221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: June 20, 2017, 07:36:45 PM

Look man, I really hope this is the case. I want XBY to succeed and I voiced my concerns and hope they are addressed.

You were the guy with that funnycartoonkid on his profile pic, I believe. You seemed like a very nice guy. The way the website thing handled wasn't good and therefore that has changed. Change came. Change has arrived. And therefore we are stronger then before.

I understand your concerns but we cant quite or start full critism when things arent going bad. We express our thoughts in a normal way instead of bringing up personal matters (like who is CCR/borz) when thats not even relevant in the critism that is being spoken out.

I'm not funnycartoonkid guy, just a concerned citizen. I haven't changed my avatar in the slack.

I think we will be fine. We have great guys in the board that are good in touch with the community and CCR is also a good guy, let's not overreact on that. Yeah, he may have overreacted in certain situations but he definitely comes across as a very passionate person that is really passionate about this project too. Well, I can understand that a Slack full of people who know little (compared to him) can be annoying and especially when the critism is toward yourself, it can be very frustrating when you are working that hard for it all to succeed. Maybe the communication can be left to vanfly or ccnccn or jhar for that matter, since CCR is really personally committed (not moneywise but in effort and dedication) that it can get in the way of communicating like it's expected in a big project/company. I wont be the judge of that since I have ZERO problems with his communication, on the contrary, I enjoy him responding with that much passion. It gives me the confidence that this guy is real. He is not faking his emotions and therefore not scamming anyone. You cant fake his passion/temperament. I dont believe that. Therefore I believe in him and the project.

Funny that this type of FUD-talk happened last time when XBY got a massive dip too. We went down that time and shit hit the fan with a couple of guys. After that, XBY had his normal correction to over 1000/1100 sat and it was all normal again. Then we peaked to 1500 again, people were hyped. Then the inevitable dip came again and we dipped now to what? 700 sat? And the panic has risen again. I am sorry but I cant take ANY critism serious when it only appears when the price is dipping. And thats what ends this discussion: its FUD.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: June 20, 2017, 07:08:03 PM
The great thing is that the community as well as the board (including ccrevolutions) seem to have learned a lot from this. Ever since seedit and the other guy, forgive me for not recalling your name, went out of the Slack, the board AND ccr have openly admitted their part of the bad choices and the community on the other hand stepped up like true soldiers. I am proud of that, like really a lot. And because the community as a whole stood up and tried to HELP instead of just critisize, the founders/board had no other choice then to admit that this was the best way to work with this committed, careing community.

This project is really getting stronger by the minute thanks to all of this. Great things.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should I include my portfolio to hold for 5years? on: June 19, 2017, 02:42:57 PM
I would also suggest 1337. Extremely cheap at this moment. Didn't check it today but was at 6/5 sat yesterday.

1337 is currently developing servers/implementation for playing Minecraft and earning 1337 coins by doing it.

I have looked into Minecraft: over 100 million gamers play it. Thats a HUGE market and HUGE potential. If they hear, read and know about gaining coins that they can trade for money or trade for games (stake2play)...thats huge.
226  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How much bitcoins can you collect from faucets per day? on: June 19, 2017, 02:38:05 PM
Well, obviously BTC faucets aren't worth your time but are there other faucets with more potential (as in: let's say getting 10 Idontknowcoin which is now 3 sat but has also seen prices like 10 sat and has potential to get back there again or something)?
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] REBI NETWORK | A RADICAL NEW IDEA | BLOCKSWAP TOKEN WAVES/ETH on: June 19, 2017, 02:33:47 PM
The project looks great. The new and updated ANN-page is very nice. Will keep this project in my list to follow for further developments.

Oh, and I'd like to reserve the DUTCH translation.
228  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you earn money online? on: June 19, 2017, 02:06:16 PM
at first starting earn online, I am join PTC, but it's need long day for withdraw, because too small payment
Same, I also registers PTC, get a little bit. After that I tried to type captcha, the income depends on our business. Now I am learning how to get bitcoin while working offline

Getting Bitcoins while working offline? How does that work? Like: doing jobs (like painting, building, drawing, fixing or something?) and getting paid for it in Bitcoins or what is it? Sounds interesting Smiley.

