There is no TV he's been asked to many difficult questions like more pictures and escrow. My money says he wont be back again.

It feels good when you silence a scammer. I think in cases like this the mods should lock the thread.
OP was given a chance to respond, he can't bc he's been outed. Now it's time to kick the thread and move on to kicking some more scammer ass!  Grin

+1 I couldn't agree more, hopefully if we keep on top of scammers they'll stop coming back.

Must say this was lame compared to some. Trying to sell something that's not even on sale yet is pretty dumb Cheesy.
2204  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 4 Sapphire HD 7950 Dual-X with Boost for sale on: April 21, 2015, 06:28:08 PM
I have 4 Sapphire HD 7950 Dual-X with Boost for sale.  I built a mining system, it worked great, but the market crashed and I lost interest so i am parting out my system.  The cards are in perfect condition and i am hoping to get 300 a piece for them or best offer.  Message me if you are interested and we will work it out.

Photos with username & date? Escrow?
2205  Economy / Goods / Re: Special Bitcoin-only 5-Day Anniversary Sale >> SOLD OUT !! on: April 20, 2015, 04:44:27 PM
What was the listing even offering?

It was offering 250 mystery boxes @ $99 each for sale with gadget / electronic contents worth $500.

It seems that the website itself is now down for maintenance: https://www.webmediahouse.net/

And the page with details of the promotion is down also: https://www.webmediahouse.net/special-offer/mystery-box/

EDIT: It also looks like the associated Facebook, Twitter and Google +1 pages have also been removed.

Thanks for explaining.
This doesn't seem fishy at all.  Grin

Ha ha I know its weird how a few hours after making the original post offering the boxes for sale it then changed to they're all sold and now the website and everything has gone?

"Scheduled infinite maintenance " He tried to Scam, and failed.

Yes it certainly seems that way now but it looked like a legit operation when I had a nose around. Strange how it was shut down so quickly.
2206  Economy / Goods / Re: Hallmarked 14ct Yellow Gold Diamond Ring on: April 20, 2015, 03:15:27 PM
You'll need to post some photo's of the ring with a piece of paper showing your forum username and the date.

Also being a newbie you'll need to accept escrow will be used.

2212  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you assume Satoshi was a Male? on: April 17, 2015, 11:40:43 PM
I've been reading "Book of Satoshi", a collection of almost all of Satoshi's online writings.  I've come to the conclusion and am 100% convinced that Satoshi is not/was not a singular person.  When you start seeing all of the potential issues that people brought up and how Satoshi thought of everything (not literally, but come on, basically everything) then you have to wonder how one person could have done it.  You need a team of people to sit around and bounce things off each other. It doesn't need to be a big team, 3 or 5 people would probably do it, but the initial project has all the signs of a collaborative effort.

I agree I don't think Satoshi was 1 person either.
2213  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RARE] 3 X limited Cryptolator coins, all numbered #16 on: April 17, 2015, 11:19:43 PM
Where are you shipping from? How much did you have in mind?

Shipping from European Union so the shipping to EU will be lower, but I don't have a price in mind.
The offer must be a good one. This is a RARE set. As far as I know there is only one set containing same coins here on BitcoinTalk numbered #15.

Hi buddy it was me that sold the #15's set: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=916630.msg10063968#msg10063968

I needed some btc so did a deal for them with another coin to someone. I cant say how much exactly but it was considerably less than 1btc.

I regret selling them now because they are lovely coins. If you can get the silver with same number the set would be complete, I don't know of any complete 4 coin sets.

Yes I saw the deal Smiley Well I'm not sure if I will sell this set. Maybe I can get the silver and copper #16 that would be great

If you don't need to sell then I'd recommend you don't. Try and get the other coins to make the full set, that would be awesome Smiley.

He would also need the #16 Copper coin for a complete 5 coin set. Cryptolator released (in this order I believe):
1 BTC .999 Silver
0.1 BTC Merlin Gold
0.1 BTC Antique Copper
0.1 BTC Antique Bronze
0.1 BTC Copper

That would be a badass complete set. Sorry for the off-topic though. To the OP- those are some very nice coins, high-quality like all of Cryptolator's, but I can't help appraise them unfortunately. There have not been too many sales on the 2nd market of the Antiques for me to get a good price range. I would say start off a little higher though, and then you can always adjust it down a bit after some time if they're still in your hands. Better than selling them quickly and realizing you could have gotten a lot more? Good Luck with your sale.

Yes sorry my mistake Embarrassed. I listed mine as antique brass instead of antique bronze. All 5 of the same number would be a really nice set Smiley.
