I think Manchester United coach needs to re-strategise on how to put Ronaldo in his plans because he cannot do without that player.He won without him against Liverpool,but let's not forget that Liverpool is not the best side to play against at the moment, the best team to play against at the moment is Arsenal.It is when he uses that pattern of playing without Ronaldo and he succeeds,that he should continue using the pattern,not against Liverpool who are struggling at the moment.
