2201  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in 2019? on: February 26, 2019, 11:07:26 AM
I've always been watching bitcoin since mid-2013 up to now, and the market/bubble is painfully toxic. I'm not a big investor or economist, and I probably still only have superficial knowledge on how the entire blockchain systems work.

I just patiently watch the graph, and keep telling myself not to invest because everyone tells me it's a giant bubble that will someday pop. Recently, I started to run a few side businesses dealing in Bitcoin as payment methods, but I've never stored it long term and always converted it to cash.

I remember back in 2014 when I first thought of investing in Bitcoin as a long-term investment, and obviously was pressured out of it because everyone kept thinking it was a bubble that was about to burst. I'm starting to think about it again now that Bitcoin is starting to crash - and generally speaking in the past it's done quite well after crashes, recovering and increasing every once in a while.

What do you guys think? Is it worth it to give it a try? This would be my second crypto investment, and I'd be throwing in $5-10,000 at most. Any ideas?
I think it is still worth it to invest in bitcoin because it is good for long term investment and there will be chances that bitcoin can surpass its ATH price. And if you start investing your money bitcoin you better have the patience in waiting for your investment to gain more.
2202  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: February 25, 2019, 04:41:19 PM
I am relatively new with regard to bitcoin but what I have noticed is that a lot of people just invest on it and then cash in when they feel like it is already enough to make a profit. I do not think that this will not be great in the long run because of it being unstable. So what can be done to make it stable?
I think the best way to make bitcoin to become stable is to convince the government in other countries to unbanned bitcoin and accept it as a legal currency because more people will start to invest their money in bitcoin.
2203  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto solve socioeconomic problems? on: February 25, 2019, 04:15:22 PM
If everyone around the world gets into cryptocurrency, do you think it will even help in solving or lessen socioeconomic problems? Can it be used to buy goods from other countries? It is fair to say that crypto will help a lot of people but what will it do to one's country? Will it help improve a country's economy?
Cryptocurrency have help a lot of people interms of financial problems in life and they are now have the ability to support their daily needs thanks to crypto. So i think cryptocurrency can also help socioeconomic provlems because it helps to reduce unemployed people in a country.
2204  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use cryptocurrencies in your daily life? Are they useful? on: February 25, 2019, 03:46:01 PM
I do really see that cryptocurrency is really useful  in my own daily life because i usually use it as an payment to support my daily needs, but not all stores here do not accept crypto as an payment there are only limited fast food chains and stores who accepts it. Hoping one day that every store in our place and in our country will start accept cryptocurrency as an payment because it will also be a big help to improve cryptocurrency and to our economy.
2205  Economy / Economics / Re: the future of crypto is good or bad on: February 25, 2019, 03:28:44 PM
I want to invest my savings into cryptocurrency. So I think about the future of cryptocurrency. what do you think? Do you think the future or cryptocurrency is good? Or do you think the future or cryptocurrency is bad?
Please help me, because I will invest all my savings. So if I make a bad decision, my family and I will be on the road to improve my economy.
I believe the future of crypto can really be good and bad because the price is really not stable unlike fiat currency, that is why if the government will start to accept cryptocurrency as a legal currency there will be a chance that it can improve its price in the market.
2206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 best year for ICO on: February 25, 2019, 02:22:03 PM
I bet we will see better and baddass projects in 2020 simply because bitcoin halving is 2020 ,since what most devs care about is market condition and fear of dumping there tokens 2020 will be a better target for upcoming projects  and that doesn't mean there won't be scam projects too ,profits is all we care about isn't it?
I hope it will be the year for ICO in 2020 because there are a lot of prediction in cryptocurrency, but most of them are not true. Hoping that the upcoming year of 2020 or this 2019 cryptocurrency will become a huge success once again.
2207  Economy / Economics / Re: How to prevent fraud? on: February 25, 2019, 11:54:57 AM
To prevent fraud, you need to be wise enough before you invest your money and participate in a certain ICO project because there are a lot of scams today, that is why a lot of people are quitting in participating in ICO because of this kind of incidents. Checking the white paper and website is one of the best ways to assure the project is not a fraud.
2208  Economy / Economics / Re: In the future, will fiat currencies be necessary in the world? on: February 25, 2019, 11:45:33 AM
in the future, will there really be a need for fiat currency? Government can collect taxes in crypto, determine how to allocate it, and spend it in crypto. Ppl can receive salaries and do all commerce using crypto. Loans can be done in crypto. Fundraising can be in crypto. Sure, problems have to be worked out in terms of scalability, does it have to be completely decentralized, etc, the value has to become more stable. But theoretically, is there any reason to have fiat in the future?

It has been established that governments can now do taxation without representation by printing more money (which is a tax on everyone holding the currency), instead of trying to get a bill passed that allows it to increase the tax rate. With crypto this would be no more. All increased taxation would have to pass a vote.

From an economic standpoint, the idea that a country can stimulate its economy by adjusting interest rates is tenuous. There is just as strong an argument that lowering interest rates has caused speculation and bubbles, with calamitous results. In a crypto market economy, capital will flow from where it is needed less to where it is needed more.
I think fiat currency is really necessary in the world because even though cryptocurrency have been recognized by a lot countries. I still believe people will still exchange it to fiat currency because the government only support fiat currency not cryptocurrency.
2209  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: February 25, 2019, 11:03:48 AM
How can we get people to use bitcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to get cash as a lot of people seem to do? When I say currency, I mean the literal definition of currency as something that is used as a medium of exchange.
Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.
Based on my own experience, i have already taught one of my friends to use and to invest in bitcoin for them to support their daily needs in life and i also encourage them that using bitcoin as a currency has a advantage because every transaction will be more faster and convenient when you do it in every store, that is why a lot of people are hoping that the bitcoin will start to be legalize the government.

