22121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: June 14, 2015, 08:26:15 AM
This is only the beginning in my opinion. nothing wrong with taking a profit. I want to take short term profits but I also believe that it has a lot more room to grow
Thats right don't rush your self to become a rich person. You should go slowly but surely and safe.
if you are after getting short term profits you have to become a day trader and have the power to anticipate the market and take profit from swings. otherwise nowadays you can not make any profit from bitcoin since the price is at a fixed state.

but if you are a long term investor, things are different. if you believe in bright future for bitcoin you have to buy some stash an put it away for the future and don't look back.
22122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: June 14, 2015, 08:19:54 AM
currently i mostly save up my bitcoins that i earn, and additionally i try to buy some more if i can afford it and the price is right.
but other than that i try to do some altcoin trading with my bitcoin so that they are not just sitting there, and i try to earn some profit this way.
also i do some gambling, but i try to keep it minimal so when i lose i don't get much sad.

Gambling is for fun and I also used it for gambling on sports but I use it only when If I am sure that I will win and I gamble only on those sports which I can trust and of which I possess great knowledge and it is for fun so I gamble very less so even i loose it would not be much painful.
yeah, i agree that gambling is just for fun. that is why i keep it minimal.
besides i just do some gambling in dice from time to time which is a nice way to have some fun and sometimes win some nice rewards.
22123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: June 14, 2015, 08:15:49 AM
Right now, i only get bitcoin from faucet rotator and cloudmining. But i'm aware of cloudmining so i didn't invest all of my BTC to cloudmining because i'm afraid it become scam and ponzi. So 80% of my BTC are from faucet rotator. Wink It's easy and i'm not afraid of scam or ponzi.
From my know about cloudmining they just mine to a particular company, so you mean that you mined for a company? so how its rate for they miners?

there are no "profitable" cloudmining services available and in the past there were cloudmining services but they weren't profitable either.
there is an interesting topic on cloudminers here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=878387.msg9697654#msg9697654

i personally did cloudmining at cex.io back when it was active, but the only thing that was worth the investment was the ability to sell the hash power when its price went up.
22124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Ever Take Out a Loan in Bitcoin? on: June 14, 2015, 08:10:11 AM
Hey Bitcoin Community! Essentially, I would like to know if you would ever consider taking out a loan in bitcoin? If you have previously taken out a loan, please share your experiences! What were the pros and cons, and what would you improve? Thanks  Smiley

taken out tons of loans, funded lots of loans. If you're gonna do it , do it through btc-jam or such a service as that with verification. Too many scammers around these days, always need some sort of escrow.
BTCJam aren't securing your loans by a bit. Many members on the site has been creating account using fake ID and their support is non existent. If you are looking for one, look for one that is trusted and can allow the borrower to put something in escrow. ID verifications isn't worth anything.
it is hard to trust anybody anymore these days. i would never give anybody any loan without any collateral no matter how much good history they have got. especially on BTCjam, the trust service and any kind of verification that they have got, is not a 100% grantee that you dont lose money to a scammer.
with collateral at least you know that your money is safe.
22125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happenning to bitcoin? Why it's not growing while Litecoin does? I know. on: June 14, 2015, 08:06:49 AM
don't get all excited about it. this is simply another pump that is happening right now. since bitcoin is at somewhat a fixed price it is only natural that investors start pumping another coin, and the next in line is litecoin. all this hype is gonna end and we are going to see the same dead lite-market again.
22126  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Generation Social Gambling Dice Experience on: June 13, 2015, 07:54:37 AM
i have problem logging in my account.
i keeps asking me to authenticate myself, i don't have 2fa or anything. i just created that account some time ago and only set a password.
22127  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♛ CrimeDice.com ✣ Social Dice Platform ✣ All Countries ♛ on: June 13, 2015, 07:50:32 AM
The site still bombs when trying to get a password reset.

And I'd make a new account, but it bombs on that too.

