It is like gambling site and nothing more. You can win some BTC, but then you must gamble like in Dice sites it's actually just a faucet. Gamble would involve a potential loss, but you can only gain. only dust, but still The gambling part of the faucet, is an OPTION. I repeat an option. Why roll, when you can just add up on free rolls or just focus on the referral network lol. because some people like me like to gamble dice and it is an awesome opportunity to do it with a faucet that pays a lot and you can gamble with that amount, and since it is not a lot of money and it is free you won't get sad when losing although i hope they improve their multiply section and add a better bot.

i use blockchain.info for online wallet, but most of my coins are in a cold electrum wallet.
i dont even have enough bitcoins to justify cold storage. working on it, trying to trade my way to a bigger stash. Honestly it does not have to be a huge amount to try it. Even with small amount's it's good to test out cold storage. Usb and paper wallets are pretty solid way's of storing your coin in cold storage. And testing where you don't lose a ton if something goes wrong, is really a pretty smart idea. but i think any bitcoin amount which is less than {lets say} 0.5 BTC is not worth keeping in cold wallet. because IMO it is a lot of work to set it up and to use that amount if you want to spend it.

Does anyone know a good way to advertise your faucet referral links. I havent been able to find any
the easiest way to advertise your referral links which is free is not post it on bitcoin related forums, and social networks. remember to read the rules first, because some forums like here don't allow referral links. another way which is efficient but not free is to use a paid to click website. something like coinad or btcclick are good to consider. another way that many people are doing these days is to create a faucet rotator and advertise that to get referrals to all your faucets. you can also create a blog with related posts to get traffic and as a result referrals.

Bitcoin, Dogecoin and Peercoin all use SHA-256 Cryptography Litecoin uses Scrypt.
They all differ in price, total coin amount and transaction time.
Doge actually uses scrypt, and I don't really know how peercoin works but they claimed that they are hybrid. bitcoin = first cryptocurrency litecoin = first scryptcoin and altcoin doge = based on a joke peercoin = ? You cant describe Dogecoin as a based on a joke. is a coin as all other. Yes there is a myth that only gives him good that is a joke coin. i agree, although it is a correct fact about Dogecoin, it is not the first thing you say about it. it is another altcoin like others with a huge and cool community of people using it. and specially with the recent price jump, it made a lot of people happy. Consider that every alt coin relies on bitcoins value.
~~
not necessarily true IMO. i think the ones that are being traded with both fiat and BTC are affected by bitcoin's price, and the rest have their own price swings going on.

aside from signature campaign i sold one of my altcoins that i have bought a couple of days back and doubled my investment which was an awesome profit for me in a short time

if in any way someone could have produced all those pages of private keys be sure that he wouldn't publish it, the first thing he would do is to empty the wallets that he could find from first page onward.
and since this website has been around for years, i assure you that it is a scam to make people go check their private keys in that search thingy and lose their coins.

the thing is whenever you mention the word "altcoin" in crypto world first thing that comes to everybody's mind is scam/ pump and dump / shitcoin. and to be honest it is not completely wrong assumption.
as long as there is a stronger cryptocurrency called bitcoin with the huge support, and there is no altcoin available that has enough potential to replace, or compete with it, nothing can replace bitcoin.

before anything the coin must not just be a simple copy of another altcoin, i prefer it to have some new features and features that are actually useful.
the coin must be adopted by people which means a coin that no one uses is useless even if it has the best features.
the last but not least, is the price. if i ever want to invest in an altcoin, i want at least an stable price and not an ever falling price which is headed towards 0.

What is the best way to support your favorite alt coin
I left out starting your own pool and things like adding code to the coin since this is beyond the ability of most people and not realistic.
Still I am curious. My opinions are running a full node and mining the coin are the best ways to support a coin. ANY COIN
i think the best way is to involve more people with the coin, the more people adapt the coin the bigger and better the coin will get. although this goes without saying that the coin must at least have the potential , and not every altcoin has that. one of the best ways IMO is to do giveaways, especially i found that coins subreddits are a good place for these kind of stuff. and outsource every one who can do stuff like mining, running a full node or even helping with the coding should do that.

I earned a few btc, did some work for a friend and he paid me in btc. It's actually not that bad, I helped him build a deck in the back yard, we spent about 12 hours on it and he gave me a btc. I feel good about it.
that is a really cool way to earn bitcoin. this gave me an idea, i might try it with some of my friends in order to bring some new blood in bitcoin community

there are a lot of google ads these days in every faucet i think google is the highest paying advertising network. also adbit.co and beead (not sure about the name) is a popular one. and you are already using a-ads and bitclick which are decent

you're loving a site that is crappy and lots of bug? I would advice you not to associate yourself with these kind of sites coz you're likely risking your reputation and if you still like to apply then good luck.
Why u giving me bad reputation, just because im new here? im trying to promote our site, we also make statistics and if you got some good suggestions regarding our services you can peacefully write me an pm. There are no "bugs" it's all workin fine. greets it is not because you are new here with a new account. it is because you are apparently new to the whole thing. you don't have a decent announcement thread! and the script you are using is a copy, and a copy of a poor script with a lot of flaws.

Hi guys, I think I'm in bad luck for today. Anyone have any idea to explain this can happen even I'm using 49.5% chance ? Here's my red streak dude, consider yourself lucky. having 10 losing streak is nothing. i had even 25 losing streaks on PD before. i used to do a lot of martingale, hence the 25 losing streaks which left me bankrupt that is when i started doing different stuff when gambling...

What I didn't understand: How will 75 coins increase per hour when the reward will decrease by a half?
The current reward is 25 BTC, which increases the supply at the rate of 150 per hour. After the halving, the supply will continue to increase, but at the rate of 75 BTC per hour. i think we have to keep in mind that block reward decreasing means that miners will earn less bitcoin. and since they are not dumping what they earned right after they got it, it doesn't necessarily mean that "supply" which is the "quantity supplied by producers" or being sold in the market is going to be decreased at the same rate.

^ Why do you think Bitcoin will go down that much again? And if it does, wouldn't it be more likely for the price to stay down for a long time? Or would most mining stop at that point and force the price up anyway?
it is rising a little bit today. looks like another bounce back. i think if price goes below $200 then it is going to continue to go down. and if it happens, we are soon going to see topics on 150 is the new normal!

Bitcoin is a troubled and risky coin now. Gavin does not give up with his hardfork efforts despite veto from all sides. Better dump for LTC as long as you can still get decent prices.
You have been warned.
As a low % chance outcome it cant hurt to have a little incase right? No other coin is ahead of LTC if something crazy happened to bitcoin the other ones look pretty much dead on coinmarketcap. litecoin has a very good market "right now" and that is it. this is only a phase like it was many times before that. and it is a pretty good idea to get involved with litecoin because of that % chance. but only if you are into altcoin trading and you have to leave the market before you become a bagholder.

some of the files might be corrupted that you are encountering an error.
with information that you have provided, i think the easiest way is to re-install electrum client after you backed up your wallet.
as a last resort you can import your private keys in any other wallet to be able to spend your coins and save them.
