nodes to a few nodes, they will note that you are a misbehaving peer and will disconnect you. However, you won't be banned from the entire network, just a few nodes.
If you are working on a transaction broadcasting service, you should implement checks to see if the transaction is valid and no other conflicting transaction is in your mempool.
okie., will do that. so there is no global node ban list ? something like that ? how can i check if the tx_hex is valid ? i guess by decoding hex and checking the inputs and outputs. ?
|
|
|
i am working one tx broadcast service.
what will happen if i keep on broadcasting double spend transactions ?
will my node get banned from bitcoin network ? or something else ?
thanks

Your question is incredibly hard to understand. What is "tx_hex"? Do you mean the hexstring of the raw transaction or the txid? If you have a hexstring, you can use decoderawtransaction to decode the raw hex of a transaction. or tx_hex a key, and value is stored in the data directory of bitcoin ?
more like
key => value pair
where tx_hex is key and hextransaction is stored on disk ?
No. That is completely incorrect. When you have ask for a transaction with getrawtransaction, you must have txindex enabled. The txindex means that Bitcoin Core's databases will have records with txids and the location of where the transaction data is stored in the blk*.dat files. When you request a transaction, it looks up the txid in the database and pulls it from the disk. Then it represents the binary data as a hex string. sorry for confusion, i meant txid., and looks like i got my answer., so there is db with txid => txhex and we can do decoderawtransaction(tx_hex) to get json data . thanks ., this clears things up. but i just checked i dont have txindex=1 in my bitcoin configuration file ., but still i can do getrawtransaction . how is that possible ?