Fix your broken shit before you advertise your site.
i think you should have announced the website as trial beta version and fixed the bugs that you encounter, then released it as finished.
it currently has a lot of bugs, so it is not safe to do any betting there.
22128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: June 13, 2015, 07:47:25 AM
Never try martingale, really slow earnings if you go safe(which is not safe after all considering things like Provably fair) and really fast earnings but really dangerous high base bets. My biggest lose was 0.05btc with martingale. Base bet from 1k(cause i don't like to go safe)

I have 0.1 and lost all with martingle iam start from 1satosi, i get more than 20redline, that very high risk
you don't lose 0.1BTC in martingale if you start from 1 satoshi you will need 23-24 bets to lose all your balance. after 20 i think you will lose around 0.01BTC
if you want to try martingale first have an infinite wallet Cheesy
22129  Economy / Gambling / Re: Biggest streak that you won in the end on: June 13, 2015, 07:43:34 AM
i have lost every streak that i have had as long as i remember Cheesy
but i think i won after 10 lose in a row and then won but at the end of it all i always had a big losing streak that exceeded my balance and left me with 0 satoshi and back to the faucet Cheesy
22130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there any possibility to hit the BTC price @ $16666.66 ? on: June 13, 2015, 07:33:26 AM
reaching 16K$ is not an easy mark to reach for bitcoin.
after the first upcoming halving is 2016 the price might start going up and make another bobble but to reach any bigger bubble it needs some major adoptation and investments which i don't see happening anytime soon.
22131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Prediction 2015 ฿ on: June 13, 2015, 07:24:07 AM
the price looks stuck at the same stage for a long time now. it is good that the price is somewhat fixed but i wonder when this stage is going to be over.
and about the poll 36% saying $1000+ by the end of year 2015, i don't think so. it needs a lot more than what is going on right now to reach anywhere near $1000
22132  Economy / Speculation / Re: People don't want to invest into bitcoin because its a software on: June 13, 2015, 07:15:11 AM
if people aren't investing into bitcoin is because they are used to their regular routines and don't want to try new, and in some aspects better things.
besides bitcoin is not at a stage that makes people want to accept it and as long as investment goes, until the price is so volatile and unpredictable nobody is going to find it a more reliable investment than other things.
22133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in deep trouble. Litecoin to take its place soon. on: June 13, 2015, 07:12:09 AM
If bitcoin ever fails, I don't see any other alternative at this moment worth taking over its place. People would have lost trust on alternate currency as a whole and it doesn't matter if the next has major improvement over the other. Just accept the fact, every alternative right now is using bitcoin as a benchmark for their price.
as i have said many times, i believe that the only purpose of current altcoins are to be pumped and dumped and help some people make profit from this process. and all those fancy features that they are talking about are useless since nobody cares about them and they are not accepted by people.
22134  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin bubbles again, Chinese exchanges will have problems on: June 13, 2015, 07:07:26 AM
they have to eventually adapt to the changes, bitcoin bubble is inevitable. so they have to find a way to cope with it.
but the fact that China's top three exchanges made a pact to keep bitcoin from bubbling, looks a bit hard in my opinion. if the bubble is going to happen they might not be able to prevent it.
22135  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: June 13, 2015, 07:02:48 AM
It can be anonymous for new users of porn.

As already mentioned in this thread many times, porn users can't remain anonymous. You have to show that you are above the age of 18, to get subscription to these websites. If you are using an anonymous payment option such as Bitcoin, you might need to give some other identification, such as your social security number.
the whole point of staying anonymous is that the charges of subscription to those websites will not show up in your credit card bill if you pay with bitcoin Cheesy
22136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best Investment Option for Bitcoins? on: June 13, 2015, 07:00:25 AM
I have a few bitcoins and am going to buy a few more in a day or two. Will have some 10+ Bitcoins then. I wanted to know which is the best investment option where I can invest my bitcoins and earn some profits as their is no point of just holding them and let them stay dead in my wallet.
I think the best way is to start trading. but you have to accept the risks and be able to know how to win in the market and reach profit.
also you can start lending people to get some more profit out of your coins.
if you like, you can create a faucet or a bitcoin related website and accept advertisements and earn money that way too.

