I am staking 12.000 clams from desktop wallet. Time expected to earn 1 clam is 1 hour (says wallet) But I am not getting more than 5-8 each day.
Is that ok.
Not sure where that calculation comes from but it isn't correct. You are staking 12k claims. The reward per staked block is 1 clam. If you were to get one block every hour that would be 1/60 of the total, so by simple math the the network total staked would be 720k. That's off by half or more. IMO you should never trust a wallets numbers. Bitcoin wallet recommends like 2x-10x the needed fee to push a transaction too. FreeBitcoins.com rocket game is staking around 13,000 CLAM atm. We just crossed 100 blocks staked last night. Total Stakes: 107 Total CLAM: 107.00310000 Orphan Count: 20 The reason our orphan count was so high was due to our CLAM client not communicating with peers properly and JD beating us because of our error. It's been fixed though. I would imagine our orphan count stays pretty low on our way to 1000 blocks. |

Also, I was on vacation and desktop with wallet stopped. Then I put is on sync and enabled staking and I got abot 200 clams same day, 170 of then were invalid and 20-30 valid.
Something strange I think.
Question about just-dice.com, does it pay for stacking coins also and is there a fee for staking while investing. TY.
170 invalid is quite crazy!! Just-dice.com charges 10% on coins staked. FreeBitcoins.com charges 10% on coins staked too. |

XAYA is a new and more general, advanced project run by the Huntercoin team (including snailbrain who invented blockchain gaming with Huntercoin). We want to take the learnings from the Huntercoin experiment to the next level with XAYA - but of course, Huntercoin itself is still live and prospering as well.
There was a snapshot for giving CHI to HUC holders, but that was already last year - so if you buy HUC now, unfortunately you won't get CHI for it.
I had my HUC on Poloniex at the time... Have they announced any plans for sharing the CHI with users? We've just been notified that poloniex will allow the CHI withdrawal from their exchange. You'll need to wait till the end of the main sale before you get it though (when we know the total supply). Color me impressed. I can barely withdraw my own legit coins off Poloniex. So is HUC dead then? CHI is the new premined "fork" (for a whopping 4.5% of HUC snapshot) that is being pushed in this thread? Perhaps creating a new thread or changing the topic? |
