2201  Economy / Securities / Re: Red Star Mining IPO GLBSE Listing - FPGA double boards ~800MH/s@~40W - each on: April 16, 2012, 07:12:47 PM

I was given a "Priority Mail" tracking code yesterday dated the 12th April and told one day after that item is delivered then our first board will ship.  Board #2 is still on time and may actually be early.

I understand peoples worries but I have photographs of our completed hardware I'm just not allowed to share them until the new FPGA company goes public which I think should be by early next week.

Board #1 will be shipped this Wednesday/Thursday after they have been delivered to our supplier(that's what the tracking code is for) board #2 two weeks later.
2202  Economy / Securities / Re: Red Star Mining IPO GLBSE Listing - FPGA double boards ~800MH/s@~40W - each on: April 16, 2012, 06:05:37 PM
Quick update board #1 should ship to us by no later than this Wednesday or Thursday at the very latest and board #2 probably two weeks later at the most.  So the first weekly dividend should be paid by no later than 29/04/12 - 04/05/12 then the full weekly dividend of 0.00333BTC per share off both boards two weeks later.  Then as soon as we can sell another 600+ shares (400 remain to be issued) at 0.4BTC each then we can raise the weekly dividend per share to ~>0.004BTC by the purchase of board #3.
2203  Other / Meta / Re: The Lending/Securities subforum on: April 16, 2012, 04:46:27 PM
Also with my GLBSE "RSM" item listed in that sub-forum has nothing to do with lending really as investors are buying outright a share in the company and all hardware that comes with it.  Also people won't find that forum unless they go looking for lending and my company is a security yes but it's not a bond or anything to do with lending.
2204  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The case for an afterlife is very simple. on: April 16, 2012, 03:43:19 PM
The effects of time can be changed as you approach the speed of light so time travel is possible forward in time but not back in time before the time of the creation of the first time-machine (time-machine = wormhole or area of warped space-time - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_travel#Tourism_in_time ) but for my two-satoshi worth I reckon the creation of time-travel will be the creation of the next big-bang.
2205  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The case for an afterlife is very simple. on: April 16, 2012, 03:29:22 PM
With infinite time (which must be because time cannot be "started") all possibilities will happen, including countless versions of yourself. But your current conciousness is unique because its a reflection of the current possible reality only.

Reincarnation is only possible if there were a way to preserve memory after death. Currently its not possible, much like bitcoins lost if their private keys are lost.

Time is just a dimension just like the three dimensions of space they probably didn't exist before the big-bang and in the nanoseconds after the big-bang there was probably more dimensions created then the four we know of time and space but probably only existed briefly then collapsed to only have any effects at quantum levels which explains the strange effects of quantum theory.
2206  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The case for an afterlife is very simple. on: April 16, 2012, 03:20:40 PM
If the Universe and time were infinite (and there not) there would be a very probable chance of other versions identical to you existing but it wouldn't be reincarnation just the effects of "chance".

Additionally, what case calls for a finite universe that spawns from nothing?

There probably was mass before the big bang but probably not the dimension of time or the other three dimensions of space.

2208  Other / Off-topic / Re: FREENET Public-Key swap on: April 15, 2012, 06:38:09 PM
Would like to start a thread for people who want to swap public-keys on FREENET.  You don't have to post your key publicly on this thread just post that you are interested in swapping public-keys.  So "pm" me if you would like to swap keys and post a comment if you are looking for other people to swap public-keys with.  Thanks.  Matt.

Purpose ?

Just started using FREENET and looking for some "friends" I can semi-trust from this forum I can add to get a better connection (as at the moment with 1 friend and 33 strangers connected a search for "bitcoin" brings up nothing [my node is very new tho Huh ])

Shall we start a new thread for swapping Freenet public keys?

If Phinn was looking for another reason for Theymos not to take french classes, you already gave it to him.
French people are so stupid that when you don't know their language correctly they make fun of you instead of helping you to type/talk correctly. <--- Biggest reason of them all. French being a gay language kinda loses it's importance when you have such a reason.

Here in Québec (french province of Canada), we really appreciate anglophones who try to speak french, it's the best way to show us respect. To thank you for the respect, we usually help you by trying to talk english, and giving you hint in french. But, if an anglophone comes here and only speak english without bothering himself to try to speak french, it's the best way to lose our respect. But I can't say about the habits of other countries (like France).

We're also somewhat crazy about our language and culture. We protect it strongly, with the help of many laws, like loi 101 that give predominance to french over other languages.

I know french is not the most useful language in the world but...here in Québec, the age for alcohol, strippers and nightclubs is 18 years old. And we're known to like party a lot. So the most useful thing for you guys to learn french, it's to learn an acceptable minimum of it, come here, gain our respect and learn how to party.  Grin

Yes the French in France can be very rude too unless your fluent in their languge but if you go to Germany or Spain the locals are usually very friendly to people who don't know their languge or go to the Netherlands and you'll see English speaking TV channels.  If I had the time to learn a language it would be German, Japanese or Mandrin but if I was just learning for fun I would choose a Gaelic language Manx or Cornish (then I'd be understood in Brittany North Western France  Wink )

Ya I agree, the most useful 3 languages..

After English.

we can start to guess what excuse matthew will use next time.

Niggles in the software are still being ironed out by a team of software developers (this is probably why they haven't gone public yet [the hardware was completed a week ago]) but I was given a "Priority Mail" tracking code yesterday dated the 12th April and told one day after that item is delivered then our first board will ship.  Board #2 is still on time and may actually be early.

It would be easier to track GLBSE news if it was all grouped together.
2215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin ASICs on: April 13, 2012, 05:13:16 PM
I think your more likely to see an FPGA with extra blockram before an ASIC and probably only when the current price is like >x100.
2216  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Chrome Browser extension: MtGox trading bot on: April 12, 2012, 11:46:10 PM
So I'm down 1% after using the bot for over five weeks.  Well it will be the three month mark before I decide on putting real money on the bot or not.

Edit:  Maybe six months?

Well my node isn't showing any of the 27 bitcoiners it knows about as being online. So somehow our nodes have lost the ability to find each other or something? Do your nodes have my no-ip hostname, crossciv.no-ip.org in their records of me? If so that ought to be letting them find me even when my ISP changes my IP-address...

-MarkM-

Hang-on I'll just turn it on now (still not added everyone [plus most people haven't come online too {only one I think <must be you  Cheesy >}]) and the other thing I don't like about Retroshare is that you can't export your "public-key" list like when you do a re-install that's why I always go back to OneSwarm - http://www.oneswarm.org/about.html - with its community servers.
2219  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New RetroShare Bitcoin Forum on: April 12, 2012, 10:09:18 PM
So what is happening with this? Not one of you people are online??? I have no connections despite 27 bitcoiners listed to connect to!

-MarkM-

I don't use it often only when I want to download something as it lowers my litecoin mining rate.

trying to convince anyone who will listen that teaching a 17 year old model about bitcoin somehow means I am a pedophile

Is it normal that you as a teacher, film underage students in their underwear and publish this online ?

You should protect these kids, prevent this from happening. Angry

In the UK sixteen is the legal age to have sex and get married plus they say a minimum suitable age for your partner is half your age plus seven years.

So if you was twenty going with a seventeen year old would not be frowned upon.  Regarding the laws of pornography I'm not sure probably eighteen tho probably should be twenty-one as should be prostitutes.