I think as a gamecredits - $ 4 can ??
----
How do you think how much will a coin cost in a year? About?
I personally hope and believe in at least 100 sat. The project will rise hard when the word AND the project comes out with the Minecraft development!
4 dollar per one 1337 coin? Thats VERY optimistic, haha. I dont have a lot of knowledge about the marketcap part but the fact that there are a lot of coins available makes it difficult to reach those kind of numbers. But even going to 40 cents per 1337 coin is like what? 400 times your investment of what it is now? Inmense potential.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: June 19, 2017, 01:42:32 PM

Dude calm down!

I'm not talking about the design. I'm talking about the copy!

The copy is at best bland at worst it sucks!

There are no triggers, no excitement. There is nothing to draw you in. There is nothing to keep you in suspense. Nothing to look forward to. No new things to do that are unusual to get involved.

A good copy on the 1992 crappy HTML site is 100x better. Not sure why you people if you put good design with bad copy you will soar when it's not true! Did you split test this stupid theory?

Bro, I am not involved in this part and I am sorry if I came off too strong. Wasn't my intention. Just felt it was harsh for the designer who just did a great job in doing what was wanted of him. Regardless of whether we like it or not. This was the job.

On the other things you are saying: I advice you to join the Slack of XtraBYtes and help the community and this project with suggestions. The developers/board/community is very open so maybe good tips and tricks can be shared for the better. Including the website.

I put money in thinking that the site would be decent and it sucked because i had nothing exciting. That is what I tried to say! And I had right to say it gave my real money in this coin and it went down. Why do people focus on looks and not substance?

The price going down after website release seems to be very normal, looking at all other projects where the price (heavily) decreased after a big news: buy the rumours, sell the news is what one person in the Slack said so greatly. I am pretty convinced that you should not be worried, hell, you have a great investment with only one requirement: patience. I hope the price stays like this untill I get a bit more money to invest again. Smiley

Join the Slack still, any suggestion/contribution will be appreciated and more important: its very active and also the founder/board members are active there so you will reach them and they will reach you way better.

Is there going to be an option of browser-mining? And if it's currently not an opton, is there a possibility that this will be developed in the future?

SITE IS LIVE!
We are aware of some issues, these issues will be reviewed and fixed ASAP

I just looked at the site I don't see anything that is exciting new?

I guess market agrees with you, price dropped by %30 percent after the launch

They should have hired me I bet it would have been 10x better! Not sure who they paid for that site Sad

The reason I'm upset is I put money thinking that whoever they paid would do at least a decent job.

That's really harsh. People always think they can do better and let me start by saying that this wasn't the designer coming up with the design after getting paid. The board decided that they wanted this site or a site like this and the designer created what they wanted. So yelling: "I COULD DO IT BETTER" is not in order, because it was not a designer but a board choice to have this (type of) design.

The site should represent a simple and strong concept -> just like the project itself. A website where the most important part is the information about the technology.

This doesn't mean that the site will stay like this forever ofcourse. It's a community based project so if something better is possible within the concept of simple and strong, it may very well be in the future.

Great video xenonflux! This guy is a great part of the 1337 movement, I read a lot of him on their Slack and he is really committed to the project. Good stuff, you need these kind of people to move further.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: June 19, 2017, 12:02:32 PM
100 coins fee was at withdrawal from wallet, why so many?

That is temporary situation to create a community fund for investing in developments, to fund progress. This will be reduced once the funds are not needed anymore.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Very good trade bot website on: June 18, 2017, 07:53:12 PM
Lol. 1.8 BTC profit with a bot that is listed on a FREE website and bad English? And the only two posts of the guy sharing this great invention are the ones in this topic. The effort that this guy took to share this brilliant information...admirable. But also not legit ofcourse. Like another poster said: at least put some effort into it man.
238  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Are there ANY decent exchanges? on: June 18, 2017, 07:49:46 PM
Well, complaints about Bittrex...aren't there always complaints? I mean, look on the forum of BMW, Mercedes, Microsoft, Apple, Android...all big companies have a section of troubleshooting and technical errors that people want the company to fix. BUT, the majority of users that I talk with always say that Bittrex is one of the best exchange that they work with. I like it too. But hey, dont put any money on my judgement since I also like Yobit (except for the wallet/withdrawal issue on certain coins (and listing of some coins, hah)). I am not a fan of Cryptopia and Coinexchange I believe.
239  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War 3 on: June 18, 2017, 07:45:43 PM
I must confess that I didn't follow the 'regular' news a lot lately so I might be wrong but is it just me or did these tentions between North Korea, Russia, China and USA kind off ended? There are tentions/problems in the Middle East (lol, when isn't there, right?) with the Dubai/Qatar thing but not much news on the bigger (potential WW3) conflict.