2211  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can I quit smoking? on: February 17, 2019, 02:34:06 AM
I started practicing cigarettes since I was 9 years old. Regular smoking starts from the age of 12. Now I am 26 years old, I'm trying hard to give up smoking, but can not do  not? Can someone give me some good advice to quit smoking?
In order to quit something, you should prepare doing something in replace to that. Simply, the time you consume doing the activity that you want to stop, should be taken by another activity in order to have a full stop. I am before addicted into drinking but gladly a found a game.
Can you suggest activities in which I could replace my habit? I am also a smoker.
2212  Other / Off-topic / Re: Shopping Online on: February 17, 2019, 02:17:19 AM
Hello Friends...

Do you buy clothes, electronics (mobile phones, computers/laptops etc..), Groceries, fruits and vegetables etc.. from online stores/shops ?
Once I did online shopping at 12 a.m midnight
What's good these days?there are service sites which have adapted blockchain technology. You can now order medicines, clothes and as such using cryptocurrency online. Also play gambling with the use of cryptos.
Is it possible even on purchasing goods? I've heard about cryptos being used in gambling but can you give some names of gambling site which uses crypto as its mode of payment?
2213  Other / Off-topic / Re: What keeps you awake late night ? on: February 17, 2019, 02:07:24 AM
Sometimes I find it hard to sleep!! guess the internet has distorted my night rest!!

I close my eyes but I think of many things going online without me been there.
read and try to get more accomplished I find out my Night was spent working!

It's crazy how one can be connected to what he does.

Playing games would be probably the answer of the majority. Well, same thing in my case, being awake at night but sleeping the whole day. Activities are sometimes more enjoying to do at night.
What kind of games would keep you awake at night? won't it be boring because it would be too quiet?
2214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is etherium good for long term on: November 02, 2018, 10:56:45 PM
Can i trust on etherium project
I want to hold it for long term 5-10 years
Can i use hardware wallet (ledger or trezor)?

I would bet that ethereum is one of the best cryptos for long term investment and holding. Its market value have been negatively affected by the downtrend scenario at this moment but keep in mind that ethereum is having a large community of users which would be its biggest advantage particularly with the demand that would be the key for its market value to fully recover out of the continuous dumps.
2215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where To Invest 500$ on: November 01, 2018, 11:00:14 PM
Hey Everyone I'm Very New To Crypto And I Just Want Some Good Suggestions That I Have 500$ And Where Should I Invest Them?

Help Will Be Appreciated Thank You.
I suggest investing it to 3 Ethereum. Its market value is below 200usd from having a market price of 1400usd last year. And once recovery happen, the profit will surely not only doubled and since Ethereum is one of the cryptos that are having huge possibility to recover, it will be a good choice. Another reason is that bigger quantity of holding would be to the investors for the low market value that it is having at this moment.
2216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that every end of the year so many Crypto-holders are rich? on: November 01, 2018, 10:36:18 PM
Its been 5 months now, since I joined cryptocurrency ,I've seen many ups and downs in Bitcoin Currency and Altcoins even in those Rank 2 to 100 in Coinmarketcap, but I just want to clarify why every end of the year starts in September then up to  December Bitcoin fly high, any fundamental reason why does the value of Bitcoin and other currency go up?
It appears to be not every year. Not every year, bull run will take place. Every year won't be just like what happened last year wherein the market value of cryptos have gone sky rocket and many investors have earned huge profit from most of their investments. But what happened this year is the opposite, proving that the increase on every is not constant and there will be always times for downfalls no matter how big the expectation is for the market on every year.
2217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: buy Altcoins on this time ??? on: October 27, 2018, 11:42:47 PM
I see the market is gradually recovering. Is this the right time to buy Altcoins. Let me see your ideas
I would suggest holding what is already there because in my opinion, investing at this point would be a risky decision to make especially with regards to ICO projects wherein most of it are resulting to profit loss this year no matter how huge the potential is, due to the negative influence of the market itself which negatively affects the outcome of the projects. So for now, holding is the best thing to do until recovery take place someday.
2218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethreum Price By end Of Year on: October 27, 2018, 11:33:46 PM
It is currently below 250usd and since recovery is not yet occuring at this point, I am not expecting that its market price will even reach 500usd by the end of this year. It would be more advisable to hold and patiently wait for recovery to come than to make absurd predictions that its market price will go skyrocket this year. We shpuld lear how to accept things with regards to the market such that it won't always be a huge year for cryptos.
2219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is the beginning of the 2019 altcoin'll be back? on: October 27, 2018, 11:20:04 PM
Right now the prices of all altcoin in very drastic, especially ETH, whether in 2019 it'll be back, or just keep it stable?
Give me your opinion.
No assurance yet in my opinion so it would be more practical to wait and hold until that day come where the market value will be on continuous increase. I am really expecting for increase to happen next year but obviously it won't happen in an instant so maybe, the increase would happen on the third month of next year. But what is more important is to be patient and to not make any absurd speculations and expectations.
2220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do You Think A Bull Run Is Really Coming on: October 27, 2018, 10:59:50 PM
People are holding primarily because selling will only cut down their profit completely as well as the chance to earn profit afterwards when recovery take over the negative market situation. It is indeed hard to believe that bullrun is still possible to take place despite of the continuous downtrend in the market, but it is the only hope for investors and we should respect that. There is no assurance indeed and that is the reason why people choose to wait in order to witness if such thing would happen that will give them ghe benefit of the doubt.
