Question about just-dice.com, does it pay for stacking coins also and is there a fee for staking while investing. TY.

JD stakes for investors and charges 10% fee.

Thanks for taking a look, sir!

New feature: I added a live feed in the home, so anyone can take a look at the new speeches that keep coming with the new blocks. Suggestions are welcome!

For those who might haven't know about this:

BTCPOP offer POS staking pool for many POS coins, including CLAM & not just staking pool they also have a faucet that's offering many POS coins. The coins claimed from the faucet is accumulated in the staking pool, so you will keep receive more coin even when you don't claim from the faucet. I've been in BTCPOP for years, so I can validate BTCPOP is legit. Check it out here: https://btcpop.co/Home/14023/Bitcointalk

,,,looks like good time to get some cheap clams !!!

I've had to sell a few CLAMS at this prices... it's just brutal to know how small our market cap is while selling!

Less than 1000 BTC buys the whole pot?

OK, so I've been a long-time lurker, I just want to say that this project is awesome, seeing that level of dev interaction is refreshing, you wouldn't believe how many devs give the investors nothing but radio silence

CLAM is a POS coin, so i think a lot of people keep the coins staking in a wallet instead of locked in a order inside an exchange. But they will probably put it to sell if the price goes up a lot, as happened before. JDice wallets were more than 70% of the network, but dropped to aprox. 35-40% after a bullrun months ago.

EDIT: I added a Clamour count in CSExplorer, listing all the clamours created and their respective votes. I am not sure about the percentage, as i am calculating them based on existing votes. Maybe they need to be counted against all the blocks produced, i do not know. But one thing is a fact: A lot of people holding clams want to remove digging. It can be seen here:

I am staking 12.000 clams from desktop wallet. Time expected to earn 1 clam is 1 hour (says wallet) But I am not getting more than 5-8 each day.
Is that ok.

Also, I was on vacation and desktop with wallet stopped. Then I put is on sync and enabled staking and I got abot 200 clams same day, 170 of then were invalid and 20-30 valid.

Something strange I think.

Question about just-dice.com, does it pay for stacking coins also and is there a fee for staking while investing. TY.

170 invalid is quite crazy!!

Just-dice.com charges 10% on coins staked.

FreeBitcoins.com charges 10% on coins staked too.

Not sure where that calculation comes from but it isn't correct.

You are staking 12k claims. The reward per staked block is 1 clam. If you were to get one block every hour that would be 1/60 of the total, so by simple math the the network total staked would be 720k. That's off by half or more.

IMO you should never trust a wallets numbers.  Bitcoin wallet recommends like 2x-10x the needed fee to push a transaction too.

FreeBitcoins.com rocket game is staking around 13,000 CLAM atm.  We just crossed 100 blocks staked last night.

Total Stakes: 107
Total CLAM: 107.00310000
Orphan Count: 20

The reason our orphan count was so high was due to our CLAM client not communicating with peers properly and JD beating us because of our error.  It's been fixed though.

I would imagine our orphan count stays pretty low on our way to 1000 blocks.

Hello everyone,

I am breaking my head here with an item and I do not know if it is possible, how can I leave the executable on drive C and the database on drive D?

Thank you.

You need to start the executable with the param
Code:
-datadir=d:\

in the command-line. If using windows, just right-click on the shortcut icon and add -datadir=D:\ at the end, for example:
Code:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Clam\clam-qt.exe" -datadir=d:\

I've added over 100 CLAMS to the FreeBitcoins.com blastOFF (rockets) weekly prize pool.

Right now if you win 0.21 CLAMS... you get a 14.28 CLAM bonus at the end of the week. (this is going to change and bounce around as the week goes)

Anyone and everyone is welcome to contribute to the pool by typing "/reward x.xxxxxxxxx"