How hard is it to create a faucet for bitcoin?  Is there a web template/script one could use to set this up?
Thought about creating one for my friends, to get them introduced to bitcoin.

Thanks in advance!
H.
it is not as hard as you might think. you can even find the complete site script and just change a couple of things to make it your own.
but the point is that creating a faucet is no going to be any good for you. you are going to lose more money than you earn if you don't know how to monetize your efforts.
22137  Economy / Securities / Re: Will get about 50 btc to invest, looking for great investment oppurtunities on: June 13, 2015, 06:40:31 AM
first of all i have to say, if you believe that bitcoin price is going to rise, holding your bitcoins is the best option for you.

but if you want to invest.
since 50BTC is around 11500$ you might have a good chance of investing the fiat into some business and get a good profit out of that with much lower risk than any other bitcoin investment. the business that i am talking about can be different in every country so you have to ask people close to you.

if you want to invest bitcoin [not fiat]
the thing that i like to do with my stash is investing them in altcoin market and do a little trading. the profit can be good if you know how to do it.
22138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: June 13, 2015, 06:01:42 AM
Hmm, 1 year ago, I would prefer trading. I earned 60BTC from altcoin trading last year. But I was scammed by some shit altcoins and lost my all of bitcoins, I was broke.

can you tell me more about what strategy you used for trading altcoins?, what coins you purchased?, any method you used?, sounds interesting trading altcoins, would love to hear from you, i personally had few hundred thousand stellars and made some profit.
unfortunately nobody is going to give out their successful strategies to other people. at least not for free. this is something that you have to learn by lurking around, reading and getting your hands dirty by trading stuff yourself.
and most people who ask for money in return to giving away the strategies and information are mostly scams, or pump groups trying to get a coin pumped so that they can dump it.
22139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / is there any good open source bot for trading altcoin? on: June 12, 2015, 12:05:19 PM
hi.
i am interested to use a bot for my tradings, so i was wondering if anyone uses one that is good or they are happy with. a bot that is working with most exchangers, preferably bittrex, cryptcy and polonoix

i prefer it to be open source, so i can do some changes to the coding. i don't want to do it from scratch.
22140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Trading June - will I be able to make profit? on: June 12, 2015, 11:56:09 AM
Started trading on Monday!

Bought 100 ParkByte (PKB) at 0.00000355 Bitcoin (BTC).
Sold 100 PKB at 0.00000375 BTC.

Made a profit of 0.00002 Bitcoin which worth around 0.004490 United State Dollar (USD).
good work.
try to invest in multiple coins every time you want to buy and sell. there are a lot of coins that are giving profit every day. and if you can find them beforehand and invest in, you can get an easy and bigger profit every time.

also by spreading your investment between multiple coins, you guarantee profit. if you lose 1 others will cover the losses.

but if you have invested in one coin, and it goes down you lost your opportunities.

Thanks for giving me those tips. Those will come handy.. sometime later.. :/ - see below.

You should go to bittrex to trade. There are lots of altcoins and volume is good.
There is a good chance you can catch some rising altcoins.

Hmm.. I think I'm going to withdraw what I have at YoBit.Net and start daytrading at Bittrex. Already deposit 0.02 Bitcoin into my Bittrex account. Smiley. Why withdraw all from Yobit? Well, bought 1000 PTA at 0.00000536 each. The next day it became 0.00000236. I hold on to those coin believing it value will rise again. I'm wrong, now it is only valued at 0.00000051. :/.

3rd June 2015

Bought 1000 Pentacoin (PTA) at 0.00000536 Bitcoin (BTC) each.

12th June 2015

1000 PTA worth around 0.00051000

0.00051000-(0.00000536*1000)= -0.00485 Profit.

I'm not giving up. I will be trading on Bittrex soon. Will update this thread again. Smiley.
that is why there are conditional trade offers available.
for example you place condition that if the price changes XX% then buy or sell. this way you can be safe even when you are asleep.

and don't worry about losses, i did that with NLG (i think) i bought at 600 just to see it fall to 400 and then gave up on it Cheesy
